Ms. Butler was born in Eton, GA on January 31, 1941, to the late Dorsey and Annie (Elliott) Brown. She had an attention for detail that led her to being the 1st administrative assistant at GA Kraft. Those same skills that she took such pride in would eventually shine again in her role of not only member, but also secretary at Shorter Avenue Baptist Church. Her dedication and commitment was respected by all of those she came in contact with. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, quilting, ceramics and could be found getting lost in the story of a good book.
Ms. Butler was a cherished and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Survivors include one daughter, Amy Butler; one sister, Jane (Mike) Meadows; one grandchild, Alyssa Porter Rodgers; two great grandchildren, Bellamy and Lennon James Rodgers; two special nieces, Julie Wilson Robinson and Lori Wilson Gribble; extended family and friends.

Obituary Preview: Mr. Roger Clark Loghry, age 82 of Rydal, Ga., passed away on Friday February 16th, 2024 at Piedmont Cartersville.
Mr. Loghry was born in Stevenson, Washington on May 19th, 1941. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Mr. Loghry was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a retired pipefitter for the Atlantic Steel Company. He loved to fish, hunt, watch his birds, and kill squirrels. He was an avid marksman and had an exquisite collection of firearms and knives. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his two daughters, Robin Harrington (Rickey) of Calhoun and Denise Wood of Panama City; two sons, Anthony and Wayne Loghry both of Rydal; seven grandchildren, Debra Vincent, Candi Loghry, Kayla McDaniel, Anthony Loghry Jr., Justin Buckner, Kaitlyn Loghry, and T.J. Bowden; five great-grandchildren; extended friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday February 21st, 2024 at 3 PM in the chapel of Reynolds Funeral Home.

TT was born on May 7th, 1961 in Floyd county to the late James Wilburn Culberson and Rebecca Shaw Culberson. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Corey Haney; brother, James “Jim” Culberson, and by her brother-in-law, Roy Porter. She was retired from Galey and Lord. TT loved life and was a racing fanatic. She enjoyed NASCAR but had a burning passion for dirt track racing. During racing season, you would find her at Rome Speedway or at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock cheering on her favorite drivers. She loved her dogs, shopping at Walmart, and walking the beach looking for shells. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Rebecca Shaw Culberson; one daughter, Crystal Lewis of Rome; one son, Ronnie “Bubba” Lewis Jr. of Florida; three sisters, Cathy Markin (Joseph), Tina (Steve), and Melissa Porter all of Florida; one brother, Daniel Culberson of Rome; two grandchildren, Ashley Kulka and Jordan Barger; two great-grandchildren, Harper and Saylor Kulka; several cousins, extended family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday February 20th, 2024, at 4 PM in the chapel of Reynolds Funeral Home. Following the service, Mrs. Haney will be cremated.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday February 20th from 2 PM until 4 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Dutton was born in Floyd County to the late J.C Dutton and the late Mary Ellen Frances Carter Dutton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Dutton; sister, Linda Carter; two brothers-in-law, Doug Randolph and Johnny Randolph; sister-in-law, Dorothy Elaine Dutton. Mr. Dutton owned and operated a tree removal service until his retirement. He liked to fish, loved his motorcycles, enjoyed being with his family and friends, and working on cars. He was always smiling and never met a stranger.
Survivors include his daughter, Takowa Jones (T.J) of Shannon; two sons, Adam Ward (Jennifer), and Anthony Dutton (Brandi) of Calhoun; one brother, Rev. Jackie Dutton; four sisters, Dorothy Randolph, Judy C. Randolph, Kathy Dutton, and Geralden Dutton; six grandchildren, Chelsea Crump, Jody Sutton, Riley Sutton, Alyssa Ward, Camden Dutton, and Logan Dutton; three great-grandchildren, Axel and Lilianna Crump, and Denna Sutton; several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Waldrep was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 30th, 1939 to the late Ralph Lanier Waldrep and the late Ruby Louise Brannon Waldrep. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Jeannie Collins and Tess Galloway. Ms. Waldrep was a retired teacher and taught at many various schools during her career. She held a master’s degree in music from the University of Wisconsin and was an accomplished pianist. She choreographed multiple shows for her music classes and was loved by all her students. She loved to write short stories, was a vocalist, hiking, traveling, and laughing.
Survivors include her brother, Richard “Dick” Waldrep of Parkville, MD.; one sister, Anita Lewis of Swainsboro, Ga.; seven nieces, Suzy Bentley, Kendall Duggan, Natalie Galloway, Lauren Coates, Penelope Herman, Eva Marie McRae, and Maddie Waldrep; four nephews, John Collins, Brannon Galloway, Benji Galloway, and Mac McRae.

Born on May 29, 1952, in Moultrie, Georgia, Mrs. Walker was the daughter of the late Alexander Dewitt Simpson and Iris Boyd Simpson. She was a cosmetologist and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Mrs. Walker was an avid pianist and volunteered at local nursing homes sharing the love of Jesus every opportunity she could.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Walker; and brother, Daniel “Danny” Simpson.
Mrs. Walker is survived by her daughters, Rhonda “Mitzi” Smith and husband David of Woodstock, Angela Wolfe and husband Charles of Donalsonville; grandchildren, Jessica Helms and husband Marshall, and Alex Smith all of Woodstock; and great-granddaughter, Tyler Jolene Helms.

Obituary Preview: Mrs. Lois “Jane” Faulkenberry Reece, age 76 of Sugar Valley, Ga., passed away on Wednesday November 22nd, 2023, in a local assisted living facility.
Mrs. Reece was born in Gordon County, Ga., on January 3rd, 1947, to the late George Faulkenberry and the late Monnie Faulkenberry. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Monica Green; her first husband, Clarence “Jay” Green; second husband, Edward “Jim” Reece. Mrs. Reece was of the Church of God faith and was a faithful member of The Sugar Valley Church of God. She loved working in her flowers, volunteering at the Sugar Valley Community Center, and attending church. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Reece owned and operated Styles by Jane for many years.
Survivors include her entire church family; very special friend, Lesa Reece and her husband, Wade of Sugar Valley.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 25th, 2023, at 1 PM at Sugar Valley Church of God with Rev. Joey Henderson and Rev. Duaine Shadix officiating. Music will be arranged by Damon and Maria Henderson. Interment will follow in The Sugar Valley Church of God cemetery. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers include Jimmy Faulkenberry, Wade Reece, Wade Bell, Gavin Reece, Damon Henderson, and Isaac Henderson. Pallbearers are asked to assemble at the church at 12:30 PM on Saturday.

Mr. Landrum was born in Bartow County on November 5th, 1958. Mr. Landrum was employed by CTG, where he worked as an IT Tech until his retirement. Although he loved all things technology, he loved his family and grandchildren the most. He enjoyed spending time with his family and providing for them to the best of his abilities, as well as playing with his cats and watching SpongeBob. Mr. Landrum was of the non-denominational faith. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Little Larry.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Tammy Landrum of Cartersville; one son, Eric Landrum of Cartersville; two daughters, Dana Landrum of Cartersville, and Adrianne Landrum Carson (Willie) of Adairsville; seven grandchildren, LaErikson Rogers, Kailabel, Natalia, Christian, and Owen Carson, Georgia, and Rebecca Abernathy.

Ms. Godfrey was born in Floyd County on November 20th, 1964. She is preceded in death by her mentor, trainer, and idol- her father, Earl Glenn (Bud) Godfrey. Debra was full of life and there was nothing she couldn’t do. She loved her flowers, mowing the grass, working in her garden, and especially rebuilding and painting classic cars. The Lord has gained one spirited and motivated person. Rest in peace our friend.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Eleanore Banghart Godfrey; her brother, Glenn Godfrey; one daughter, Stephanie Wallace (Dustin); two grandchildren which she loved very much, Brentley and Nadia; special friend and companion, Mark Jolly; several nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed being with his friends and riding his motorcycles.

Ms. Casey was a retired caregiver and was a member of Sherwood Forest Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two daughters, Misty, and Melanie Stringer; three grandchildren, Whitney Mills (Ricky), Harley Stringer (Sierra), and Cody Garrison; four great-grandchildren, Colton Mills, Harley Jr., Noah, and Paisley Stringer; two sisters, Brenda Bullen (Dale), and Barbara Wood (Henry); one brother, Aster Bob Rogers; several nieces and nephews.
