Born January 1, 1950, he was the oldest of five children. He was a 1968 graduate of Ansted High School and worked as a self-employed contractor.
Those left to cherish his memory are his three daughters: Leslie (Earl) Chornsbay of Concord, NC, Erin (Phillip) Dempsey of Gold Hill, NC and Allison (Jason) Russell of Concord, NC; Ten loving grandchildren; Four siblings, Gayla (John) Gilkeson, Susan (Lee) Dickerson, Bob "Chink" Flint and Sherri (Jeff) Lawhorn; Two Sister-In-Laws Linda (Rodney Fox) Aguilar and Joan (Harold) Arbaugh and many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
