Mary Susan Duncan - July 21, 1939 - May 08, 2024

Departed: 05/08/2024 (Burlington)
Obituary Preview: It is with much sadness that Mary Susan “Sue” Duncan passed away peacefully on May 8, 2024, at UVM Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont following a brief illness.
She was born Mary Susan Towle, July 21, 1939, in St. Albans, Vermont to William Claire and Ruth Agnes (Haughey) Towle, where shortly thereafter her family moved to Richford, and finally Newport, Vermont, where she attended Sacred Heart High School. She was tall and athletic and played basketball, but her true passion, which followed her all her life, was being a caregiver.
After High School she attended the Jean Mance School of Nursing where she ended up meeting and marrying the love of her life, William S. Duncan on April 8, 1961, with whom she enjoyed a wonderful marriage of 41 years, until his passing in 2002. She worked the “graveyard” shift at Birchwood Nursing Home in Burlington for over 30 years, and those hours allowed her to maintain her passion for caring at work, while also working her “maternal” duties first and foremost. She was home in time to get her children to school and be up by the time they came home. She always took care of everyone else and left little time to herself, which she never complained about.
When the children left the nest, she pursued her love of golf with her good friends at the Williston Country Club where she was a member for many years until her hips prevented her from playing up to her potential, and she moved onto “indoor” sports.
She loved going to bingo in various venues whether it be Essex, Colchester or Burlington, and if she wasn’t home at night, you knew she was probably at one or the other. She developed many lifelong friendships that will live on in her absence, and she certainly will never be forgotten.
With her passion for bingo came a love for gambling, specifically the penny slots, at Akwesasne Casino in New York. She would ride the bus with her bingo crew from the Elks Club and usually stay overnight, and as luck would have it usually came home with more money than she left with.
These last few years there were fewer trips to the Casino, but the void was filled with a weekly card game with the girls and a weekly luncheon which seemed to keep her engaged and happy; she was always at her best when she was with friends and/or family. She thoroughly enjoyed the company of her grandchildren, all of which she was so proud of.
And, if she didn’t have enough to do, she also utilized her nursing skills as a private care provider for a select few people whom she knew and/or knew of her. At a time when someone really should’ve been taking care of her, she was still caring for others right until the end.
She was predeceased by her husband William S. of 41 years, her brother William H. of Florida and sister Elizabeth “Betty” Ohno of Saugerties, New York.
Sue was a devout Catholic and her faith got her through many difficult times. She attended Christ the King/St. Anthony parish where she was an accomplished and welcomed reader at the 11:00 Mass every Sunday. My heartfelt thanks to Fr. Justin Baker for caring for and support for Mother right up until her last breath.
She leaves a son William of Essex Junction, VT, a daughter Suzanne of Grand Junction, Colorado; her best dear friend Carol Wright of South Burlington, VT; her grandchildren Sydney and Olivia Duncan of Essex, Jamie and Kendra Herald of Grand Junction, Colorado and William Purcell Jr. of New York City; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and last but not least, her companion for the last 7 years, her beloved cat, Molly.
We would like to acknowledge all the caregivers that helped her through the last very difficult few weeks of her life, either at Birchwood Nursing Home or UVM Medical Center. They all gravitated toward her to the point where one nurse at the hospital called her “Mama”, while he gently turned her, changed her or just talked to her. I know she appreciated that, and it helped her find peace ultimately.
Visiting hours will be at Ready Funeral Home on Shelburne Road on Monday, May 20, from 4-6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 21 at Christ the King Church in Burlington at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of Ready funeral and Cremation Services. To send online condolences please visit www.ready funeral.com

Linda Clark Sousie - November 16, 1958 - May 07, 2024

Departed: 05/07/2024 (Burlington)
Obituary Preview: Linda Clark Sousie was born November 16, 1958, first surviving child of Edith and Bill Clark of Barton, VT and died May 7, 2024.
Linda graduated from Lake Region Union High School with the class of 1976. She then graduated from the O’Brien’s School of Cosmetology in June 1977. Continuing her education, she specialized in European Facial treatments. Between 1983 and 1992, she owned and operated Linda’s Beauty Den. In her experiences, she performed facial treatments on people from all over the world and for three years she wrote a weekly published column known as Face Facts.
Linda enjoyed volunteering. For many years she served on a Christian Women’s Club Executive Board. Also, she and her husband, Alan, along with a group of others, prepared and served monthly suppers for seven years at the Burlington Salvation Army center. Additionally, Linda served as a member of the North Avenue Alliance Church’s Deaconess Board for several years. During her youth, Linda once raced to save a friend’s life, just two days out of having eye surgery herself. For her heroism, she became a decorated civilian recipient of the “hometown hero medal.”
Linda enjoyed being a visitor guide at the Shelburne Museum during 1987. And for well over 20 years, she served as a hairdresser for the Sisters of Mercy.
Indeed, Linda was the loving wife of Alan Sousie of Burlington, VT having married him on February 13, 1994. Linda was also a loving sister of Laura Sheehan and a loving aunt of several nieces and nephews. She cared deeply for her cousins and especially loved and appreciated her in-laws.
Outside her family, Linda was a loyal and loving friend. She did not hesitate to show cheerful appreciation toward all retail clerks, bank tellers and waitpersons. She often left thank you notes for the mail carriers. And she was a lifelong, terrific letter writer including many years as a participant of the Vermont Sunshine Pen-Pal Club. Linda was a marvelous cook who enjoyed preparing an elegant table and fine dining for family and friends. She relished the sounds of good music and the pleasure of well-done theater performances. She was politically astute, and always voted her conscience. And like her mother-in-law, Lorette, Linda loved quality antiques and fine jewelry. One of her favorite TV shows was Antique Roadshow! Linda interestingly had unusual knowledge about the care and maintenance of her cars. She often said that she missed getting under the “bonnet” to do her own repairs, especially when cars became more technically complicated. There was no doubt that Linda always chose a luxury class automobile. A favorite quote of hers, “You only go around once in life, and it may as well be in a Park Avenue!”
Linda had experienced many years of extreme pain and other suffering which has now ended. She will never pain nor sorrow again. She is in heaven with God and our Savior, Jesus Christ awaiting those of us who follow her there.
Linda and Alan would like to acknowledge the outstanding, dedicated care that was provided by Karen Niquette of TLC Hom Care during the last four years of Linda’s life. She is indeed an angel in human form! We also hold similar feelings for the amazing Hospice Team who nurtured and looked after Linda and Alan for the past seven years. They are too numerous to recognize individually here, but let it be known that their expertise and compassion will never be forgotten. For anyone who would like to share in the celebration of Linda’s life, you are invited to visit the Ready Funeral Home, Shelburne Road, Burlington on Monday May 13, 2024 4-6 pm and to attend the Memorial Service on Tuesday May 14 ,0224 at 10 am at the North Avenue Alliance Church, Burlington. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery Burlington. The service will be followed by a friendly reception at the same location in the church fellowship hall. May God be with you all! Lois D. McGuire - July 21, 1936 - April 29, 2024

Departed: 04/29/2024 (Burlington)
Obituary Preview: Today, we honor the life of Lois Desautels McGuire. A devout follower of the lord, a lover and player of music, and an inspiring matriarch of the Desautels family. She was born in Rapid City, South Dakota on July 21st, 1936.
One of three children, Lois lived the majority of her life in Rapid City, South Dakota, where she raised her children for some time alongside her first husband, Conrad Desautels Jr. In the late 60’s, she and her family moved together to Burlington, Vermont, where they would spend the next 30 years together.
In her adult life, she served as an OR nurse instructor, where she shaped the teaching and education of hundreds of trained nurses in her time in the field. Over many weekends, she was the Church Organist, and a parish member at Christ the King in Burlington, Vermont.
On December 12th, 1995, Conrad passed away from a sudden heart attack. His absence was missed by all of his children, grandchildren, fellow church members, and all other members of the community in towns throughout Chittenden County. Most of all, Lois made mention of him for the rest of her life, and in her conversations the love she had for him resonated in each person who had, and hadn’t, met her husband.
14 years after Conrad’s passing, she met a kind and humorous man from Brooklyn, New York named Edward “Ed” McGuire. After many outings at McDonald’s, Wendy’s and other local Vermont fast food chains, they made a decision that changed the rest of their lives together and got engaged. While late in their lives, they spent the next 14 years happily married, having moved down to St. Augustine, Florida.
In her final months, she resided in Essex Junction, Vermont, to be closer to the whole Desautels family. Living for 6 months alongside her, Ed passed on February 15th, 2024 at the age of 100 years old.
Surviving and thriving are four of her five children: Terry, Mark, Tom, and Lori. In her legacy live 13 grandchildren, based in places across Vermont, New York, and Georgia. To many of her grandchildren, Lois was affectionately referred to as “Grammy”. For decades she sat as the faithful matriarch of the family.
Lois passed peacefully on April 29th, 2024 at 10:19 PM. Until the very end, she was surrounded by her loving family. Although departing us in the physical world, she joins Conrad, Edward, and Janet upwards in Heaven in a long-awaited and joyful reunion.
We give our wholehearted gratitude to the family and staff at Mansfield Place and Bayada Hospice, who provided tender, loving care for Lois in the last 6 months of her life. You all made her last moments special, and we sincerely appreciate what you have done for our family.

Francis John Lennon - May 01, 1948 - April 29, 2024

Departed: 04/29/2024 (Burlington)
Obituary Preview: Francis "Frank" John Lennon, died on April 29, 2024, at his home in Burlington, VT. He was born on May 1, 1948 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan.
Frank spent his youth in Queens Village, NY attending Our Lady of Lourdes School. He was a frequent traveler, embarking on many summer holidays to Ireland to visit his grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins. Steamship travel, and the need to dress fancy for meals, gave Frank his love of three-piece suits and cool hats.
Frank graduated from Power Memorial Academy in Manhattan. During high school, he was a member of the Glee Club and Bowling team. He often recounted to his children that he needed to walk, take a bus and ride the subway to get to school every day. He also liked to share that one of his classmates went on to be a famous NBA star.
Frank graduated from St. John’s University, in Queens, with a Political Science degree in 1969. Frank loved to discuss politics and leave the TV on CSPAN for background noise.
Frank was part of the “Sabre Street Madmen’’, a group of close friends who met in kindergarten and have remained tight over the decades. Frank’s masterful driving skills earned him the nickname “U-Turn” for his ability to make them on a dime and, for some reason, very frequently.
Hot rods and cars were an integral part of Frank’s life. From late night drag-racing to memorizing every aspect of any model of car ever assembled, Frank knew automobiles. He could name them by their headlight shape, their paint or decal options, or how they sounded. This love of cars was shared with his buds and his dad. Later in life, he was the master of always reminding his loved ones when their car needed an oil change. He also sent classified ads to anyone who was thinking of buying a car, whether or not they asked for such assistance. Lastly, Frank’s love of die-cast model cars continued for over 70 years. Weekly outings to every drug store in northern Vermont were a must to find a toy car with the properly-portrayed factory options.
His early travel experience steered him towards his future career. His first job was with SwissAir at JFK loading luggage onto planes and dabbling in freight shipping. One perk of this position was last minute, inexpensive tickets, which allowed Frank to travel the world–alas just quick trips with a backpack and a tight turnaround. In the early 1970s, he left NYC for Connecticut and worked for Emery Worldwide at BDI. He specialized in getting packages where they needed to be and Emery’s expansion to BTV brought him and his growing family to Vermont in 1979. He continued to work for Emery and its subsidiaries until the mid-1990s. He then worked at KBA Planeta until his retirement in 2009, moving industrial-sized printing press machines from Europe. Despite his retirement from full-time work, he brought smiles to passengers by reuniting them with their delayed luggage and delivering Friday paychecks to those excited for their weekend. Frank’s work ethic was bar-none and didn’t miss a day in his life. Frank later enjoyed lunch dates with his children; attending his grandchildren’s concerts and sporting events; puttering around the house; and watching car videos on YouTube.
Frank’s superpowers included: His quick wit and dry humor, you needed to be fast to catch the joke; His ability to name any airport in the world via its three-alpha code; His ability to get the family to the airport with hours to spare; and His ability to carve a turkey. Frank loved: Good fish n’ chips; Classic movies; Irish sweaters; Three-piece suits; and Thrift shop tee shirts.
Frank is survived by his seven children: Jeanne (Karl), Teresa, Jennifer, Francis (Laura), Audrey (Patrick), Jack, and Tony; as well as their mother, Frank's former spouse and lifelong friend, Kathleen Mellisy Lennon. In addition, Frank is survived by his seven grandchildren: Nicholas, Peyton, Carter, Parker, Milo, Tyler, and Addison. Frank is predeceased by his mother, Margaret O’Neill Lennon; his father Hugh P. Lennon; and his partner-in-life, Judith E. Ververs. He will also be greatly missed by his crew: Tom, Frank, Tom, Frank (not a typo), Anthony and Rich.

Departed: 04/26/2024 (Burlington)
Obituary Preview: Dr. Andrew Paul Krapcho passed away, peacefully, at the UVM Medical Center at the grand old age of 92. Born in Alden, Pennsylvania to Martin and Anna Krapcho, Paul was the youngest of four children, all of whom were encouraged to attend college to avoid a coal mining career which ended his father’s life when Paul was only 11 years old. His older brother John, a PhD chemist, served as his mentor, and father figure, encouraging him to pursue chemistry as a career. After earning BS and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry from Penn State (1953) and Harvard (1957), respectively, he then taught at Smith College for two years where his soon to be wife, Arlene Fisher, was a student. They married in the chapel on the Smith College campus in 1958, and welcomed their first child Karen the following year, during his post doc at Penn State University. He joined the Chemistry Department at UVM, with the inception of a Ph.D. degree program in 1960. Soon after his arrival in Vermont, his daughter Susan, and 2-years later, son Doug, were born.
During a 40-year teaching span, he taught organic chemistry to approximately 6000 undergraduate students, and over 400 graduate students, 49 of whom received PhD’s. Amongst his most impactful contributions to science were the development of a well-known chemical reaction, regularly referred to as "Krapcho decarboxylation" and co-discovery of the anti-cancer drug, pixantrone (trade name Pixuvri), currently used in the treatment of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
As an invited speaker to many international symposia, Paul loved to travel and enjoyed exploring the plains of Africa, wonders of New Zealand, temples of India and the Great Wall of China, to name a few of his destinations. He enjoyed skiing, scuba diving and camping with his family. He was very fond of sailing and kayaking on Lake Champlain and enjoyed the naps he and Arlene took up at their cabin later in their lives.

Obituary Preview: It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gary Eldred Cunningham shares the passing of their beloved father, brother, Grandfather and Great Grandfather.
Gary was born October 23rd 1950 to Eldred and Arlene Cunningham in Burlington Vermont. As a jack of all trades, he was known throughout the community as the local milk man, flooring contractor, and all around handyman whose opinion was often sought out. If you were fortunate enough to cross paths with him, within minutes you were lifelong friends.

You would usually find him hanging out with his kids, grandchildren and/or great grandchildren. He loved dancing to live music, going on hunting adventures with his boys, hitting the track either in the seat of his race car or cheering on from the sidelines, and sharing his slice of heaven on the beach of Isle La Motte.
Gary was predeceased by his parents Eldred and Arlene Cunningham, his brothers Bruce and Brian Cunningham, and his wife Michelle Bara-Cunningham.
Gary is survived by his partner Charlotte Varrichione, his siblings Bradley Cunningham, Cindy Carty, Stephen Cunningham and Vicky MacArthur. Randy will miss the frequent nagging that Candy did with much love. Candy loved the phone jabber “when you could reach her” Donna her sister will miss this as well as her friend. She had a passion for rescuing homeless animals and supporting animal rescue which she has passed down to her daughter. Her absence will be greatly missed and the hole in our hearts will be filled with memories. May she rest with her loving parents, and passed loved ones and her loving pets, Bindi, Belle, and Cherokee.

Robert C. Nowak - November 02, 1942 - April 10, 2024

Departed: 04/10/2024 (Burlington)
Obituary Preview: Robert C. Nowak: A Life Filled with Love, Adventure, and Quiet Strength November 2, 1942 ∼ April 10, 2024
Robert C. Nowak, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a man of deep faith, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2024, at the UVM Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont. He was 81 years old.
Born on November 2, 1942, in Dunkirk, NY, to the late Conrad and Virginia Nowak, Bob grew up with a zest for life and a thirst for knowledge. After graduating from Dunkirk High School, he earned a degree in Construction Management at Erie County Technical Institute in Buffalo, NY. This path led him to Vermont, where he played a key role in the construction of Interstate 91 and Jay Peak Ski Resort. In the early 1980’s, Bob left his position with Don Hamlin Engineering and embarked on a celebrated 40-year career as a financial advisor with New York Life and co-founder, along with his wife Pat, of Nowak and Nowak Financial Services. He worked tirelessly to provide guidance and support to his clients, helping them navigate the complexities in areas such as college financial planning, retirement planning, and life insurance. His expertise and trustworthy nature made him the go-to person for many, who would often say, "Let's just ask Bob. He'll know what to do." People trusted him implicitly, and Bob's commitment to his clients' well-being earned him a reputation as a trusted confidant and friend to those he served.
Bob met and married the love of his life, Pat Nowak in 1982. They blended their families - Bob's two sons and Pat's three children - creating a home filled with love and countless adventures. With five children coming and going under one roof, there was never a dull moment, and Bob embraced every minute of it. He found joy in cooking for his family, with his famous goulash and evenings spent around the table playing cards being cherished memories. As a quiet and gentle leader in the home, he provided unwavering support and guidance to his children, always with a touch of his signature dry humor. Bob was immensely proud of each of their accomplishments, both professionally and as parents themselves.
Bob was a man of varied interests, finding delight in the roar of engines at car races, the soaring beauty of air shows, and the rich history of World War II. His curiosity and zest for life were evident in the way he relished each new experience. Even in high school, Bob's light feet and graceful moves earned him a reputation as an excellent dancer. He and Pat shared a passion for dancing and lit up the dance floor together, even winning a few contests along the way.
When not working, Bob traveled extensively to destinations like Hawaii, Alaska, Ireland, and Paris. Whether sharing a military cruise on an aircraft carrier with his son Richard, attending his children’s school events or making countless visits to see his thirteen grandchildren, time spent with his family brought him deep joy. The preciousness of these moments was never lost on him and he shed happy tears gladly, and often.
Tragically, Bob lost his beloved wife Pat in 2018, and he missed her deeply every day since her passing. In 2023, Bob was delighted to welcome his first great-grandchild, James Peter, born to his granddaughter Katie Nowak, daughter of his son Peter Nowak. The opportunity to meet and spend time with James Peter brought a special happiness to Bob in his final year.
A true pillar of his community, Bob tirelessly dedicated himself to bettering the lives of those around him. He devoted countless hours to community service, coached his boys' hockey teams, and was actively involved in local politics as a member of the South Burlington Republican Committee. Bob also served on the Board of Civil Authority, working diligently at the polls to ensure fair and transparent elections. As a steadfast supporter of the Air National Guard, he recognized the importance of their role in protecting our nation.
Bob's faith was an integral part of his life, and he was a devoted member of the parish at St. Francis Xavier Church. His commitment to his faith served as a guiding light throughout his life, providing him with strength, purpose, and comfort.
Bob Nowak lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable adventures. His warm smile, kind heart, steady strength, and unfailing sense of humor will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Bob is survived by his sons Richard Nowak of South Burlington, VT, Peter Nowak of Mansfield, MA, Robert F. McCarthy (Liz) of Ridgewood, NJ, and his two daughters Christine Winters (Peter) of Marion, MA, and Alison Cossette (Trygve) of Williston, VT. He is also survived by his sister Joyce Koch (Fritz) of Williamsburg, VA, thirteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild: Emily and Dan McCarthy, Thomas and Julia Winters, Thor and Lachlan Cossette, Alexander, Alyssa and Katrina Nowak, Katie, Brian, Molly and Erin Nowak, and great-grandson James Peter.

Patricia Ann Preseault - January 27, 1940 - April 08, 2024

Departed: 04/08/2024 (Burlington)
Obituary Preview: Patricia Ann Preseault from Vermont, born on January 27th 1940, passed away peacefully on April 8th, 2024, at home surrounded by her children in Maui, Hawaii. Patricia was known by many names - Patricia, Pat, Patty, Trish, Mrs. P., Mimi, Mom…and this was quite appropriate because she was a force - that couldn’t’ be contained by just one name.  While her demeanor was humble and quiet, she was never to be underestimated.  When things needed to be done she was often 10 steps ahead of everyone - literally and figuratively.  Raised in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, and a lifelong resident of Burlington, Vt - she was ever attached to her natural surroundings - her gardens and flowers were breathtaking.  Her gardening skills transferred nicely to Maui where later in life she would spend half her year on the island.  Appreciating beauty and tranquility was a lifelong passion of hers - and she made sure that she could do just that ONLY after she’d put in a full day of earning it through her sweat and determination.  When the sun was setting low over the mountains, reflecting off the waters of Lake Champlain in Vermont or the Pacific Ocean in Maui, you could see her bliss as she listened to the songs of the birds she enjoyed so much…
She is predeceased by her husband Paul Preseault, her parents, Armand and Norma Morin and her grandson, John Huxley Hammond.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Holly Hammond, and her sons Todd, (Debra Preseault) and J.Paul Preseault, (Heather Heinlein).  Patricia has two sisters, Bonnie Jean Tasha and Marguerite Tyrell.  Her grandchildren are:  Erika, Ethan and Kai Preseault, James Radley Hammond and Jackson Heinlein-Preseault.

William E. Goldsbury - September 13, 1947 - April 06, 2024

Departed: 04/06/2024 (Burlington)
Obituary Preview: William E. Goldsbury (Bill), 76 years old, passed away on April 6, 2024, at the University of Vermont Medical Center after a yearlong struggle with cancer. Bill had never faced such a life challenge, and he truly showed such courage in trying his best to deal with all that goes with a cancer diagnosis. As sad as we are, his family is so relieved for Bill that he no longer must face this pain and struggle each day.
Bill was born in St. Albans, VT on September 13, 1947, the first of six children to Bill and Myrle Goldsbury. Bill grew up in St. Albans and greatly enjoyed his family and the following of friendships he made through his high school years there. After high school, Bill attended the University of Vermont and then made Burlington his home for the rest of his life.
He spent his entire career in local television production rooms, at WCAX Channel 3 and then at WFFF Fox 44, having only officially retired in 2019. In 2021 Bill received the Vermont Association of Broadcasters Distinguished Service Award for his service over his many years in the industry.
Bill lived a simple and predictable life, that always had his family and friends as his guiding light. Even with life challenges over the years, his honest and humble approach to being with the people that meant the most to him……family and others……. was often overshadowed by his quiet nature. His family will miss him so much at all gatherings, that always included simple and thoughtful gestures of cards and gifts.
Bill is survived by his 5 siblings: Jim (Jan), Carol, Jane (Ed), Peg, and John (Sandy). Also, by his nieces and nephews: Cory (Danielle), Shawn (Jen), Kevin (Caroline), Dan (Katie), Jason (Kiley), Ashley (Ben), Ryan (Deb), Joe (Renee), Jenn (Ryan), Michael (Talina), Liz, Stephanie (Jack), many cousins and his Aunt Irene (Goldsbury) Bouchard…the last of our Greatest Generation. He is also survived by many friends and acquaintances over these many years in the local television industry and the Burlington area.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Myrle Goldsbury, many aunts, uncles, and other relatives, and most recently his nephew Christopher Goldsbury.
The family would like you to take special notice, as we thank the remarkable medical staff at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Bill’s care was led by Dr. Steven Ades, and together with the incredible medical staff on Miller 5, Bill received the most professional and personal care that one could receive. This community is fortunate to have this facility here if we are ever in need of medical care.
There will be a funeral service for Bill on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. Mark’s Catholic Church on North Avenue, Burlington VT, with a burial by the family sometime in June.
Bill was notably affected by his nephew Chris’s passing, and yet even with his cancer struggles found the way to attend the Toph Foundation’s (the family’s foundation for Chris) annual golf event in Chris’s honor last summer. Those who might want to honor Bill would be asked to consider a donation, in memory of Chris, to The Toph Foundation, c/o Joe Goldsbury, 1795 Williston Road – Suite 130, South Burlington, VT 05403.
