Sandra was born May 8, 1942 in Red Oak, North Carolina, to George Hailey and Patti Solomon. On December 10, 1958, she married the love of her life Richard Leon Marion, in Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Roxanna Stout, her husband, Richard L. Marion, and great grandson, Isaiah Gonzales.

Funeral services for Lora Jane Pinkston, 91, were conducted Wednesday, May 8, in the First United Methodist Church, where she had been a long-term member. Rev. Rick Doyle officiated the services. Interment followed in the Seaside Memorial Park in Corpus Christi, TX on Friday, May 10 with arrangements under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.
She passed away on Monday, April 29, in California.
Mrs. Pinkston was born on April 17, 1933, in St. Francisville, Illinois to William and Fraulein Ralston. The family eventually moved to Texas, where she married Robert D. Pinkston on August 18, 1951. She lived in Texas for over 70 years and considered the state her home. She loved music, choir, and growing plants.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and both sisters, Phyllis Jean and Olive June. She is survived by two sons, David M. Pinkston of Livermore, California, and Thomas R. Pinkton of Herndon, Virginia; three grandchildren, Robert Y. Pinkston, Willliam Y. Pinkston, and Lauren Pinkston Haislip; two great grandchildren, two cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.

Victoria was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Reyna.
She is survived by her husband, Lonnie McKenzie; a daughter, Emmie McKenzie; two sons Gus McKenzie and Gabe McKenzie; her father, David Martinez; two brothers, David Martinez Jr. & Anjuli, Tyke Dyer; her father and mother-in-law, Tommy & Jan McKenzie; brother and sister-in-law, Cody & Jana McKenzie; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Obituary Preview: Pablo S. Gonzales, 76, of Denver City, Texas left this world for his home in Heaven on April 8, 2024. Pablo was born June 21, 1947, to Cresencio Gonzalez and Juana Silvas in Alpine, Texas.
Pablo answered the call to serve his country in the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart. Following his service in the United States Army, he met his wife Celia M. Gonzales and they were married for 55 years.
Pablo enjoyed watching all sports his kids and grandkids played and his favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Pablo is remembered by his family as an amazing husband, father, Popo, and brother. He was a man with a great sense of humor and generous to those who were in need of help. Pablo is greatly loved and missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Celia M. Gonzales; sons, Ruben Gonzales and David Gonzales; grandchildren Nicholas and Reagan Gonzales; sisters, Consuelo Perez, Alice Martinez, Erma Molina and Gloria Gonzales.
Pablo was preceded in death by his parents, Cresencio and Juana, his brothers Domingo Acosta and Jesus Gonzalez.

Chelsea graduated Valedictorian of DCHS in 2007, then graduated from Texas Tech in 2012 with a Bachelors in Psychology. Chelsea achieved a degree from SMU in 2015 with a Master’s of Science in Psychology and Counseling. Chelsea loved her nieces, nephews and all of the children she counseled. Her business was Anchor of Hope Counseling in Lubbock.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather’s Tommy Gatlin and L.C. Duke, grandmother’s Lanell Duke and Karen Gatlin, father-in-law, Ed Ledvina, and her beloved aunt Jackie. She is survived by her husband, David Ledvina; her parents, Glen and Charlotte Stroud; two brothers, Zachary Stroud, Jacob Stroud and fiancé Elisia Janee; her mother-in-law, Linda Ledvina and sister-in-law Lisa Schullenberg; nieces and nephews, Ethan, Stevie, Elaina, Emily, Van, Rosie; her grandmothers, Faye Mitchell, Judy Waller; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Gerald passed away on March 1, 2024, at 6:45 a.m.
He was born to his parents L.R. Segars and Ethel (Stoddard) Segars on August 27, 1935, in Graham, Texas.
After High School graduation, Gerald served two years in the military. He returned to Graham where he met Mary June Brown, and they married on July 5th, 1957. Gerald moved June and their children (Gerri and Don) from Graham to Odessa Texas. In Odessa Gerald, with his brother-in-law C.B. Brown and other family members, worked in the oilfield. From Odessa the family moved to Hobbs, N.M. where Gerald worked for Oilfield Rentals and Tesoro Land and Marine. In the early eighties Gerald and June moved to Denver City where Gerald Managed Tesoro Land and Marine rental tools. When Land and Marine closed, Gerald went to work for Dotco and then Weatherford rental tools and reverse units. After Weatherford Gerald worked for Production reverse and fishing tools until his wife became ill. Gerald retired and took care of June until she passed. He stayed retired until Production Downhole called and asked if he would work for them. He worked there until his late 70s. He enjoyed the job and the people he worked with. Other than working, Gerald enjoyed his family, his brothers-in-law, in-laws, and outlaws of the family. He also enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, and golfing. Gerald and June loved the relationships they developed at Trinity Baptist Church and were active within the Church, assisting with the many different outreach programs within the church. He was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the caregivers who assisted during this difficult time.
He is survived by his children Don Segars, and wife Debbie, of Hobbs, New Mexico, Gerri Thompson of Hobbs, New Mexico; three grandchildren, Vikki Lamar, and husband, Derek; Jennifer Daniel, and husband, Chris; Clay Thompson, and wife, Tasha; Step grandchildren, Kelly Maytubby, wife, Melissa; Lisa Lewis; and Brian Woner, wife, Sadie; and numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; his wife, June Segars; and three brothers Kenneth, Winford, and Harold.

Before working over 20 years for Gaines County maintenance department as a equipment operator, Gail worked at the carbon plant.
He enjoyed bowling, playing pool and even won tournaments, he like playing dominoes and loved being in the mountains. He loved the dogs he had.
Gail was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Nicky Dean Ribble; two sisters, Dorothy Sides and Janell Spence.
He is survived by his three grandchildren, Melissa Nesting, Nicky Dean Ribble Jr., and Christopher Boyd; his two nephews, Stanley Sides, Michael Porter; three nieces, Terry Sides-Eddy, Balinda Porter, Sharon Woelfel.

Obituary Preview: Billy Sides, 83, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, at Shinnery Oaks Community in Denver City.
Billy was born on April 24, 1940, in Gorman, Texas to Bill & Gladys Sides. The family moved to Denver City in 1951. Bill was a graduate of Denver City High School. He worked on the Olan Cox Ranch and was employed by David Bruton for many years in the oilfield company.
He loved the Denver City Mustangs and Fillies. He seldom missed a sporting event or school activity. He could be found on the sidelines of the football field, running chains and yard markers; on the bench at basketball games, keeping the books or the score; or assisting at track meets. He thoroughly enjoyed riding the Mustang bus to out-of-town games. “Coach Bill” was awarded the DCHS letter jacket which he proudly wore.
He was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church, Denver City, and attended regularly.
Billy is survived by his brother, Eddie, and wife Mary Anne, of Abilene, Texas; his sister Diane McDaniel, of Athens, Alabama; and his sister Donna Hill, of Henderson, Nevada. Beloved nieces and nephews include Donna Rene Greener, David Hill, Stephen Sides, Patton Sides, Martha Huber, and Mike McDaniel, and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother John.
The family thanks the staff at Shinnery Oaks Community for their loving and attentive care of Bill.

Funeral services were under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Directors and officiated by Bill’s niece Rev. Dr. Katie Hays, minister of Galileo Church of Mansfield, Texas. The music provided by the Denver City Church of Christ. Burial will be at Denver City Memorial Park Cemetery.
Bill was born in Roswell, New Mexico on June 13, 1940, to Clyde and Helen Hays. He grew up on a sheep ranch in New Mexico.
He attended and graduated from High School at Corona, NM. He participated in sports and won the Woody Hayes award in football. He went on to graduate from Abilene Christian College, with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Ranching and livestock were his passion, he managed several large ranches in New Mexico and owned several agriculture businesses in Texas. In his later year he and his wife Judy owned Stay and Play boarding and grooming, where he made close friends with people and their pets.
He leaves behind his wife Judy Hays; a son Bill Hays of Farmington, NM.; a son Kelley Hays (Leigh) of Celina, Texas; a granddaughter Emily and a grandson Joshua. A stepdaughter Christina Childress (Jared) of Lubbock, Texas; a grandson Aaron Childress (Autumn) of Slaton, Texas; a granddaughter Cassy Childress (Felix) and a great granddaughter Vivia of Lubbock, Texas; a sister Maxine Hammer (Earl) of Edmond, OK and their families; a brother Robert Hays (Sandi) of Edmond, OK and their families; a brother Joe Hays (Glo) of College Station, Texas and their families. Many aunts, uncles and cousins he loved dearly. Bill loved the Lord, his family and his country.
The family want to thank Dr. Odom and the Yoakum Co. Hospital for the good care there! Also thank you to the Hospice team that became our family. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful community of church and friends that reached out to us.

He began his career with United Supermarket in Vernon, Texas and Brownfield, Texas before moving to Denver City with Piggly Wiggly and then the remainder of his career with Dales Venture Foods. Retiring after 30 years as a store manager, he also served as a DCISD crossing guard for many years. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Denver City, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ocie and Mary Alice Beard, his wife, Royce Jean Beard, a twin sister Joyce Marie and a brother Bob.
Richard is survived by two sons, Billy Beard and wife Gina, of Denver City, TX., James Beard and wife Tina of Okmulgee, OK.; a daughter Nancy Eastteam and husband Calvin, of Denver City, TX.

He graduated from DCISD in 1984, worked in the oilfield industry for forty years, and was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church.
Joey was preceded in death by his grandparents; a sister Elissa Trinidad-Flores.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of twenty-eight years, Teri Trinidad; his parents Joe and Margaret Trinidad; a son Ivan Trinidad; a daughter Yesenia Trinidad; two grandchildren Jeremiah Trinidad and Arianna Esquivel; a brother Danny Trinidad; a sister Darlene Baskin; his father and mother-in-law Quirino and Beatrice Molina; a brother-in-law Adrian Molina; a sister-in-law Isabel Molina and husband Asa Coston; several nieces and nephews.
