She is survived by four children – Rosie Parker, Sandy Blair (Jeff), Lander Parker (Keyla), Teresa Casey (Vince). She leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Lander Parker, her daughter Nadine Hall, three brothers: Jay Hopkins, Benny Hopkins, and Jim Hopkins, three sisters: Doris Fay Norman, Billy Marcum, and Mary Collins.
Jearleen was loved by all who knew her. She loved to laugh and absolutely loved being with her children. Her heart's desire was to know that she would see all her children and grandchildren in heaven. She loved her Lord with all her heart and is finally home.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 10:00 at Barker-Garrett Cemetary, Rose Hill, Virginia.

He is survived by his daughter Nancy (Jim) Miracle, son Harvey Gollahan, a host of grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Brock; two sons, Michael Pridemore and Randy Pridemore; sisters, Mary Lee Roark, Dorothy Jones, Juanita Pridemore, Betty Sue Pridemore, Frances Jones, and Elizabeth Britton; brothers, Charles (Charlie) Pridemore, Jim Pridemore, Ray Pridemore and Dewey Pridemore and numerous nieces and nephews.

Additionally, he served as Director of Missions for the Powell River Baptist Association in the 1970’s. Along with his love for people and teaching them about the love of Jesus, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was also known for his enthusiasm and adoration for working on vehicles.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Myrtice Murphree, and one brother, James Lynn Murphree.

Bacon, age 76, of Rose Hill passed away June 10, 2022, at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.  He was a lifelong resident of Lee County.  He was owner and operator of Bacon Auto Parts for 47 years.  He especially enjoyed his many years of serving the community with wrecker calls.
He was a faithful member of the Christian Church of Rose Hill, where he served many years as Chairman of the Board.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James O. Bacon, Sr. and Gustava Nida Bacon, his brothers Ike, Ernest, Kemp, James O., Jr., and a baby sister.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda Hines Bacon; one son, David and wife Kim; grandchildren, Chris, Dalton, and Sara; sister-in-law, Mary Kay Bacon; special cousin, Mary Sue Hounshell, whom he thought of as a sister; nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
Graveside services will be held June 14, at 1:00 PM at Lee Memorial Gardens Park West in Rose Hill.  Officiating will be Pastor, Don Rogers.  Family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall immediately after the service.
