She leaves behind her brothers Stuart Dupee (Muriel Defonzo) and James Dupee (Joyce) all of West Haven, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jane is predeceased by her parents Stuart and Susan Dupee of West Haven.

Jane met Michael (Mike) Pniewski, her husband, of 52 years in high school in 1965. Together Mike and Jane raised their three children in West Haven, a place Jane truly loved growing up, and continuing to reside close to its beautiful beaches. Jane was a paraprofessional for the West Haven Public Schools for nearly 30 years finally retiring in April of 2023. Most of those years were spent at Seth G. Haley School where she and her children had all attended. Jane loved ice skating, walks outdoors, hockey, and Billy Joel. Sending cards, offering small gifts of gratitude or appreciation, and helping others were constants throughout Jane’s life.

Loving mother to Roy (Stephanie) Cuzzocreo, Joseph Cuzzocreo, Jr., both of Orange, Toni Marie (Robert) Gelineau, of Venice, Florida, and the late James L. Cuzzocreo, grandmother to Matthew, David, Daniel and Brian Cuzzocreo and Marciana Gelineau Hubbard, and great grandmother to Evelyn, Aaron, Elizabeth and Anneliese Cuzzocreo. Daughter of the late Luigi and Ida Seidenari Clini, Emma was sister to the late Eugene, Aldo, Pasquale, Bruno and Louis Clini, the late Rose Petersen and is survived by her sister, Josephine Dittmann, of Venice, Florida. Born in West Haven, Ct., Emma graduated from West Haven High School in 1945. In 1951, she married the love of her life, Joseph Cuzzocreo, Sr., and moved to Alexandria, Virginia, while Joe finished his tour of duty in the Army at Ft. Meyers in Arlington, Virginia. After the birth of their son, Roy, Emma and Joe returned to Orange, Ct, to become lifelong residents of Joe’s hometown. Emma’s early married life was busy, not only raising Roy and his siblings, Toni Marie and twins, James and Joseph, she was Joe’s right hand in the operation of the Orange Fence and Supply Company, taken over by Joe from his father in 1958. With seeming endless energy, she answered phones, managed billing and payroll, sold fence, made dinners and managed four young children. Emma hit her stride, however, when she began to advocate for her sons and the disability community in general, for better opportunities in education, recreation, and social services. An early advocate for mainstream education, Emma was instrumental in the early days of the Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES), Connecticut Special Olympics, and Tracy Bunch, among programs too numerous to mention. In 1982, Emma and Joe formed a non-profit organization for the establishment of a community living facility in Orange which would serve adults with developmental disabilities; this facility continues its work today. Emma, alongside her husband, dedicated innumerable hours to the betterment of the Town of Orange and those with disabilities. The founding member and Queen Mother of the Aqua Belles Red Hatter Society of Orange, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, a Human Services Commissioner for the Town of Orange and a member of the Ladies Marchegian Society, among many other activities, if you lived in Orange, you knew (or knew of) Emma and Joe. Emma has been honored by many agencies, receiving the Paul Harris Fellowship Award from the Orange Rotary Club, and was named a Town of Orange Living Treasure.

Cheryl was born in New London on July 3, 1955 daughter of the late Russell and Dorothy Burgess Roly Jr. She grew up in Niantic where she spent her days boating, crabbing, and fishing with lifelong friend Jane Summers, where her love of lobster and shrimp cocktail began. After moving to West Haven at age 15, Cheryl met the love of her life Harry Molyneux in 1971. They were married on May 29, 1976, in West Haven. During their 48 years of marriage, they raised three children: Christopher (Alison), Shaun (Sephera Dandurand), and Meredith Molyneux. They were blessed with three grandsons: Jack, Patrick, and Finn Molyneux.In honor of her grandmother, Lillian Roly, Cheryl decided to become a nurse and graduated from Saint Raphael’s School of Nursing in 1976. She worked for 45 years as a registered nurse, retiring in August 2017. Cheryl and Harry were able to mark off their bucket list with trips to Alaska, Europe, and Hawaii as well as many other destinations. Cheryl enjoyed being with her family whether it was taking a boat ride in LI sound, celebrating her birthday by watching 4th of July fireworks, fishing off Montauk, vacations to Disneyworld, Myrtle Beach, and Hilton Head, spending time with her children and grandsons or just a Sunday dinner with extended family. She loved to scrapbook and captured all those wonderful memories over the years for us to cherish. She is survived by her two sisters, Susan Molyneux, and Tricia (Fred) March, a brother, Russell Roly II, two sisters-in-law, Maryrose (Phil) Palumbo, and Kate Molyneux, and many nieces and nephews.

He later retired from Schick and the Teamsters Local 443. After his retirement Hugh worked for Also Cornerstone and was a certified Tips Trainer. Hugh was on The Board of Directors for Seminole Point Hospital in New Hampshire. Hugh was co-founder and past president of the Milford Prevention Council. Last year, Hugh celebrated 46 years of sobriety and was an instrumental part in many others journeys. His most proud accomplishment in life was being a father and grandfather. His favorite pastime was watching his grandchildren play hockey.

She is survived by her daughter Anita Mueller (Carl), sons, Raymond Barnabei, Frank Barnabei (Laurie), 5 grandchildren (Sarah, Michael, Alex, Stephanie and Taryn), 1 great grandson (James), 3 step grandchildren (Frank, Michael, and Jessica) and 1 step grandson (Vincent). She is survived by several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

Theresa (Terry/Tessie) was raised in West Haven, CT. and after marrying the love of her life “Chick” they moved to East Haven and then to Branford, CT where she lived until her retirement. She worked at IVY biomedical for 23 years and retired in 2010. She volunteered at the Branford Hospice and the AIDS program in the 1990’s.

Upon her retirement she moved to Wilton, CT to be closer to her daughter and lived at Wilton Commons for 12 years where she enjoyed her an active social life with a community of close friends.

As a family, enjoyed going to the Jersey Shore for summer vacations and to Moodus, CT. for family outings. Her most memorable times were her travels to Italy and Alaska.

She will be truly missed by her family and friends. She was a great listener and was often the person to go to for advice. Terry was passionate about her cooking, eating fine foods, traveling, and an avid fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.

Lou was born in New Haven on November 2,1956 son of the late Louis V. and Mary Assunto Savarese Sr. Lou loved watching his NY Giants and NY Mets, playing golf and spending time with the people he loved. While his daughters were growing up, he was the ultimate softball and dance dad doing any and everything for his girls. He lit up every room he walked into. He leaves behind his daughters Marissa (Roger) Pires and Monica (Dave) Jermine all of North Haven. His five grandchildren, Gianna, RJ, Luca, Anthony and Ella were his pride and joy. Son-in-law of Caterina Tarini of West Haven and the late Celso Tarini. He is also survived by many cousins who were like siblings. Lou was a 1974 graduate of Notre Dame High School in West Haven and the principles he learned guided his life. His love and dedication to baseball earned him captainship of the team his senior year. The school left him with friendships that are still in place 50 years later. Lou graduated from the University of South Florida in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts in marketing. After graduating college, Lou worked in his family’s restaurants where he spent 15 years entertaining and engaging with customers and friends, always comfortable on center stage. The next chapter of his career began with SNET and ended with Frontier in 2018, 23 years later. His energetic and fun-loving personality will be missed by all who knew him.

She was born April 17, 1935 to the late Anthony and Mildred Keating Frinton. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Michel, and brothers Anthony “Gerry”, Robert and Joseph Frinton. A caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Jane is survived by her daughter, Sallyanne and husband Neil Martino (West Haven, CT), her grandson, David Norton Jr (San Diego, CA), her sister Patricia and husband Kevin Ryan (Guilford, CT), and numerous relatives and close friends. Jane raised her family in West Islip, NY while she also served as the Office Manager for Family Medical Practice Group for over 20 years. In 1986, she joined her daughter in Florida and relocated to St. Lucie Falls, Stuart, FL. During her 40 years there, she had many special friendships and led an active social life. She established another career as the Office Manager for Dr. Kaiser Dermatology Group and worked there for 25+ years. After retiring, she wanted to give back to the community and volunteered several days a week at Martin Memorial Hospital offering comfort to patients and at House of Hope, a non-profit agency that provides food, clothing, furniture, financial services and life skills to those in need. Throughout her life, Jane enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. But Lake George, NY, held a very special place in her heart. Her fondness for Lake George began at a very young age and she instilled that love to others. She and her family treasured the special memories created at their summer cottage, known by family and friends as DiBoJaMa. Her last several months were spent in Connecticut to be closer to her daughter and sister where they were all able to enjoy the holidays and family gatherings together. We’re grateful for the care she received at Maplewood in Orange, by the staff of CT Hospice and especially the loving care provided by Sahara from the Visiting Angels of Woodbridge.

He also had a passion for early baseball from the 19th century and was a vintage baseball player for many years. He started a business with Paula over 20 years custom making both Civil War uniforms and vintage baseball uniforms shipping them both nationally and internationally. When it was time to relax, he could be found hanging out with his beloved dog, Paisley Mae.

He was 84 years old. Born on March 14, 1939 in New Haven. He was the son of the late Harold and Phyllis (Latella) DeChello. He attended West Haven Public Schools. He worked at the New Haven, New York and Hartford Railroad, which later became the Metro North Railroad where he retired after 30 years in 2001 and was a member of IBEW during that time.

Richard was married to Marie (Candido) DeChello of West Haven in 1960. He is survived by his 3 children Gary (Karen) DeChello of Englewood FL; Lisa (Roger) DeChello Lutz of Woodbridge, CT; Gina DeChello of West Haven. Four granddaughters, Angela Nielsen of Hamden, CT; Christy DeChello of West Haven, Ashley DeChello of Enterprise AL, and Kelly DeChello of Hamden, CT. Two great grandsons, Jaxson and Jaymeson Nielsen. Richard had many interests which included boating/fishing (West Haven Yacht Club), and trap shooting where he was a member at several gun clubs. In 1979 Rich became an instructor at Remington at Lordship in Stratford CT teaching the basics of shooting to hundreds of people from all over the US. During his career in trapshooting Richard has earned many awards and trophy’s. In 1999 he was honored by being inducted into the National Trap-shooters hall of fame as final proof of his professionalism and expertise in the sport. He was also a lifelong member of the NRA

Additionally he was also a fan of the UCONN Girls Basketball team and Red Sox Baseball team as well as an avid reader of Sci-fi and fantasy books. His family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Yale East Pavilion 4-6 for their exceptional care and compassion.

His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 830 Jones Hill Rd., West Haven Monday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. John the XXIII Parish at St. John Vianney Church, 300 Capt. Thomas Blvd. West Haven at 10:00. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. Family and friends may call SUNDAY from 4:00-7:00 PM.
