Obituary Preview: In loving memory of John “Jack” G. Belli of Bedminster Twp., who passed away on Friday May 10, 2024. He was 69 years old. He was the husband of Shelley L. (Deming) Belli. Together they shared 36 wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Sellersville, PA., Jack was the son of the late John F. and Sonia G. (Slotter) Belli. Jack had attended Pennridge High School and graduated class of 1972.
Jack was self-employed throughout his life and had owned and operated the local Oink Johnson’s Southern BBQ food truck and trailer since 2006. His interest in soul food was shared with the community at events across the county and on his family farm, loved by countless regulars over the years. He co-owned Jacks Dog Farm, as well as the 611-coal yard in the late 70s through the early 80s.
In his earlier years, Jack enjoyed camping trips with his family. He was a great dancer and liked music. Later in life, he loved to play golf with his sons, as well as shooting pool, and cooking to serve others. He appreciated the pleasant simplicities living on his farm had to offer, such as caring for the farm animals each day, raising crops each year, and watching his yellow Labrador Retriever, Carly, run freely throughout the farmland. Additionally, Jack was a proud patriot and an avid military supporter. Above all, he was most proud of his three children, and was the most loving grandpa.
In addition to his wife, Jack will be deeply missed by his children, John D., Sonia L. Belli-Voorhees, and Samuel T. Sr., (Veronica). He was the brother of Valerie Belli (Lyle Damper) and Jeremy Belli. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Giovanni M., Isabella R. Voorhees, Samuel T. Jr., Everett A., Macie L., and Austin J. Belli. He touched the lives of many people, and will be remembered in all our hearts forever.
A visitation for Jack will be held on Tuesday May 21, 2024 9:30am - 11:00am with the service to follow at the Shelly Funeral Home in Plumsteadville.

Bob was the husband of the late Rose (DeLeo) West.
Born in Philadelphia, Bob was the son of the late Richard and Thelma (Lissau) West.
Bob had attended Northeast High School in Philadelphia. He had become a Philadelphia Fireman, and had served the City of Philadelphia for over 20 years. He had been assigned to Engine 55 Ladder 22. Bob had retired in 1992. In his retirement Bob enjoyed going to the casinos and spending time with family. He was most proud of his grandchildren and will be remembered for his sense of humor and many fireman stories Bob is survived by his by 2 daughters, Tracy Glasgow (Tony) and Melissa Schad (Mike), 4 grandchildren, Brittany, Robby, Rachel, and Regan, 2 great grandchildren, Logan and Salem. Bob was preceded in death by a granddaughter Jessica and a brother Richard and sister Jane

Phyllis E. Lupinacci - August 11, 1929 - April 08, 2024

Obituary Preview: Phyllis (Filomena) Elaine Lupinacci, of Pipersville, passed away peacefully on April 8th surrounded by her adoring family. She was 94 years old.
Born in Philadelphia on August 11th, 1929, Phyllis was the daughter of Selma and Dominic Palumbo. Phyllis and her husband, the late Robert James Lupinacci, were married on November 23, 1946. A favorite pastime of theirs was riding motorcycles. Together, they had two children – the late Dominic Robert Lupinacci and Lisa Lupinacci-Reid. The family moved to Bucks County, Pennsylvania in 1969.
Phyllis was a very hard worker from a young age holding jobs as a phone operator at Sears and a crossing guard, before pursuing her license to become a school bus driver. She had a lasting impact on hundreds of students during her 24-year career as a school bus driver, 21 of which she spent working for the Central Bucks School District. Despite her love for her students, Phyllis’s favorite and most meaningful role in life was as mother to Nick and Lisa.
Phyllis will be dearly missed by her daughter Lisa, along with her family, husband Jeffrey Reid, their three daughters Meaghan Reid, Alyse Reid (fiancé Kyle Veit), and Christine DeSantis (husband Nathan) as well as Christine’s children, Phyllis’s great-grandchildren, Olivia, Sophia, and Amelia.
Phyllis is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Jean Lupinacci, her grandchildren, Melanie Hegen (husband Scott) and Dominic R. Lupinacci, Jr. (wife Dana), as well as her great-grandchildren, Emily Hegen, Kylea Hegen, and Dominic R. Lupinacci III. Phyllis will also be lovingly survived by her sister, Marianne DiMartino and her family.
Phyllis was known for her “jazzy” style, always sporting the latest fashions, her love for all things purple, pizzelles, and making sure her family was well fed. Above all, Phyllis wanted to be remembered as someone who really loved and cared about her family. The pride and joy she felt as Nanie and G.G. was undeniable, she often said her grandchildren and great-grandchildren really made life worthwhile. Her loving legacy will live on through her family for generations to come.
A Mass in Phyllis’s name will be celebrated on Friday April 19, 2024 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, PA 18902. Family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of Mass. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

She was employed as Vice President of Delta Market Research, where she had retired in 2003.
She will be most remembered for the love she had for her family and beloved pets over the years.
In addition to her husband, Ron, she is survived by her children: Daniel, Randy and Lonny Hamilton & Charles and Ronald Keim.
She was predeceased by her son, Brian L. Keim.
She was the sister of Phylis Gelsebach & Larry Haines.
The family will hold a private visitation and burial.

Jeffery Byron Hamilton - January 16, 1953 - April 01, 2024

Obituary Preview: In loving memory of Jeffery Byron Hamilton, who passed away surrounded by family on Monday, April 1, 2024, at Doylestown Hospital at the age of 71.
Jeff was born the son of the late Harold and Ruth Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold and Mark.
In 1971, Jeff graduated from Central Bucks West HS, marking the beginning of a life dedicated to hard work and commitment. He embarked on a career with A&P, where he rose through the ranks until retirement, leaving behind a legacy of diligence and dedication.
Jeff had an undeniable passion for photography, capturing moments that would forever be treasured. Doylestown held a special place in his heart, with its charm and history resonating deeply within him. As a proud member of the Bucks County Historical Society, he contributed to preserving the rich tapestry of his community's past.
Those left to cherish and honor his memory include sisters-in-law Mary Jane Hamilton of North Carolina and SaraJane Hamilton of Pennsylvania.
He was also the loving uncle of Eric Hamilton (Robin) and Elizabeth Harrington (Byron) of North Carolina. Kaitlyn Gilbert (Bobby) of Pennsylvania , and Matthew Hamilton of Massachusetts. In addition to his nephews and nieces, Jeff is survived by many great nephews and nieces: Alyssa Miller (Cody), Ashley Barr (Matt), and Kyleigh Hamilton of North Carolina Hannah, Eli, Isaiah Harrington of North Carolina Lorelai and Karlie Gilbert of Pennsylvania
He was truly an uncle to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 5th, 2024, at 10:00 AM, followed by a celebration of his life at 11:00 AM, at the Shelly Funeral Home, Easton and Keller’s Church Roads, Plumsteadville.
Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery. Obituary Preview: Kathleen D. Nerz, of Plumstead Twp., passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home. She was 74. Kathy was the loving wife of Joseph E. Nerz. The couple would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary this year.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Owen Earl and Doris. Kathy had a career as a registered nurse. She worked for Doylestown Hospital as a labor and delivery nurse. After working at the hospital, she worked for two large insurance companies as a nurse case manager for out of country and complex organ transplant patients before she retired.
Kathy was a parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Buckingham. She was active as a cantor, member of the guitar group and Guardians of Guadalupe. Kathy had a lifelong love of music, she played the violin, guitar and handbells and sang with the Bucks County Choral Society. In her free time, Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family, walking, biking, camping and traveling. Kathy was a Penn State fan and an animal lover.
Kathy will be deeply missed by her husband, Joseph Nerz; her three daughters, Rachel Hammond (Martin), Alison Wilson (Dennis), Lauren Kopelow (Ryan); three grandchildren, Connor, Melanie, Trevor; and her sister, Janet Iannucci (David).
Services for Kathy will be held on Friday March 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, PA 18902. Her family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass. There will be a reception that follows at noon in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Life Center, which adjoins the church.

Chuck was born in Bethlehem, PA., and was the son of the late Charles and Kathryn (Holley) Reiman.
Chuck served in the USMC from 1973-1977.
Chuck was a graduate of Saucon Valley High School, Class of 1971. Chuck had been employed as Vice President of Wehrung’s Lumber and Home Center. Chuck had worked at Wehrung’s for 30 years.
Chuck enjoyed fishing, hunting, and sitting out on the patio at home with his dogs, Jake and Ollie. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and watching their plays, dance recitals, football games and softball games, and was proud of the accomplishments of his three kids.
Chuck will be remembered for his leadership, strength, and his kindness towards others.
In addition to his wife Debra; Chuck is survived by his children; Dane Reiman (Kristy), Brittany Froehlich (Dan), and Jaclyn Reiman. Chuck was the brother of Dennis Reiman and Jim Reiman (Dawn). He was the grandfather of Rowan, Danny, Olivia Froehlich, and Brielle, Paige, Dane and Everly Reiman.

Bill is survived by his children; Michael Madison (Denise), Mandy (Jimmy), Mallory (Kevin). He was the grandfather of Hunter, Maireade, Logan, Peyton, Gaige, Makynleigh, Landon, Maddie, Nick, Lilly, Max and twin boys due in May. Obituary Preview: Joan M. Vanselous, of Jamison, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Bridges at Warwick. She was 89.
Joan was the loving wife of the late Leroy Vanselous, who passed away in 2009.
Born in White Plains, NY, she was the daughter of the late Adolph B. and Grace Kindervatter.
After graduating high school, Joan pursued a degree in Art from Beaver College (now known as Arcadia University).
In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, golfing, kayaking, riding with her husband, and later her daughter, on motorcycles. She was always up for any adventure with her husband, and in later years with her granddaughter on their many escapades. But her true life-long passion was art, specifically painting. She was an accomplished watercolor artist and shared much of her artwork with her family and friends.
Joan will be deeply missed by her son, Brad Vanselous (Marianne); two daughters, Beverly Adamczyk (Jim), Barbara Mistic (Jim Litka); her grandchildren, Julia Marie Linde, Kevin Vanselous (Hitomi); and her great grandson, Kai.
A celebration of Joan’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday February 2, 2024 at Shelly Funeral Home, 5930 Easton Road (corner of Easton & Kellers Church Rds.), Plumsteadville, PA 18949. Corey David Taylor - October 26, 1965 - January 18, 2024

Obituary Preview: Corey David Taylor, 58, of Upper Black Eddy, passed away peacefully with family at his side on Thursday, January 18th, 2024, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Corey was known for his intelligence, strong opinions, sense of humor, and love of entertaining. Corey was a devoted husband, beloved son, brother, family member, and friend. He loved good food, music, Philadelphia sports, science and the hokeyness of the original Star Trek series. He was born in Chicopee, MA on October 26th, 1965 to Carol Anne (Breen) Taylor and Ron Taylor.
Corey graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Delaware Valley University in Doylestown. He worked for BP Castrol for 27 years as a development chemist and expert technologist.
Corey and Mary shared 33 years of marriage on October 27th. The two often finished each other's sentences and would share inside jokes using quotes from their favorite television shows and movies. Corey loved animals, especially his cats, Boots, Butters, and Ike; his dogs Kaine, Lazlo, and his late best boy Archer. We believe Archer greeted Corey and they are together again. In addition, Corey loved his two African Grey Parrots, Tweety and Marcel, who often danced, screeched, and fluffed their feathers for his attention.
Corey was ever the influential Uncle who stepped up to help his nieces and nephews in times of need while also being at the ready to enjoy a football game and provide education on what constitutes “good” music and had other “valuable” advice at the ready.
Corey will always be remembered as the epitome of the gracious host, where he and his wife, Mary, opened their homes to welcome friends and family. Corey had a lifelong love for music and was a talented musician in his own right as a drummer. His love of science, music, and art merged with his love for creating beautiful custom-made tube amplifiers. He created other works of art using resin and wood, often from found pieces of driftwood or other found pieces in nature.
Corey is survived by his wife, Mary F (Rouse) Taylor; his parents, Ron and Carol Taylor; two sisters, Caronne Taylor Bloom (wife of Roger Bloom, mother of Jake and Morgan Bloom), Carissa (Taylor) Bruno (wife of Peter Bruno and mother of Julianna and Nicholas Buno).
A celebration of Corey's life will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Shelly Funeral Home, Easton & Kellers Church Rds., Plumsteadville, PA 18949. The service will be livestreamed His family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Immediately following the service, the family would like to extend an invitation for all to join them for a luncheon.

Norma was the daughter of the late Oscar and Martha States and the loving wife of the late William P Crossland, who preceded her in death in Feb. of 2010. She was the devoted mother to William P Crossland Jr., Gary M. Crossland (Patricia), Bonnie Moyer (Randy), and Dennis Crossland (Inta). She was also grandmother to nine grandchildren, Stacey Kratz (Brian), Alicia Crossland, Ashley Crossland, Kelley Crossland, Jason Moyer (Julie), Jeremey Moyer (Shannon), Josh Moyer (Courtney), Kyle Crossland (Kelsey), and Ryan Crossland. She was also a great grandmother to 8 great grandchildren, Maverick, Avery, Toryn M., Kieran, Chase, Ava, Evelyn and Toryn C.
She was born in Sanston VA on August 1, 1925, and migrated with her family to Runnemede NJ, before settling their roots in Pineville, Bucks County PA. That is where she met, married and started a family with William P Crossland. She along with her husband founded and operated William P Crossland & Sons paving and Norbill Disposal Service for over 60+ years. Norma had a very good sense of humor and never hesitated to drop a one liner zingers here and there. She enjoyed being a mother/grandmother, running the family business, cooking and baking, hosting family occasions/picnics, her afternoon soap operas (General Hospital), musicals, and travelling with her husband. She had a fond love for all animals and she and Bill always had family pets. Norma and Bill had a very profound effect on the less fortunate and those that needed life guidance. She was adored and loved by many and will be deeply missed.
A viewing will be held at Our Lady of Sacred Heart church in Hilltown, PA on Friday Jan. 26th, 2024 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM followed by a mass. Interment will follow the church service at Our Lady Of Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Robert S. Erbrick - December 29, 1955 - January 06, 2024

Obituary Preview: Robert S. Erbrick, affectionately known as "Bob," passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the age of 68.
Born in Jenkintown, PA, he was the beloved son of the late Joseph E. and Isabelle (Jones) Erbrick. He graduated from Jenkintown High School, Class of 1973, and later earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University, where he proudly became a member of the Phi Kappa Theta fraternity.
Bob, a true entrepreneur, co-founded a manufacturing business alongside his brother Joe, and recently celebrated+ its 50th anniversary. Bob's inventive spirit resulted in multiple patents, and his tools contributed to space exploration, supporting NASA's missions.
As a dedicated member of Phi Kappa Theta, Bob formed enduring bonds with his fraternity brothers, often enjoying their camaraderie on the golf course.
Bob found immense joy in spending time with his children, friends, and family. He embraced the outdoors, with a passion for gardening, summers at the beach in Ocean City, New Jersey, and caring for his farm in Tinicum. An avid skier, he conquered some of the world's finest mountains alongside the Wissahickon Ski Club. Bob took great pride in his children's accomplishments in Pennsylvania and Scotland.
Known for his kindness, generosity, and witty "Bob-isms," he leaves behind a legacy of warmth and intelligence. Bob is survived by his loving children, Stephen (Abigail) Erbrick and Jill Dries, as well as his cherished grandson, Everett Dries. He is also survived by his brothers Joseph E. (Donna) and William D. (Rana) Erbrick.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Bob's remarkable life will be held at 11:00 am on January 19, 2024, at the Shelly Funeral Home on Easton and Keller’s Church Road. Friends are invited to pay their respects starting from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will be held privately.

Dina Practiced veterinary medicine for 50 years. For most of those years, Dina had a private practice in Chalfont, PA. She was a beloved and cherished member of the community.

Wendy was the loving wife of Carl P. Koefoed. The couple spent 30 wonderful years together.
Born in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Betty Ballard.
Wendy was a talented artist. She loved playing the guitar and caring for animals. She enjoyed traveling to exotic places and collecting arts and crafts with her husband.

Obituary Preview: Dillon Charles Powles, 21, passed away on Tuesday December 26, 2023. Dillon was born in Doylestown, PA on December 11, 2002, celebrating his 21st birthday just 15 days earlier. He was the beloved son of John Charles and Leathia Lynn (Hayes) Powles, of Bedminster Township, PA, and is survived by the love of his life, Tori Beth Mayfield, of Bedminster Township, PA. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda C. Hayes, and is survived by his grandfather, William D. Hayes, both of Lakeland FL, and grandparents David and Kathy Stevens of Pipersville, PA, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by many branded brothers of the Pennridge Rams football team.
Dillon was a graduate of Pennridge High School, Class of 2021, where he was a badass Running Back of the Pennridge Rams football team (#32). He had played youth football for Bux-Mont and played various positions for the Green Jackets (#12).
Dillon worked as an excavator for Robert Froman Excavating after high school graduation. Dillon had recently completed CDL Truck Driver Training at North Montgomery Technical Career Center and received his CDL license. He had aspirations to be the owner of his own business one day.
Dillon enjoyed racing snow mobiles, snocross, quads, and dirt bikes. Dillon’s famous race number was 747, which was his favorite number. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, alligator chasing, working on his truck in which he was proud of, football, spending time with his girlfriend, Tori, and relaxing by the bonfire with his buddies.
Dillon will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his laugh, his smirk, his eyes, his goofy way, and how loving he was—he was truly his brothers’ keeper to all his friends.
Dillon will also be missed by his teammates and many friends, too large of a list to name all. Most notably he will be missed by his beloved best friends, Tyler Fuchs and Ryan Kirkwood.

James Frederick Ellstrom - March 14, 1938 - December 17, 2023

Obituary Preview: James (Jim, King James) F. Ellstrom, age 85, passed away at Wesley Enhanced Living on December 17, 2023. This was the result of several strokes over the past few years.
Jim began his working career at the Sun Telegraph, a Pittsburgh, PA newspaper. By the end of 1957 Jim had relocated to Philadelphia, PA and was employed in the advertising department of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
1960 found Jim working at Furness Shipping and Cruise Line in New York City. This was when Jim first fell in love with travel. “Away We Go,” was Jim’s first travel agency and he opened it in 1967 on Long Island in New York. By 1975 Jim had opened another travel firm back in New York City. This one was located on the 99th floor of the World Trade Center and he was there for 10 years before relocating to Nassau Steet in NYC.
At the same time Jim was managing his travel agency he was also studying at the Institute of Certified Travel Agents. He received his Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) certificate in 1981.
His love of travel took Jim to six of the seven continents in the world. One of his favorite trips was his speedy flight on the Concord in 1978, New York to London in less than three hours. After selling his travel agency at age 55, Jim retired to his home in Bucks County. He needed to be busy and stay close to the travel business, so he worked at a friend’s travel agency part time in New Hope, PA
In his spare time Jim was an avid Impressionist painter. He mostly painted scenes that were ‘en plein air’ (in open air). His landscapes were ones he actually visited and painted right there. Jim also enjoyed and found relaxation in gardening.
As an Elder in his church and member of the Consistory, Jim was a very active participant, supporting the church in fund raisers and many activities.
Always a true gentleman, Jim was well known for his courteous manners and generous nature. In the last years of his life Jim enjoyed the friendly staff at Wesley, where he participated in many of their activities with his new friends.
Jim is survived by his sister Margaret (Margie) A. Ellstrom of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also survived by several cousins and many, many friends. Jim was preceded in death by his life partner of 55 years, John W. Hulbert, and his parents, Oscar and Cecilia Ellstrom Jr.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at 11 A M, Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Tinicum United Church of Christ, 310 E. Dark Hollow Road, Pipersville, PA 18947 following visitation at 10:00 AM. Jim’s ashes will be buried privately. Memorial donations may be sent to Tinicum United Church of Christ at the above address.

He loved classic muscle cars, especially Chevy Chevelles. He also enjoyed watching the Eagles and Phillies. He was a devout Catholic and loved music from the 60's and 70's. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and spending time with his wife.
In addition to his wife Vicki, Denis will be deeply missed by his sons, Michael Lyszkowski (Lauren), Brian Lyszkowski; a grandson, Chase; and a sister, Susan Tanzler. Denis will also be missed by his nephew and nieces. He will also be missed by many of his cousins, many of which he cherished close childhood relationships.
In addition to his parents, Denis was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lyszkowski; and sister, Ellen Lyszkowski.

​Bill was the loving husband of Grace E. Neff. The couple celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary this past July.
​Born in Bedminster, he was a son of the late George and Miriam Neff.
​Bill was member of North Ridge Bible Chapel in Sellersville, where he preached and led the singing on occasion. Bill also preached and led the singing at a campground in upper Bucks County on Sundays during the summer for many years.
​Bill graduated from Pennridge High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country in Okinawa during the Korean War.
​After being honorably discharged from the Army, Bill worked as an appliance repairman and eventually opened and operated his own appliance repair business, “Bill Neff Appliance Service”. He was well known in the Upper Bucks community as “Mr. Fixit” and a “jokester”. Bill was quick-witted and always had a joke to tell.
​In his free time, Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing, drawing birds and other wildlife with colored pencils and chalks, and photography. His greatest enjoyment in life came from spending time with his family.
​In addition to his wife, Grace, Bill will be deeply missed by his children, Darrel Neff (Elizabeth), Colette Johnson (Eric), Lowell Neff (Gloria); 6 grandchildren, Kaleb Neff, Molly Cushing (Patrick), Zachery Neff, Ryan Burke, Matthew Burke, Grace Neff; 1 great granddaughter, Hartlynn Cushing; and 2 sisters, Betty Vanderlely and MaryAnn Bodder.

In his free time Rob enjoyed spending time with his two grandsons, all things LBI, truck and car shows, flea markets and spending time with his big blended family.
He was proud of working hard for the big boy toys he wanted most. He also enjoyed being a classic “no tech” kinda guy.
Rob will be remembered for being a wonderful and kind person who was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Beloved son to Connie Noreika. Brother to Stanley S. Noreika, Barry D. Noreika (Maryann), Kathleen Snyder, Cynthia Noreika, Sandra Sheedy (Joe), Andrew Springer, and Arlene Springer.
His two sons Robert Andrew Reno and Timothy Nathaniel Reno (Shana).
Grandchildren: Lucas Reno, Liam Reno and soon to be born baby girl Reno.
Nieces and nephews include Celeste Clover, Andrew Springer, Jr., Mathew (Tammy) Springer, Laura Shaw (Mike), Angela Schuyler (Phil), Tara Leitz (Michael), Tara Noreika, and Christina Wagner.

Born in Quinton, New Jersey in 1925, he was a son of Mary Catheryn and Clement Edgar Garrison. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Barbara Ann Geiger and a brother William Edward Garrison. He is survived by his nieces Carol Liane Lehning, Bonnie deCourt, Barbara Kanoy, Kim Faust and nephews Bill Garrison and John Geiger.
Ted was inducted into the United States Army Infantry in 1944. He served as an instructor in riflery and was honorably discharged in 1947.
Ted studied art at the Newark Academy of Art, Pratt Institute, and The Art Students League. His realistic figurative oil paintings were frequently included in exhibitions and he pursued his passion for painting throughout his life.
From 1951 until 1968, Ted and Dick Van Duzer, his partner for 58 years, owned and operated their flower shop in New York City. In 1968, they relocated to Holland Township, New Jersey and founded The Valley Florist in Frenchtown. They moved to Tinicum Township in 1980 where they cultivated picturesque gardens amid the bucolic landscape of their property. They enjoyed sharing their gardens with horticulturists, garden clubs and other gardening enthusiasts.
Ted’s other interests included the ballet, classical music and the opera. His family and friends remember his dry wit, his aesthetic sensibility, and remain grateful for his generosity and friendship.

The family moved to a farm in Dresher where he attended a two-room schoolhouse and enjoyed life in the country.  Other moves brought the family to Elkins Park and then Glenside, PA.  He graduated from Abington High School and went on to receive a degree in education from Shippensburg State Teachers College (now Shippensburg University). Wendell taught Social Studies at Springfield High School, Montgomery County. In 1970, he received a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Trenton State College and became a guidance counselor at William
Tennent High School where he remained until he retired in 1995. Wendell married Joan Smith in 1963 and they would have celebrated 60 years of
marriage in December. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Bill, sister Betsy Swartzbeck, and brother-in-law Warren. His older brother, Carl F Will and wife Diane, live in New
Orleans, and his sister-in-law Wanda resides in Philadelphia. He is survived by his wife, three children (Wendy Keefer, Eric Will, and Amy Borkert (Neal)) and seven grandchildren: Layton, Logan, Natalie, Katie, Connor, Kiersten and Kyle. They gave him so much pleasure watching their many activities.   He is also
survived by many nieces and nephews whom he loved. Wendell loved living in his old stone farmhouse where he raised sheep, had a pony, geese, and dogs and cats.  He enjoyed using his John Deere Tractor and sailing in his Catboat on Lake Nockamixon. His passion was always cars and he had 2 antique
classic cars which he loved to drive on the back roads of Bucks County.
