Kathy received her education in Hawthorne through the Alachua County Public School District. She dedicated many years to working with the School Board of Alachua County and eventually retired after more than two decades of service with the University of Florida Housing Division. Kathy found a place to worship her Lord and Savior at Mt. Zion AME Church in her home town.
Kathy departed this life on Sunday, April 14, 2024 after battling a brief illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Rodney Munnerlyn and four siblings, Georgia Mae Munnerlyn, Mary Helen Munnerlyn, Francis Munnerlyn and Fred Munnerlyn.
Her life will continue in the hearts of her loved ones. He was baptized and joined Abilene Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He began his Truck Driving career in 1976 and went on until 2012 when he fell ill. He had a special love for going fishing and working on his old 1979 Ford Truck.

Edgar was born on January 5, 1936, to Arthur Randolph Pelham and Annie Mae Pelham in Melrose, Florida. He graduated from Central Academy High School (Palatka, Florida) in 1954. Edgar enlisted in the U.S. Army on August 8, 1955, serving his country honorably and faithfully for well over 20 years. He retired on June 30, 1981, at the rank Staff Sergeant. Edgar later held positions at Lee State Prison in Leesburg, GA and Turner Job Corps in Albany, GA. Edgar retired from Aspire Behavioral Health & Developmental Services (Albany, GA) in 1999.
On July 12, 1962, Edgar married the love of his life, Mrs. Ruby Lee Williams-Pelham. They were married for 38 years until the Lord called her home on October 31, 2000. Edgar was a member of Cutliff Grove Baptist Church and later Christ Harvest Missionary Baptist Church until his health began to fail.

Sister Mosley was educated in the Bradford County Public Schools (Pleasant Grove Community). She worked as a homemaker for numerous families in the area. She loved her pets, working on crossword puzzels, watching her favorite television shows and enjoyed baking sweet potatoe pies for family and friends. She was a woman of strong character and great independence. She was not afraid of anyone. But more than anything, we will remember her as a loyal and generous soul. No matter how hard life was, she was always willing to share what she had with others and loved to express her FAITH, joy and passion for GOD with the gospel songs she loved to sing. A Time To Serve
Sister Mosley was a dedicated member of Greater Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church for over seventy years, where she served on the Usher Board #1 and attended weekly services faithfully. A Time To Mourn

Mother Bessie Lee Chisholm answered the call of God in the comfort of her home on January 18, 2024 at 2:00 AM in the morning.
Mother Chisholm was born on April 29, 1928 to the late Frank Ray, Sr. and the late Mattie Lee Ray in Johnson Crossroads.
Even though she was born and raised in West Putnam County, she attended and graduated high school in Alachua County from Shell Senior High School in Hawthorne, FL on April 15, 1945. In her early teen years, Bessie moved to New York where she met her husband of 37years, Samuel Chisholm.
In 1989, after living in New York for more than 60 years, Bessie and her husband returned home to Florida where she lived her remaining years with her family and friends.
Mother Chisholm was a member of the Trinity United Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Clarence Woods.
She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite pastimes were fishing and playing cards.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Frank and Mattie Ray, Sr.; three siblings, Mildred Mason, Ruth Walker, and Frank Ray, Jr. and a special niece, Barbara Ray Santiago. Larry Delma Hamilton was born on August 6, 1957 to the late Raymond and Gussie Mae Hamilton. On Friday, August 18, 2023 at Haven Hospice in Palatka, Florida, Larry peacefully accepted the perfect will of God.
He began his education at Oak Grove Elementary School in Johnson Crossroads and later graduated in 1975 at Interlachen High School in Interlachen, FL. He was known for always helping others. Prior to his sickness, Larry always took care of his mother and took great pride in taking care of her and her plants and flowers. Larry loved his family and close friends. He will truly be missed by many.
Larry accepted Christ at an early age and was a very active member of Trinity United Missionary Baptist Church. He served as Superintendent of the Sunday School Ministry, member of the Usher Board Ministry, member of the Youth/Young Adult Choir, and member of the Sound Group Ministry. In addition to Trinity, Larry also sang in the Second Bethlehem Baptist Association Choir and would always bring his mother to district events.
He was employed at the University of Florida for 40 years and was the Supervisor over custodial services. He later retired in 2015. He continued to work for Campus Credit Union for many years until his mom took ill and he cared for her full-time.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Gussie Mae Hamilton, sister, Constance Jacobs, one aunt, Gracie Mae Swain Herring, and three uncles, James Swain, Burdell Strickland, and Amos Strickland.
