Obituary Preview: Dolores M. (Fessler) Matte, 98, of Manitowoc, surrounded by her loving family, was called home by God on April 19th, 2022.
Dolores was born August 18th, 1923, in Manitowoc, to August and Emma (Klein) Fessler.   She married Arnold Matte on May 25th, 1946, at St. Joseph’s Church in Manitowoc.  She worked for many years in the kitchen at Park Lawn Nursing home until her retirement in 1986.  Dolores was a devout Catholic and loved God the father, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, and the Communion of Saints.  She was a member of St. Joseph’s Alverno in her younger years and has been a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Manitowoc for 76 years.  Dolores loved gardening, baking, spending time with her grandchildren, and taking loving care of her family.   She enjoyed the many wonderful visits from her special niece Diann Wimmer Kane over the years.
Survivors included three sons and daughters-in-law; Alan (Tammy) Matte of Reedsville, Francis ‘Frank’ (Gail) Matte of Reedsville, John (Sue) Matte of Manitowoc; and one daughter and son-in-law  MaryClare (Peter) Pankratz of Minneapolis MN.  She has five grandchildren, Vicki (Marvin) Dahm of Milwaukee; Christopher (Nicole) Matte of Plymouth; Jennifer (Jeff) Ulmer of Siloam Springs AR; Alicia Pankratz of Minneapolis MN; Ericia (Pankratz) Sahr of Minneapolis MN.  She has six Great-Grandchildren, Ashley Brooks, Crystal Matte-Oestreich; Jason Sahr of Minneapolis, Lily Matte of Plymouth; Emma Ulmer of Siloam Springs AR; and Aaron Vilasek-Sahr of Minneapolis.  She has five Great-Great Grandchildren. one sister-in-law Margo (Matte) Perrodin of Tripoli.  Special niece and nephew-in-law Diann Wimmer Kane and Alan Kane and many other nieces and nephews.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Matte, who passed in December 1985.  one son and daughter-in-law Robert ‘Bob” and Eileen Matte; one Grandson Anthony ‘Tony’ Matte; her parents August and Emma Fessler; two sisters and brothers-in-law Norma and Francis Trainor; Constance and Ray Wimmer Sr; one brother and sister-in-law Robert and Marie Fessler; Parents in-law Herbert and Frances Matte; two brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Orville and Marion Matte and Hillary ‘Bud’ Matte; one sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law Janice and Bruno Ambrose, and Art Perrodin.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (1114 S. 21st Street ).  Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Doug LeCaptain with burial to take place at St. Mary Cemetery, Manitowoc following the service.

Kenneth was born December 17, 1950, in Denver, CO, son of the late Bennie and Vada (Borrego) Cordova. He served as a Corpsman in the United States Navy, stationed at Treasure Island, CA. Kenneth worked in Cape Town, Africa, he loved visiting with his grandchildren, singing karaoke and traveling nationwide.
He is survived by five children: Bryon (Trish) Cordova, Todd Winborn, Tiffany Cordova, Sean (Amanda) Cordova, and Kendra Cordova; nine grandchildren: Brandon, Whitney, Cameron, Meriah, Joe, Emma, Chloe, Kaedon, and Kael; and great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th St., Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Alan Boeldt. Family and friends may call at the Funeral Home from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Betty Lou was born on September 6, 1930, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late William and Vlasta (Nespor) Bruechert. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School class of 1948. On September 2, 1950, she married Marvin Musial at St. Mary’s in Manitowoc, he preceded her in death December 28, 2013. Betty Lou enjoyed shopping, reading, decorating, sewing, crafting and most of all, the family get togethers.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law: Diana (Tom) Hartman, Manitowoc; Cynthia Musial (James Fintelmann), Howards Grove; and Nancy Musial (Steve Kanter), Manitowoc; three sons and daughters-in-law: David (Donna) Musial, Two Rivers; Charles (Barbara) Musial, Gulf Breeze, FL; and Todd (Tina) Musial, Two Rivers; eleven grand children: Amy (Jeff) Brunmeier, Kim (Chad) Kellner, Scott (Erin) Hartman, Christopher Hartman, Nicole (Paul) Masse, Drew (Courtney) Olson, Emily (Ryan) Nowak, Andra (Aaron) Erdmann, Josiah Musial, Talia Musial, and Grace Musial;  fifteen great grandchildren: Jason, Lindsey, Emma, Morgan, Olivia, Chase, Adelaide, Josephine, Matthew, Allison, Claire, Levi, Nadia, Declan, and Eliza; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Vlasta Bruechert; her husband: Marvin Musial; one infant son: Jeffrey; one grandson: Bradley “Bubba” Musial; three brothers: LeRoy, Robert, and Donald Bruechert; two sisters: Janet Bauer and Lois Bruechert.

Obituary Preview: Thomas A. Strauss, age 64, of Manitowoc passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center with his loving family at his side.
Tom was born on July 8, 1957, in Manitowoc, son of the late Francis and Lorraine (Holschbach) Strauss. He was a 1975 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. In 1975 he entered the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1979. On June 13, 1987, Tom was married to Mary E. Scheurell at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He was employed at Calvary Cemetery in Manitowoc for many years.
Tom was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, the Manitowoc Fraternal Order of Eagle’s #706, and AMVETS Post #99 of Manitowoc. He enjoyed hunting, walking in the woods, riding his ATV, and playing with his granddaughters.
Survivors include his wife: Mary Strauss; two daughters and sons-in-law: Mallory (Scott) Paquette, Brittany (Calvin) Curkeet; two granddaughters: Vanessa Paquette, Skylynn Curkeet, all of Manitowoc; one brother and sister-in-law: Timothy (Selina) Strauss, Manitowoc; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Lisa (Scott) Schweigl, Ann (Tom) Dishinger all of Manitowoc; Linda (Ronald) Lash, Athelstane; three sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Jeannie (Mark) Hougen, Margie (Tyler) Bowring, Karen (Karl) Pagels; mother-in-law: Marian Scheurell all of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends survive. Hildegarde Riederer Rebenack - April 06, 1921 - April 10, 2022

Obituary Preview: Hildegarde Riederer Rebenack, age 101, of Shady Lane, Manitowoc, died Sunday, April 10, 2022.
She was born on April 6, 1921, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Joseph M. and Rosa (Denor) Riederer. Hildegarde was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, class of 1939. As a junior at Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Hildegarde was elected to both National Honor Society and Quill and Scroll by the National Scholastic Press Association. As a senior, Hildegarde was the editor of Manitou, their literacy magazine, which was a recipient of the Pacemaker award, a top honor accorded to the best high school literary magazine published in the United States by the National Scholastic Press Associate.
After graduation, she worked for the Herald Times, Manitowoc Citizens Loan and Investment Co., and Manitowoc Shipbuilding Corp. In 1943, Hildegarde joined the Women’s Army Corps (WAC) and served with Headquarters 2nd Air Force in Colorado Springs, CO. and then in Headquarters Strategic Air Command in Washington DC. She received her honorable discharge December 23, 1945, with the rank of Sergeant.
On December 26, 1947, she married Robert James Rebenack at St. Mary Assumption Church in New Orleans, LA. He preceded her in death on February 23, 1991. She and Robert lived in the New Orleans area and was employed with J. Aron and Co. Inc. and its successor as Chief of International Communications. She was a member of the National Association of Greater New Orleans. She was also a founding member of the Advisory Board of the Alzheimer’s Care and Enrichment Daycare Program.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews: Michael (Ann) Riederer, Manitowoc; Dennis (Dayce) Riederer, Manitowoc; Jeanne (Jeff) Joseph, Hudson, WI; James (Joan) Riederer, Albany, NY; David Riederer, Fond du Lac; Thomas Riederer, FL; Ann Marie (Stephen) Wagner, Fond du Lac; Mary Sue Pressentin, TX; Paul (Carol) Riederer, Arlington Heights, IL; Nancy Riederer, Racine, WI; Sharon (Charles) Gleason, Omaha, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph M. and Rosa Riederer; her husband: Robert James Rebenack; a sister: Margaret and four brothers: Joseph (Caroline) Riederer, John Riederer, Leo (Anna Rose) Riederer, and Harold (Lori) Riederer and a nephew: Robert Riederer. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday April 20, 2022, at St. Francis of Assisi Grand Ave. site, 1416 Grand Ave, Manitowoc. The Rev. Jason Blahnik will celebrate the Mass of Christian burial. Relatives and friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 19,2022 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Obituary Preview: Yvonne Theresa Cichantek, 80, of Manitowoc passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc.
Yvonne was born on July 31, 1941, in Nadeau, MI to William and Helen Laurin. She was a graduate of Stephenson High School in Stephenson, MI. On October 21, 1961, she married Donald Cichantek in Nadeau, MI. Yvonne was a dedicated wife and mother, and also worked at Specialty, Chermake and Vans Liquor over the years.
Yvonne was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and dedicated her time volunteering at Peters Pantry and ringing the bell for the Salvation Army. Yvonne enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, canning, having a “cold one”, and cherished her time spent with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Yvonne is survived by her husband of 60 years: Don; her children: Jeff (Jeanne) Cichantek, Tina (Alan) Luedtke, Lori (Mark) Schisel, and Lisa (Jerry) Parma; grandchildren: Melissa (Paul) McKayla (Dusty), Caitlyn (Matt), Erin (Ross), Zach, Kyle (Vanessa), Colleen, Chloe (Cole), and Connor; great-grandchildren: Vada, Garrett, Lena and Emersyn; sisters: Sharon, Diane (Dick), Rose (Junior), and Bev (Jim); brothers: Brian (Debbie), and Mike (Roxanne); and sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Nancy, Helen, Fran and Ervin. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents: William and Helen Laurin; brothers and sister: Edwin, Steven, and Sandra; parents-in-law: Andrew and Ella Cichantek; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Pauline, Jeanette (Francis), LaVerne, Patsy (Jim), Bobby, and Dave.

Diane Mary Risch - March 30, 1953 - April 08, 2022

Obituary Preview: Diane Mary Risch (Johnson), age 69, of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 8, 2022.
Diane was born on March 30, 1953 in Manitowoc, daughter of Lillian Mae (Vernon) Lawerentz and the late Jim James Johnson. She graduated with the class of 1971 from Manitowoc Lincoln High School.
On May 31, 1975 Diane married Paul Tom Risch who recently passed on January 2, 2022 in Manitowoc.
Diane was an elementary teacher for over 25 years, teaching primarily within the Manitowoc Area Catholic School System, ultimately finding her home at Holy Innocents (now Roncalli Elementary) until she decided to move on to a new chapter of her life. She had incredible patience and love for a game a cribbage, even teaching her 4th graders for many years that the skill of counting and strategy was an important part of life. Her love for cooking was unmatched, with desserts being her specialty. She also enjoyed gardening, fishing, getting together with her friends for lunch, sharing stories of years gone by; especially during deer hunting season. Diane’s latest past time was keeping her beloved dog Chance close by her side until it was time for him to move on this past March.
Diane will be missed by many and forgotten by none.
Survivors include her two daughters and son: Nicole (Patrick) Sullivan, Oshkosh, Jeff (Nicole) Risch, Manitowoc, and Cassie (Tim Satterthwaite) Risch, Madison; nine grandchildren: Sophie (who tragically left us on Easter Morning of 2022) and Tristan Sullivan, Ethan, Ellisen, Eden, Emerson & Evyon Risch, Waylon and Emma Satterthwaite; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her sisters Sharon and Barb, and her brother David.

Betty J. Vogel - January 18, 1924 - April 06, 2022

Obituary Preview: Betty J. Vogel, age 98, a lifelong Manitowoc resident, passed away peacefully, on 4/6/2022, after a wonderful life with family and friends. Betty was born January 18, 1924, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Hugo C. and Edith (Gurlie) Menzel. She attended Lincoln High School and graduated with the class of 1942.  On August 13, 1947, she married Norbert J. Vogel at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary in 1997.  He preceded her in death on August 27, 2006
Betty was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and for a considerable number of years; and was the treasurer of the St. Mary’s Rosary Altar Society.  Upon consolidation, she became a member of the St Francis of Assisi Parish and the St. Clare Society.
She was employed by Schaus Roofing and Mechanical Contractors for her entire working career spanning 48 years, handling all office duties, until retiring in 1990.  She then joined the Manitowoc Senior Center doing knitting crocheting, needlepoint and cross stitch. For many years, she and her friends knitted hundreds of baby hats for newborn infants and all of the pictures that grace the walls in her home are signed “Homemade by Betty”. She was also a long-standing member of the Manitowoc County Historical Society/Pinecrest Historical Village.
To the end, she loved puzzle books, word searches and going to luncheons with friends she made over the years.
Survivors include two nephews: Charles (Beth) Menzel, Green Bay and Thomas Menzel and significant other, Jane Fass, Montello.  In laws, nephews: Dennis (Lana) Brunner, Manitowoc; Alan Brunner, Manitowoc; Kenneth Brunner, Whitelaw, David Siehr, Manitowoc, Thomas (Linda) Vogel, Kewaunee; Charles (Barb) Vogel, Manitowoc; Gary (Kathy) Wallander, Whitelaw; Doug (Cathy) Wallander, rural Chilton; Ron (Julie) Reimer, Whitelaw. Nieces: Cindy Siehr, Manitowoc; Sharon Vollendorf, Fond du Lac; Patricia Reimer, Two Rivers; Debbie (Mike) Peterson, Manitowoc: Wendy (Steve) Schuler, Manitowoc, Judith Vogel, Fond du Lac; Sandra Vogel, Manitowoc. Other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert J. Vogel; her parents, Hugo (Edith) Menzel; father-in-law and mother-in-law Jacob (Cecelia) Vogel; her brother and sister-in-law, Floyd “Porky” (Cecelia) Menzel; sister and brother-in-law Marie (Clarence) Lishka;  five brother- in-law and sister-in-law,   Kathleen (Howard) Brunner; Marge (Paul) Vollendorf; Arthur (Dorothy) Vogel; Dolores (Raymond) Reimer; Elaine (Robert) Wallander; Frances “Midge” Vogel and nephews Wayne Siehr and  Richard Reimer.

Obituary Preview: Henry (Hank) Behnke, Jr., age 86, a Manitowoc resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday afternoon, April 6, 2022.
He was born June 1st, 1935 in the town of Rantoul, Wisconsin, son of the late Henry and Esther (Reimer) Behnke. Henry hauled milk cans for Stecker.  He continued his work career at Mike Wallander Construction as a mason.  He retired from Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry in 1997. On September 2nd, 1961, he married the love of his life, “his best doll,” Diane E. Wallander. Henry enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and he took great pride in his yard.  Above all, he loved the many roles he played in his family.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years: Diane; five daughters and four sons-in-law: Julie (Tim) Endries, Carol (Tim) Worley, Sharon (Scott) Zippperer, Barb Behnke, Lois (Brian) Beth, one son and daughter-in-law: David (Michelle) Behnke; grandchildren: Evan (Jenni) Haupt, Lindsay (Zach) Krage, Brianna Haupt, Alyssa (Kevin) Truong, Logan Worley, Sean (Teresa) Zipperer, Seth (HaLeigh) Zipperer, Zach (Melyssa) Behnke, Brandon (Catherine) Behnke, Emma Steinbrecker, and Nathan Steinbrecker.  Also surviving are nine great-grandchildren; one sister and two brothers-in law: Beverly (Gene) Sonnabend and Robert Eickert; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Donald (Betty) Wallander and Charlotte Wallander.  Nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.

Joleece was a former member of the Red Hatters Society.

Peggy was born on December 31, 1935, in Port Hood, Nova Scotia, Canada; daughter of the late Alexander and Flora (Campbell) MacPherson. On November 28, 1959, she married John L. Michael Sullivan in Boston, MA. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1993. John was born and raised in Manitowoc by his parents Cornelius and Agnes Sullivan. John entered the United States Army in 1945 and received his honorable discharge in 1974. In 1951 he was captured during the Korean conflict and was held as a P.O.W. until his release in August of 1953. As a military wife, she lived with John in Japan and Germany. After his military retirement they lived in Hawaii and Metairie, LA before she moved back to Manitowoc in 1993. Peggy was actively involved in the past as a volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Lakeshore Humane Society. She also in the past was an active volunteer at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, knitting baby bonnets for many newborn babies.
Survivors include special friends: Rita Muench, Nate Muench, and Kathy Kautzer; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends survive as well as her pet dog Mindy. She was preceded in death by her parents: Alexander and Flora MacPherson; her husband: John L. Michael Sullivan; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Ann (Ted) Parsons, Terry (Hub) Turner.

Marian was born April 25, 1921 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Otto and Irma (Ruthmansdorfer) Brandt.  She was united in marriage to Robert Diedrich on March 9, 1957 in Manitowoc.  He preceded her in death on November 1, 1997.
Marian was employed at Santa’s Best, formerly National Tinsel Co., of Manitowoc and then with the Aluminum Specialty Co. for 35 years until her retirement in 1983.
Survivors include one sister-in-law:  Carol Brandt, Manitowoc; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Marian was preceded in death by her husband Robert Diedrich, her parents Otto & Irma Brandt, her sister and brother-in-law Ethel & Cliff Spevacek, brothers and sisters-in-law Gilbert & Jean Brandt, Norman & Dorothy Brandt, George Brandt and Kenneth & Karyl Brandt.

Obituary Preview: Cindy L. Bosetski was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world suddenly on Friday morning, March 25, 2022 at home with her family by her side.
Cindy was born on December 6, 1955 in Dracut, Massachusetts. She attended Kewaunee High School and graduated in 1974. On September 27, 1974 she married Tom Bosetski at All Saints Church in Denmark, Wisconsin.
The couple went on to have two children together.
Cindy was employed at Paragon Electric Company from 1978-1989, after that she found a job, she loved working for the Manitowoc Postal Service where she worked for 25 years and finally retired from in 2017. Cindy very much enjoyed seeing and speaking with all the customers on her postal route every day and always provided them with a friendly smile and hello.
In her spare time Cindy loved "cocktailing" with friends and family, she was an amazing cook and grill master, reading books on her down time, and of course always cheering on her beloved Green Bay Packers! Cindy was also a very avid animal lover and enjoyed spending time at home spoiling her two dogs.
Survivors include: her loving husband Tom: and their children: Michael and his children; Fiona, Paxton, and Piper.  Angie Stahl and her children Wyatt Stahl and Graham Stahl.

Daniel "Dan" Thomas Sinnaeve - March 06, 1946 - March 25, 2022

Obituary Preview: Daniel Thomas Sinnaeve, age 76, of Manitowoc, WI passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on March 25th 2022.
Dan was born in Escanaba, MI to the late Andre and Ethel (Yeadon) Sinnaeve. In June of 1972 Dan married the love of his life, Nancy (West) Sinnaeve. Dan and Nancy shared 50 wonderful years together. Dan was a millwright by trade, but was a jack of all trades, as there wasn't anything he couldn't do.
Early in his marriage to Nancy he built a log home for his family, a home for his in-laws, and later on when his health permitted, had many hands on projects that he enjoyed. Woodworking, stained glass, making rings for his girls out out of silver coins, and even creating a miniature wooden skateboard park with his grandson Logan. He also enjoyed fishing and was always up for a game of cribbage.
Dan had a strong faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and had such a positive outlook on life, even when medical issues arose he would say "fix what you can, live with the rest." Dan will be deeply missed by his wife Nancy, 5 children, Andrea Stone, Penny Snow, Jared (Jessica) Sinnaeve, Jenna (Ted Bolle) Sinnaeve, Megan and (Robert) Hoefert, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.  Sisters, Carol (Dennis) Olson, Gail (Mel) Ericson, Mary (Skiz) Casswell, Cindy (Sandor) Rakovszky, And nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date.

Patricia was born on December 8, 1942, to Thomas and Marion (Stockinger) Keery, Sr. in Manitowoc. She graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the Class of 1962. Patricia was employed as an office manager with the law office of Rappaport, Meyer-Walberg in Chicago, IL for 25 years. After, she also worked as an office secretary in Dr. Michael Samborski Dental Office in Oak Lawn, IL, until her retirement in July of 2004 when she moved back to Two Rivers.
Patricia married Raymond Lopez on June 2, 1984, in Manitowoc, WI. He preceded her in death on June 27, 1984.
Survivors include her two brothers and sisters-in-law: David and Cheryl Keery of Two Rivers, and Thomas and Debra Keery of Mishicot. Her favorite nurse and beloved niece: Sarah R. Keery. Three nephews: Steven and Mandy Keery and their son Ian, Michael and Sarah Keery and their children, Aiden, Liam, and Ella, and Brian Keery, other relatives and friends. The family dogs Cabela, Molly, and Max which she enjoyed their visits. Also survived her are friends from Chicago: Dr. Michael & Angie Samborski, Mary Castrejon, and Deb Conley LCM.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Marion Keery, husband Raymond Lopez, and nephew Scott Thomas Keery.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.  Officiating at the service will be the Deacon Al Boeldt with burial to take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc following services.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family would like to send a thank you to the many caregivers that were with Pat through the years, including “Her Lisa” who was with her for over 10 years.

The former Dorothy Sypniewski was born on November 21, 1926 in Manitowoc, WI., the daughter of Louis and Katherine (Shimchek) Sypniewski.  They operated The Washington Buffet, currently Saucy’s Sports Lounge, beginning in 1925.  Katherine passed away in 1928 and Louis passed away in 1932.  After the passing of her parents, she was lovingly raised by an aunt and uncle, Helen and Tracy Mrotek along with their son, Erv.
She graduated grade school from St. Mary’s Parochial School and with the class of 1945 from Lincoln High School.
On June 19, 1948, Dorothy married Stanley Michael Janesky at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  She was a life long member of Sacred Heart Parrish participating in and volunteering for many church activities.
Dorothy was a hardworking, independent woman.  Above all else, her family was everything to her.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Ebbe Rostgaard of Two Rivers, WI. and her sons, Kurt M. Janesky and Chris M. Janesky of Manitowoc, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her aunt and uncle, her husband, Stanley, and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Elenore (Sylvester) McLinn and Louise (William) Gray.
Per her wishes, there will be no service.

Elaine worked for Pacific Bell telephone as an operator in California, later worked for Ameritech Telephone Company in Manitowoc and eventually transferring to the Green Bay Telephone Company, retiring in 1980. She enjoyed traveling and playing cards with her husband, family, and friends. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Clare Society, Friends of the Library, and the Telephone Pioneers.

She loved music and singing, as well as bath time because she loved playing in the water. Ember also enjoyed dancing, eating, and being outside exploring. She was a happy and goofy little girl who could light up any room. Ember loved her family, and especially liked to give her mom snuggles and kisses.
Ember is survived and loved by her mother: Erin Halter; her father: William Genshow; five sisters: Natasha, Kayla, Cassandra, Deanna, and Kendra; maternal grandparents: Vicki and Matthew Spaulding; great-grandparents: Marty and Bob Hartgrove; and paternal grandpa: Robert Genschow Sr. She is further survived by her loving aunts, uncles, cousins, many other relatives and friends.

Roger was born May 22, 1934, in Manitowoc WI, son of the late John and Violet (Yohanek) Reininger.
Upon graduation from Lincoln High School in 1952 Roger joined the United States Marine Corp proudly serving from 1952-1955 during the Korean Conflict. On January 14, 1956, Roger married the love of his life, Nancy Lee Scherer. Together they had four children.
Roger was a true family man and is survived by three children Annie (Dale) Sprang, Racine, WI; Mary Martin, Beaver Dam, WI; Kelly (Dan) Mauer, Mayville, WI; daughter-in-law Lori Reininger, Manitowoc, WI; sister Nancy (James) Campbell, Reedsville, WI. Seven grandchildren include Nicholas (Sheila) Martin, Colorado Springs, CO; Brian Martin, Beaver Dam, WI; Joel Martin, Beaver Dam, WI; Tyler Reininger, Manitowoc, WI; Lucy, John, and Rose Mauer, Mayville, WI. Three great grandchildren include Sienna (Joel Martin), Randolph WI; Robert and Carolyn (Nick Martin), Colorado Springs, CO. Nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.
Roger was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Reininger; his much-loved son Jon (Jonny) Reininger; his parents John and Violet Reininger; sister Carol Huyber; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Orley and Libby Scherer; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Jim and Gary Scherer and Doris and Marilyn Scherer.
A special Thank You from the family to dad’s friend Arlene for her support and friendship over the last few years. The family is also thankful for the support from Tess, Tammy, and Pam with Hospice.
