In additon to her husband she is survived by three sons, James Wilson, Anthoney Phillips and Christopher Henderson; three daughters, Mandy Henderson, Heather Phillips and Jessica Blanton; a brother Edward Lazurick; a sister Linda Batson; grandchildren Kristen Henderson, Tyler Henderson, A.J. Phillips, Josh Phillips, Brandon Phillips, Haley Phillips, Ally Phillips, Kylee Ralston and Kaleb Ralston; and one uncle Bobby Bright.
She was predeceased by brothers, Billy Lazurick, James Lazurick, David Lazurick and Horace Lazurick.
The family will recieve friends on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Bobo Funeral Chapel.  Funeral service will  follow in the Chapel at 5:00 p.m. with Dr. Gary J. Grogan officiating.

Ira was in the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean War. He was a Ship Association Member of the USS Essex and the USS Point Cruise. He was the former owner of both Gaffney Business Machines and King Business Machines and Computers. Ira loved the lake, boating, fishing and traveling with his wife, Carrie.

Gretta Lea Kling - June 16, 1935 - April 19, 2024

Obituary Preview: Gretta Lea Kling (née Speer), born on the 16th of June, 1935, in Howard, Kansas, passed away on the 19th of April, 2024, at the venerable age of 88, at home in Spartanburg, SC.  Her journey through life was marked by a steadfast commitment to education, faith, and family, values that she held dear until her last moments.
Gretta grew up on a farm near Howard with her parents and two sisters.  She loved drawing, reading, and riding horses.  After graduating high school, Gretta attended Coffeyville College and taught in a small country school.  She married Verne Leroy Kling, of Howard, in 1956.
She earned a B.A. in Elementary Education from Southwestern College.  As an elementary school teacher, Gretta dedicated over twenty-five years to the development of young minds. Her unwavering dedication to her students left an indelible mark on the many lives she touched.
Gretta's Christian faith was a cornerstone of her existence. She was an active member of Grandview United Methodist Church in Dubuque, Iowa, for over four decades. Her roles within the church were numerous and included leading as president of the United Methodist Women, working on mission trips, and guiding Bible study.
Gretta enjoyed many activities in retirement such as golf, walking, bike riding, doing word puzzles, and making greeting cards.  She also volunteered her time as a mentor to elementary students and was an officer in the Dubuque Area Retired School Personnel Association. Alongside her husband Verne, she traveled extensively, visiting friends and family around the U.S.  Verne and Gretta hosted visitors and traveled abroad: fostering international friendships through the Dubuque Friendship Force.  Favorite trips included Austria, Chile, and South Korea.
Gretta's legacy lives on through her children: Karen Kling Elder (Brian) of Leonia, N Karlene Kling Fenderson (Brent) of Spartanburg, SC; and Kevin Da Nam Kling (Juliana) of San Antonio, TX. She was cherished by her grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
She joins in eternal rest her husband, Verne L. Kling; her sisters, Audrey and Peggy; and her parents, Bert and Mabel Speer, who preceded her in passing.
In keeping with Gretta's wishes, no services will be held at this time.  Interment will be at Grace Lawn Cemetery in Howard, KS.  Instead, her life will be celebrated privately by family and friends, who will honor her memory through acts of kindness and service, reflecting the generous spirit she embodied throughout her life.

Obituary Preview: Robert Brian Holt, 53, passed away on March 2, 2024 in Roebuck, SC. He was the son of the late Robert “Bob” Holt and Joan Holt (Chris Evangelou), who reside in Lewisburg, PA.
He is survived by his sister, Shelley Coons; his brother in law, Bill Coons; his nephew, Cullen Coons; his niece, Maddie Coons, who all reside in Livonia, NY; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and coworkers.
After high school, Rob attended West Chester University, where he enjoyed playing on the soccer team, pledging his fraternity and making many friends. Rob quickly realized that he was meant to take another direction in life. Rob enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he became an EOD Diver (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) and was stationed in Panama City, FL. After his time in the Navy, Rob went back to college at Florida State University. Rob spent the next 10 years working with his mom at her graphic design company in Williamsport, PA. However, his passions led him back to his original training, this time as a Civilian Contractor in the UXO industry. Rob received his certification from Texas A&M and spent the next 15 years traveling the country as a UXO Technician. Rob rose through the ranks achieving many promotions and most recently was working as a UXOSO- UXO Safety Officer and a UXOQCS- UXO Quality Control Specialist. Rob was incredibly proud of his career accomplishments and was honored to work alongside his many friends and coworkers.
Rob had a big heart, a fierce love for his family, a strong loyalty to his friends and a passion and pride for his work. He loved to travel, meet new people and spend time with his family and many friends across the country.

Terry is survived by a son, Dustin Eugene Scruggs (Trinity); daughters, Dollie Danielle Emory (Shawn), Christina Rae Scruggs and Jessica Nicole Cunningham (Alex); sisters, Norma Nichols, Sylvia Deaton (Bobby), Teresa Walden and Rena Fenner (Edward); and grandchildren, Nolan, Aubrey, Autumn, Kinsley and Khalil.
He is predeceased by a son, Terry Joseph Scruggs; brothers, Gary Scruggs, Tommy Scruggs, Roger Hester and Jimmy Scruggs; a sister, Janice Scruggs; and two grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Love Springs Baptist Church from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at Love Springs Baptist Church at 1:00 PM. Dr. Ron “PR” Culbertson will be conducting the service. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
