A seasoned accountant, he dedicated many years of service at The Money Store in Union, NJ contributing his skills and professionalism.
An active member of the John T. Gregorio Center in Linden, Joe embraced various aspects of community life. His love for Doo Wop resonated in his membership with various acapella groups with melodic performances spanning countless years. Joe also explored amateur boxing, showing tenacity and spirit.
Yet, Joe’s most cherished role was that of the best dad-a title earned through boundless love, unwavering guidance, and countless cherished moments. His impeccable sense of style further defined him, leaving an edible mark on those who knew him. Joe will be remembered for his dedication to family, the joy he brought through music, and his sense of fashion.
He is predeceased by his wife, Marialaina Campione.
Joe is survived by his children; John Vincent Campione, Gina Campione, Erica Oliveira and her husband Eddie, his sister, Ona Marino, and his grandchildren: Giselle, Lucas, Eddie, Jr., and Enzo.

A lifelong resident of Elizabeth, he worked as a sanitation driver for the City of Elizabeth and later joined NJ Laborer's Union Local 3 in Mountainside, NJ. He was a dedicated fan of the San Francisco 49ers and enjoyed bowling and softball. Robert's greatest love was reserved for his sons. He relished every moment he spent with his boys, from coaching their soccer teams to collecting football cards with them. Robert's bond with his sons was a source of immeasurable joy and fulfillment.
He is predeceased by his father, Robert Pinkiewicz.
Robert is survived by his mothe Marie (Campanelli)Pinkiewicz, his sons, Skylar and Mason, his former wife, Debbie Dieguez, his aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

Obituary Preview: Mary Philomena Catalano, 89 of Masonic Home passed away Monday, November 27, 2023, at Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital.Mary was a native of New Jersey, she moved to Kentucky to be closer to family, but always remained a true Jersey Girl at heart. She was a Roman Catholic, she attended services at St. Barnabas Catholic Church in New Jersey. She retired from The Gran Centurions, where she served as a bookkeeper for several years. A grand mathematician, she could organize and compute any problem, she was great with numbers. Mary was the quintessential Italian mother, she was an amazing cook, and an excellent host, she even catered to family friends, nobody left her home with an empty stomach or without a smile upon their face. Mary was an avid knitter, she belonged to the knitting club the “Happy Hookers”, which donated handmade items to those in need. She enjoyed playing Mahjong, socializing with her friends, and of course matching 4 sets and a pair. Mary was a loving wife and devoted mother; she loved spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary was a true matriarch, her love, support and guidance will never be forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Philomena Pacchia.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of more than 66 years, Victor Catalano; her children Carol (Vincent) Pelosi of Milford, NJ and Joseph (Rebecca) Catalano of Louisville; her brother Anthony Pacchia of Bayville, NJ; grandchildren Vincent (Anne Marie) Pelosi and Victoria (James) DeChristopher; great-grandchildren Cameron Pelosi and Logan Pelosi; along with a great-grandchild Dominic DeChristopher, soon to make his debut; additional family members and numerous friends.

Gerardo's life journey began in Vallata, Italy, where he was born, and he later embarked on a new chapter by emigrating to Elizabeth, NJ in 1967, a place he would call home for the rest of his life. Gerardo dedicated 27 years of his life, from 1968 to 1995, as a machine operator at Phelps Dodge Copper Products, in Elizabeth, leaving a lasting legacy of hard work and commitment to his craft. His dedication and work ethic were truly commendable.
Gerardo's life was marked by his love for his homeland and his service to his country. He proudly served in the Italian Army, demonstrating his unwavering patriotism. As a former member of the Vallatese Club on Third Avenue in Elizabeth, he valued the bonds of friendship and camaraderie he formed there. Beyond his professional and social pursuits, Gerardo found solace and joy in simpler pleasures. He had a green thumb and a passion for gardening. His homemade wine and tomato sauce were a testament to his culinary skills that brought family and friends together creating memorable moments he enjoyed. As a parishioner of Saint Anthony's Church in Elizabeth, he found spiritual fulfillment in his faith.
Gerardo is now reunited with his beloved wife, Rosaria (Strazzella) Fredella, and his siblings; Adelio, Luigi, Michele, Domenica, and Corinda Fredella, who have gone before him.
He leaves behind a loving legacy in the hearts of his children; Josephine Lewis, Maria De Francesco, Frank Fredella, and Gerardo Fredella, Jr., as well as his cherished grandchildren; Cristina, Giuliana, Roxanne, Cheryl, Gianna, Nina, Shayla, Frank, Marcello, and Dylan, and his great-grandchildren; Michela, Jayla, Averie, Julia, Gabrielle, Liam and Kate along with his many nieces and nephews. Pilar moved to Edison, New Jersey where she lived for 15 years, and relocated to Metuchen, New Jersey 8 years ago, creating lasting memories and connections in each place. A woman of strong character and enduring spirit, Pilar embraced each chapter of her life with resilience and grace.
Pilar found solace and joy in the creative arts. Her skilled hands brought life to fabrics as she sewed, and her green thumb transformed gardens into vibrant displays of nature's beauty. Pilar's culinary prowess was unmatched, as she prepared meals that not only nourished but also filled hearts with warmth and love. Her desire to stay informed led her to enjoy watching the news, while her passion for novelas provided a touch of escapism.
Pilar's life journey was accompanied by profound moments of love and loss. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Rosa Weiss. Yet, in the face of hardship, Pilar's strength and love endured, shaping the lives of those who remained.
Pilar is survived by her loving sons, Octavio Rodriguez and Jose Rodriguez, along with their respective spouses, Mariset and Josephine. Her legacy also lives on through her cherished grandchildren: David Diaz, Giovanni Rodriguez and his wife Amanda, and Gina Rodriguez and her husband Peter Aleman. Pilar's influence extends to the newest generation, as she was a proud great-grandmother to Alyssa Rodriguez.

Eventually, her husband Bob would join her in the business, and in 1994, she became the proprietor with him and remained so until the present. Marie was a member of the Retired Men and Ladies' Club of Elizabeth and was a past president of Saint Anthony’s Altar Guild and Saint Anne’s Rosary Society. Her loving family, with whom she spent all of her time, was her greatest joy.
Marie is predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Robert(Bob) A. Belmont and her parents Peter and Elizabeth(nee Petruccelli) Scutro.
She is the beloved mother of Marie E. Belmont Baio, cherished grandmother of Louis Jr., and Peter(Christina) Baio and Elizabeth(Daniel) Lack, dear sister of Adelene Pelosi, and loving great-grandmother of Mary, Anna, Peter, Jr., Harrison, Nicholas, and Benjamin. Marie is also survived by her niece, nephews, great-niece, great-nephews, and cousins.

Eventually, he became a building inspector for various cities for 10 years. Mike then went on to work for the City of Elizabeth in the Building Department as a construction official for 20 years retiring in 2012. He was a member of the Vallatese Club and enjoyed going to Atlantic City and betting on the horses. His love for his family, especially his grandchildren, was endless. Mike was a man who cared for everyone and looked for nothing in return. He could be depended on for anything. He will now be together again with his loving wife, Carol.
Mike is predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Carol A. Mazza, his parents Rocco and Annunziata Mazza and his sister, Antoinette Tourkay.
He is survived by his children; Nancy Mazza-Castillo, Michele Mazza, and Rocco Mazza, his grandchildren; Anthony, Mia, Ava, Dominick, Michael, Carmelo, and Joseph, his brother, Carmelo Mazza, and his sister, Maria Pellegrino. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Barbara moved to Cranford, New Jersey when she was a teenager and eventually settled in Union, New Jersey in 1965, where she lived for the past 57 years.
Barbara was a math teacher and taught at Kawameeh Middle School in Union. For many years, she was an active parishioner at Holy Spirit R.C. Church in Union. Barbara enjoyed cooking and her house was always filled with food, family, and friends. Her greatest joy was to be "Nana" to all, and create a home where everyone was welcome, and there was always room for one more at the table.
She is the beloved wife of her husband of 57 years, Daniel Petruccelli, cherished mother of Richard Petruccelli, Thomas Petruccelli, and his wife Sheila and Danielle Miles and her husband, Dan, dear sister of Lawrence O'Donnell, and loving grandmother of Richard and his wife Kristine, Christopher, Vincent, Jude, Samantha, and Angela.

Rose was a seamstress for 20 years working for an Elizabeth clothing manufacturer before becoming a secretary for the City of Elizabeth in the Department of Public Works in 1982. She retired in 1997 after 15 years of service. From 1997 until 2002 Rose continued to work as a lunch aide at School #14 in Elizabeth. She was also a member of the Retired Men and Ladies' Club of Elizabeth. Rose enjoyed cooking and sewing and loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Frank Puma, and her daughter, Diane F. Puma.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Triolo and her husband Dominick, her grandchildren; Anthony Triolo and his wife Maria, Michael Triolo and his wife Diane, and Christine Kubik and her husband, Keith, and her great-grandchildren: Emily, Anthony, Sarah, Catherine, Timothy, Brian, Nicholas, and Ava.

Vita was the beloved aunt of Jacqueline(Jackie) Kaelin, and her husband Kevin, and Michael Tartamella, and his wife Denise, and the dear great-aunt of Courtney Tartamella and Madison Kaelin. She will be greatly missed by her family, many friends, her cat Pookie and her nephew's dog, Hamlet.

Dotty was a member of the Salesian Cooperators, Saint Anne's Rosary Society, the Retired Men and Ladies' Club of Elizabeth, and was a president of Saint Anthony's CYO. She also was a Eucharistic Minister and belonged to Saint Anthony's Altar Guild and Senior Citizens. Dotty was a social butterfly who enjoyed being with family and friends.

Mrs. Augugliaro is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joseph Augugliaro, her brother Anthony La Russa, her children: Richard and Mary Augugliaro, and several nieces and nephews.
