Their partnership was marked by mutual respect, laughter, and enduring companionship—a love story that inspires those who knew them.
Starting in the 1960s, Brother Turner faithfully served at All Nations Prayer Tower COGIC under the leadership of the late Pastor Lewis Bishop, where he was ordained as a Deacon. Brother Turner worked at various places, from Campbell, Wyatt, & Cannon Foundry in Mus-kegon, Michigan, to his longest employment with General Motors in Saginaw, Michigan, where he retired after 27 years. He took pride in owning a home and maintaining his yard, watching Western movies, listening to gospel music, attending church, and eating a home-cooked meal. His pastimes also included playing baseball in leagues in the South.
He was a dedicated family man, exemplifying love, kindness, and commitment to his loved ones. Brother Turner stood as a pillar of strength and a beacon of love within his family circle, offering rides, giving financial support, and witnessing God's favor whenever needed. His warm smile and gentle demeanor left a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. His family was his greatest joy and proudest achievement, cherished with his whole heart as he radiated warmth and love to everyone around him.
