Survivors include his parents, Jerrell and Martha Reeves; brothers, Charlie Reeves and his wife, Tina and Jason Reeves and his wife, Ashley; sisters, Linda Noe, Anita Brown and her husband, Jerry, Patricia Reeves and Cindy Kirby and her husband, Joey and a brother-in-law, Alvin Brown. He will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Reeves Cemetery in Old River with Rev. Mike Meligan officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jason Reeves, William Brown, Timothy Brown, Clinney Ray Reeves, Michael Burns, Curtis Brown, Jeffery Brown, Kevin Brown, Austin Nail and A. J. Nail.

Mrs. Westbrook had only moved to Conroe three years ago but had spent most of her life in Paragould and was a member of First Baptist Church there. She had a love for all her animals as if they were her children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gale Westbrook and a brother, Billy Lamb.

Survivors include her son, David Westbrook and his wife Denise; grandchildren, Hannah Bierie and her husband Shawn, Harris Westbrook, Mary Westbrook and her fiancé, Hunter Pelham, Kimberly Attaway, Nicolas Rodriguez and his companion, Lesli Rodriguez and Michael Rodriguez. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Brecken Westbrook, Boone Bierie, Hayes Westbrook and Catalina Rodriguez; twin sister, Margaret “Annie” Lamb and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and all her fur babies.

She also had a love for frogs and she loved her dog Sky. Jessica will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved her.

Marjorie was a long-time resident of Conroe, where she resided for over 50 years before moving to Porter, Texas, in 2017 due to the repeated flooding caused by hurricanes, the last of which was Hurricane Harvey.

Marjorie shared an incredible journey of love and companionship with her husband, Charlie Willard Sackett, for a remarkable 80 years until his passing just one year ago, almost to the day of her own departure. Together, they built a beautiful family and cherished their life together.

Marjorie was a devout member of the Pentecostal faith and dedicated herself to her church community. She faithfully attended church services every Sunday until the age of 93 when she could no longer drive. As a woman of faith, she instilled strong values in her five sons, raising them in the church and teaching them essential life skills such as cleaning, ironing, and cooking. Marjorie's expectations of hard work and self-sufficiency were clear in her home.

Writing held a special place in Marjorie's heart, and she found solace and joy in putting her thoughts onto paper. For many years, she diligently maintained a personal diary and regularly corresponded with friends and family through heartfelt letters. Her words were a testament to her inner strength and gentle spirit.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 80 years, Charlie Willard Sackett, her grandchild Justin Daryl Sackett, step-sister Virginia Lee Parker, and step-brothers Jack Williams and James Williams.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories in the hearts of her five sons: Charles Sackett and wife Linda, Ronnie Sackett and wife Beverly, Elton Sackett and wife Linda, Daryl Sackett and wife Evelyn, and Dennis Sackett. She is also survived by her adoring thirteen grandchildren. Additionally, Marjorie is survived by her sixteen great-grandchildren, as well as five great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other cherished family members.

Marjorie Monique Sackett's life was one of devotion, strength, and love. Her unwavering faith, nurturing spirit, and profound impact on her family and community will be remembered and treasured by all those whose lives she touched. Her legacy will endure through the generations, a testament to a life well-lived and the everlasting bonds of family and faith.

A visitation with be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton with a service to follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. also at Pace Stancil. Following the service interment will be held at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton, Texas.

Bradley had an infectious smile that could light up a room. He never met a stranger and would lend a helping hand to anyone. His life revolved around his family, Cooper, Austin and Jake were sure to keep him on his toes. Bradley’s words of wisdom were “scared money don’t make money” and “teamwork makes the dream work” between him and his Babe’s planning there was always fun to be had. He was truly the life of the party, and you could always find him on a pool table with a natty in his hand.

Bradley loved the outdoors – fishing, hunting or just shooting guns; his most memorable hunting trip was with his father, Mike Woodruff, where he finally had the opportunity to get the Oryx he had always wanted. He was known for his wild concoctions he would whip up in the kitchen and had perfected a pan sausage recipe that was most wonderful. Bradley loved spending time with his Paw Paw and Nana who lived next door.

He started his career with Jackson & Jackson, then moved to Arkema before finally finding his home with Energy Transfer where his co-workers quickly became family. Bradley owned and operated B & S Land Clearing & Mulching alongside his stepdad, Sean Fenner and mother, Liz. He left a mark on everyone he crossed paths with and will be greatly missed by many.

Bradley is survived by his son, Cooper Woodruff; fiancé, Stephanie Lewis (better known as “Babe”); children, Jake Lewis, Austin Blackstone; father, Mike Woodruff and Jo Leah Jones; mother, Liz Fenner and husband Sean; sister, Bridgette Woodruff and Justin Massengale; step-brother, Derek Fenner; grandparents, Horace and Alcean Jackson, Dianna Cassels, Don Fenner; nephew, Luke Woodruff, Landen Fenner; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, left to cherish his memory.

Gene found solace and inspiration in his faith and attended Faith Family Church in Baytown. He cherished his time spent with his beloved grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. Fishing was one of Gene’s favorite hobbies, along with being an avid gun collector as well as a collector of stereo equipment.

Gene was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Owen Boyer. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Yvonne Boyer; his mother, Virginia Boyer; his children, Lisa Walker and her husband, Anthony, and Dustin West and his significant other, Savannah McKinney. Gene's memory will be carried on by his cherished grandchildren, Kaiden West, Cameron Walker, Brooklyn Kelley, and Jameson West. He is also survived by his brothers, Paul Owen Boyer and Kenneth Ray Boyer, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Louise McElhaney; children, Karen McElhaney, James McElhaney Jr. and wife Michelle, Donnie McElhaney Sr. and wife Paula; brother, Russ McElhaney; sister, Mae McElhaney; grandchildren, Randy Crance and wife Jeanie, Johnny McElhaney and wife Debbie, Mickey McElhaney, D.J. Richard leaves behind a loving and devoted family to cherish his memory. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rose Diehl, his children Charity White and Eric Martinez, Jennifer Mainus and husband Dustin, Cathy Ryan and husband Ray, Karen Diehl and Tommy Bishop, and Nicholas C. Goodman. Phil worked at Enterprise Products for 38 years before retiring in April of 2022. He spent a majority of his career working for the Measurement Department where he made many life-long friends. He was known for his knowledge in the field, strong work ethic, no-nonsense attitude and treating his co-workers with respect.

As a child Phil participated in the Mini Mustangs, a basketball ball handling organization that traveled around Kentucky to perform. One of his more impressive tricks was being able to spin the ball on his finger while doing a forward roll. He also played football in high school. Basketball remained a passion throughout his life. He enjoyed both playing and watching. He spent many Wednesdays and Sundays playing pick-up games at the “Old Gym.” Phil coached his daughter and her classmates on their Barbers Hill Sports Association teams and in All-Stars. He helped his daughter coach his oldest grandson on his Little Dribbler team. He was an avid UK fan and enjoyed traveling to watch the Cats with his family and friends.

Phil enjoyed talk radio and spent countless hours sitting in his truck listening.

Phil was preceded in death by his father, Carl Ray Sadler and step-father, Paul Marr. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Susan (Gentry), his mother, Delores Marr, his daughter, Lauren Seaberg (Curtis), grandsons Gunner, Grayson and Gentry Seaberg. He is also survived by his brother Tom Sadler, sister Carla Miller, stepbrother Allen Marr (Mary), stepsister Tammy Houchens (Rick), his aunt Janis Gentry as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Mont Belvieu Rehab and Healthcare for the excellent care they provided Phil during the last few months.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 9 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton from 4-8 pm.

A memorial will be held at a later date in Kentucky for family and friends.

She graduated from St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Plaucheville and married Philip Godwin Plauché in 1944. Marie and Godwin married June 8, 1946. They moved to Sulphur, Louisiana in 1946 and lived there for 48 years before relocating to Kenefick in 1994, where they resided for 13 years.

Lois Marie Plauché was a loving and generous woman who always cared for her family and friends. She welcomed many relatives and guests into her home and always had food ready for them. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and eating sweets, and worked in a bakery and later owned and operated a Mexican restaurant for some time. She also loved music and dancing and was a great partner to her husband on the dance floor.

Lois Marie Plauché was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Godwin Plauché; her parents; her 16 siblings; her daughter, Pamela Plauché; and her grandson, Lee Douglas Breaux. She is survived by her son, Philip John Plauché and his wife Vicki; her grandchildren, Dana Plauché Greathouse, John Paul Plauché and his wife Roya; her great-grandchildren, Kerry Greathouse, Aaron Greathouse, Rhiannon Breaux, Philip Breaux, Fara Plauché, Jack Plauché; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 p.m. with the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. There will be a prayer service Friday, June 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Pace Stancil Dayton with the burial at Linney Cemetery in Dayton.

He dedicated 5 years of his career to working at US Steel, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family. However, Larry's true passion lay in the realm of entertainment. For many years, he became the beloved "comedian" of the Liberty Opry, captivating audiences with his magnetic stage presence. After an illustrious 26-year tenure at the Opry, Larry retired, leaving behind a legacy of memorable performances.

In addition to his theatrical endeavors, Larry also served as an umpire for high school and junior college baseball. His fair judgment and love for the game contributed to the development of young athletes, leaving an indelible mark on the local sports community.

Larry and his beloved wife Judy, whom he shared 54 wonderful years of marriage with, earned a special place in the hearts of their community as the Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. Their enchanting portrayal of Santa and Mrs. Claus brought joy and holiday spirit to countless individuals, especially the children of Liberty/Dayton. Their dedication to spreading happiness during the festive season touched the lives of many and created cherished memories for years to come.

During his leisure time, Larry found immense joy in woodworking, crafting beautiful creations with his skilled hands. He also indulged in occasional visits to the casino, trying his luck and savoring the excitement of the games. Additionally, Larry had an appreciation for classic Western films, finding comfort in the nostalgia they evoked.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Oris and Lucille Falk Etheridge. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Etheridge, their children, Pam Bradford and husband Jerry, and Julie DeShazo and husband Marty. His grandchild, Logan McNeil, who brought him great pride and joy. Larry is also survived by his brother, Kenny Etheridge, and wife Sophie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

To honor Larry's remarkable life, a celebration of his journey will be held on July 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Hardin Baptist Church-Family Life Center in Hardin, Texas. Anna not only cared for her own children but also opened her home to other children, providing them with nourishment and support. Playing with the kids brought her immense joy, and she created a warm and welcoming environment for all.

In her leisure time, Anna delighted in playing dominoes and held a particular fondness for the television series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Her hobbies were a source of relaxation and enjoyment, allowing her to connect with her loved ones and friends.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, William Arthur Murphy and Marjorie Aletha Gambee Murphy, as well as her step-father. She also mourned the loss of her brother, Warren Charles Murphy, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Norman and Ruby Weaver, and her sisters, Billie Jean Cole and Alice Marie Rogers.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Danny Broomfield, and their children, Danny William Broomfield and his wife Jenny, Susan Jones, and Charlet Ellen Broomfield. Anna is also survived by her sisters, Ellen Louise and Charlotte Rosetta. Her memory will forever live on through her cherished grandchildren: Alisha Thomas, Randall Thomas, Jr., Paul Thomas, Kenneth Thomas, Kathryn Thomas, Cody Monk-Thomas, Stephen Thomas, Gabriel Thomas, Savannah Allen, and Zeke Allen.

She later earned her Master’s degree from SFA in 1977, while teaching and raising children. She had a 20-year teaching career in several districts including Dayton ISD.

Betty was a volunteer at First Baptist Church in Dayton where she was a member. She had a heart for ministry and helping others. She taught the Ladies 3 Sunday School class and held a very close relationship with those ladies. One of her passions was helping with Vacation Bible School. She was the wife of a deacon and helped him provide hospitality and food for the bereaved families of the church. She was a dedicated member of the prayer chain as she loved to pray for others.

Betty was a member of Lambda Alpha Sigma and a part of the Friends of the Library organization in Dayton. She enjoyed the fruits of the labor from Darrell’s garden which she loved to share with others. She liked to watch all Houston sports and two of her favorite college teams to watch were Baylor and Texas A & M. Her late husband was a member of the Junction Boys and she remained involved in the Letterman’s Club and the Junction Boys activities even after the passing of her husband Darrell.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Darrell Brown, her father Oscar Gaskill and mother Grace Gaskill, daughter-in-law Dachelle Brown, and her brother Richard T. Gaskill who was a Rear Admiral in the US Navy.

She is survived by her children Brenda Lueders and husband David, Barry Brown and late wife Dachelle, Bryant Brown and wife Vonda Kay; grandchildren Meghan Stoddard and husband Jordan, Matt Lueders and wife Christina, Carri Brown, Mitchell Lueders and wife Paige, Andy Brown, Casey Brown and wife Shelby, Avery Brown, Christy Brown; great-grandchildren Genevieve, Charlotte, Olivia, Brooks, Lincoln; brother-in-law Gene Brown; numerous nieces and nephews; and also her Ladies 3 Sunday School class who will truly miss her.

He found great joy in bringing old radios back to life, tinkering with vehicles, engaging in mechanical work, and honing his woodworking skills. His passion and talent extended beyond ordinary projects, as he constructed his very own telescope, motorboat, and even a windmill that briefly provided electricity to his home. Frank's ingenuity and love for creating will forever be remembered by those who witnessed the fruits of his labor.

In his younger days, Frank delighted in the simple pleasure of fishing. Casting his line and spending time by the water brought him tranquility and allowed him to connect with the natural world around him. These moments of solace provided a refreshing escape from the demands of daily life.

For over 56 years, Frank was blessed with the companionship and unwavering love of his wife, Annie Mae Marek. Together, they built a strong and nurturing home, sharing the joys and challenges of life side by side. They resided in Eastgate, Texas, for over four decades, creating a lifetime of cherished memories. In recent years, Frank and Annie Mae relocated to Spring, Texas, where they continued to enjoy each other's company and embrace new experiences.

Frank Henry Marek was preceded in death by his parents, Frank August Marek and Christina Svatek Marek, as well as his brother, Fred Marek, and sister, Agnes Moeller. He leaves behind a legacy of love and family. She ultimately went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Education with honors from Lamar University, laying the foundation for her impactful teaching career. For over 20 years, Theresa taught math and science to 5th-grade students in Dayton. Her exceptional dedication and teaching skills ensured that her students always reached grade level and excelled academically. She was a source of inspiration and motivation for her students, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.

As a mother, Theresa was actively involved in her children's lives, going above and beyond to support them in various capacities. She volunteered as a room mom, actively participated in the parent/teacher organization, and took charge of the concession stand and fundraising efforts as a dedicated band mom. Additionally, Theresa shared her faith and taught religious education at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, imparting her values and knowledge to the younger generation.

Theresa's loving and caring nature extended beyond her immediate family. She was a pillar of support for her siblings, always lending a helping hand. Known for her warm presence and unwavering support, Theresa was the one who could always be relied upon by her loved ones.

Outside of her professional and family life, Theresa had a passion for gardening, sewing, quilting and needlework, and baking. She excelled in these hobbies, bringing beauty and joy to those around her.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Florence Ann Neuman Fisher and Catherine Matilda Neuman Carter. She is survived by her husband, Herman Andrew Damek, daughters Brenda Damek and Denise Damek (Odle), son Herman Damek, Jr., sister Rose Marie Neuman McMillen, grandchildren Austin Damek, Emily Damek, Kaitlin Damek, Rachel Odle, and Sarah Odle, and numerous other family members and friends.

Theresa Margaret Damek will be dearly missed, but her impact as an educator, wife, mother, sister, and friend will live on in the hearts and memories of all those whose lives she touched. Her legacy of love, dedication, and selflessness will continue to inspire and guide future generations.

Bill was a resident of Seabrook for the past 10 years and before that was a resident of Crosby for 20 years. He spent much of his life in Dayton and surrounding areas.

Mr. Conner graduated from Dayton High School in 1961. He was inducted into the Dayton ISD Sports Hall of Fame for multiple sports. Bill attended Baylor University beginning in 1961. He was a member of First Methodist Church in Dayton, the International Safari Club, and the Houston Safari Club.

Bill Curtis also owned and operated his own real estate business for many years. He was instrumental in developing many subdivisions in the Dayton area and partnered with Bill Dark for most of those projects. Some of Bill’s interests and hobbies included raising racehorses and hunting all around the world, in such places as Africa, Russia, Canada, Greenland and Alaska.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dale Conner.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Lynne Jameson; Son: Chance Conner and wife, Carrie, Son: Chace Conner, Son: Chad Conner and wife, Uyen, Son: Sean Jameson and Daughter: Erin Ocker and her husband, Chris; Grandchildren: Chloe, Casey, Trent, Tyler, Sean, Christopher, Andrew, Michael, Calum and Keegan; one great-grandchild, Denim; brother, Alan D. Conner and wife Mary Ellen; sisters, Connie Noble and husband Grant, and Donita McCormick; extended family in England, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
