Ron grew up in Perth Amboy and has lived in Brick for nearly thirty years.

He worked as a truck driver and was a devoted employee of Woodhaven Lumber, Point Pleasant Beach. Ron loved boating and fishing and enjoyed spending time and elbow bending with his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, John Serovinski.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife, of thirty-one years, Debra; and his daughters, Ashley Serovinski and Brittany Serovinski, all of Brick. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Warman; his sister, Dawn Yoder; his Woodhaven Lumber colleagues; and by many dear friends.

Obituary Preview: Philip Charles Schneider Jr., age 90, of Point Pleasant, New Jersey and Marathon, Florida, passed away August 28, 2022.

Phil is survived by his loving wife Greta Rasmussen Schneider of forty-one years, his stepchildren Frank DiTullio and wife Tia, Kimberly Lawlor and husband Jeff, Karin DiTullio and Kirstin O’Connor and husband Paul, grandchildren Jesse, Colin and Griffin Embry, Zachary and Hunter Jakupko, Tommy, Anne and Danny DiTullio, Tamra Lawlor and Madelin O’Connor and great granddaughter Olive May Embry. He is also survived by his niece Allison Smith and nephew Geoff Carragher and wife Jodi.

He was predeceased by his parents, Sheila Martin Schneider and Philip C. Schneider, Sr. and sister, Patricia Smith.

Phil was born in Rahway, New Jersey on December 8, 1931. After moving a few times, his family settled in Brielle, New Jersey where he lived as a child and also with his wife Greta until 1994 when they purchased a motorhome and began to travel for 10 years visiting every state and province.

In the winters, they enjoyed their home in Marathon, Florida and summers in New Jersey to spend time with growing families and grandchildren.

Phil graduated from Saint Rose High School in Belmar in 1950 and then attended Lafayette College. He later received an honorary degree for his generosity and became a member of the Lafayette Marquis Society. After a stint in the army, he worked for RCA for a short while. In 1977, Phil opened his own business, Schneider Nelson Porsche Audi and Monmouth Land Rover Jaguar with good friend Jerry Nelson. He served on the dealer counsel for Audi which included travel with Greta to England, Germany and other countries. After selling the business in 2015, Phil focused much of his time towards philanthropic endeavors.

Phil was an active member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Bay Head, New Jersey and Saint Columba Episcopal Church in Marathon, Florida. He served on the vestry, was a mentor in the men’s group and was an integral force in the Hammock House, a children’s educational and support center. He was also an active member of a 12 Step Program for over forty-five years.

Phil was a member of the Manasquan River Golf Club and Manasquan River Yacht Club where he belonged since childhood. He enjoyed sailing as a youth and then became an avid sports fisherman. Other passions included photography, antique cars, and always looking to improve his skill as an amateur marksman often at the range with his good friend Ralph.

He was a voracious reader, mostly history and the World War II Era.

He was known for his very quick one-liners and had an inventive verbal humor.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 17th, 2022 at 11 AM at All Saints Episcopal Church, 500 Lake Avenue, Bay Head, NJ.

For his young age, he was never afraid of a challenge and looked forward to trying something new head first. He inspired his family with his bravery and devotion to genuine friendships. A true social butterfly and adventurous soul.

Raul will be dearly and deeply missed, never forgotten and forever imprinted on the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.

Born in Elizabeth, Suzanne grew up in Roselle Park. As a proud member of the “Dirty Eight” and Captain of the cheerleading squad she graduated Roselle Park High School and attended Trenton State College.

She is survived by her loving husband of eighteen years, Phil Monahan, and was the proud mother to Bob, Jr. (Tina), Karen (Jeff), David (Kathleen), Peter (Maggie), Christine (Michael) Michael, John (Marcela), Dan (Terri), and Mary Kate (Patrick). Suzanne was known as Nanz or Nannie, to thirty beautiful grandchildren and as Gigi to her three great grandchildren. Suzanne loved her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and countless friends. She is reunited with husband Bob Sr., Peter, Michael and her brother Bill.

Suzanne enjoyed a full happy life wherever she called home Including Perth Amboy, Canada, New Providence, South Carolina and her beloved Long Beach Island.

Most will remember Suzanne for her beautiful smile, her generous heart, gift of gab, calling everyone a friend, sitting on the beach, and most of all, loving her family.

At 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 16 a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 4700 Long Beach Boulevard, Brant Beach.
