She cherished their road trips to Florida, the houses that they made homes, and all the late night parties with their lifelong "Club" friends. After Ray's passing at only 36, Margie worked tirelessly to support her family taking up jobs at IIT, USPS, Encyclopedia Britannica and countless others to make sure that her family did not want. She opened her home to cousins, nieces, nephews, and her children's friends, treating them all as if they were her own. While she never learned to drive, she logged countless miles traveling with friends and family, always making sure to send postcards and bring back souvenirs and treats for those back home. She took no greater joy than when she was able to retire and become "Grandma". She watched her Grandkids after school, during the summers, or whenever they wanted to be spoiled. She taught them how to jump rope, play hopscotch, and play countless board and card games. But it is her love of family, her faith, and warmth that we'll remember forever.
