Also preceding her in death were her parents, one brother and one sister. Surviving is one son Gregory W. Vasen of Champaign, two grandsons; Christopher Michael Vasen and Andrew Ryan Vasen and sister Carolyn Butterfield of Princeton. Virginia graduated from Manlius High School as the Salutatorian. She worked at Spoon River College from 1960-1994 as a registrar. Virginia was a member of First United Congregational Church of Christ since 1956, serving as council President, Secretary, Treasurer and on the Pastoral Search Committee. She also was a member of the Canton China Guild, served on the Canton Community Concert Board and was a Canton Breast Cancer Survivor. Services will be 11 am Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, where visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Canton. She was born on August 3, 1940 in Canton to Sylvester and Barbara (Leigh) Cruser. They preceded her in death.
She married Joseph V. Norton on December 18, 1958 in Pekin. He preceded her in death on December 13, 2001.
Surviving are her children, John (Lauren) Norton of Virginia Beach, VA, Joetta (Jim) Fischer of Dripping Springs, TX, Julie Norton Smith of Canton, two sisters, Dixie (Butch) Minor of Lewistown, Diana (Jim) Eyman of Urbana, OH, four grandchildren, Jessica Norton, Paige (Trevor) LeValley, Kristina (Brandon) Schieferecke, Julianne Norton, one great grandchild, Bennett Schieferecke and one sister-in-law, Linda Cruser.
Also preceding her in death is one brother, John Cruser.
Doris worked at J.C. Penney's and Crawford's Furniture in Canton. She volunteered at Graham Hospital and was a member of the Canton Elks Lodge #626. She enjoyed the Chicago Cubs, K.C. Chiefs, NASCAR and watching Tiger Woods play golf.
A private family funeral service will be held at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a celebration of life to be held in April.

She married Louis "Sonny" Krueger in Lewistown on October 16, 1978. He preceded her in death on October 14, 2001. She later married Marvin Stuckey in Canton on March 20, 2004. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, William (Valerie) Terry Jr of Canton, Linda Terry of Sunnyland, Vincent (Shawnie) Evans of Canton, step children, Marvin (Candice) Stuckey of Canton, Brenda (Earl) Frank of Trivoli, Eric Stuckey of Lewistown, brothers, LeRoy Jones of Beardstown, Larry Jones of Havana, sister, Rose Landis of Morristown, IN, eleven grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death one infant son Robert Evans Jr, brother, Bob Jones Jr, sisters, Alice Wilson, Susan Smith and Carolyn Stuckey.
Arlene worked as a hairdresser for 13 years and at Caterpillar for 12 years. She was an active member of First Church of the Nazarene where she served as a Sunday School teacher and on the church board. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Surviving are his children, Greg (Jill) Laird of Aurora, CO, Julie Laird of Canton, Kathy (John) Rosich of Avon, IN, Kelly (Brian) Dougherty of LaPlata, MD, nine grandchildren, Scot Powers, Eric (Jill Romine) Powers, Kelsey (Paulo Gonzalez) Laird, Kristen (Warren) Race, Nathan Rosich, Katelyn Rosich, Megan Rosich, Justin Siders, Jason Siders, three step grandchildren, Molly (Josh) Reddell, Morgan Dougherty, Briana Dougherty, one brother, Allan Laird of IN and ten great-grandchildren.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and then graduated from Western Illinois University. He went to work for International Harvester and later for Country Companies. He lastly worked for Caterpillar Tractor for 29 years retiring in 1995.
He was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church where he served as a Lector and a member of the Knights of Columbus and volunteered at their dinners.
He was an avid Cubs fan and attended spring training for many years. He enjoyed golfing and bridge. A special memory of his was his trip on the Honor Flight. Kline was a very social person and he never met a stranger.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton from 5-7 pm with a recitation of the rosary at 7 pm.
A funeral service Mass will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 10 am, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Canton.
Burial with military honors will be held at St Joseph Cemetery in Canton with a lunch served at the church following.

He is survived by his brother, Garry Boughan of Canton, six children; Amber Boughan of Akron, IN, Jennifer Short of Nashville, TN, Sarah (Nate) Wright of Indianapolis, IN, Randy (Kristen) Boughan of Indianapolis, IN, Jessica of Indianapolis, IN and Elizabeth Boughan of Carmel, IN, nine grandchildren; Austin Malott (Haley Baillieul), Kristen Malott (Tanner Kotterman), Madison Short, Tyler Short, Carter Short, Shaelynn Boughan, Syaira Miller (Simon Lee), Sophia Thomas and Arthur "Artie" Boughan, four great grandchildren; Gavin, Luci, Ryder and Simaira and one great granddaughter due in February and some nieces and a nephew.
Rick graduated from Canton High School in 1965 and attended Spoon River College. He was a veteran of the Air Force, serving from 1966-1969 at Grissom AFB, Bunker Hill, IN. He retired from International Harvester Company/ Navistar in 2004 after 38 years. He was an avid and talented bowler, golfer and softball player. Rick was a member of the American Legion, inducted in the Canton Bowling Association Hall of Fame and a member of the Elks.
Rick always enjoyed gathering with his family and playing guitar and singing. If you knew Rick, you knew he was quick witted and had a love for women. Rick did not know a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanie Day, two sisters, Kendra Snider, Beverly O'Connell, two grandchildren, Michael Leezer, Melissa Hackwith and two great grand-children, Rayvn Snider and Sophia Hasselbacher.
Billie had many jobs in her lifetime, from data entry, driving grain trucks and a teacher's aide at Brimfield Grade School. She had been attending the Nazarene Church in Wyoming. She was a very talented artist and enjoyed painting and solving Sudoku puzzles. She truly enjoyed spending time with all of her very large family and reading her Bible.

Surviving are two sons, Tom (Monica) VanMiddlesworth and Tim (Christine David) VanMiddlesworth both of Canton, three grandchildren; Bryan (Amanda) Wolford, Craig (Semone) VanMiddlesworth, Megan (Travis) Rosich, six great-grandchildren; Ethan Rosich, Tannor Rosich, Koltin Rosich, Layla Jones, Alicyn VanMiddlesworth, Vince VanMiddlesworth, two brothers, Larry (Susie) Vanmiddlesworth, Robert (Thalia) Vanmiddlesworth, one sister, Connie (Francis) Williamson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Ronald "Sam", Charles, Gerald "Fuzzy" and Wayne "Henry" VanMiddlesworth.
Bud served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired from International Harvester/Navistar in 1989. He was a volunteer for the Banner Fire Department and served as an Orion Township Trustee. Most of all he loved his family and enjoyed telling stories of growing up in Breeds. He had a passion for farming and taking care of his cows and pets. During his wife's battle with Alzheimer's disease, he was her primary caregiver.
Services will be 2pm Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a visitation one hour prior at the funeral home.
Burial with military honors will be held at the White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.

He was preceded in death by one son, Dean Menard, three step children, Linda David, Kevin David, Greg David, three grandchildren, David Riley, Danyel Riley, Matt Hawf, , three brothers and five sisters.
He worked as a roofer, All Type Heating and Cooling and as a truck driver for Spoon River Blacktop. He served in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed fishing, nice cars and the stock car racing. He was known for riding his "Hoveround" around town and even took it fishing. Most of all Russell loved his family and friends and was loved by many.
Cremation rites will be accorded through the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A celebration of life will be held at a later date along with the burial of ashes at the Liverpool Cemetery.

Rose worked as a nurse's aide and later in housekeeping at the Holiday Inn in Macomb which became the Days Inn. She loved the outdoors and sunbathing in her birthday suit. She also enjoyed to travel and visit the casinos. Rose was very proud of the people she meet during her life including, Buck Owens, Aaron Tippin and Willie Nelson.
Cremation rites have been accorded by the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. There will be no services per her wishes.

Surviving are two children, Dillon Reissen of Trivoli, Samantha Reissen of Key West, FL, two brothers, John Reissen Jr of Canton, Bob Reissen of Canton and six sisters, Margaret Harmon of MO, Clara Johnson of Morton, Catherine Sizek of Norris, Carolyn Herrick of Dunfermline, Rose Smith of East Peoria and Norma Williams of FL.
Paul served in the U.S. Army. He worked for ADM in Peoria and lastly in Bushnell. He was a member of the Twisted Breed Motorcycle Club in Fulton County.
Cremation rites will be accorded, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Twisted Breed Motorcycle Club.

She survives along with his mother, four children; Keith (Alaira) Allard of Canton, Jessica VanDyke and Russell VanDyke both of Fiatt and Erik Knott of Peoria, two brothers; John Allard of Cuba and Bobby Allard of Farmington, three sisters; Sheila Shawgo and Dawn Uryasz both of Fairview and Larri Ann Daugherty of Bakersfield, MO and six grandchildren with one more on the way.
Ravfe was preceded in death by his father, brother Bret Allard and sister Sue Wilson.
He worked as a truck driver for 36 years and was a member of Mid-West Truckers Association. Ravfe loved Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, Sunday morning oldies with his coffee, camping, fishing, hunting and anything to do with family and friends with a cold beer in hand. He also loved his dogs; Saki, Zues and Mossy. Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. He is survived by his wife, Sheila (Allard) Shawgo, whom he married on April 20, 2013, in Elmwood.
Also surviving are his mother, Carmen, five stepchildren, Kentricia (Kyle) Allard, Chelsie (Dalton) Allard, Carrie Scalf, Curtis (Kristen) Mahr, and Kacie (David) Scalf, one brother, Brian (Janice) Shawgo, one sister, Cynthia (Randy) Myers, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Kevin was a truck driver for his entire life. Most recently he worked for Hicksgas in Canton. He loved listening to classic country music and ZZ top. He was a member of the previous Fulton County Saddle Club. He also enjoyed riding horses, and motorcycles as well as going camping. Most of all Kevin loved spending time with his friends and family.
