He was formerly married to Joann Rouillier.
Steven was employed as a machine operator at Revere Copper and Brass Products since 2011. He previously worked for Scepter in Seneca Falls for eight years.
He enjoyed cars and trucks, playing basketball with his dad, and spending time with his children.
Surviving besides his parents, Alvin and Donna, of Rome; are three children, Ashley Parent, Steven Parent, Jr., and Mikayla Parent, all of Rome; a brother, Alvin (Amy) Parent, Jr., of Whitesboro; a nephew, Tyler Parent; a niece and his goddaughter, Selena Parent; and his former wife, Joann Rouillier.

She was born on August 30th 1953 to Vincent and Mary Petrucci in Rome, N.Y. She was a lifetime resident of Rome. On June 30, 1979 she was united in marriage to Anthony Evans and together they raised three daughters. Elaine was a long-time employee of DFAS and other financial institutions in the past. She was a life time parishioner of St. John the Baptist church.
Elaine is survived by Laura and her husband Kevin Hagan of Syracuse, NY; Deanna Evans and Andrew Capobianco of Windsor, CT; and Jenna Evans and Mike Jones of Springfield, MA. She has three beloved grandchildren: Sophie, Coleman, and Cora with a fourth expected in April (''baby Billie''). She is also survived by three sisters and one brother: Nancy and Rhett Kristl of Marcy, NY; Tony and Lee Petrucci of Las Vegas, NV; Jane and Fred Askham of Loveland CO; Marie and Bill Williams of New Hartford, NY as well as her nieces, nephews, cousins, a large extended family and many cherished friends.
Elaine will always be remembered by her beautiful smile, warm vibrant personality and her love for all babies. Her family and grandchildren were the world to her. Elaine was a beautiful woman who was always perfectly coordinated with her makeup, jewelry, matching clothes and amazing high heels. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed her daily lettuce. She was an avid reader and often frequented the library. On Sunday you would find her at church due to her devotion to her faith. She went out of her way to make everyone feel cared for and was always helping others. To know her was to love her. There was no way to get by Elaine without a hug and a kiss. She will be deeply missed by all that she impacted.

On September 25, 1948, she was united in marriage to Sigmund Sawicki, a blessed union of 69 years.
Maryann worked in the offices at Rome Cable Corp. for many years. She spent the years of her retirement travelling all over the world with her husband.
She was a talented musician and avid reader.
Surviving besides her loving husband Sigmund, are: a granddaughter, Kristi (Matt) DiRocco of Philadelphia; four great-grandchildren, Ryan, Aydan, Maryn and Leena; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by: son, James Sawicki; a granddaughter, Kimberly Dotterer; three sisters, Bronia Lipinski, Stella Skorobogaty and Phyllis Dair; and two brothers, Edward and Chester Skorobogaty.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Allemann; one grandson, Johnathan Conner; five sisters, Eva Slabicki, Marion Tinello, Victoria Stolo, Frances and Sophie Smothers; and three brothers, Andrew, Martin and Joseph Smothers.
