Susan was born in Folkston, Georgia but raised in Jacksonville in the gateway neighborhood on the northside. Susan was married to Marvin Richard Harb in November 1960 and had two children, a son, Marvin Richard Harb Jr., and daughter, Lanora Deane Harb. In March of 1966 she married Donald Sapp which adopted both of Susan’s children. Marvin Richard Sapp and Lanore Deane Sapp. Susan had two grandchildren, Shawn Allen Sapp and Dana Nicole Sapp. Susan had three great-grandchildren, Damend Richard Sapp, Benjamin Wayne Harrison and Vittoria Sofia Sapp. Susan has fought a long battle with Cancer and COPD. She passed on March 10, 2023 with her son and daughter by her side. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM from the graveside in Restlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Kersey was born in Stillmore, Georgia to the late Albert and Della Kersey and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. He had retired with the rank of Chief from the U.S. Navy. He later retired from the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office as a Corrections Officer. He was a member of South Jacksonville Presbyterian Church and was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, the late Sandra Brown Kersey; Survivors include his daughter, Shellie Jean Kersey; 2 granddaughters, Isabel and Taylor Sexton.
