Obituary Preview: Dennis M. Wilhide, Sr., age 71, of Spring Grove, passed away on March 19, 2024 at UPMC Hanover. He was the loving husband of the late Yvonne M. (Smith) Wilhide who passed away on September 18, 2016; together they shared 15 years of marriage.
Dennis was born in York, PA on April 26, 1952 and was the son of the late Donald H. and Helen R. (Eveler) Wilhide. He worked as a boiler technician and enjoyed time spent at the beach, camping, boating, and attending truck pulls. Dennis was also a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hanover and a member of the Knights of Columbus in McSherrsytown and the Hanover Moose.
Dennis is survived by his children Jacquelyn L. Wilhide, Dennis M. Wilhide, Jr. and wife Lisa, Michael S. Wilhide and wife Niley, and Helen L. Jones; his good, caring friend Joyce Miller; his stepchildren Jessica Prather and Timothy Foreman; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his brother Gary Wilhide and wife Janet; his sister Elizabeth Manning and husband William; numerous nieces and nephews; and his companion, Tucker. Dennis was preceded in death by one grandchild; and an infant brother.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dennis’ Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Rd., Hanover, PA 17331 with Rev. Msgr. James M. Lyons as celebrant. Interment will follow the Mass at Conewago Chapel Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10:00AM – 11:00AM prior to the Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Obituary Preview: Antonios Litsikas, age 35, of Hanover, passed away on March 9, 2024 at WellSpan York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Kelsey S. (Hawbaker) Litsikas; together they shared 9 years, 5 of which were spent in marriage.
Antonios was born in Hanover on March 24, 1988 and was the son of John and Catherine (Krichten) Litsikas. Tony was an intelligent, multi-talented, fun-loving person with a heart of gold. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and was a wonderful father who loved his children fiercely. He enjoyed many hours fishing with his grandfather. He also enjoyed hunting and had a love of wildlife and aquarium fish. He had a passion for cars and motorcycles. He was an extremely loyal friend who would do anything for a friend in need. He was the love of our lives and we will miss him beyond measure.
In addition to his loving wife and parents, Antonios is survived by his children Athena Litsikas and Yianni Litsikas; his maternal grandfather Robert Krichten, Jr ; his siblings Vasiliki Litsikas and significant other Steve Cluck, Samantha Miller and significant other Alec Warner, Antonia Groft and husband Matt, and Eleni Justice and husband Jon; special uncle and aunt Vasilios and Vasiliki Litsikas of Serres, Greece and numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Antonios was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Patricia Krichten; and his paternal grandparents Antonios and Vasiliki Litsikas.

Ronald L. McKnight - July 29, 1945 - March 02, 2024

Obituary Preview: Ronald Lynn McKnight, 78, born in Abington, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday March 2, 2024 at home in Littlestown, Pennsylvania with his family by his side.
He is survived by his wife Jane (Kuebitz) McKnight of 56 years; his daughter Heather, son Douglas, and six grandchildren.
Ron grew up in Quakertown, Pennsylvania and joined the United States Navy, serving 4 years during the Vietnam War on the U.S.S. Brush as an Electronics Technician. After meeting his bride on a blind date while his ship was docked at Pearl Harbor, he and Jane were married in Honolulu, Hawaii and upon discharge they moved back to Pennsylvania. He attended both Temple University Ambler and transferred to Penn State University studying Landscape Architecture, graduating with high honors with a Bachelor of Science degree. He worked as a landscape architect for 39 years for various firms in the Philadelphia area.
In addition, he taught part time at Temple University Ambler and mentored hundreds of students throughout his tenure of 31 years. Ron was a avid outdoorsman, a world-travelled angler, and a lifelong member of TruSport Game Club of Bucks County, and the Pennsylvania Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs in which he served on the executive boards in many roles. Living for 43 years in Hatboro, Pennsylvania, Ron volunteered for decades on the Shade Tree, and Planning Commissions. He loved nature and spending time with his family outdoors, especially at beautiful Lake Minisink in Dingman's Ferry, Pennsylvania. Travelling with his son, he fished in Alaska, Montana, the Caribbean, and New Zealand, as well as locally.
A Memorial Service is planned for October 2024 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, Pennsylvania.

Patrick J. Eckenrode, Sr. - April 27, 1937 - March 01, 2024

Patrick “Pat” J. Eckenrode, Sr., age 86, of Bonneauville, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Sylvia T. (Strausbaugh) Eckenrode and together they shared over 62 years of marriage.
Pat was born in Littlestown, Pennsylvania on April 27, 1937 and was the son of the late Bernard W. and Rose V. (Price) Eckenrode. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1957. Pat worked in construction and as a truck driver. Later in his life he worked in security until he was 80 years old. Pat was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan and enjoyed refinishing old wood furniture. He truly cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his great-grandbabies. Pat was a parishioner of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Bonneauville, the Knights of Columbus at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, and the Catholic War Veterans Post #1342 in Bonneauville.
In addition to his loving wife Sylvia, Patrick is survived by his children Patrick Eckenrode, Jr. and wife Roxanne, Michelle Eckenrode-King, Stephanie Plank and husband Jason, Amy Eckenrode, and Corey Eckenrode; his grandchildren Maggie Rebert and husband Michael, RJ Carnero and wife Ruth, Karley Perricone and husband Mason, Emily Showe and husband Corey, Cheyanne Eckenrode, Dustin Eckenrode, and Jacob Eckenrode; and his great-grandchildren Donovan, Lynette, Evelyn, Rowan, Josie, Caden, Trey, and Jackson. Patrick was preceded in death by his son Andrew Eckenrode; and all seven of his brothers and sisters.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 11:00AM at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 12 E. Hanover St., Bonneauville (Gettysburg), PA 17325 with Rev. Benny Jose as celebrant. He will be placed in his final resting place following the Mass at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Cemetery in Bonneauville with military honors provided by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30AM – 11:00AM prior to the Mass at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.

Cadence was born on September 8, 2023 and was the loving son of Nicole Lawrence and Nicholas Despines. He is also survived by his siblings Bailey Lawrence, Rowan Lawrence, Willow Lawrence, Layken Lawrence, and Amaya Branick; his maternal grandparents James Lawrence and wife Luanne and Jeri Lucich and husband Stephen; his paternal grandparents Joseph and Tracey Despines; his aunts Katie Christian and Ashley Christian; his uncles Aaron Christian Alec Dixon, Connor Lucich, Nathan Despines, and Dylan Despines; and many other loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Cadence had so much fun watching his brothers and sisters play. He was the most bright eyed and smiley little boy; he was constantly smiling on all occasions. Cadence loved his parents and would light up whenever he saw their faces.

Kim J. Hain - November 22, 1951 - February 17, 2024

Obituary Preview: Kim J. Hain, of Littlestown, passed away peacefully with family at his side on February 17, 2024, at the age of 72. He was the husband of Susan (McMaster) Hain for 30 years; the father of Stacey Hain, Jeffrey Hain and his girlfriend Alicia McClintock, Stephen Hain, Michael Frey and Daniel Frey; the grandfather of Taylor, Allison, Josie and Chance, and the great-grandfather of Fletcher, Sullivan, and Rome; and the brother of William C. Hain, III and his wife Nancy. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Hain and his parents, William C. Hain, Jr. and Thelma G. (Brubaker) Hain.
Kim was a kind-hearted and generous man who always kept family and friends at the center of life. He was a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School in Pottstown, PA. He served in the US Air Force as an MP, stationed in Izmir, Turkey. After relocating to south central Pennsylvania, he made his career as a homebuilder. Kim was a talented craftsman and carpenter, with a natural gift and patience for teaching others. Hobbies and interests were many - including travelling, cruising, card games, trivia, live music, spoiling his grand-dogs, and regular trips to the hunting camp in Centre County with friends, where he often served as camp cook. He was an active and dedicated member of the Gettysburg Presbyterian Church for decades.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service in celebration of Kim’s life on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Gettysburg Presbyterian Church, 208 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325, with Rev. J. Caleb McClure and Rev. Harry Winsheimer officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be private.

Alex was preceded in death by his father David L. Gass, along with both of his paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents. He is survived by his son Francis Lee Gass, age six of Hanover PA, daughter Charleigh E. Sleighter age 8 of Marcus Hook PA, his mother Eileen L.(Keffer) Gass of Hanover, Sister Jessica L Dubs (Gass) and husband Shawn (niece Courtney L Dubs) of Hanover, brother Matthew J David Gass and Wife Tracie (nieces Emma L and Maddie J Gass) of North Dakota, and an abundance of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Alex graduated from Hanover Senior High school in 2007 and moved to North Dakota, taking on farming and enjoying coaching wrestling alongside his brother. After moving back to Hanover, he was a man of many trades....working as a pool tech and a restaurant manager. Most recently he worked for Diamondback Signal as a railroad tech. When Alex was in school, his family enjoyed cheering him on through both wrestling and football seasons. Although he enjoyed making others laugh, he had a tender heart and loved deeply. Alex enjoyed fishing and swimming any chance he got. Most of all, he longed for the times he could wrestle with Frankie or play in a creek with Charleigh. Just being with his children made his heart happy.
Alex was raised to love the Lord and now walks the streets of gold. Our memories of Alex will be cherished forever, and his legacy will live on in his children.
A memorial service in celebration of Alex’s life will be held on Tuesday at 11:00AM at Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 501 Ridge Ave. McSherrystown PA 17344, with Rev. Orewiler officiating. The internment will immediately follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A gathering will be held on Tuesday from 9:00-11:00AM at the funeral home.

Fredrick C. Ives - July 23, 1946 - February 11, 2024

Obituary Preview: Fredrick C. Ives, of York, passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 77. He was the beloved husband of Anita L. (Staub) Ives, together they shared 55 years of marriage; the loving father of Nathan Ives and his wife Tammy, Gwendolyn Bolin and her husband Mark, and Lucas Ives and his wife Jamie; the dear brother of Roberta Dahling and her husband Gerald, and Eben Ives and his wife Virginia. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Clover (Hall) Ives.
Fred served 6 years in the Navy, completing two tours in Vietnam. His career included 12 years of work as an electrician at Caterpillar Tractor. Later, he, Anita and their family moved to Montana where they owned and operated a TV and Appliance store. They had many adventures there and enjoyed the beauty of the mountains and wildlife. Upon returning to PA, Fred worked as an Engineer at Schindler Elevator for 22 years. Always looking for a “hands -on” project, he beautifully remodeled many rooms of their homes over the years. He always enjoyed visits with his children and grandchildren, family and friends. Although he frequently said he was a quiet person, he enjoyed meeting new people and sharing colorful stories with them. His goal was always to bring a smile to their face and brighten their day. Gratitude, compassion, and empathy were his guiding stars.

She is survived by her four children, Stacey Shipman and husband Christopher, Sr., Robert Simpson, Jr. and wife Jennifer, Richard Simpson, Amber Sell and husband Christopher, Sr.; eight grandchildren, Gina and fiancé Ethan, CJ, Nevaeh, Robby, Tony, Hunter, Hayden & Aria. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard J. Culotta and her uncle, Salvatore A. Culotta, Sr.

Jerome F. Storm - December 03, 1942 - January 31, 2024

Obituary Preview: Jerome “Jerry” F. Storm, 81, of New Oxford, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and those who have gone before him on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at The Gardens of Gettysburg, with his daughters by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Wilma (Vaneover) Storm who passed away in 2004.
Jerry was born at home in Hanover on December 3, 1942 and was the son of the late Donald J. Storm and Miriam Anna (Mummert) Storm. He graduated from Delone Catholic High School, Class of 1961. He worked for 23 years at Black and Decker and retired from Tyco Industries in 2005. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Annunciation BVM Catholic Church. Jerry was a life member of New Oxford Social and Athletic Club, where he spent many years in the organization holding various positions, the McSherrystown Moose and the McSherrystown Home Association.
He was a devoted Squire alumni, attending many football and basketball games supporting the teams. He enjoyed gardening. You could see him out in his yard tending to his many flower beds and on his riding lawn mower or sitting on his front porch, as he called himself the “porch monkey”, watching the cars drive by and getting a kick out of the different birds and animals in his yard. He also loved attending his class of ‘61 luncheons at Hoss’s and spending time with his fellow classmates. Jerry enjoyed his bus trips with the Recycled Teenagers and their weekly breakfast/ lunch get togethers. He was an avid football fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
He is survived his children, Greg Storm and his wife Cathy, of Hanover, Deanna Kelley and her husband Robert, of Littlestown, and Andrea Fuhrman Becker, of New Oxford; his grandchildren, Amy Nonemaker, Katie Ingle and her husband Jay, and Aaron Fuhrman and his fiancé Kayla; his brother, Louis Storm and wife Bonnie, of Hanover; and his niece, Sharon Elco and his nephews, Shane and Shannon Storm and their family.
He is also survived by a step son, Jeff Pate and was preceded in death by his step son, Douglas Pate (surviving spouse, Tina Pate), all of New Oxford. He also has numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he dearly loved.

(Hagerman) Funk; together they shared 55 years of marriage. He was the loving father of Colleen Wonder and her husband David, Tess Aumen and her husband Tony, Kevin Funk and his wife Dolly, Tim Funk and his wife Julie, Sharon Hunt and her husband Dave, and Lisa Funk. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, Shane Wonder (Dawn), Cory Wonder (Katrina), Hank Baugher (Laura), Derrick Baugher (Erica), Matt Aumen (Sonia), Joe Spangler, Sara Spangler, Alexa Funk, Natalie Funk, Adam Funk, Kayla McMaster (Reed), Morgan Hunt, Zachary Hunt, and Jacob Hunt; 13 great-grandchildren, Aaron Wonder, Drew Wonder, Hope Adams, Grace Paolini, Alison Wonder, Peyton Baugher, Parker Baugher, Waylon Aumen, Emma McMaster, Cooper McMaster, Peirce Hunt, Noelle Hunt and Lou Forsythe; his sisters, Charmaine Hood and Nancy Staub; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved brother, David Leon Funk; his granddaughter Lauren Baugher; and his parents, Cyril and Lillian (Geiman) Funk.
Bernie spent his life living with gusto. Whether playing golf with friends at South Hills, sharing Tuesday breakfast at Starlight, riding horseback on the Gettysburg Battlefield, riding bicycle and crabbing along Chester River or riding kayak with family he always wore a big smile. He never missed South Western Football games, wrestling matches or South Western Outlaws youth baseball, and cheered on his grandchildren and great-children. He will be dearly missed for his love of family and friends, and the great outdoors.

John W. Smith - November 03, 1928 - January 06, 2024

Obituary Preview: John W. “Lut” Smith of McSherrystown, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6, 2024 in Hanover, PA at the UPMC Hospital. He was the husband of the late Loretta A. (Peg) Smith who died in 2020, together they shared 67 years of marriage.
He was born in Adams County and was the son of Elmer J. and Grace M. (Sadler) Smith. He was a member of Annunciation BVM church in McSherrystown, PA and a past member of the church choir. He was a life-long member of Knights of Columbus in McSherrystown, PA and Catholic War Veterans in Bonneauville, PA.
John was a veteran of the Army serving in the Korean War.
He was a graduate of Delone Catholic in the class of 1947. John retired from Diller Wierman, Inc. employed for 40 years as a sheet metal fabricator. John was a dedicated volunteer at Delone and the last original member who started the Delone Catholic Athletic Association. He was a humble man and felt greatly honored by being inducted into the Delone Catholic “Hall of Honor” in 2021. He began his volunteer service in 1954 and continued until 2018. His service covered many of the sports offered at the time. He would be found operating the time clock/scoreboard at football games, girls and boys basketball games, and wrestling matches. Many of the athletics and students not really knowing him by name, referred to him as “Mr. Delone.”
In his younger days outside of Delone, John could be found coaching and umpiring youth baseball in McSherrystown, PA.
John was a big Notre Dame fan and traveled to South Bend many times to enjoy football games with family and friends. He was a member of the Gettysburg Notre Dame Club since it was chartered in 2004. His last fond memory was meeting Coach Marcus Freeman at a special event that the club sponsored in May of 2023. He was honored by the club as the oldest living member at the time of Coach Freeman’s visit.
Above all John/Pap enjoyed his many family vacations to Ocean City, Maryland and weekends at Lake Meade boating and water skiing.
He would always look forward to the yearly winter ski trip to Seven Springs with family and friends. Pap retired his skis at the age of 82 years young.
The love of his life was spending time with his family; he especially cherished moments with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his son, Tony and his daughter-in-law Donna Smith of McSherrystown; son-in-law Wade Harlacher of Gettysburg; three grandsons, Ryan and his wife Marie Smith, Ty and his wife Suzi Harlacher, Jerrod and his wife Emily Smith, all of Hanover, PA; four great-grandchildren, Leland Smith, Brian Harlacher, Rowan and Adelynn Smith, all of Hanover, PA; brother, Bernard Smith of York, PA, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Donna “Noonie” Harlacher and seven sisters, Mildred Sentz, Genevieve Bolin, Ruth Moore, Rita Kuhn, Pauline Eline, Threasa Overbaugh, and Dorothy Matthews.

She is also survived by her 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bernard J. “Ben” Murren; her brother, Cyril F. “Boomey” Weaver; her son-in-law, Rodney Swords; and her parents, Irene C. (O’Donnell) and Cyril F. Weaver, Sr.
All who knew Mom, knew how generous she was with family and friends. She enjoyed playing scrabble, bingo, cards, and she loved her rock and roll music! She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. But we will rejoice in the fact that we will see her again someday. We love you, Mom.

She was the loving wife of the late Donald H. Klunk who passed away on May 18, 2016; together they shared 67 years of marriage.
Lovie was born in Carroll County, MD on March 18, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Carroll and Mary (Laughman) Tracy. She graduated as the Valedictorian of her class at North Codorus High School and was a lifetime member of Black Rock Church of the Brethren in Glenville. In her younger years, Lovie played golf and tennis and enjoyed reading, needle point, gardening, and baking. Lovie was also known as an excellent cook, but most of all cherished the time she spent with her loving family.
Lovie is survived by her children Theresa “Terry” Klunk, Rebecca Wood and husband Daniel, and Kevin Klunk and wife Michelle; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Shirley Tracy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lovie was preceded in death by her sister Esther Miller; and her brother Donald Tracy.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Lovie’s life will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 11:00AM at Black Rock Church of the Brethren, 3864 Glenville Rd., Glenville, PA 17329 with Pastor Brandon Grady officiating. Elaine graduated from Hanover High School through York Vo-tech in 1970. She worked for York International for over 30 years. She also worked with her late husband Dennis at their honey business in Bethel, PA. Elaine enjoyed collecting snowmen and antiques. She loved seeing the snow fall in the winter. In the summertime Elaine spent time with family and friends having cookouts by the pool. She loved to listen to live music and enjoyed dancing. She loved to spend time with her friends and family and taking her dog Gus for adventures in the park. She is loved and greatly missed by all who knew her.

Toyoko is survived by her daughter Patricia Pendleton; her grandchildren Nathan Miller and wife Melanie, Stephanie Kay, and Megan Pendleton; and her great-grandchildren Thomas, Madison, Brayden, and Hailee. She was preceded in death by her daughter Katherine Spangler who passed away in 2018; and her siblings Kaneo Iwama, Kinji Ito, and Midchi Okuda.

She worked as a cash analyst for Sompo International prior to her illness. Yvonne was an avid reader, but most of all cherished the time she spent with her loving family and grandchildren.
In addition to her loving parents, Yvonne is survived by her children Abigail Myers and Stephanie Reese; her grandchildren Haley, Dillon, Matthew, Mason, Miles, and Ivy; her siblings Robert G. Goehrig, III and wife Lori and Pamela G. Thomson; and her ex-husband Richard McDowell, Jr. She is also survived by her nieces Alexandra and Olivia; and her nephew Spencer. Yvonne was preceded in death by her son-in-law Preston Reese who passed away on June 30, 2015.

Her greatest passion in life was her children and all they did. She was an outgoing fun-loving person. She loved the summertime and going to the pool and getting her hair and nails done. She loved to bake; and her favorite foods were bacon, shrimp, and fried squash. She loved watching murder mystery shows and her favorite movie was “Dirty Dancing”. Tina also loved Christmas and decorating her Christmas tree. She truly lived her life for her sons and cherished every moment she spent with them and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Tina is also survived by her siblings Jody George, EJ Harpine, Jason Boyd, Brian Boyd and wife Krystal, Melvin Harpine, and Shaun Harpine and wife Carrie; her grandmother Linda Walker; her best friends Desiree Mummert, Sarah Hunt, and Amanda Harpine; her ex-husband Andrew Jacoby; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tina was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Doris and Raymond Boyd; her grandfather Melvin Walker; and her son’s grandmother Darlene Jacoby.

She graduated from Delone Catholic High School Class of 1959 and worked for Hanover Shoe for 46 years prior to her retirement. Pauline was a parishioner of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in McSherrystown. She was also an avid scrapbooker and bingo player and helped with bingo at Delone Catholic High School and St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Hanover. Pauline was known for helping others, enjoyed traveling and gambling, but most of all enjoyed time spent with her loving family.
In addition to her loving husband Lester, Pauline is survived by her children Sherry A. Wallace and husband Ron, Tony Brunner and wife Tracey, and Barry Brunner and wife Deborah; twelve grandchildren; and twenty-six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her daughter in law Tammy Brunner; her sisters Violet Bair, Margaret Hummer, Ethel Rebert, and Teresa Barker; her brothers Charles Smith and Alan Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pauline was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Carter; her sisters Joan Hagarman and Nancy Miller; and her brothers Robert Smith, Ricky Smith, and Ronald Smith.

Judith was a parishioner of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in McSherrystown and started the school lunch program at Annunciation B.V.M. Catholic School. She also volunteered at the Hanover Area Council of Churches Thrift Shop in Hanover. Judith enjoyed cross stitching, taking trips to Montana, and visiting her loving family and friends.
In addition to her loving husband Lynn, Judith is survived by her children Luke Strevig and wife Misty, Jake Strevig and wife Maggie, and Katie Strevig; her grandchildren Violet, Arthur, and Ruby; her siblings Christine Noel, Roberta Lescosky, Suzanne Noel, Margaret Staub, Louise Lahman, Peter Noel, and Ann Speicher; and her sister-in-law Diane Noel. Judith was preceded in death by her brother Anthony Noel.

Virginia “Ginny” was born in New Oxford on February 19, 1951 and was the daughter of the late J. Randolph and Evelyn A. (Billman) Staub. She graduated from Delone Catholic High School Class of 1969 and was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Basilica in Edgegrove. Ginny was extremely involved at Sacred Heart Parish having served as a Eucharistic Minister for over 30 years, served on the Healthcare Ministry, taught Religious Education, and started the Parish Angel Tree used at Christmas time. She was also a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. Ginny was an avid golfer, enjoyed a good card game, and cherished breakfasts with her friends. Ginny had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed traveling to new places. Her sense of adventure and giving spirit brought her to Uganda Africa on a Mission trip with Imprint Hope. Ginny adored her grandchildren and she loved spending vacations, having sleepovers and spending quality time with them. Central to Ginny’s life were her family, faith, and friends.
Ginny is survived by her children Michelle Prin and husband Dr. William Prin, Dr. Rebecca Weiler-Timmins and wife Dr. Erica Weiler-Timmins, and Christopher Timmins and significant other Gina Chroniger; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Anita Ives, Constance Hadley, Christine Noel, and Mary Rodgers; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ginny was preceded in death by her grandson Benjamin Richard Prin; and her brother Patrick Staub.

Jeffrey Krepps was an incredible person who touched the lives of many. It’s evident that he was a devoted husband to Melissa, sharing 26 years of love and companionship. His love for his daughter Courtney shines through, showing the depth of his affection and care. Jeff also shared a special bond with his son in law Brandon. He is at peace knowing Brandon will be taking care of his girls the exact same way he always did. Jeff had a range of hobbies that brought him joy, including being an avid sprint car and NASCAR fan. His love for Budweiser and enjoying the beach with his family added to the zest for life. Jeff could always be found cheering on the New York Yankees, Pittsburg Steelers, and the USC Trojans. Jeff was also a member to multiple clubs around town where he made a lot of close friendships with many. Jeff’s dedication as a fire chief and his lifelong membership to both Pennville Fire Company and Pleasant Hill Fire Company exemplify his commitment to serving and protecting his community. The bond he shared with his DD crew was undoubtedly special. May Jeff’s spirit and the cherished memories you shared bring comfort during this difficult time.
