Bette was born in Clovis, NM on August 6, 1937, to her mother, Ruby Siddens Blair and her father, Ernest Blair. She was one of three siblings. Teddy Blair, her older brother, and Sandi, her much younger sister, that she was blessed with at the age of 19. Bette excelled in everything she did; she did exceptionally well in school and in sports. At the age of 19, she married Robert Charles Gentry, they spent 64 years happily married before his passing in September of 2021, a few months short of their 65th wedding anniversary. Together they had three children. Bette was always family oriented and prioritized her family above everything else in her life. In her free time, she loved to hunt and fish. She loved the mountains and the smell of rain. She was also an avid bowler.
Bette was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Her warm smile, gentle spirit, and unwavering support brought comfort and joy to those around her. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a caring sister, and a cherished friend.
Bette was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her strength and resilience in the face of adversity were truly remarkable. She taught us the importance of perseverance, faith, and never giving up. Her unwavering belief in God, the power of love and the human spirit will continue to guide us in our lives.
As we mourn the loss of our dear mother, grandmother, and sister we also celebrate the beautiful moments we shared with her. Her laughter, her wisdom, and her unconditional love will forever be etched in our hearts. Though she may no longer be physically present, her spirit will live on through the countless lives she touched.
She will be greatly missed by her family: two daughters Cathi Johnson (Jerry) of Texico, NM and Jennifer Stephens (John) of Clovis, NM, four grandchildren: Joshua Johnson of Texico, NM, Sarah Gomez (Fernando) of Seminole, TX, Taylor Boyle (Shilo) of Shallowater, TX and Jaden Stephens (Johnathon Randall) of Lubbock, TX and seven great grandchildren: Hannah, Hadassah, Havah, Asaph, and Baruch Gomez; Blaire and Bryleigh Boyle, Her sister: Sandi Rogers (Shelby) of Argyle, TX, sister-in-law: Lisa Blair of Clovis, NM and six nieces and nephews. Robert L. Bradshaw - February 28, 1934 - April 29, 2024

Departed: 04/29/2024 (Clovis)
Obituary Preview: Bob was born on February 28, 1934, to Jewel and Charlie Bradshaw in Bunch, Oklahoma. After Charlie passed away, Jewel and her boys moved back to Logan when Bob was in the 8th grade, where he attended Logan Schools. While growing up, he worked several jobs including Clarence Fitzner’s gas station and Frank May’s gravel pit.Bob moved to Ohio when he was eighteen and began his life’s work as an iron worker and welder. He told many tales of his adventures. One day while at work setting beams on the fourth floor, he stepped back to admire his work, the only problem was he stepped into thin air. Needless to say, the fall was one that would affect him for the rest of his life, breaking both ankles and having many surgeries over the years. Bob came back to Logan/Nara Visa and stayed with his mother after one of the surgeries to recuperate. While there, Bob’s mom, Jewel encouraged Bob to call Janet as they were high school sweethearts. Bob made that call to Janet, and they rekindled their love for one another and were married on March 14, 1986. Bob and Janet built their home on the shores of Ute Lake where they enjoyed the next 38 years of their lives together. They cherished each other and their family and had many happy years together.Bob always had a project whether it was working at his shop, mowing his beautiful yard, or helping his children or friends with one of their projects. He loved sitting on the porch enjoying the outdoors or in their sunroom where he could watch what was happening on the lake with his “field glasses.” Bob is survived by the love of his life, Janet. He also leaves behind his children Doug Bradshaw, Mike and wife Vicki Bradshaw of Dayton, Ohio, Keith and Joyce Feerer, Russell and Kelley Feerer, and Robin and TJ Smith all of Logan, 11 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
