Emma attended school at Scott High School and later graduated from the Tyler County School of Vocational Nursing. She served her community as a licensed vocational nurse, was a member of the American Cancer Society, and an active member of the Hillister, Tx and Chesapeake, VA communities where she advocated for the homeless, hungry, and the elderly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Josephus Arline, brothers; Joe Harold, Harvey and Cloyd Hadnot, sisters; Margaret Christian and Maxine Hadnot.
She is survived by her children; Jannet Hawkins (Albert) of Elizabeth City, NC, Josef Arline of Crosby, Tx, Japhia Arline of Hillister, Tx, Valoria Arline of Chesapeake, VA, and Naomi Arline, of Beaumont, Tx grandchildren; Josalynn, Josephus II, Shayla, Salina, Shawn, Shawna and Nylah. Great grandchildren; Jacques and Josef II. Sisters; Nina Mae, Vivian Beverly, Mary, Josephine. Sister in- love Doris Tubbs, Brother; Marshall. Brother in-love Johnny Arline. Great-Aunt Rosie Jeffcoat. Many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends whom she loved and adored. There was also numerous Prayer warriors and missionaries with whom she prayed and stood in the gap for others daily.
She personally wanted to acknowledge her children and grandchildren, sisters and brother, Reverend Bobby and Ramona Cruse and the Little Baptist Missionary Baptist Church family, Bishop Anthony B. Rodgers, Pastor Darlene Rodgers and the Crestwood Baptist Church Restoration Center family, best friends Sammie Brown and Robbie Nichols.

Obituary Preview: Joe Gonzalez "GONZO" served honorable in the United States Navy for 23 years, retiring as an Aviation Boatswains Mate Aircraft Handler Second Class (ABH2). He served on various ships during his tenure including land bases in several locations as well as in Patrol Squadron 94 at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans until his retirement in 2003.
During his time in VP-94, Joe loved Launching and recovering P-3 Orion aircraft, often saying he had jet fuel running through his veins. He was an old school sailor’s, sailor of which we all looked up to, especially when the going got tough.
Joe was very proud of his accomplishments while serving his country and is what his shipmates would call a 110 percent American Patriot., He was knowledgeable in his work, and a helpful, patient mentor with younger sailors. Joe always wanted to ensure that new sailors had a positive attitude towards their Naval Service and pride in our great nation. He will be sorely missed by us all. Anyone that knew him Joe Gonzalez would always see him with a smile on his face, love in his heart for his fellow sailors and boundless pride in our country. As his fellow sailors muster the last call, “far winds and following seas” rest easy shipmate, we have the watch!!

On March 16,2022, in Kingwood Medical Center in Kingwood, Texas, our beloved left her earthly home behind Kimberly was preceded in death by her parents Beula Brooks and Charlie Minor Jr., and Brother Cedric O' Neil Brooks.
