Obituary Preview: Russell Landon Icenhour, Sr., 54, of Leesville passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024, following a brief illness. Born in Chester, PA, he was a son of JoAnn Julius and the late John T. Icenhour, Jr. Russell was the owner and former distributor of Pepperidge Farm Bread in the Lexington area where he was well known. He loved searching for the perfect antiques for his collection, listening to loud music, spoiling his dog, Lucy, and deer hunting. Russell was a man of God who loved his family and always had a smile.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Russell L. Icenhour, Jr. (Adriandne), and Joshua Icenhour (Kera) both of Elgin, SC; and Walt Lilly of Hartsville, SC; grandchildren, Mia, Sophie, Alandria, and Landrew Icenhour. He is also survived by his brothers, John T. Icenhour III and Scott A. Icenhour both of Leesville, SC; his partner, Debbie Kyzer; as well as many nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Alma Buchanan, William Buchanan, Phil Julius, Anna Mae Potter, Paul Potter, and John T. Icenhour, Sr.
The service for Mr. Icenhour will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 30th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with Pastor Judd Hook officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning, from 3 until 4 P.M. A private family burial will be held at Mount Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery, Aston, PA.

Obituary Preview: Dianne Griffin Jeffcoat, 66, of Leesville, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 14, 2024. Mrs. Jeffcoat was born in Sumter, SC, a daughter of the late Allen and Juanita Charles Griffin. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Sumter, SC. Her children and grandkids were her life. Mrs. Jeffcoat loved to bake, cook, go camping, and tend to her garden. She adored Christmas and Hallmark films.
Surviving are her children, April Hodge Harmon, James Hodge (Meghin Mobley), Robert Jeffcoat, Jason Jeffcoat (Ashley); along with her grandchildren, Carson, Parker, Paisley and Perryn Harmon, Olivia Mobley, Carter and Brantley Hodge, Katelyn Jeffcoat, and Jason Lee, Jordan and Julian Jeffcoat. Also surviving are her sister, Peggy Tedder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wayne Jeffcoat and brother, Allen "Woody" Griffin.
The funeral service for Mrs. Jeffcoat will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 17th. Pastor Wayne McElveen of Providence Baptist Church will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Beverly Ann Mincey - August 05, 1943 - January 10, 2024

Obituary Preview: Beverly Ann Mincey, 80, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 10, 2024 surrounded by her family at the Hospice House of the Piedmont in Greenwood, SC. She felt nothing but love and peace as her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ took her hand and led her home. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Lebanon Presbyterian Church in Winnsboro, SC, on Saturday, January 20th, at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Matthew Copin will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. before the service at the church. Milton Shealy Funeral Home of Batesburg is assisting the family.
Beverly was the eldest daughter of Ray and Doris DayWalt, and was born in Kingsland, GA. Growing up, she lived in St. Mary’s, GA, Charleston, SC, and Columbia, SC.
Beverly was loved by so many and enjoyed the friendships she created throughout her life. Over the years, she had fun traveling around and attending car shows with a special group of friends that helped to make Winnsboro her home. She attended Lebanon Presbyterian Church where she felt right at home. She was involved in many things there including the children’s ministry, her circle mission group, various Bible studies over the years, and she especially enjoyed decorating and assisting with the monthly senior lunches hosted by the church. Lebanon Presbyterian Church is a special place full of special people that loved and welcomed Beverly with open arms.
She enjoyed simple things like gardening, walking in her yard in the early morning to take in the sights and sounds, reading, working on crossword puzzles, spending time with family and friends, and baking, especially banana nut bread to share. Her grandchildren described her as unconditional, grateful, and determined. She continued to live out these qualities all the way to the end as she lived out her final days. She had a beautiful spirit that will live on in all of the people whose lives she touched.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Tammy Martin (Kyle) of Saluda, SC; her two grandchildren, Colby Strickland (Tommy) of Saluda, SC, and Cooper Martin (fiancé, Kelsie Wikins) of Charleston, SC; along with her great grandson, Reece Strickland of Saluda, SC. Other surviving family members that loved and cherished her were her cousins, Judy Laval and Carolyn Jacobs; special nieces and a nephew, Lisa Shealy and Eddie and Brandy Lovin; as well as her brother, Warren DayWalt (Polly) of Pensacola, Fl; and a sister, Tannis French of Pensacola, Fl. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Jerome Mincey; infant son, Russell Fields; brothers, Gene Hall, Carl DayWalt, and Ray DayWalt; and a sister, Dale Lewis.
A very special thank you goes to the staff on the 8th floor of Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC, and to the staff at the Hospice House of the Piedmont in Greenwood, SC. The love, care, compassion, and attention Beverly received while a patient at these places was incredible, and will never be forgotten. These remarkable staffs provided Beverly with the dignity, love, and care that everyone deserves in their final days. Her family will forever be grateful for the way she was cared for in her last days.

Obituary Preview: James Alfred Grimsley, 90, of Leesville, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Mr. Grimsley was born in Fairmont, NC, a son of the late Robert and Hattie Barnhill Grimsley. He was an United States Army Veteran. Mr. Grimsley loved his puppies, Maia and Sissy and his family. He was an avid Clemson Tiger Football and Carolina Panthers fan. Mr. Grimsley was a very hard worker who enjoyed going fishing and crabbing.
Surviving are his sons, Timothy Grimsley (Sheryl) and Jimmy Grimsley; grandchildren, Mandi Grimsley (Angel Cruz), Daniel Grimsley, Dylan Grimsley, Troy Grimsley (Shelby); and three great grandchildren, Landon, Liam, and Luka. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings.
A private service will be held for Mr. Grimsley at his residence on a later date.

John Mark Pullen - January 11, 1946 - January 09, 2024

Obituary Preview: John Mark Pullen, 77, of Aiken passed away on January 9, 2024. He was son of the late Stanley and Rita Pullen. John was a proud Navy Submarine Veteran (USS Simon Bolivar). He later went on to retire from the U.S. Department of Energy as a Nuclear Safety Engineer.
John was an avid reader, lover of history, meticulous storyteller, and Master Mr. Fix-It. He was always generous with his time and talents, and loved helping others. As someone who was passionate about education, John served as a substitute teacher after retirement. He was also an advocate for Released Time Bible Study for young people in nearby schools. John was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church.
John is survived by his wife, Anne; sons, Daniel and Daryl Pullen; step-daughters, Erica and Amanda Quattlebaum. Also surviving are his siblings, Dale Jean (DJ), Sharon, Jim, Terry, Greg, and Bill.
At John's request, no formal services will be held.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Clark; son, Shawn Clark; and grandchildren, Logan McCormick, Heaven Peterson, and Dean Dougherty. Also surviving are her brothers, Jamie Clark, Clayton Vaughn, and Melvin Vaughn; sisters, Amy Nettles, Tammy Slice, and Linda Vaughn; a special friend, Kim Harbert; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by brothers, David Clark and Tommy Vaughn.
The funeral service for Mrs. Clark will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, January 14th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with burial following in Florence Baptist Church Cemetery, 1720 Windy Wood Rd, Pelion, SC 29123. Pastor Irenne Derrick of Celebration Church Fellowship, Batesburg, will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Obituary Preview: Robert Otis Crouch, 80, of Leesville, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 7, 2024. Born in Saluda County, he was a son of the late Otis Odell and Ethel May Mills Crouch. Mr. Crouch retired as a locksmith from the University of South Carolina after 40 years of service. He was a volunteer fireman for the Circle Fire Department as well as a member of the Saluda Masonic Lodge 103. He was a faithful member of Union Lutheran Church of Leesville.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Snelgrove Crouch of the home; son, Tim Crouch; daughter, Lisa Oxley; grandson, Curtis Crouch and a sister, Ora Corley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Brunell Wightman, Arthur Dell Sweat, Anne Smith, and JD Shumpert.
The service for Mr. Crouch will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Union Lutheran Church with Pastor Lance Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2 until 3 pm in the sanctuary.

William had a love for classic cars and was a member of Redds Branch Baptist Church of Aiken. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Delena Griffith Mabus; daughters, Adrian Dorrough, Tiffany Mabus, Amber Mabus-Hearing and Delena Henry; grandchildren, Rhett, Ella, James Jr., and Zayda. He is also survived by his brother, Timothy Mabus; a sister, Tammy Roberts; as well as many extended family members.
A memorial service for Mr. Mabus will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, January 7th at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 607 S. Bethlehem Road, Batesburg, SC. The family will receive friends following the service.

Obituary Preview: James Benjamin Holton “Bennie”, 90, passed away Saturday, December 23rd, 2023. Bennie was born in Bacon County, Alma, GA to Mr. Benjamin Newton Holton and Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Norton Holton on February 7th, 1933.
Bennie graduated from Bacon County High School in 1950. After 3 years in service, he and his precious wife, Mary, were married and enjoyed 63 years of marriage together prior to her passing in April of 2019. Three daughters were born from this union— Beth (Ron) Kirkland, Betty (Leon) Addy, and Bridget (Denver) Cromer; five grandchildren— Brittney (Ben) Herlong, Brandon Addy, Blair (Justin) Long, Brad (Lauren) Addy, and Jackson Kirkland and the best great granddaughters— Addie Beth and Britton Ann Herlong. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Hartley Holton; sisters— Aliff (Freeman) Jowers, Beaunia Holton, Eula Mae (Joe) Powers, Iva Lee (Vernon) Thomas, Louveda (Raymond) Penfield, Mary Lorena Holton, Teresa (Clifton) Cotten, Virgie Holton; brothers— Harvey (Wilma) Holton and Lamar Holton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Bennie and Mary built their home in Batesburg, SC in 1959. He spent most of his working years with R.L. Bryan Company and retired in 1996. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, and working sudoku puzzles. He was known as “Granddaddy” to all who loved him. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Batesburg, SC where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and Choir Member. He was also a member at Big Creek Baptist Church in Alma, GA prior to moving to South Carolina.
The funeral service for Bennie will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 27th, at First Baptist Church of Batesburg with burial following in Batesburg Cemetery. The Rev. Henry Stamper and Rev. Neal Smith will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at the church. Active Pallbearers will be: Ben Herlong, Brad Addy, Brandon Addy, Freddie Holton, Jackson Kirkland and Justin Long. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Addie Beth and Britton Ann Herlong.

Allen Edward Duncan - December 16, 1944 - December 22, 2023

Obituary Preview: Allen Edward Duncan, 79, of Monetta, entered eternal rest after a valiant battle with diabetes. He was a son of the late Edward and Marion Cato Duncan. Allen was a member of St. John's Methodist Church, Batesburg, although attended Bethel Baptist Church faithfully with his beloved wife of 54 years, Judith Dancy Duncan. He was a loving husband and father. Allen lived his life as a happy, fun-loving person, who loved his family, animals and friends. His love of tractors and community service through organizations like the Saluda County Historical Society, and The American Legion, where he served as historian and many other duties, defined who Allen was as a family man and friend. Allen was also a member of the Army National Guard, and a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Allen retired from Bell South after 25 years of service and moved to his farm in Monetta.
In addition to his wife, Judith, he is survived by his daughter, Amiee Dancy Duncan; sister, Connie Duncan Johnson of Charlotte, NC and her daughter, Elizabeth Dennis; and brother, Andy Duncan (Sydney) of Frostburg, Maryland. Allen is also survived by extended family members, brother-in-law, Allen Dancy (Kathy) of Monetta and his sons, Brad Dancy (Casie) and their children Savanah, Drake and Dallas; Chad and his children, Olivia and Scott; special cousins, Elaine Bradley, Kelly Hagens-Swart and Michael Swart, and their son, Duncan Swart (fiancé Kaitlin) and daughter, Brooklyn.
A memorial service for Allen will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 3rd at Bethel Baptist Church. The reverend Preston West will officiate.

He was the owner and operator of Irby's Auto for 43 years. Mr. Goff loved to drag race and was one of the original members of the Quick 8 Outlaws. He loved spending time with his grandkids, especially riding bikes on the beach and camping.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Sandra D. Goff; son and daughter-in-law, William Todd Goff (Jessica); and grandkids, Caroline Grace and Reagan Elizabeth Goff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Preston Swancey, Billy Goff and Bobby Goff.
The funeral service for Mr. Goff will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 18th at Pond Branch United Methodist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Carl Kirkland Sr. - August 05, 1935 - December 11, 2023

Obituary Preview: Carl B. ”Buddy” Kirkland, Sr., 88, of Batesburg passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Lexington Medical Center after a brief illness. He was married to the late Shirley Quattlebaum Kirkland for 65 years until her death in June 2020. They had five children: Sharon Wash, Melanie Hall (Joseph), Carl Kirkland, Jr. (Martha), Ron Kirkland (Beth), and Brian Kirkland (Kristine) all of Batesburg. Buddy was blessed with 13 grandchildren, Amanda Hall Trotter (Trea), Mallory Hall Wilcox (Brandon), Erin Wash Mills (Jack), Brett Wash (Lisa), Brittney Kirkland Herlong (Ben), Blair Kirkland Long (Justin), Jackson Kirkland, Lindsay Kirkland, Alison Kirkland, Riley Kirkland, Evan Kirkland, and Julian Kirkland; as well as his 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Helen Kirkland Burkett of Leesville. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Joseph and Grace Padgett Kirkland of Monetta; grandson, Trae Kirkland; siblings, Eldred Joseph Kirkland (Celia), Claudine Kirkland Butler (Roy); and a brother-in-law, Roy Burkett.
After graduating from Monetta High School, Buddy went to work at Savannah River Plant until his retirement. For many years, he participated in Dixie Youth Baseball, where he coached his sons, Carl and Ron and later his son, Brian. He loved baseball and football and was an avid Gamecock fan. Buddy was a member of East Side Baptist Church, where he served as deacon, he was on the finance committee and the Tape Room staff. After the passing of his wife, he stuck close to home, where he enjoyed watching reruns of Gunsmoke and the Waltons, and on Monday nights the Antiques Roadshow. Most of his outings centered around doctors’ appointments, visits to the barbershop and to the cemetery to visit his beloved wife.
The funeral services for Buddy will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 15th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Christ the Good Shepherd Mausoleum in Ridge Crest Memorial Park. The Rev. Robert Culbertson will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service from 1 until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be: Trea Trotter, Brett Wash, Jackson Kirkland, Brandon Wilcox, Ben Herlong, Justin Long, and Skyler Trotter. Honorary pallbearers will be: Riley Kirkland, Evan Kirkland, Julian Kirkland and Sawyer Wash.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ripley was preceded in death by her husband, William "Rip" Ripley; son, Bennie Walker; daughter, Darlene Holley; and grandson, Ricky Pou.

Obituary Preview: Our mother, Girlie Turner Temples, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023. She was born November 18, 1923 and recently celebrated her 100th birthday surrounded by family and friends. She was the daughter of Rennie and Gertrude Feaster Turner. She grew up in the Sardis community in Saluda, SC and graduated from Sardis High School. She married Ellis Fuller Temples and the couple lived in West Columbia and raised five children. Mrs. Temples was a docent at the Columbia Art Museum and a volunteer at the Lexington County Hospital when her children were older. When the couple retired, they moved to Saluda, SC and lived on Britt Wood South Carolina Century Farm. Her husband predeceased her in June of 2020. They were married for 79 years.
She was the matriarch of this family that grew to be very large. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Girlie was an avid reader and had a passion for the preservation of historical artifacts. She was a wonderful quilter and handmade a quilt for each person in her family including a great great grandchild that will be born later this month. She had a sharp mind and always loved to solve crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Girlie loved nature which included watching birds and growing many varieties of flowers. Ellis and Girlie Temples were lifelong Baptists and were members of Northside Baptist Church and Sardis Baptist Church. They loved the Lord and were always studying his word. Girlie loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Ellis and Girlie often attended many grandparents' days, dance recitals, sporting events, birthday parties and baby showers. She loved to host family dinners at her home and attend family events and parties.
She is survived by her daughter, Eva Lynn Temples Hill (Len); and four sons, Leon Fuller Temples, Samuel Ellis Temples (Robin), Jesse William Temples (Debra), and Joel Smith Temples (Linda). She left behind 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Girlie Temples is survived by her only sister, Helen Keller Shealy and was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Maurice Turner. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. We especially want to express our appreciation to her great niece, Sharon Brazel, her longtime caregiver.
The memorial service for Girlie will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 10th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with a private family graveside service following in Ridge Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, great grandchildren and spouses.

He served in the US Air Force for 20 years and 6 months, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant (E-8). Throughout his life, he enjoyed woodworking as his grandfather and uncles were carpenters. He was a graduate of The University of West Florida. His family continues to enjoy using the bookcases, toy boxes, and other doll furnishings. He was an avid reader. He was an Episcopalian. He was a member of The Richland/Lexington Republican First Tuesday group and had been a member of the Lexington Chapter of the SC Wildlife Association.
Ernest is survived by his partner, Anna Taylor Blythe, and her children, JoAn Baxter Roland (Sam), and their sons, Sammy (Ashley), and Matt; James “Bo” Baxter (Rose), and Savanna Baxter; Hugh Baxter (Michele) and their children, Hannah (Parker), Taylor Baxter (Katie), and Curtis; Baylee Ann Okon, and her sons; his sister, Anne Marie Guay Kaplan, and her two grandsons; and granddaughter, Rylee Kaplan and son, Joseph “Joe”; his son, Michael Guay (Heather), and their sons, Sean and Evan; his late wife’s children, whom he loved as if they were his own, Pam Anderson, Richard Schumpert (Kim), and Marty Schumpert, and their children and grandchildren, Karly Long Richardson (Tyler), and their children, Wyatt, Allie, and soon to be twins; Kristy Long, and her children, Dylan Williams, Taylor Michael, Aubrey Harmon, and Jamie Moore; Bobby “BJ” Long, Jr. (Felicia), and their girls, Farah and Brayla Long; Jeremey Shumpert, Chelsea, Summer, and Matthew Schumpert, Aaron, Blake, and Laken Schumpert; his nephew, Joseph and his family; and his sister-in-law, Grace Bartly, and her family.
Ernest was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Norman Guay, and his late wife, Sandra Gail Miller Guay.

She is also survived by her brother, Alton Cockrell (Maureen); and sister, Frances Storey (Carl). In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Lott; son, Robbie Caughman; brothers, John Earl, Marvin, Virgil, Hoyt; and sisters, Louise, Mildred and Rae.

Kattenburg and Mary Louise Clark Kattenburg of Columbia, SC. As a child, John traveled the world with his mother, father, and four siblings, following their diplomatic father who worked for the United States government as a foreign service officer. They lived at posts in Manila, The Philippine Islands, Frankfurt, Germany, and Guyana, South America.
As an adult, John pursued several occupations ranging from serving in the United States Army, owning a franchised business, and being a truck driver. However, his true lifelong passion was being a musician, specifically playing the drums. He was a well-known drummer in the Columbia area for 40 years. The only thing he loved more than playing the drums were long phone conversations with his family.
Surviving are John's four children, John Paul Kattenburg of Ocracoke, NC, Michael Kattenburg of New York, NY, Darlah and Jessica Kattenburg of Batesburg-Leesville, SC; as well as his six grandchildren, Elsie and Finn Kattenburg; Dylan Caughman, Calla Wood and Inman and Jonni Mae Burkett. He is also survived by his siblings, Richard "Rick" Kattenburg (Candi) of Martinez, CA, Jeanne Kattenburg Carlton (Robert) of Monument, CO, and Charles "Chuck" Kattenburg of Columbia, SC; five nephews; one niece; and his longtime friend and companion, Pam Chappell of Columbia, SC. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by the eldest of his siblings, Philip "Clark" Kattenburg (Pam) of Oakton, VA, who passed away this year.

She was born on October 29, 1932 in Newberry, SC, and was a daughter of the late Julian A. and Leila Brooks West. She was the third of six children. Faye was a graduate of Hollywood High School and Winthrop College and taught elementary school for thirty years in Aiken, Edgefield, and Lexington County School Districts.
She was an active member of Ridge Spring Baptist Church where she taught a Sunday School class in the Children’s department and an Adult Women’s Sunday School class for many years. Faye was also a member of the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU).
Faye was also active in the community where she enjoyed being a member of the Woman’s Study Club of Ridge Spring, the Ridge Garden Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Alpha Tau Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, a society of women educators. She was an avid Gamecock fan and enjoyed attending many football and basketball games. Faye loved traveling and took many bus trips across the US with her friends during her retirement. Faye was an amazing southern cook and made the best macaroni pie for gatherings.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Lamar Powell; three sisters, Julette Leavell, Eleanor Reed, and Nell Gantt; and one brother, Jake William West.
She is survived by her four daughters: Jane Tomlinson (Russell) of Irmo, SC, Cathy Addison (Walter) of Eatonton, GA, Beth Powell of Aiken, SC, and Amy Windhorn of Irmo, SC; one sister, Mamie Longshore (Jimmy) of Newberry, SC; and her nine grandchildren, Jennifer T. Allen (Michael), Russ Tomlinson (Becca), Jake Tomlinson (Ashley), Walt Addison (Whitney), John Addison, Jack Addison, Jessica Young (Josh), Michael Windhorn, Matthew Windhorn; and her eleven great-grandchildren, Olivia, Bennett, and Wesley Allen; Everett, Sutton, Salters, and Chandler Tomlinson; Frances Jane Tomlinson, and Landen, Colten, and Payten Young. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Mrs. Powell will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 18th at Ridge Spring Baptist Church with burial to follow in Ridge Spring Cemetery. Rev. Wesley Mayfield will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M. in Ridge Spring Baptist Church Education Building. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to The Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, PO Box 1178, Greenwood, SC 29648-1178 or Ridge Spring Baptist Church, PO Box 364, Ridge Spring, SC 29129.
