She was passionate about genealogy, history, sports, and taking trips or spending time with her best girl friends and family. She was all Tennessee Vol but loved her Memphis Tigers basketball, and Atlanta Braves like her dad.She was born on June 6, 1951 in Humboldt, Tennessee to the late Delbert Young and Alpine Williams Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Larry Young and Charles Young.She is survived by her daughter, Heather Harris and her husband James of Medina; sister, Donna Minton and her husband Ronnie of Rutherford; and three grandchildren, Bryson Williams, Jesse Harris and Hayley Harris.Mom has always been a giver, just like her mom. Even in her passing, she is still giving. Several years ago, Mom chose to donate her body to the Forensic Anthropology Center at the University of Tennessee. Bryson has found some comfort knowing they will be at the same place for the next few years.
