She was born in Quanah, Texas to Doyle and Helen Mae Hall Bullock on August 28, 1935. She graduated from Graham High School in 1953, working at the Bell Telephone Company in Graham after graduating. She was married to Guy Freeman Farquharson for 67 years and they lived an adventurous life, building tool rental shops, car washes and real estate in Texas, Arkansas, and Colorado. Doylene was an avid sportsman, loving to hunt and fish. She was preceded in death by her two sons: Joe Doyle Farquharson and Tony Paul Farquharson; and her parents: Doyle and Helen Hall Bullock.
Survivors include her husband: Guy Freeman Farquharson; brother: Greg Bullock and wife Christy; grandson: Jud Poulter and wife Kate; great-grandchildren: Mason, Chase, and Sierra Poulter; and daughter-in-law: Merideth Farquharson.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Pioneer Cemetery, Graham, Texas under the direction of McMillan Satterwhite Funeral Home.
She will be missed by her family and friends and we will cherish the times we had with her.

Geraldine was born in Santa Clara, California to the late James Frazier and Mozell Holloway Frazier Barnett. She married the love of her life, Donnie Cox Sr. on May 24, 1976 in Graham, Texas. They had 48 wonderful years together.
She was a CNA for many years working in Graham before moving to Mineral Wells, where she worked in housekeeping until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: James when he was an infant, and Bobby Frazier; grandson Allen Garibay; and great-grandson: Adrian Jackson.
She is survived by her husband: Donnie Cox, Sr.; daughters: Mary Pierce and husband Harley of Greenville, Texas, Linda Blaylock and husband Steve of Seymour, and Brenda Hopper of Mineral Wells; son: Junior Garibay and wife Lucy ; stepsons: Donnie Cox, Jr. and Travis Cox, all of Olney; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren;1 great-great-grandchild; aunt: Ruth Carver of Graham; brothers: David Frazier and wife Susan of Snyder and Eddie Frazier of Mineral Wells; sister: Marie Smith of Mineral Wells; brother-in-law: Earnest Cox and wife Betty of Graham; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was a true homesteader as she canned her food, milked the cows, gathered the eggs, and even picked out the chicken that was going to be Sunday dinner. She loved her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved all the family get togethers. She was a member of the Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Cariel Hardin; brother: Johnny Sherrill; sisters: Beulah Faye Callahan, Veta Mae Wells, and Charlotte Rowe.
Survivors include her sons: Danny Hardin and wife Melissa and Ronnie Hardin and wife Traci, all of Newcastle; daughters: Carla Short and husband Ronnie and Cindy Hager, all of Newcastle; brothers: James Sherrill of Sweetwater and Billy Gene Sherrill of Olney; 20 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Obituary Preview: Juanita Ramsey went home to be with the Lord on April 4, 2024. She was born on December 13, 1930 in Tucumcari, New Mexico to the late Claud and Minnie Brown. She was married to A.L. Ramsey on December 5, 1948 in House, New Mexico. He preceded her in death in 2005. They moved to Graham in 1951 where they would raise their four children. On March 27, 1956, Juanita and her husband A.L. were both saved and then later baptized on April 29, 1956 at Morningside Baptist Church. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
She was the owner and operator of Ramsey’s Lock and Key for over 20 years, with help from her youngest son, Floyd Ramsey. Her husband, A.L. Ramsey ran his barber shop in the same building.
She was preceded in death by her husband A.L. Ramsey; two sons: James Claud and Leslie Earl Ramsey; two grandchildren: Susan Minnie Ramsey, and Edward (Eddie) Paul Worth; one great-grandchild: Elizabeth Ann Worth; daughter-in-law: Darlene Ramsey, Debbie Wilson (life partner of Allen Ramsey); and one brother: Kenneth Brown.
Survivors include her daughters: Dollie Fields and husband Wayne of Nikolaevsk, Alaska, Wynina (Nina) Slater and husband John of Red Top, Texas; sons: Allen Ramsey of Henrietta, Texas, Floyd Ramsey and wife Mary of Graham; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

She is survived by Brother in law, Terry Napier of Graham, Grandkids Jacob Martinez , Jessie Napier of Wichita Falls, Eli Martinez of Graham TX and Cheyenne Dishman of Graham TX . Great grandkids include Jaylee, Caden and Kyler of Graham Tx. Many great nieces and nephews.

Jack Baxter - January 17, 1934 - April 04, 2024

Obituary Preview: After a long battle with congestive heart failure, at the age of 90, Jack Donald "Don" Baxter passed at Audie Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio Texas on April 4, 2024.
Don was born in Olney, Texas on January 17, 1934, and like many families at that time, the Baxter’s moved around West Texas working the cotton fields and oil fields. Don started picking cotton at 8 years old and was running an oil crew at 17. As soon as Don turned 18, he joined the Navy and served on the USS Essex, where he roamed the world.
Returning to Graham, he met and married Wanda Freeze Hogan on Oct. 3, 1956. The couple and 3 children moved to Dallas where Don joined and then retired after 25 years from the Dallas Fire Department. Don was a contractor and entrepreneur, and a Jack of all trades. He was never still, always moving to create new business opportunities. Don loved music, family, and anything that put him outdoors in the sun. His grandchildren were the loves of his life. He was the center of everyone’s lives and loved beyond imagination.
Don is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Pearl Baxter, his father Holloway (Jock) Sanders Baxter, and mother Edith Littlejohn Baxter. Also, nephews David Baxter, Jimmy Baxter, Jackie Baxter, and Shane Bowen. Don is survived by his brothers, Elick Baxter of Tool TX, James Baxter of Spout Springs VA, Ray Baxter of Orlando Fl. and a sister Pam Bowen of Mabank TX. He was a wonderful father, leaving behind a son Edward Baxter, and two daughters, Jeanell Morse and Rodney of Saraland AL, and Tammy Stewart and Dave of Seguin TX. He leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at noon on Friday, April 12, 2024, at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home in Graham, Texas, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Wayne Hardin officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Belknap Cemetery near Graham.
His family will be present to welcome friends and loved ones.

Brenda Joyce (The General) Reynolds Ball - December 07, 1947 - March 08, 2024

Obituary Preview: Brenda Joyce Ball” The General”, 76 of Breckenridge died on March 8, 2024 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Keller, Texas.
The daughter of Gladys and Walter J Reynolds, Brenda was born in Breckenridge, Texas on December 7, 1947. She graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1966. Brenda’s passion was serving people, first in the restaurant industry at the Dairy Delight, Dairy Mart, and Chaparral, and later in the dental profession for almost 50 years. For the last 6 years, she continued serving her community by working as a contract rural carrier delivering the mail to customers in Stephens and Young Counties.
Brenda’s home was a favorite gathering place for nieces, nephews, friends, and neighborhood children, many of whom enjoyed her Sunday afternoon roast, homemade banana pudding, handmade Christmas candies, and homemade pies. Brenda always had an extra plate for any last-minute guest.
Brenda was a member of the Lord’s Old Time Gospel Church in Breckenridge. While a member, she helped in the children’s Sunday school program and youth fellowship groups. Brenda made sure the church alter was adorned with fresh flowers for Sunday morning and sang in the church choir often performing with her sisters. Later, she attended Cedar Springs United Methodist Church.
Brenda’s creative talents included calligraphy, abstract art, and photography. She enjoyed being outdoors and taking care of her animals, which include her horses, cattle, chickens, guineas, cats, dogs, and pigs. She took great care in naming and caring for each of these animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter J and Gladys Hash Reynolds, two sisters, Billie Louise Reynolds and Barbara Reed, two brothers Wayne and Clarence Reynolds, four brothers-in-law, Roy Edgar, Jerry York, Leslie Schkade, and Don Reed, one niece, Tina Reynolds, and one nephew, Clay Schkade.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald Ralph Ball of Breckenridge, a son, Jeff and daughter-in-law Ashley Ball of Keller. Grandchildren include Salina Ball and Warren Payne of League City and Ashlynn Ball of Keller and one great grandson, Alton Warren Payne IV of League City. She is also survived by three sisters, Janett Schkade of San Angelo, Patsy York of Breckenridge, Nancy and husband Mike Hughes of Breckenridge, one brother, Larry Reynolds and wife Deborah of Breckenridge, sisters-in-law, Cynthia Reynolds and Jeanne Reynolds of Breckenridge, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will take place at 2:00 pm on March 11, 2024 at the Reynolds Cemetery in Young County with Mike Spencer and Tom Beaty officiating.
Pallbearers include Roy Hughes, Dusty Hughes, Scotty Reynolds, Greg Schkade, Tommy Reynolds, Jeremy Edgar, and Jaime Mendez. Honorary pallbearers are Dickie Edgar and Wayne Schkade.
Memorials may be made to the Breckenridge Medical Center and Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene, Texas.

Judy was born on November 14, 1947 in Perryton, Texas to Ivan and Bertha Green Gilbert. She married Tommy Newsom. She was a natural born caretaker as she loved cooking for and feeding people. She was one of the best fry cooks around, but could cook anything. She was well known at Dinner Bell Café for the eggs and breakfasts she cooked. She was also seen at the Young County Arena where she cooked in the concession stand for every event they had. She was adventurous, doing things like skydiving at 71, and ziplining for a mile in Costa Rica at 73. She was passionate about all things family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of New Life Christian Church, Linden, Tennessee.
Dr. Lucas said that Judy was one of the best people he has ever known, that her glass was always half full, she had an infectious laugh, loved life and her family. We’ll all miss her.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband: Tommy Newsom in 2017; sons Billy Jack and Tony; brother: Bill Gilbert; and her parents: Ivan Gilbert and Bertha Green Gilbert.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Jo Deana Woolley and husband Danny and Amy King and husband Jody; daughter-in-law: Jenny Newsom; brother: Arthur (Pete) Gilbert; grandchildren: Micah Newsom and wife Brittany, Gina Altum and husband Sammy, Kristin Woolley and husband David, Kimberly Fingerson and husband Cory, Alyssa Woolley, Chelsea Kettell and husband Clayton and Tyler King; numerous great grandchildren and many, many more friends of grandchildren that stole her heart and was claimed as their “Nae”.

He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Graham. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Patrick Jerome Rice and his maternal grandmother: Patricia Muir Cherry.
Survivors include his parents: Chris and Barbara Rice of Graham, paternal grandmother: Vivian Rice of Markley; maternal grandfather: Michael Cherry of Wichita Falls, Texas; brothers and sisters: Stephen Jerome Rice, Emily Joy Elizabeth Rice Hines, husband William, and their daughter: Hannah, Aaron Patrick Rice and wife Faith, Philip Christopher Rice, wife Melanie, and their son Brayden, and Nathan Samuel Rice, all of Graham, Texas.
