He was born in Detroit, MI October 26th, 1959, and adopted months later by Arthur “Art” and Lillian (Helmes) Anderson. Pete was a carpenter and caregiver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gathering with family and friends, and sharing his many interesting adventures. Anyone who knew him would say if they needed help he would be there. He loved being in nature and being around animals, especially the many great pets he had through the years.
