She was born on April 4, 1933 in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Max and Sadie Manacher.
On February 28, 1954 in Baltimore; she married Jerome Fishkin who preceded her in death on June 15, 2018.
She was a former member of the Coffee Cup Bowling League and a past volunteer at the Bradford Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Temple Beth El. She enjoyed reading and being a member of several book clubs.
She was employed by the former Hounds and Hares Magazine as a secretary for ten years as well as being a homemaker all her life.
She is survived by one son, Steven (Kye) Fishkin of Bradford; two grandsons, Justin (Alisa) Fishkin of Kernersville, NC and Aaron Fishkin of Pittsburgh; one granddaughter, Dana Ryan of Colorado Springs, CO; three great grandsons, Cooper, Mason and Gavin Ryan of Colorado Springs as well as another on the way.
In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Marlene Berkowitz; one brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Private burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

He was born on October 3, 1947 in Kane, a son of the late Roy and Janet Vaughan Ordiway.
He was a 1965 graduate of the Smethport High School.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War; serving from July 1966 until his honorable discharge in February 1970.
He was a life member of the VFW Post 2497, Smethport.
He was employed by Pennzoil, Bradford, for twenty years prior to working at various other jobs in the area.
He is survived by three sisters, Jackie Lindquist of Bradford, Judy (Garry) Moyer of Aiken and Sue (John) Ruffner of Aiken; one brother, Richard (Kelly) Ordiway of Tarpon Springs, FL and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents; he was also preceded in death by one niece, Shelley Moyer and one brother-in-law, Larry Lindquist.
Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

He was born on May 3, 1935 in Bradford, a son of the late Dominic and Susan Accurso Luzzi.
He is survived by one brother, Louis (Jane) Luzzi of Bradford and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his parents; he was also preceded in death by five brothers, Dominic Luzzi, Jr., Joseph Luzzi, Alphonso Luzzi, Michael Luzzi and Anthony Luzzi and two sisters, Josephine Luzzi and Lena Durnein.
At his request private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Obituary Preview: Joan Christine Stiver, 84, born on June 10,1939, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. She was the cherished wife of Tom Stiver for 53 years and a devoted mother to four children. Born to loving parents, Harold “Copey” and Rose Anderson, who preceded her in death along with an infant brother, Arthur. Joan grew up in a close-knit and fun family of seven siblings, along with their loving spouses, and many nieces and nephews. Together, they shared countless cherished memories, forming unbreakable bonds within both the Anderson and Stiver families. She leaves behind a legacy of closeness and care that defined her family's bond.
Her eldest son, Ron, who passed just 10 months ago, remained especially endeared to her heart. Ron's wife, Sharon, has been a guardian angel on earth, providing comfort and support along with their beautiful son and Joan’s grandson, Josh. Her daughters, Robin (Carmen) DeStevens and Bunny Comilla have always been her unwavering pillars of support, overflowing with boundless love and affection. Her grandchildren, Angie (Dave) Sheeley and Nick Comilla along with her great-grandchildren Cami & Ellie Sheeley, were all constant sources of laughter and joy, infusing her life with vibrant energy and happy moments. Son, Jim Stiver and granddaughter Sydney were also loved members of her family.
Family was the cornerstone of Joan's life, and she treasured every moment spent with her loved ones. She took immense pride in her children and found strength in raising them to be resilient and independent individuals. Her love knew no bounds, extending to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy into her life.
In her leisure time, Joan found happiness in simple pleasures like Buffalo Bills football, bingo and visits to the casino. But her greatest joy came from helping others. Joan retired from Zippo Manufacturing after over 42 years and spent the next chapter working in daycare, she poured her heart into nurturing and loving the little ones around her. Her compassion and warmth touched countless lives, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Bradford Ecumenical Home who provided exceptional care and comfort to Joan during her stay.
Though Joan may no longer be with us in body, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to family that will continue to inspire generations to come.

He was a cook for Glendorn and the Penn Hills Club as well as several other local restaurants over the years. He was most recently employed by Georgia Pacific, Bradford.
In addition to his parents, Jack Morrison, Jr. and Michelle Crocker both of Bradford; he is also survived by one daughter, Willow Switzer of Bradford; two sons, AJ Morrison of Coudersport and Beau Morrison of Pittsburgh; one sister, Andrea (Adam) Raught of Blossburg; one brother, Phillip (Cassandra) Crocker of Fort Smith, AR and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jack Morrison, Sr. and Helen Morrison and his maternal grandparents, Andrew Roeder and Donna Steck.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the VFW Post 212 Event Center.
Private burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.

Born on September 1, 1940, in Akron, Ohio. Joan was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Joan was an avid bridge player and master knitter. She dedicated her life to sharing her passion for knitting by teaching and mentoring numerous individuals. Her kindness and patience touched the lives of many. Her wish to be remembered in life as a loving wife and mother goes without question.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 and one-half years, David L. Debolt; her daughter Kathleen (David) Jarzabek; grandchildren, Louis and Lillian Jarzabek and her brother, Jack (Rita) Hoffman of Omaha, Neb.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Lucile Noland Hoffman and Allen S. Hoffman.
Joan attended Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio.
Private services will be held at a later date to honor and celebrate Joan’s life.

She was a proud graduate of the Otto-Eldred School District.
On October 12, 1997 she married Raymond P. Burlingame who preceded her in death on February 14, 2024.
She was a member of the Smethport American Legion Auxiliary Post 138 and the Bucktail Club, Smethport. She was also the former “First Lady” of the Men’s Room, Hilton, NY.
She was employed by various area businesses including, the Former Ethan Allen, W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery and the former Viko furniture factory. But she considered being a loving mother and wife to be her greatest job.
She is survived by four children, Linda Torres of Fort Lauderdale, FL, John Sheffer of Smethport, Tim (Dianne) Sheffer of Eldred and Bill (Ruby) Sheffer of Portville, NY; four siblings, Wilbur (Barb) Roberts of Eldred, Beverly (Bill) List of West Henrietta, NY, Bob (Kathy) Roberts of Dundee, NY and Dick Roberts of Nogales, AZ; four grandchildren, William Michael Sheffer, Jordyn Taylor Sheffer, Timothy “TJ” Sheffer and Kiesha “Angel” Sheffer and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by one brother, Howard Roberts, one sister, Dawn Taylor and one brother-in-law, Tony Taylor.

He was born on October 16, 1952 in Bradford, the son of the late Francis and Esther Doriguzzi Langianese.
He was a graduate of the former Bradford Central Christian High School.
On September 9, 1978 in Bradford, he married Roxanne M. Cary; who survives.
Richard was an avid golfer and he especially enjoyed his fishing trips to Canada with his friends. He was also a former member of the Pine Acres Country Club.
He worked for the State of Pennsylvania for 36 years; starting with the local tax office and retiring from the Pennsylvania Lottery in 2010. He was also one of the co-founders of the former Carnegie’s Restaurant.
In addition to his wife of 45 years, Roxanne Langianese of Lewis Run, he is also survived by three children, Jason (Roselyn) Langianese of Bedford, NH, Daniella Langianese of Lewis Run and Colton (Kai Torres) Langianese of Bloomfield, NJ; four grandchildren, Brooke, Colin, Aisley and Cambria and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to a celebration of Richard's life on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Afterwards Club at Beefeaters Restaurant.

He was a U.S. Army veteran who served from September 1976 until his honorable discharge in December 1979.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Darlene McMahon of Bradford; three daughters, Candy Sikes, Bobbi Jo (Chris) Wixson and Tammy McMahon all of Bradford; one sister, Nancy (Jack) Crum of Rew; four grandchildren, Jessica McMahon, James McMahon, Amber Gamble and Ashley Wixson; ten great grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents; he was also preceded in death by two brothers.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.

She is survived by one son, David (Sheri) Murphy of Findlay, OH; two daughters, Kathleen (Maurice) Sadowsky of Bear, DE and Debra (Karl) Johnson of Finleyville; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by one sister, Marjorie Borman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Mascho Funeral Home with a Mass a Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 16, in the St. Bernard Catholic Church with the Rev. James Gutting, senior associate pastor, as celebrant.
Burial and committal services will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

On July 26, 1975 in Allendale, NJ, he married Diane E. Hartman who preceded him in death on May 11, 2017.
He was a truckdriver for the former NBS Trucking and Kightlinger Trucking until his retirement.
He is survived by three stepsons, Dirk Rodriguez of Ventura, CA, Mark Rodriguez of Las Vegas, NV and Michael Rodriguez of Bradford; two brothers, David Alward of Tucson, AZ and Peter Alward of Salt Lake City, UT; three granddaughters; two great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife he was also preceded in death by one brother, Thilander R. Alward.
At the family’s request there will be no funeral services.
Private burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.

He was a member of the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers for 50+ years. He was the former “President” of the Men’s Room, Hilton, NY and he was an avid fisherman.
He was employed by the Leo J. Roth Corp., Webster, NY for 30 years; retiring in 1993.
In addition to his wife of twenty-six years, Genevieve Burlingame of Smethport he is also survived by four children, Linda Torres of Fort Lauderdale, FL, John Sheffer of Smethport, Tim (Dianne) Sheffer of Eldred and Bill (Ruby) Sheffer of Portville, NY; one sister, Elaine (Larry) Nelson of Albuquerque, NM; four grandchildren, William Michael Sheffer, Jordyn Taylor Sheffer, Timothy “TJ” Sheffer and Kiesha “Angel” Sheffer and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents; he was also preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.

Obituary Preview: Jean Barbara English, long-time resident of Derrick City, died peacefully at home on February 13, 2024 with her son, Ed Jr. at her side.
She was born on March 28, 1941 in Grove City to the late Emma and Sidney Beckwith.
She was married for 54 years to Edward English, Sr., who preceded her in death in 2012.
Jean will be remembered for her kind spirit, loving heart, grace, generosity and delicious dinners and homemade pies. That spirit is why we are so fortunate to have been in her life and to have been loved by her. She gave of herself with no hesitation – always humble and gracious with a twinkle in her eyes. She showed her love in her ready smile, her optimism and her gift of hospitality. So, we are left here, missing her, yet knowing she is in her new home with her Savior.
She was employed as a cook at the former Peterson’s Store, the Bradford Hospital, the Bradford Ecumenical Home and Chapel Ridge.
She is survived by her son, Edward English, Jr.; twin sister, Joanne Roeder; sister, Faith Hughes; sister-in-law, Jean English; several cousins, nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
In remembrance, the family suggests gifts be made to the Bradford Alliance Church, 240 Minard Run Rd., Bradford, PA 16701, the McKean County SPCA, P.O. Box 113, Bradford, PA 16701 or a charity of the donor’s choice.

He was born on August 25, 1961 in Indianapolis, a son of Wilber and Madelin Blue Allison of Indianapolis.
He was a 1979 graduate of the Ben Davis High School, Indianapolis.
On June 15, 2019 in Bradford, he married Colleen C. McDonald who survives.
He was a member of the local Eagles club. He was an avid fisherman and NASCAR fan. He loved to cook and smoke food for his friends and family as well as spending time at the “A Frame Camp” at Cataract Lake, Poland, IN.
After moving to the Bradford area; he worked at Bradford Forest Products up until he had to leave due to his illness.
In addition to his parents and wife of four years, Colleen Allison of Bradford, he is also survived by one son, Jeremy Allison; one daughter, Jennifer Allison; one brother, Michael (Rocky) Allison and one nephew, Michael Allison all of Indiana.
A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.

On June 8, 2001 in Limestone, NY, she married Christopher M. VanCise; who survives.
Sarah enjoyed reading and camping; she especially loved spending time with her family. She was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, NASCAR; in particularly Jeff Gordon and she loved listening to Blake Shelton. She also loved her dog “George” and her cat “Bunny”.
In addition to her husband of 22 years, Christopher VanCise of Bradford she is also survived by four children, Richard Miller, Sarah (Richard) Schoonover, Amanda (Travis) Tucker-Snyder and Doug Hepfner all of Bradford; three stepchildren, Thea Vossler of Ohio, Tori (Teddy) Bryant of Bradford and Michael VanCise of Eldred; five siblings, Robert Nichols of Port Allegany, Frances (John) Kohl of Bradford, Christine (Francis Durnein) Miller of Bradford, Carol (David) Schoonover of Rixford and Francis Miller, Jr. of Bradford; twelve grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents; she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Heather Tucker; two brothers, Keith Nichols and William Miller and one sister, Mary Nichols.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc. with the Rev. Ricky Price, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery.

In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
At the family’s request there will be no funeral services.

Scott was born on April 8, 1971, in Erie, PA. He was the beloved son on the late Ronald J. and Peggy Comita Bebko. Scott graduated in 1989 from Cathedral Preparatory School in Erie. He then attended Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, where he pledged and became an Active in the Alpha Phi Omega (ABN) fraternity organization. This was one of the most pivotal and happy times in Scott’s life, and where he made lifelong friends.
Scott lived in Richmond, Virginia for 5 years, where he worked for Time-Life. After moving back to Olean, NY in 1999, Scott met the love of his life, his wife, Lori. On August 21, 2004, they were married in Allegheny State Park. They were each other’s best friend.
Scott worked in many trades, with the majority being in sales. He was employed by Bradford Forest Products, Autozone, Walmart, and then found his calling at Keystone Powdered Metal in Lewis Run, Pennsylvania. He was employed as a CNC Operator at the time of his death.
Scott was the epitome of honor, loyalty, and goodness. Anyone who met him was better for having the opportunity. His love and expertise at Magic the Gathering and D&D was legendary.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 20 years, Lori Bebko, of Bradford, his mother, Peggy Bebko, and his brother Adam Bebko, both of Erie. Scott had two daughters who he loved unconditionally, Sadie (Dylan) Shaw of Olean, NY, and Camille Bebko, of New Bern, NC. He is also survived by his five children who felt blessed to call him their father: Amanda Boon, of Bradford, Heather (James) Varner, of Williston, Fl; Zachary (Tiffany) Boon, of Waterford, PA; Benjamin Boon, of Bradford, and Kaitlin (Maxwell) Cercone, of Longmont, CO. Scott’s greatest joy was being “Grandpa” to 16 grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his father, Ronald, and his brother-in-law, Charles Barr.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mascho Funeral Home in Bradford.
There will be a private gathering for family and then a public gathering at the Magic Bean in Bradford, which will be announced.

Obituary Preview: It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of the much-loved Dennis Craig Stromberg, age 78 of Bradford, PA. Dennis was born in Bradford on July 22, 1945 to Sarah Thurley Dennis Stromberg and John Raymond Theodore Stromberg.
He attended Bradford schools, graduating with the Bradford Area High School class of 1964. From there, he attended Macalester College, Minneapolis Minnesota, and the American Management Association, Saranac Lake, NY, receiving a Masters Certificate in business management.
Dennis began a wonderful career in executive sales and marketing as a trainee for the Caterpillar corporation, Peoria Illinois. With his work there and with other construction equipment companies he lived in various countries in Europe for twenty years (Switzerland, Spain, England, Netherlands) with business territories covering Europe and the Middle East.
Dennis was adventurous in spirit and in action. He loved travel, was a car enthusiast, skier, passionate sailor and reader with an extraordinary ability to recall detail. Most recently he served as President of the Kiwanis Club of Bradford and was an avid supporter of its important mission to serve children of our community. Naturally outgoing, he easily formed and retained many long-term friendships throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Huff Stromberg, two sons: Erik (Melissa) Stromberg of Getigne, France and Dirk (Sheryl) Stromberg of Singapore; a step-daughter, Shelly (Virgil) O’Neal-Shugars of Owings Mills, MD. Also surviving are his sister, Sally Stromberg Kinnamon of Chicago, IL, two beloved grandsons, Alex and Johan, former wife, Sandra Stromberg, cousins and extended family in Sweden. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
A celebration of life for Dennis Craig Stromberg will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Those choosing to offer memorials may wish to consider the BAHS Class of 1964 Scholarship Fund (McKean County Community Foundation, P.O. Box 708, Bradford, PA 16701) and the Penn Brad Oil Museum, 901 South Ave., Bradford, PA 16701 (where he was a member of the Board).

She was also a free spirit who loved travelling across the country. When she was a little girl she was a “poppy girl” for the Bradford American Legion Post 108. She also enjoyed going to her nephew Buck’s sporting events.
She was employed by Seneca Manufacturing Co., Salamanca prior to working at Keystone Powdered Metal, Lewis Run.
She is survived by one daughter, Winnie Reid of Bradford; two sons, Kaleb Newbrough of Lewis Run and Garrett Newbrough of South Carolina; one brother, Gary (Megan) Reid, Jr. of Bradford; two sisters, Rachel Reid of Bradford and Michelle Whitmer of Stephens City, VA; two grandbabies, Zayden and Alec Roggenbaum both of Bradford; two nieces, Courtney and Aleigha and one nephew, Gary “Buck”.
A celebration of Bobby Jo’s life was held on Sunday, January 14th at the Bradford Eagles’ Club with Dan Williams officiating.

He was a U.S. Army veteran who served from April 1956 until his honorable discharge in April 1959.
In addition to his wife Jan Moore of Bradford, he is also survived by three children, Tim (Dawn) Mederios of Jamestown, NY, Pamala (Charles) Dunbar of Newfane, NY and James A. Moore, II of Bradford; three stepchildren, Robin (Bruce) Cauvel, Steven McWilliams and William McWilliams all of Bradford; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Julia Moore and one sister, Phyllis Moore.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church with a memorial service to immediately follow at noon with Pastor Ron Spencer officiating.

After relocating to the Bradford area, Julia worked for the Corning Company until it closed. She dedicated most of her professional career to the Waverly Group, Inc. until the company was sold and she later retired.
Twenty years ago, Julia and her beloved Golden Retriever, Abby, met David J. Nieman, who became her lifelong partner. Julia and David were an inseparable pair. They cherished the quality time they spent together and adored their Cocker Spaniel rescue dog, Murphy.
Julia’s passion in life was her amazing love for cooking. She spent hours in the kitchen perfecting old recipes and experimenting with new ones. She found happiness in entertaining her family and friends and serving a menu of flawless cuisine followed by truly magnificent desserts. Julia had a kind and generous heart. She will be missed by many, especially her beloved family.
A private memorial service will be held at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Jamestown, NY, at the convenience of the family.
