Linda was born in Wildee, KY, on May 30, 1950, a daughter of the late Eddie Ballinger and Becky Northern. She was united in holy matrimony to Perry Lee Montjoy, and of that union came two daughters: Rhonda and Vickie. They enjoyed 53 years together prior to his passing on June 29, 2019. She was a member of the Flat Rock Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and taking care of her grandchildren.
Those left to celebrate her life are her two daughters: Rhonda Yaden & Rodney, and Vickie Burdette & David both of Mt. Vernon, KY; three grandchildren: Joshua McFerron & Gabby, Shane Bullock & Kaitlin, and Jessie Renner & Christa; eight great-grandchildren: Maleigha, McKinzie, Zakkariah, Penelope, Lincoln, Avery, Landen, and Addy; two brothers: Billy Ballinger, and Bobby Ballinger, both of Ohio; a sister: Belle Ballinger; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Hobert Ballinger, Ed Northern, joe McNally, America Ballinger, Betty Newcomb, Marry Clark, Dorothy Shephard, and Evelyn Rusk.

Hazel was born on July 31, 1936, in Pine Hill, KY, a daughter of the late Elmer and Vula (Clark) Falin. She was united in holy matrimony to David Lewis Stewart, on August 27, 1955, and from that union came six children:  Lewis, Vonnie, JoAnn, Elmer, Davy, and Sammy. They enjoyed 64 years together prior to his passing in July 2020. She was a member of the Brush Creek Holiness Church, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Those left to celebrate her life are her children: Lewis Abney & Susie of Tell City, IN, Vonnie Wilder of Orlando, KY, JoAnn Fredricks & Kenny of Brodhead, KY, Elmer Stewart & Vonda of Orlando, KY, and Davy Stewart of Orlando, KY; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother: Carl Falin of NC; two sisters: Marilyn Kates and Juanita Falin, both of Brodhead, KY; as well as a host of many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Elmer was born in Rockcastle County, KY, on August 15, 1937, a son of the late Logan Burdette and Martha Ellen Cornett. He was united in marriage to Edith Brooks on January 11, 1958 - from that union came three children: Raymond, Beverly, and Regina. They enjoyed 53 years together prior to her passing on May 30, 2011. He then married Mary Faulkner on May 3, 2014. He spent his life as an auto mechanic, and a business owner – he was well known for his hardware business: Burdette’s Hardware, where he enjoyed meeting and building friendships with new people. He was a member of the Hickory Grove Pentecostal Church, and in his free time loved going camping and going on scenic drives.
Those left to celebrate his life are his wife of 8 years: Mary Faulkner Burdette of Brodhead, KY; his children: Beverly Harrison (Tim) of Berea, KY, and Regina Looney (Jerry) of Brodhead, KY; his step-children: Patricia Lewis (George) of Livingston, KY, Donna Pigg (Alvin) of Brodhead, KY, and Matthew Faulkner of Livingston, KY; step-son-in-law: Richard Barnes of Livingston, KY; six grandchildren: Julie Burdette, Melissa Ramey (Jason), Brian Bullock (Rebecca), Jonathan Burdette, Ashley Harrison, and Carissa Stallsworth (Teddy); two great-grandchildren: Jagger Stallsworth and Brody Bullock; close friends: Jim Bussell, JR Johnson, and Randal Adams; as well as a host of numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

She is survived by two daughters: Donna Poe and Don of Morrow Ohio, Linda James & Victor of Mount Vernon, KY; two sons: Ronald Mink & Cheryl of Middletown, Ohio, Jerry Mink & Deanette of Somerset, Kentucky; one brother: Floyd King of Burkesville, KY; one sister: Anna Clifford of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.

Those left to celebrate her life are her husband of 22 years, John Kelley Hoskins; her daughter: Tamara Wilder and Matthew of Brodhead, KY; three grandchildren: Lane, Eli, and Connor Wilder; a sister: Sharon Dyehouse and Mike of Crab Orchard; a special aunt: Doris Jeffrey; and her cats whom she loved dearly: Jinx, Munchie, and Shadow.

Christopher Scott Bullock - December 26, 1972 - March 27, 2022

Obituary Preview: Christopher Scott Bullock, age 49, passed away March 27, 2022, at his home in Somerset, KY.
He was born December 26, 1972, in Somerset, KY., the son of Floyd Bullock and Carolyn Hansel, both of whom preceded him in death.
After his graduation from Rockcastle County High School, Chris studied contemporary guitar at the Musicians Institute in San Francisco, CA. He graduated Barber College and worked part-time with his father in his shop. He studied physics at Berea College and then went on to study Theoretical Particle physics and Theoretical Condensed Matter physics at the University of Louisville where he received the Donald M Bennett award. He taught physics at several different schools and loved music, dark humor and his cats, Pickles, and Elliot. Chris was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Chris is survived by his stepfather, Freddy Hansel of Walnut Grove, his brother, Michael (Gail) Bullock and his sister, Kimberly Bullock, both of Mt. Vernon, his stepbrother, Danny (Dioni) Hansel of Brodhead, his stepsister, Jennifer Hansel of Winchester, four nieces and two nephews. Very dear friends Damon and Sonya McGuire of Mt. Vernon and a host of other friends and family also survive him.
Chris’ final wish was to be cremated and have his ashes scattered on the graves of his parents. There will be no service. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Marvin Owens Home for Funerals. Condolences can be made to the family at www.marvineowensfuneralhome.com

He married Stella Taylor on October 16, 1962, and they enjoyed 39 years together before her passing in 2001.

On February 15, 1962, Joyce was united in marriage to Kenneth Robert Leece, and they shared 60 wonderful years together. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and was a member of the Crab Orchard Church of Christ. Her hobbies and interests were hiking and walking and ministering to the residents of the nursing home.
