Married to her love and best friend Lou for 56 wonderful years until his passing in 2001. She was especially proud of their three children, Katy (Joe), Lou (Marion) & Scott (Sharon). And delighted by her five grandchildren, Kristina, Gregory, Alyssa, Stefanie & Stacey (Justin) and her one great grandchild Avery Jae. Her happiest times were spent with her family just having fun together and making memories. Ruth has many long time friends and although she was quiet she loved to meet new friends and socialize. She was always going on trips and involved in senior activities. Active in her faith she was kind and caring, always helping others. She preferred keeping busy and useful generously sharing her time and resources. Independent and strong willed she stayed young well into her golden years. She was a special mom and friend to all. At days end she would be found sitting on her cozy porch listening birds and watching the deer as the sun set on another day.
