Larry served the United States of America in the Navy from 1961 to 1967. Larry then went on in 1984 to start his own company, Sabermatic Die Saw where he worked as a Tool and Die Maker. In the little free time he had, Larry enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City, Missouri.
Surviving are Larry's wife of over 59 years, Rose Mary Palmer (Schmitt) of Festus, MO, sons, Larry Martin (Heather Lewis) Palmer of DeSoto, MO, and James Michael (Laurel) Palmer of Imperial, MO, daughter, Jewel Suzanne (Gary) McNulty of Festus, MO, grandchildren, Drew, Emily, Maddie, Nolan, Aubrey, Jennifer, and Brittany, great-grandchildren, Jacob, Carter, Kaylee, Chase, Zachary, Noah, Luke, Isabelle, and Brooklynn, along with numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and dear friends.
Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brothers, James (Marilyn) Palmer, and Roger Palmer, sisters, Patricia (Russell) Dunn, Helen (Charles) Finley, and Darlene Danback.
Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, May 24, 2024 at 11:00 am with Father Michael Boehm officiating.  Interment will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St Louis, Missouri.
Friends will be received at Mahn Twin City Chapel, Festus, Missouri Thursday, May 23, 2024, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Along with her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Richard W Tucker, son, Richard M Tucker, brothers, Donald (Barbara) Mellow, Melvin (Linda) Mellow, Kenneth (Joyce) Mellow, and sisters, Doris Warrings, Norma Mellow, and Carolyn Sweeney.
Mass will be held at Our Lady Catholic Church, Festus, Missouri, May 20, 2024 at 10:00 am with Fr. Steve Liam officiating.  Interment will follow in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery, Barnhart, Missouri.

Surviving are his wife of over 61 years, Karen Joyce Schultz (Boyer) of Festus, MO, sons, Greg (Melissa) Schultz of Festus, MO, and Matt (Kari) Schultz of O Fallon, MO, grandchildren, Erin (Devin) Hammock, Emily Schultz, Lucas Schultz, Madeline Bartlett, and Molly Bartlett, great-grandsons, Beckham and Jett Hammock, along with other family members and many beloved friends.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Mahn Funeral Home, Twin City Chapel on Thursday, May 16, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

After PPG, he went on to work as an Operator at DOW Chemical until retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, playing and listening to music, pitching horseshoes, helping others, and being very family oriented.
He was a member and trustee of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Douglass Alumni Association, William H. Ashcraft Lodge # 6 Kirkwood, MO, Crystal City Planning and Zoning, Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity, Mt. Zion Cemetery Board, and NAACP.
Surviving are daughters, Valerie (Willie) Brown-Taylor, and Audrey C. (Marvin) Mitchell of Montgomery, TX, sisters, Lillian Tullock of Crystal City, MO, Pauline White of Festus, MO, and Rose (Ronald) Wansley of Crystal City, MO, grandchildren, Cyd Brown, Adrianne (Chris) Kelly, and Kayla (Ty-Juan Norfleet Sr.) Crawford, great-grandchildren, Jailyn Duke, Destiny Kelly, Daylon "D.J." She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred E. Johnson in March of 2015, her parents and daughter-in-law, Diane Johnson.
Marcella was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, DeSoto and enjoyed fishing, camping, reading and attending the gatherings at the C.I.A Hall in DeSoto.
Visitation will be Friday, April 19, 2024 from 10 am to 12 pm and funeral service will follow at 12 pm. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery, Barnhart, MO.

Donald Isaac Stukey, Sr. - October 02, 1934 - March 30, 2024

Obituary Preview: Donald Isaac Stukey Senior, 89, of Hillsboro (formerly of Rolla, MO) Missouri went to be with the Lord on March 30,2024.
Donald, the ninth of eleven children,was born at his family home in Harrison, Florida on October 2, 1934 to Joseph Justice and Anna Harriett Stukey.  Don gave his heart to the Lord when he was a young boy and served Him wholeheartedly his whole life.  He honorably served his country in the United States Army, making Sergeant by the end of his tenure with the military.  Don met the love of his life, Linda Jean Lister, on October 7th, 1962.  Don and Linda were later united in matrimony on April 10, 1964.  They celebrated nearly sixty years of wedded bliss, both enjoying the other’s company daily.
Donald and Linda were active and longtime members of First Assembly of God of Rolla Missouri.  Don served as a choir member, usher and board member for multiple years.  He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend.  He was gentle of spirit, kind and full of integrity.
Don was known for his ability to design, create and build.  These traits he learned from his father, Joseph.  He built anything from bookshelves to toys and dollhouses for his kids.  He designed the home he and Linda lived in for forty years.  His hobbies included painting, reading, drafting, building, singing and spending time with family.
Don worked as a surveyor for Bay County in Florida.  He later became a cartographer for the United States Geological Survey in Rolla Missouri.  He was one of the first digital cartographers at the USGS and was the first to have his digital map published.  Don retired from the USGS in 2003 after 40 years of service.
Don is survived by his “Sweetie,” Linda Jean Stukey (MO), daughter Deborah Stukey (MO), son Donald Stukey Junior and spouse Heather (NE), daughter Dana Stukey (MO); grandchildren Harrison Stukey (NE), Isaac Stukey (MO) and Adaleigh Stukey (MO); siblings Doris Johnson(FL), Joseph (Minnie) Stukey (FL),  Ruth Stukey (FL), and Jack (Janet) Stukey (FL); in-laws Cindy Lister (FL), Larry (Sharon) Lister (MO), Gary and Tammy Miller (FL), Gina Lister (NC); and numerous nephew, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins, friends and best friends Don and Carolyn Graves.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a beloved granddaughter Leslie Marie Cathey; two brothers—William Harold Selzer (Colleen), and Clyde Raymond
Selzer (Margaret)—and one sister Wilma Mae Selzer Cleek (Elmo). She is survived by one son William Raymond Marler (Katherine) of Springfield, Mo.; one daughter Jeanne Marie Marler Cathey (Andy Dennis) of Festus; a grandson Dr. Will Marler of Tilburg, The Netherlands; two granddaughters Marissa Marler Geyer (Joel) of Republic, Mo; and Dr. Elizabeth Fuemmeler (Drew) of Lee’s Summit, Mo; two great grandchildren, Austin Mae
and Boone Louis Geyer; nephews and nieces. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Crystal City. After her husband’s untimely death, she worked at and retired in her mid-70s from Immanuel Lutheran Church Preschool and
Daycare, where in her “second career” she took care of nearly 300 babies. After retirement, she continued her daily practice of Bible reading and devotions, served on her congregation’s prayer ministry, daily followed three of her favorite things—Cardinal baseball,
country music, and reading. She read one new book each day. Burial is in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Crystal City, Mo, with a graveside service on Wednesday,
