Obituary Preview: John Everett Gamble, born June 24, 1957 at Toppenish, WA. He graduated from Toppenish High School in 1975. During high school he participated in wrestling and track. He was a member of the Toppenish Creek Riders 4H Club and Toppenish FFA. He began his rodeo career by participating in the Toppenish Eagles Jr. Rodeo and Cayuse Jr. Rodeo Association. John expanded his rodeo career joining the Northwest Rodeo Association and winning the bulldogging event in 1980. He was most proud of his trophy saddle and buckle. He bought his PRCA permit and continued to rodeo for several years participating in the Columbia River Circuit, winning the Western Washington Fair All Pro Rodeo Steer Wrestling Champion in 1986. John lived and worked on a cattle ranch his whole life.
John is survived by his mother Donna Gamble his daughter Hannah, his companion Becky Rowe and family, sister Barb Bailey (Greg) White Swan, brothers, George Gamble (Robin) Toppenish, Tom Gamble Goldendale, Numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his dad Frank Gamble, Grandma Jane Gamble, Grandma Evelyn and Grandpa Everett Gordon and Aunt Beulah Lee.
