Obituary Preview: Donna S. St. Clair age 72, of Salesville, OH formerly of Toledo, OH went to be with her Lord Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at her home, under the care of Hospice of Guernsey Inc. She was born December 20, 1946 in Toledo, OH a daughter of the late Herman and Gladys Henfling Spencer.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and reading. She attended the Harvest Christian Fellowship Church. The most important thing in Donna’s life was her relationship with God.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister Sue Dishman.
Those left to cherish her memory are 3 children Gennie Abalos of Salesville, Katrina Watson of Toledo, and John St. Clair of Ocean View, CA; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 brother David Spencer of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Obituary Preview: George M. Rollic 80, of Freeport, OH passed away Monday, March 25th, 2019 at his home. He was born February 1st, 1939 in Barberton, OH a son of the late Joseph and Catherine Rollic. He is now in the presence of Jesus in a place so beautiful that God has prepared for him, to give him the desires of his heart along with a new body that no longer aches or feels pain.
He will meet those who have preceded him in death: daughters Debra Montgomery and Sheree Abernathy and her husband Harry; granddaughters Bridget and Brittany Abernathy; brother Joseph Rollic Jr.
He will be greatly missed and always remembered by his beloved wife of 63 years Donna J Rollic; his daughter Sandi (Paskal) Hayhurst; sons Donald (Betty) Rollic and Robert Montgomery; sisters Linda (Gene) Hise, Karen (Jon) Holland, and Flo (Don) Monroe; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Sandy was born to parents, Samuel and Mary Irene (Mercer) Hardy on September 21, 1946 in Cambridge, Ohio. She grew up as the eldest of eight: Paul (Linda) Hardy; Pat (Ben) Wise; Kathy (Dave) Ridgley; Molly Dybiec; Andy (Dottie) Hardy; and Jessie Hardy.
Sandy attended John Glenn High School. She graduated with an Associate Degree From Muskingum Area Technical College (AKA Zane State College). Sandy was a veteran of the US Navy, stationed in Quonset Point Naval Base, North Kingstown, Rhode Island. She worked in social work at the former Cambridge State Hospital. She went on to become an officer (Captain) in The Salvation Army and then served as the secretary for the New Concord Baptist church.
Sandy enjoyed, playing Scrabble, gardening, camping and fishing. Sandy gained pleasure through giving of her time, love and patience. She truly enjoyed the friendships she has made through the church and the Cambridge Heights Apartments. She was devoted to her Lord and Savior whom she loved, and worshiped. Sandy is survived by her daughters, Karen (Todd) Jarrett; Debbie (Dean) Gingerich; Wendy (John) Curtis; six grandchildren: Misti (Joel) Gebhart; Kristen (Terry) Sampson; Tiffany Jarrett; Kaiden Jarrett; Tori (Joey) Curtis, Tara Curtis; and three great-grandchildren;and several nieces and nephews; and many cousins from the Cambridge and Marion, Ohio areas. He was an artist involved in many murals and paintings around the area. He also enjoyed writing and was a member of the Cambridge Writers Workshop, writing short stories about the area.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 brothers-in-law Joe Lane and Blaine Richardson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Barbara Lamson Dair, whom he married June 11, 1982; 2 children Stefanie Dair of Senecaville and Matthew (Ariel) Dair of Marietta, OH; grandson Joey; 2 sisters Henrietta Lane and Barbara Richardson both of Frankfort, OH; close friend and “adopted sister” Sandy (Tom) Winnett of Cambridge. She is survived by a son, Bryan (Danielle) Long; daughter, Mallory (Thomas) Carpenter; her friend and father of her daughter, Mark Keylor; brother, Jody (Debbie) Frazzoni; sister, Pamala Frazzoni; four grandchildren, Haylie, Alexis, Ema and Bryelle; as well as nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be Sept. 8 with the time and place to be determined.

She is survived by her long-time companion Wayne Lauer, her children John Eddleblute (Allision), Jill Eddleblute, Joanna Eddleblute (Stephen), two sisters Rose Gewritz (Bill), Byride Ray, a brother Bob Henderson (Julia), 4 grandchildren Heidi Koehn (Alex), Tara Kendall (Darrick), Jenna Eddleblute and Isaac Eddleblute, and her pride and joy, a great-grandson Henry Kendall. She is also survived by her companion Wayne Lauer’s family who she loved dearly, Cindy and Gene Campbell, R.C. and Teresa Lauer, Cheri and Bill McKown, Chila Jones, 8 step grandchildren, 19 step great grandchildren, and 1 step great great grandson.
In honor of her wishes, there will be no service, but a celebration of her life at a later date.

John E. Triplett Sr. - January 03, 1935 - January 06, 2018

Obituary Preview: John E. Triplett, Sr.
January 3, 1935 to January 6, 2018. Born and raised in St. Mary’s, WV. John married Rhoda W. Triplett and together they raised two children, John Jr. “Trip” and Paige.
John proudly served in the Air Force Band, enlisting in June of 1953 and serving on active duty until June of 1957. Prior to being in the Air Force Band, he was in the all-state band and orchestra out of St. Mary’s High School. He was a proud member of the St. Mary’s Alumni Band for a number of years.
He enlisted in the West Virginia Army National Guard in their Special Forces Group in November of 1961. He was commissioned on January 2, 1963 as a Lieutenant in the US Army. He served in both the West Virginia and Ohio Army National Guard. He ended his service with Ohio Army National Guard in 1970. While in the Ohio Army National Guard, he commanded guardsmen, restoring order in numerous riots in the cities and colleges of Ohio during those difficult times.
John was a Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus, Director of Community Action, a member of Total Ministry Program and the American Red Cross. While Director of Community Action, he helped establish the first Head Start program in Wood County, West Virginia.
John gladly shared his love of classical music, the tuba and fishing with his kids and grandkids. John’s grandkids were the center of his life. He proudly ran “Camp Grandpa” many summers. He loved porch time playing McDonald’s drive thru and taking them for ice cream or to McDonald’s for breakfast.
John is survived by his wife, Rhoda W. Triplett, John Jr. (Cinda) Triplett of Marietta; Paige (Allen) Ridenour of Marietta, as well as his grandchildren, Adam Triplett of Los Angeles, California, Erin Hamill of Columbus, Alex and LeeAnn Ridenour both of Marietta and his great-granddaughter, Amara of Columbus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Triplett Shutts and sisters, Martha, Sarah, and Rosemary. Memorial donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus Council #478 or the USO. Obituary Preview: Vern Charles “Skip” Traxler age 79, of Cambridge, OH passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at his home. He was born September 25, 1938 in Lorain, OH a son of the late Vern Charles Traxler and Marion Bulloch LaVriha.
Skip will always be remembered for his strong work ethic, how he lived life to the fullest, and his infectious personality. He never met a stranger, which was a great asset to him in his career as a salesman for welding gasses. He traveled the country several times and could recall the names of everyone he ever met. He also gave back to his field as a welding instructor for several different vocational schools around the country.
In addition to his parents, Skip is preceded in death by a brother Lon Traxler.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Pamela Sue Delik Traxler whom he married March 17, 1992; 2 daughters Carla (Jeff) Hines of Bellville, OH and Traci (Rich) Thompson of Granville, OH; 1 son Tom (Beth) Traxler of Lexington, OH; 8 grandchildren Taylor (Nathan) Hornback, Calvin Hines, Sydney (Chad) Kennard, Jake Traxler, Jordyn Traxler, Justin Thompson, Natalie Thompson, and Ben Thompson; brother Tim Traxler of Athens, OH. He is also survived by so many friends and colleagues throughout the country, from all his travels.

He was a carpenter by trade. He loved spending time with his family, especially playing guitar with his brothers.
He is preceded in death by a brother Tony Warden; paternal grandfather Frank R. Warden; maternal grandparents Ida Ward and Clyde Keith.
Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents are a son Joseph Christopher Warden of Barnesville, OH; daughter Courtney Dawn Warden of Cambridge; three brothers Todd, Steve and Gary Warden all of Cambridge; and his paternal grandmother Esther Warden.

Catherine was raised and lived most of her adult life in Cincinnati, OH. She was an Alumni of the University of Cincinnati, having obtained a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in horticulture at age 54. She was an avid reader, loved working outdoors in her gardens, traveling and doing genealogical research.  Catherine was a friend of Bill W. for 27 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents Audrey Lee Hesson, Louise Imogene Carson (nee Hunnicutt), James Alex and Katie McKay Carson (nee Porter), and a niece Annette Marie Zide (nee Cook).

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by two brothers Clifford Woyan and Glen Woyan; one sister Dolly Dimple Woyan Myers
