Earl is survived by his Children, Zachary Carroll, Jeremy Carroll, Earl Carroll Jr. “EJ”, Cade Carroll and alleged biological son, Jeremiah Leigh Wolfe (Lindy) of Missouri. 8 Grandchildren, Cooper Carroll, T.J. Carroll, Dreyton Chavis, Madison Chavis, Payton Chavis, Emily Carroll, J. J. Carroll and Liam Carroll. Sister, Tonya Lynn Carroll (Dave Maney). Special Friends, Kermit McDowell and Connie Burke.
In addition to his Parents, Earl is preceded in death by his Brother, Kermit Gaston "Dugan" Carroll. Maternal Grandparents, Amoneeta and Ella Mae (Pheasant) Sequoyah. Paternal Grandparents, General and Julia McCoy Bradley.
Earl enjoyed fishing, boating and watching NASCAR. His favorite driver was the late Davey Allison. However, his passion was for all things GOLF. From participating in tournaments, hitting the links with his friends, to managing the Pro Shop at Sequoyah National Golf Course, Earl loved golf. In 1997, he was a member of the Harrah's Cherokee Casino Opening Team as the Warehouse Manager where he worked for over ten years.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 in the chapel of Long House Funeral Home, beginning at 12:00pm until 2:00pm. At 2:00pm, Earl will be taken to his final resting place in Birdtown Cemetery for a short graveside service.

John is also preceded in death by Brothers, David Jeff Blackfox and Justin Blackfox. Sisters, Christine Lynn Bigmeat and Carrie Leigh Bigmeat.
John loved the outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt, dig ginseng, and gather polk salad and wishi, he was a great cook. He also loved all his nieces and nephews. John will be missed by many.
A direct burial took place on Thursday, February 29, 2024, John was buried in Inoli Cemetery.

Glenn loved his Family, Children and Grandchildren. He loved the Lord and enjoyed reading his bible and singing gospel songs. He retired from Indian Health Services with a career of 33 years a Medical Lab Technician. He enjoyed traveling to New Mexico to visit Family and Friends. Glenn’s smile would light up the room. He will be missed dearly. His laughter and sense of humor will forever be in our memories.
The Family welcomes all singing groups to come celebrate Glenn’s life. He loved gospel music and requested to have all singers praising the Lord with song.
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Big Cove Pentecostal Church beginning at 5:00pm. Glenn will remain at the church until the hour of service on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 2:00pm with Ann French officiating. Burial will be in the Glenn Wolfe Family Cemetery behind Glenn’s home. Obituary Preview: Frances Maxine Studer, age 90, passed away at Tsali Care Center on February 3, 2024, after a brief illness.
She is survived by her Children; Mary Jolene Studer of Cherokee, NC, Larry Studer of Baileyville, ME, and Charles Studer of Colorado Springs, CO. 2 Granddaughters, Katie and Hannah. Brother, Eugene McGillis and Sister, Juanita Swimmer.
Frances is preceded in death by her Husband, Joseph Russell Studer. Parents, Wilfred John and Nellie (French) McGillis.
She was very proud of her Cherokee ancestry. She was instrumental in starting the Lima Pow-Wow in Lima, OH. Both of her parents were students at Haskell and Carlisle Indian Schools. This meant she never learned her Cherokee language, but she loved to travel. Traveling all over the United States for Powwows, she also traveled to Germany, Turkey and Italy.
A visitation will be held on the evening of Friday, February 9, 2024 in the chapel of Long House Funeral Home, beginning at 5:00pm until 7:00pm. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024, beginning at 11:00am with Rev. Peter Shaw officiating. Burial will be in the McGillis Family Cemetery in the Big Cove Community. James Allen Sexton - July 12, 1956 - January 09, 2024

Obituary Preview: James Allen “Jim” Sexton, age 67, left this earth on January 9th, 2024, while at home with his wife
Debbie in Byhalia, MS, after a two-year battle with cancer. Born on July 12, 1956, in Portsmouth, VA, Jim’s family settled in Rochester, NY, after his father retired from the Navy in 1964. He spent his youth playing baseball wherever he could, including practicing his
pitching against the brick wall of the pizzeria across from his home. A hard worker, Jim grew up delivering newspapers on several routes and serving ice cream at Carvels down the road. He loved a variety of music and was a gifted church song leader from the age of 13. Part
of the All-State High School Choir, Jim was always proud to say he sang in Carnegie Hall in NYC. After graduating from John Marshall High School in 1974, he attended Oklahoma Christian College on a baseball scholarship. While visiting home on Christmas vacation a year later, he met Debbie after his father suggested he take the “new girl” at church tobogganing with the youth group. They spoke that
very evening of marriage and finally tied the knot on August 13, 1977. Jim and Debbie raised three amazing children in Rochester/Greece, NY. Jim lived a busy life staying active in church ministries and activities, especially small group Bible studies, youth events, and church camp. He was known as a homerun hitter in his competitive softball days and took up golf as well. He
very much enjoyed thrift store shopping. After working many years at high-speed copy companies, he found his purpose in life by becoming the minister of the Cherokee Church of Christ in Cherokee, North Carolina in 2005. He and Debbie served together for close to 18 years until his retirement and their move to Mississippi in 2023. During his time in ministry, he enjoyed visiting people at many local establishments, especially the Qualla Java Cafe
where he was well known as “Preacher” and would talk about scripture with anyone. He is survived by his wife Debbie, children Jennifer (Dusty Eaves) Sexton of Bryson City, NC, Stephanie (Brian) Rowe of Byhalia, MS, and Jay (Jessa) Sexton of Franklin, TN; sisters Susan (Gary) Brown, Crystal (William) Wesley, Donna (Harry) Bobak, and Beth (Loren) Rogers; and eight incredible grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin James and Janet Darleen Sexton as well as his sister Darla
Jean Talbot. A celebration of Jim’s life will take place on February 17, 2024, at the Cherokee Church of Christ at

Brothers, Dennis “Bill” Taylor (Katrina), Larch Taylor and Sisters, Savannah Taylor Wilnoty (Mike). Step-Children, Alana, Kevin and Bo McCall. Special Son, Earl Martin. Obituary Preview: Anna Sue (Cooper) Owle, a vibrant soul cherished by many, departed this world on
November 8, 2023, at the age of 90 after a brief illness and stay at the Tsali Care Center. Sue was the seventh of nine children to the late Arnold and Myrtle Cooper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Owle, a son, Paul Dillman;
brother, James Arnold Cooper; sisters, Jessie C. Clement, Ida Lee Arneach, Frances C.
Collins and Barbara Strickland. Sue is survived by her brothers, Candler Ray Cooper and Robert Cooper both of Whittier and Cherokee, NC and one sister, Wilma Cooper Morris of Cherokee, NC and 25 Nieces and
Nephews. Known as Sue to most who knew her, she was born on September 24, 1933, in Cherokee, NC. She was self-employed and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her lifes journey took her through the Cherokee Boarding School briefly, and she
eventually graduated from Swain County High School. In her high school years, Sue's vivacity shone brightly as a majorette and a Championship square dancer. Her peers recognized her ambition, and as a senior at SCHS, she was voted most ambitious, harboring dreams of becoming a successful restaurateur. True to her aspirations, Sue carved a path as a successful businesswoman, managing more than four
different restaurants during her illustrious career. Sue's passion for delicious food and outstanding service became the hallmark of her endeavors. Renowned for her culinary skills, she delighted many with her outstanding recipes, including her comforting vegetable soup, delectable pecan and peanut butter pies,
and her unforgettable Blue Cheese dressing. Beyond her culinary talents, Sue's heart overflowed with compassion for others. Her love extended to those in need, as well as to stray dogs and cats, reflecting a profound dedication
to making a difference in the lives of both people and animals. An avid writer and lifelong learner, Sue's inquisitive spirit never waned. She cherished knowledge and the written word, a testament to her insatiable curiosity about the world
around her. Of all the treasures Sue held dear, none surpassed the love and devotion she felt for her son,
Paul. Their bond was a testament to the depth of a mother's love. Sue's impact on the community will be commemorated at a memorial service on Saturday, November 18th, at 2 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Cherokee. She is the daughter of the late Peter and Sidney (Downs) Bellflower. She is also preceded in death by her Husband of 46 years, Paul Squirrell, who passed in 2019. It was spoken that Shirley had come to the Cherokee area when she was 19 years old and met Paul. She left and returned six months later to be with him and they never separated from that point. Siblings, Murray, Wayne, Lucy and Toby.
Emily is survived by a Brother, Edward Bellflower of Sylva, NC. Special Nephew and Caregiver, Herb (Pam) Squirrell.
She will be missed by loved ones and those that knew her as a friend.
A visitation will be held at Big Cove Missionary Church on Monday, November 7, 2023, beginning at 1:00pm until 2:00pm. A funeral service will begin at 2:00pm with Pastor Dan Conseen officiating. Brother, Ronald Charles Goodeagle, Sr. and Sister, Linda Sue Goodeagle-Reed. Three Special Grandchildren that she helped raise, Ashley, Amber (Doug) and Arron (Amanda) Keel. She had many special friends, Rick Bird, Monsenjour Johnson, Bottchenbaugh Family, Sharon Parton, Kip Monoessy, Daniel Tramper and Family, and Katrina Bigmountain. There were so many other people she admired in her life. Judy loved her kids and Family so much.
Judy is preceded in death by her Parents, Merton Kenneth Goodeagle Sr. and Lenora (Jake) Goodeagle. Brothers, Merton Kenneth Goodeagle Jr. and Ronnie Goodeagle Sr.
Judy was a famous trick rider at rodeos in Oklahoma. She loved all her children and Grandchildren very much and always carried them in her heart. She loved cutting hair and even had her own salon in Pawnee, OK. When meeting her last companion, Ron, she began hitting the pow-wow trail and started to get well known around the pow-wow world, she loved to dance and became a Champion Tradition Dancer, she also loved to sing with Good Heart Drum. Growing up, Judy loved to ride horses and trick ride, she had many different hobbies.
Judy will be taken back to Oklahoma for services. Pallbearers will be Go-Go Thomas Goodeagle, Kenneth Paul Goodeagle, Arron Keel, Manolito Mahsetky, Ron Charles Sunnie Goodeagle and other Goodeagle Family members.

A visitation will be held on Thursday evening, October, 19, 2023 at the Cherokee Pentecostal Holiness Church beginning at 3:00pm. John will remain at the church until the hour of service on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 2:00pm with Pastor Tim Melton officiating. Burial will be in the Littlejohn Family Cemetery. William Authur (Bill) Moles 87 years old passed away on October 10, 2023 at the home of his daughter with his family by his side.
Born on January 23,1936 in Cherokee, NC to Kyle and Vera Bradley Moles. He was a graduate of Brigham Young University and a U.S. Army Veteran. Bill moved to Hartsville SC to work for Sonoco and retired in 1998.
Left to cherish his memory is his Daughter Delayne Moles Clark (Glenn); his grandson Bradley King (Liz); his granddaughter Laura King (Logan); the apple of his eye his great grandson LJ; his brother Denny Moles along with two sisters Janice Sutton and Maxine Bumgarner and special Niece Pamela Marks, also numerous Nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Bill was preceded in death by his son William Michael Moles and the mother of his children Barbara White along with two sisters, Dorothy Cowling and Carolyn Moles.
The family would like to give special thanks for the great care of Bill from the staff of Pruitt Health Care and a special thank you to Samantha Brown, Mary McElveen and Christine Poston.
A visitation will be held Friday October 13 at Norton Funeral Home in Hartsville from 5 - 7 pm.
The family will receive friends and family Tuesday October 17, 2023 from 5.00PM TO 7.00PM in the chapel of Long House Funeral Home in Cherokee NC. A formal funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 18, 2023, at 2:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Cherokee NC with burial to follow in the Bradley family cemetery.

She was a fun spirited soul who took on many passions. Her biggest passion was being a mother to her daughters Charleigh and Riley. One of her favorite places was the ocean. More specifically, Myrtle Beach. This has been one of her favorite places since
she was a young child. Jennifer grew up a proud, resilient Cherokee Woman in the Wolfetown Community. She served our tribe for 17 years as the Child Advocate at Heart to Heart Child Advocacy Center. Her love for children, their safety and well-being were the driving force for her commitment to protect the innocents while fighting against child abuse and neglect. Her sweet soul gave hope and
comfort to all. Jennifer was as a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile was so stunning it would light up
the whole room. She cared so deeply for the people around her. She will be forever missed. De-Na-Da-Go-Hv-Yu
