A rosary will be said on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 6:00 PM at St. Mary's Cathedral, 1200 South Washington. The funeral mass will be on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 9:00 AM at St. Mary's Cathedral. Rev. Anthony Neusch will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home.
Linda was born in Amarillo on November 15, 1959, to her parents, Jose Saavedra and Adela Ortiz. She received her associate's degree and worked as a supervisor for Excel Energy.
Linda was preceded in death by three siblings, Rita Rodarte, Mary Maldonado, and Johnny Rangel, and one granddaughter, Journey Alcala’.
She was survived by her children, Edward Alcala' and his wife Cecilia, Adam Alcala' and his wife Brenda, Christopher Alcala' and his wife Raven, and Matthew Alcala’ and his wife Rebecca; fifteen grandchildren, Elon Brown, and husband Caden, Ethan Alcala', Zoe Gutierrez, Genesis Gutierrez, Gavin Gutierrez, Ian Alcala' and Noah Alcala', Phillip Adam- Abel Boothby and wife Rebekah, Aiden Alcala', Alyssa Alcala', Sephie Alcala', Ima Alcala', Amery Alcala', Mattie Alcala' and Ryan Alcala' and one great-grandbaby on the way.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, May 20, 2024 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive with Pastor Robby Barrett officiating. Burial to follow at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.
June, affectionately known as “Julie,” was born in July 1932 in Erick, OK. She was the second eldest of five children born to Katie and Herman Phipps, with two sisters and a set of twin brothers. After her mother's early death, her father married Pauline Phipps, and together they welcomed a brother, Sam Phipps and a sister, Mary-Alice Forester, into the family.
June graduated from high school in Amarillo and entered the workforce, spending the majority of her career in upscale retail. She loved outfitting and dressing clientele in Dallas and Amarillo, and was known for her impeccable taste, class, and style. Her infectious laugh, piercing blue eyes, and warm, generous heart endeared her to many. Beyond fashion, June had a talent for creating beautiful landscapes and took great pride in her yard.
Although married and divorced several times, June's greatest joy came in her mid-twenties when she gave birth to her only child, a son named Rock Wakefield.
June lived a full life, overcoming many tribulations with admirable strength and dignity. She was well-loved and respected by those that crossed her path. She was surrounded by wonderful friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Katie Phipps; father, Herman Phipps; twin brothers, Frank and Dickie Phipps; sisters, Barbara Chance and Nadine Chance; special friend, Dale Elliot; grandson, Chad Wakefield; and beloved son, Rock Wakefield.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Alice Forester; brother, Sam Phipps; grandson, Quincy Wakefield; granddaughters, Khaki Wakefield and Tennessee Scanio (and her husband, Joseph Scanio); and great-grandchildren, Cash Wakefield, Kyan Williams, Kasyn Williams, Kamdyn Williams, Vivian Scanio, Colette Scanio, and Charlotte Parmentier.
A memorial service celebrating June's beautiful life will be held at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home at 10 AM on Monday, May 20, 2024, followed by a brief, informal graveside burial at Llano Cemetery.

He worked as a welder, taking great pride in working with his hands. He enjoyed life’s simple pleasers, fishing, eating, camping, riding and spending time with friends and family. Let’s not forget driving anything with an engine, like he stole it. Despite his tough exterior, he loved deeply. Even when he was making fun of you, you felt loved, and you never knew how much you needed one of his hugs until he let you go. He is survived by his grandfather Vernon Cox; father John Cox, mother Kelly Cox, his daughter Emerson Cox; Sisters Amber Danner, Lesley Cox, Brothers Gregory Kirk and Nathan Cox. He will be happily laid to rest next to his Grandmother Susie Cox and Uncle Donnie Cox.

Nancy was born January 19, 1936, in Amarillo, TX to Albert Richard “Dick” and Nancy (Teel) Bivins.
She graduated from Amarillo High School and attended H. Sophie Newcomb Memorial College and earned a bachelor's degree in English and a master’s in special education from The University of Texas at Austin. She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. She also was a member of DAR. For many years she taught in Midland, Amarillo, Marfa, and Houston.
In her spare time, she enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, and spending time with friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael John Raine; and her sister, Sarah Ann “Sally” Bivins.
Survivors include her brother, Richard Presnall Bivins and wife D. Anne, of Norwood, MD; a niece, Michelle M. Jameson, and her daughter, Emma Rose, of Walpole, MA; and two nephews, James M. Bivins, of Portland, ME, and Russell A. Bivins, of Concord, NH, and his daughters, Anastacya Gleason and Candis Beverley.

He worked in maintenance and was also a mechanic for different companies. He enjoyed spending time with his family which always included him smoking ribs, brisket and barbecuing which always meant having cookouts on the weekends or just whenever. He loved listening to music and dancing with everyone just because that’s who he was. He was also not afraid to speak his mind about how he felt, which made him very loved by many.
Juan is survived by his wife Nancy Flores, daughters Monica and Rachel Flores, sons Isaiah and wife (Kourtni) Flores and Daniel Flores. Four grandchildren Ezra, Jack, Kinley, and Lily, sisters Leslie Flores, Amanda Gonzalez, Vanessa Gonzalez, brother Ofelio Fabian Flores, and his mother Isabel Flores, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a lot of friends.
He was preceded by his dad Juan Flores Sr, brother Adam Garcia, Grandpa Eduardo Flores and sister Rina Flores. He will be missed dearly by those who loved him.

There will be an open viewing scheduled from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Friday May 17, 2024 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Following the graveside services the family and friends are welcome to gather at Steve’s residence for food and fellowship.
Steve was born July 23, 1949 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to AG (Jack) and Vida Woods. He attended Goddard High School in Roswell, New Mexico. Steve went on the Eastern New Mexico University to obtain his Associates in Aviation Mechanics. He obtained his pilot’s license. Steve met and married the love of his life Dianna Hughes on June 3, 1972 in Roswell, New Mexico. Together they shared three beautiful children and 48 amazing years of marriage before her passing. Steve loved to stay busy, some would say he had ants in his pants. He was always fixing something, or doing yard work which he took great pride in, working with wood, to tinkering with his old Ford tractor. Steve loved to go camping with his children, going to different places in the camper. He enjoyed going to the lake with his family where they would all go boating, skiing, tubing, and even cliff diving. Steve and Dianna both found a passion for scuba diving, they would go any chance they could. He was a kind and sweet man, always giving a helping hand where needed. Steve will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Alan Woods; Mike Woods; his loving wife, Dianna.
Survivors include his son, Marc Woods and spouse Salem Goodman of Dallas, TX; two daughters, Anne Woods and spouse Stella Woods of Amarillo, TX; Melissa Woods of Roswell, New Mexico; his four grandchildren, Brieanna Woods; Chase Woods; Xander Woods; Zailey Woods; two step-grandchildren, Caigon Cook; Cheslee Cook and his only great-grandchild, Nash Woods; and his brother Paul Woods (Etta) of Ohio. Survivors also include a host of other family members and dear friends.

He was the kind of man that would give the shirt off his back to someone in need, and blessed are the ones who were fortunate enough to be loved by him. Roy was the kindest person who had a heart of gold and was everyone’s favorite. He was a jokester making everyone laugh all the time. He loved listening to music and watching sports. Roy was a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns. Win or lose they were always his teams.
He is preceded in death by his Father Jose Lucero; Brothers, Jeremy Lucero, Virgil Lucero, and Odie Garza; Nieces Savannah Zepeda and Marissa Garza; Father-in-law Jesse Zepeda.

Sandra was born November 10, 1941, in Clarksville, TX to Donovan and Ruth Stafford. She attended Texas Tech University where she met Kenneth Lee Drost and was a member of Tri-Delta Sorority. She and Kenneth were married on August 30, 1962.
She was a member of St. Stephen Methodist Church and enjoyed volunteering for the hospital, and the church’s Mother’s Day Out class and Sunday school.
Sandra loved to paint scenery. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and even wrote two children’s books for them. Sandra always had the best jokes to tell. She also enjoyed multiple trips to the mountains, the lake house, and horse racing. Sandra had a love for her rose bushes and morning glories in her backyard.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Donovan and Ruth Stafford.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lee Drost; daughters, Debra and Bobby Guthrie and Diane and Mike Maiwald; sister, Suzanne Montgomery and spouse Mike; grandchildren, Braxton Bragg and spouse Katie, Jordan Maiwald, Jacob Maiwald, Megan Steinke and spouse Leo, and Bobby Guthrie Jr. and spouse Nikki.; great-grandchildren, Jack Bragg, Crue Bragg, Wilder Bragg, Kennedy Maiwald, Mason Steinke, Odin Steinke, Alicia Walker, Anthony Michel, Alexis Michel, Aidan Saguay, and Asher Guthrie; and two great-great-grandchildren, Alexsander Walker and Avery Walker.

Michael was born on October 19, 1942 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Lowel Armstrong and Thelma Berk. He graduated from Chillicothe High School and then he joined the United States Air Force, where he served his country for four years. He married Sharon Cook on May 12, 1969 and together they shared nearly 55 years of marriage. Michael worked for Mount Carmel Health System for many years, until he retired and became self-employed. He was known for being a very outgoing person and he never met a stranger anywhere he went.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Kevin Armstrong.
Survivors left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sharon Armstrong; his brother, David Armstrong and wife, Sally; his brother-in-law, James Cook and his three nephews, Bryan Armstrong, Christopher Armstrong, and Michael Armstrong.

Susan was born on December 11, 1945 in Amarillo to James and Elizabeth Collins. She spent most of her life in the Amarillo area and stayed true to her panhandle roots. Susan played tennis as a young adult and would often remark about how much she enjoyed the sport. She spent most of her spare time in her home as a homemaker. Toward the end of her life, Susan enjoyed managing her rental properties and spending her spare time with her two dogs, Pepper and Rudy Adams. She was loved by many and will be missed.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert Adams.
Survivors include long time close friend, Albin Ferguson of Amarillo and his son, Albin of Amarillo; her cousin, Cathy Dee and one niece, Lenzy Ham both of Colorado.

She had 3 children, Tasha Wampler, Shay Leah Lovelace and Garrett Spring. Marilyn spent her adult years as an entrepreneur and helped start and run a successful yellow page business. After retiring, she divided her time between Beaumont and Amarillo.
Marilyn loved to decorate, make floral arrangements and wreaths and work in her flower beds. She had "magic hands" when it came to making all her spaces look beautiful. She had a gift for making a home welcoming.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her son, Garret Wayne Spring, parents Thelda and MJ, siblings Marla Burge and Mark Rogers.
She leaves behind 6 grandkids and 1 great grandson.

Ruby Diane Allen, beloved mother, cherished nana, and pillar of strength, passed away peacefully at the age of 84. She departed this world on May 6, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Born on July 31, 1939 to Carlise and Ruby Hodam in Oklahoma City, she married Jerry Allen on September 5, 1957, they celebrated 54 years of marriage before he passed away in 2011. Diane worked as executive secretary for Xcel energy for 30 years. She was a faithful member of St. Stephen's Church of Amarillo.
Diane's role as Nana was one she treasured deeply. She delighted in showering her grandchildren with affection, sharing stories, cooking meals for them, and watching their sporting events. Her presence brought comfort and joy to their lives.
Throughout her life, Diane touched the lives of many with her selflessness and generosity. Her acts of kindness knew no bounds, and she made a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of crossing her path. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her. Her legacy of love, compassion, and strength will continue to inspire and uplift us in the days ahead.
Diane is survived by her loving children Roger Allen (Terri) of Norman, Oklahoma, Scott Allen (Wanda) of Amarillo and Stacy Williams (Jeff) of Amarillo, and her 9 adoring grandchildren Kaci Maloney (Matt), Lauren Allen, Tanner Allen (Callie), TJ Allen (Aubrey) Zach Allen, Cody Allen, Ryne Williams (Aspyn), Madison Allen (Tray) and Brett Williams (Gracie) and 6 great grandchildren. Two nephews Kevin Faulkner (Tammy), Craig Booth (Tonya) both of Duncan, Oklahoma and many dear friends. We would like to extend a special thank you to Abide Senior Care, especially to CC and Casee for the tremendous care you took of our mother. Angels on Earth!
A celebration of Diane’s life will be held on Monday, May 13th at 1:00pm at St. Stephen’s Church of Amarillo under the direction of Primrose Funeral Service of Norman, Oklahoma. Please join us in wearing bright colors to honor our mom and the sunshine she spread throughout this world.

Her parents and her brother, Marvin Rozell preceded her in death.

Billie Jo Cooks - November 12, 1934 - May 04, 2024

Obituary Preview: Billie Jo Johnson Cooks, 89, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024. She was born in Petty, Lamar County, Texas to Dudley Combs and Ruth Patterson Johnson. At an early age, she attended school in Honey Grove, Texas, and united with the Union Hill Baptist Church. On November 14, 1948, Billie moved to Amarillo, Texas, with her parents and united with Jenkins Chapel Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Reverend J. W. Wade. She was a faithful member of Jenkins Chapel Baptist Church, serving as church clerk, financial secretary, and a member of the mission department, and a member and secretary of the City-Wide Ushers. Billie also served as secretary for the Amarillo United Citizens Forum.
She attended Patten High School for two months and then moved to the new Carver High School in February 1949 and graduated in May 1953. She attended Amarillo College and graduated from The Draughon’s Business College.
Billie met and married Thomas J. Cooks, Sr., and to this union, two children were born, Thomas J. Cooks, Jr., and Lawanda G. Cooks.
She was employed with American National Insurance Company, Amarillo Independent School District (AISD), and Pantex Mason and Hanger-Silas Mason Company, Inc. (now Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC (CNS), Pantex.) She retired from Pantex in 1997, after 28 years of service.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, son, and brother, Austin Johnson.

Irene was born on May 20, 1935, in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to Maxima and Juan Hernandez. She had been a textile worker at Burlington in Post, Texas until the plant closed of which, she retired after 30 years of service.
She married Alfonso Sanchez on December 22, 1956. They moved to the United States in 1957.

She is survived by her son, Ricardo Sanchez and wife Alice of Amarillo; grandson, Ricardo Alfonso Sanchez of Amarillo; granddaughter-in-love, Amanda Castillo and husband Eric of Amarillo; grandson, Salvador Tito Sanchez of Little Elm, TX; two great-granddaughters, Carolina Sanchez and Araceli Sanchez both of Oklahoma City; three great-grandsons-in-love, Andrew Sanchez, Christopher Sanchez, and Adrien Castillo, all of Amarillo; her great-granddaughter-in-love, Lauren Castillo of Amarillo; her ex-daughter-in-law, Sylvia Sanchez of Amarillo; and many nephews and nieces.

Khaled adored playing with his grandchildren. Quite the athlete, he enjoyed spending time outdoors hiking in the mountains, swimming, spending time at the lake, watching soccer, and grilling kabobs. He enjoyed playing backgammon. Khaled had a great personality and always had a great time making everyone laugh.
He had a genuine heart, always wanting to help others. Khaled was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Obituary Preview: Paul Frederick Engler peacefully passed from this life on May 3, 2024, at the age of 94. He was born on August 23, 1929, in Stuart, Nebraska, to Henry Paul Engler and Jenny Gill.
He was born an entrepreneur with a love of cattle. He bought his first herd at the age of twelve. Paul graduated from High School at the age of fifteen and continued on to the University of Nebraska, graduating in 1951. In 1960, Paul founded Hereford Feedyard and became an executive at Iowa Beef Packers in 1972. He moved to Dumas, Texas, in 1975 and founded Cactus Feeders. Paul received numerous awards and recognition in the industry throughout his career. In May of 2022, he received an Honorary Ph.D. in Business Administration and Agriculture from West Texas A&M University from both the Paul and Virginia Engler College of Business and the Paul Engler College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences.
Paul valued the opportunities that God and the business world provided him, and as a result, Paul’s legacy is not confined to his lifetime. It thrives through the University of Nebraska, West Texas A&M University, and the Paul F. and Virginia J. Engler Foundation. Paul’s influence and commitment to excellence extended far beyond his professional life, personally touching the lives of many.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia.
Paul is survived by Michael Engler and wife Dalia, Teresa Raizen (†) and husband Dan, Matthew Engler, Mark Engler, Jennifer Coleman and husband Tom, and Sara Cady and husband Steve. He also leaves grandchildren Rachel, Nat, Garrett (†), Ryan, Ben, Claire, Jaxon, Emma, and Sofia, and four great-grandchildren Able, Trevor, Tyler, and August.

Rhenea was born July 23, 1943 in Amarillo, Texas to Emmett and Opal McClenny. She graduated from Canyon High School in 1961. She married Jimmy Lee King on October 5, 1978.
Rhenea was a florist with a beautiful and creative hand. Her fun-loving spirit was shown in all her pieces. She worked for several floral shops over her career, including J&E Wholesale, Freeman’s Flowers, Cunningham’s, United Market Street, and Zelsman’s. She also owned and operated Flowers by Rhenea. She was a member of the Amarillo Florist Association.
Aside from flowers, Rhenea loved the mountains and fishing. She raised her kids going to the family cabin at Lake Buchanan, and later enjoyed going to Red River. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Her four year old great-great grandson, Houston, was her best friend and partner in crime.
Rhenea loved Jesus with all her heart. She was active in church at San Jacinto Baptist Church, and then Coulter Road Baptist Church. She lived life to the fullest and was happy, no matter what challenges she faced. She was an eternal optimist and was accepting of people and non-judgmental. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Rhenea was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Opal McClenny; her husband, Jim King; a sister, Sue Thaxton; a brother, Mark McClenny; and a great-great- granddaughter, Ocean.
Survivors include two daughters, Crystal Gamble and husband Michael of Canyon, Lisa Vega and husband Julio of Prosper, TX; a son, Greg Ballard and wife Desiree of Prosper, TX; eight grandchildren, Erica Marry, Ashley Calhoun and husband Devin, Dusty Gamble and wife Lauren, Chance Gamble and wife Lexi, Mattie Vega, Camille Vega, Cale Coyle and wife Courtney, and Nathan Ballard; 16 great-grandchildren, Raylee, Anna, Ellie, Max, Ty, Gracie, Caleb, Cayce, Tilly, Nova, Callen, Griffin, Caleb, Daniel, Chase and Cheyenne; and three great-great grandchildren, Houston, Ana’Rose, and Marry’Belle. Cathy was born in Dallas, Texas on March 16, 1953, to Homer B. and Helen L. (Cook) Deweese. She attended school at David W. Carter High School and obtained her cosmetology license shortly after graduation. After becoming a cosmetologist, she set off on the path of a very talented hairstylist; a career she was amazing at, and loved, for 47 years.
After relocating to Amarillo, Cathy also attended nursing school at Amarillo College, but found that her true love would always be cosmetology. On July 11, 2007, she married Howard Reardon in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. They enjoyed taking annual Summer trips back to Pagosa Springs to celebrate their anniversary. Cathy also had a love for traveling to and seeing the mountains of Colorado. Together they were members of Messiah's House Church of Amarillo and they enjoyed the fellowship the church brought them.
Cathy had many loves throughout her life. She loved to fish anytime she could, and she was a faithful Dallas Cowboys fan, no matter if they won or lost. When she married Howard, she became a Denver Broncos fan as well. In her spare time, she loved to garden, and was an avid shopper, always on the hunt for the perfect accessory to complete her many outfits. However, none of these things held a flame to her greatest love of spending time with her two daughters and her grandkids. They were her everything.
Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, and her treasured chihuahua Tootsie. Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Howard, daughters Holly Meitus and husband Douglas, Stefany Hunter and husband Danny and their children Trace, Saigunn, Cali, and Levity. Destri Reardon and her children Brian, Rebecca and JP, Jennifer Selman and husband Brian and their children James and Jude; Her brother David Deweese and wife Vicki, her beloved dogs Fancy and Montana; as well as many other extended family members and close friends.

Obituary Preview: It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Holly Vernon Bentley. She was a caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She left peacefully and went to be with Jesus on April 30, 2024 at age 70.
Holly was born to Jack and Nelda Vernon on April 14, 1954 in Amarillo, Texas. She married the love of her life Kenney Bentley on October 25, 1980. Together they had two children Brigitte and James. She will be greatly missed by her beloved grandchildren Bentley, Barron and Baker.
After graduating from Tascosa High School in 1972, Holly began her career in caregiving when she worked as a surgical technologist for Dr. Shwartz. Following in her mother and grandmother’s footsteps, she became a Registered Nurse after graduating from the Amarillo College nursing program in 1996. She worked as a surgical nurse in the operating room for many years and then went on to be the clinical manager of the surgical technology program at Amarillo College. She touched many lives of her co-workers, students, and patients in her 30 plus years as a healthcare professional.
Outside of spending time with her friends and family, Holly enjoyed tending to her garden, cooking, baking, singing, and dancing. She had a love for traveling and loved to be amongst the wildflowers in Colorado. “Gammy” loved her three grandsons dearly and always knew how to put a smile on their face. Holly was elegant, classy, beautiful inside and out, a woman of great faith, and could always make you smile. She planted many flowers over the years, but she was the most beautiful flower in the garden.
Holly was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Nelda Vernon; and a brother Bradley Vernon.
Holly is survived by her husband Kenney Bentley; her daughter Brigitte Artho and husband Brad; her son James Bentley and wife Brittany; her grandchildren Bentley Artho, Barron Artho and Baker Bentley; her brother John Vernon and wife Lisa; her brother Barry Vernon and wife Jennifer along with nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
Visitation will be held from 6-7:00 PM, Monday, May 6, 2024, at Boxwell Brothers, 2800 Paramount. Gloria was born August 30, 1946, in Amarillo to Virgil and Juanita Ballengee. She graduated from Amarillo High School and went on to earn her degrees from Amarillo College and West Texas A&M. Gloria married the love of her life, Harley Reynolds on August 15, 1970. They spent fifty-three wonderful years together. She worked for forty-seven years at the Pantex Plant as an Environmental Analyst.
Gloria loved spending time working in her yard, traveling with her husband, spending time with her dogs, and helping others. Gloria spent many years volunteering for the Harrington Cancer Center. She was an active member at Saint Stephen Methodist Church and played the piano for the Wesley Workers Sunday school class.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Juanita, her sister, Carol and her brother-in-law Gerald Priest, and her brother, Jim Ballengee.

Larry was born on March 23,1940 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Melvin and Mary Ann Uhrich. He was a graduate in 1958 from Gering High School where he achieved many awards in sports such as his record breaking number of rebounds in basketball where a plaque still remains in his name today. After graduating he enlisted in the Army and was in the 101st Airborne Division for three years. Larry moved to Amarillo after his service in the Military and began his career at ASARCO where he was employed for thirty-seven years and retired in 2000. He was an avid bowler who proudly earned a perfect game twice in his bowling career. Larry had a love for golfing and had two hole in ones that he was very proud of. One of his favorite hobbies was to fish and hunt which he annually enjoyed with his dear friends and family. If anyone knew Larry, you would know his love for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Dallas Cowboys as he supported his teams every season. He spent many Saturday mornings meeting with his breakfast buddies and enjoying their friendship. He was known for his jokes and humor that could make anyone laugh at any time!
Larry was preceded in death by his father and mother Melvin and Mary Ann Uhrich.
Larry is survived by his wife, Judy Uhrich, daughter, Cindy Stanley and husband Robert, son, Steve Uhrich and wife Shanna, daughter, Lisa Ward and husband Robbie, all of Amarillo, Texas. His grandchildren Lindsey Stanley, Hunter and Hallie Uhrich, and Blake and Brooke Ward, all of Amarillo, Texas.
