Angie was born in Bellevue, on June 20, 1973 to the late Donald R. and Virginia Ann (Ball) Gibson.
Survivors include her two brothers, Greg Gibson, of Fostoria, Duke (Deb) Gibson of Tiffin, four sisters, Barb (Leroy) Metcalf of Norwalk, Pam (Tim) Dymond of Bellevue, Donna (Steve) Swartzmiller of Batavia, IL, Shelly (Mike Shoup) Elchert of Bloomville, numerous nieces and nephews, her god mother, Mary Weis of Tiffin and her special friend Sue Snyder of Attica.
Angie was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed her telephone who never met a stranger. Angie was a 1996 graduate of Old Fort High School.
Funeral services for Angie will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2022, at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Monday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Monday, at St. Peter and Paul cemetery in Attica.

Lester F. Barber II - August 20, 1958 - March 23, 2022

Obituary Preview: Lester F. Barber II, 63, of Attica, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at his residence.
Lester was born on August 20, 1958 in Tiffin, to the late Lester and Iva Grace (Kohlenberg) Barber. He married Denise (Birch) in Tiffin, on May 22, 1993 and she survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include his daughter, Jessica (Jeremiah) Bare of Republic, a son, Bryan Barber of Minnesota, three grandchildren, Garrett, Gavin and Gracelyn.
Lester worked at American Standard until it closed and was a United States Navy Veteran. Lester enjoyed golf, watching the news and weather channel and working on cars. He was a 1976 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.
Lester was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nancy Prenzlin.
A celebration of life for Lester will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, April 1, 2022 at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville with military rites being rendered by the United Veterans Council.

She was born on March 18, 1935, in Tiffin, to Noah L. and Gladys T. (Hayman) Spitler. She married Eugene J. Holmer on June 6, 1954 and he preceded her in death.
Joyce is survived by her three children, Eugene "Dutch" (Annette Smith) Holmer, Deana (Bryan) McClellan and Hopeann Holmer Runion all of Republic, two grandchildren, Bobbi L. (Mark) Hoffman of Republic, Dallas T. (Valorie) Meyer of Lorain, four great-grandchildren, Logan L. and Jarrett T. Bauer both of Castalia, Jr. A. and Rosie Arnold both of Lorain, two sisters, P. Maxine Philbook of Cardington and Peg A. Spitler of Tiffin and numerous nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Don Holmer of Republic and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Bill L., Ray E. and A. Tom Spitler and a sister, Alice E. Shrode.
Joyce was a 1954 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. Joyce ran the G & J Carryout in Republic for 25 years before retiring. She spent her time sewing, reading and making her own jewelry. She was also a Girl Scout Leader for many years.
Joyce has chosen not to have any visitation or services at this time. Any donation may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Obituary Preview: Betty J. Christian, 93, a former Republic and Panama City, Florida resident, passed away Sunday morning, February 13, 2022, at the Willows at Bellevue.
Betty was born October 10, 1928, in Cooper, Seneca County to Dayle and Elva (Mason) Neikirk. She married James Christian and he preceded her in death in 1995.
She is survived by two sisters, Joyce Dysard of Republic, and Barbara Ink of Pryor, Oklahoma, two nieces, Wendy Sue Ink, and Kathy L. (Dale) Yerigan, and great-nephew, Garrett Yerigan all of Pryor, Oklahoma.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, and a brother in-law, John Dysard.
She had worked for many years for the United States Government as an administrative assistant at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, and in several Government bases in Florida and Colorado.
Betty was a 1946 graduate of Scipio-Republic High School. A member of the First Baptist Church in Panama City in Florida, and the American Dachshund Association, and the American Kennel Club.
There will be no visitation or memorial services at this time for Betty. Services will be announced at a later date, and burial will take place in Block Cemetery Republic. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19 Bloomville is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Steven A. Sauber - July 23, 1952 - February 13, 2022

Obituary Preview: Steven A. Sauber passed away at 8:20pm on Sunday February 13th after a long battle with early onset Alzheimer’s disease. Steve was born on July 23rd, 1952 to Roma L. Reinhard (Sauber) and Albert N. Sauber formerly of Tiffin, both deceased. Steve was previously married to Karen (Ekleberry) Luke Van Horn they later divorced. He has a daughter Jodi L. (Wesley) Barth of Tiffin, Ohio and a son Michael S. Sauber from Kenton, Ohio. Steve had two grandson’s Stone M. Sauber of Kenton, Ohio and Cole A. Barth of Tiffin, Ohio. Also surviving is his sister Jane M. (Sauber) Elsea of Tiffin, Ohio along with many nieces and nephews.
Steve was a long time journeyman electrician opening his own business with his Brother-in law Thomas L. Ekleberry in 1975 in Sycamore, Ohio. S.A. Sauber Inc. Electrical Contractors, his passion was his work. Steve will forever be known as the “The Big Spark”. Steve also spent a great deal of time with the free masons becoming a past master in his small rural town of Sycamore. In his spare time he loved to build and collect model trains and train memorabilia. Steve traveled to many train shows throughout his life-time looking for different collections of train memorabilia, he built both his Grandson’s a Model Train Track with his collection. Steve also enjoyed the water and was an avid scuba diver. His best memory later in life was his time he spent at Hedges Boyer Park as a child.
Appreciation goes to his Aunt Mrs. Marilyn (Sauber) Dennis Heiser of Attica, Ohio for he cherished her and the time they spent together, thank you Aunt Marilyn for always being there.
Steve has elected cremation and there will be no service or visitation at this time. Any donations would be greatly appreciated to The Alzheimer’s Association to help research find a cure. Donations can also be made to the Sycamore American Legion Post #250 and also to the Sycamore Free Masons Lodge #579.

Obituary Preview: Richard D. Barrell, 93, of Republic, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin.
He was born on May 14, 1928, in Tiffin, to Glenn B. and Bertha M. (Fruth) Barrell. He married E. Mardelle Fretz at St. Jacob’s United Church of Christ in Republic, on August 13, 1950 and she preceded him in death on January 19, 2022.
Dick is survived by his children, Cindy (Jim) Voorhees of Republic and Glenwood (Andrea) Barrell of Tiffin, eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, an infant daughter, Debra Barrell, three great-great-grandchildren, two brothers, Robert F. and Glenn J. Barrell and a step-sister, Helen Herman.
Dick was a 1947 graduate of Scipio-Republic High School and a 1984 graduate of Winebrenner Theological Seminary. He was a member St. Jacob’s United Church of Christ, the Gideon’s, the Grange and the Scipio- Republic Historical Society. He sang with the New Gospel Tones and the Gospel Heirs, who often sang in area nursing homes. Mardelle and Dick loved to go camping and to travel. They often delivered clothes in their motorhome to homeless shelters and Indian reservations.
He served as a pastor at the York Street Christian Union, Reedsburg Church of God and the Deweyville Church of God. He also owned and operated the Barrell Tile Works and later Permacast Concrete Products.
There will be a celebration of Richard and Mardelle's life at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022 at St. Jacob's United Church of Christ with Pastor Darla Metz officiating. Visitation for friends and family will also be held on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the church. There will be no burial held at this time. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville is assisting the family with their arrangements.

David was born July 27, 1939, in Tiffin, to the late Daniel and Lillian I. (Myers) Runion. He married Betty J. (Dearth) in Republic on February 12, 1972 and she preceded him in death on August 22, 2005.
David is survived by his daughter, Lisa Runion of Clyde and his son, John (Lori) Runion of Republic, two grandchildren, Seth and Brody, three step-grandchildren, Timothy, Trey and Makenzie, a great-granddaughter, Raelynn, a brother, Dan (Coco) Runion of Clyde, a sister, Julia Runion of Bay View, and a special friend, Delores Chapman of Bellevue.
David retired in 2004 from Clyde Whirlpool and was a member of the St. Jacob’s United Church of Christ. He was a 1959 graduate of Scipio Republic High School and enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and Indians.
David was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Betty J. Runion and a brother, Petie Runion.
Funeral services for David will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at the St. Jacob’s United Church of Christ in Republic with the Rev. Darla Metz officiating. Mardelle was born on April 2, 1929, in Republic to the late Earl H. and Doris F. (Miller) Fretz. She married Richard D. Barrell at St. Jacob’s United Church of Christ in Republic, on August 13, 1950, and he survives in Tiffin.
Mardelle is survived by her children, Cindy (Jim) Voorhees of Republic and Glenwood (Andrea) Barrell of Tiffin, eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and a brother, David (Jan) Fretz of Republic.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Debra Barrell, three great-great grandchildren and a brother, James Fretz.
Mardelle worked as a grade school teacher at Bloomville, Scipio-Republic and Hopewell-Loudon Schools and she was always considered everyone’s favorite teacher.  She and her husband Richard also worked for the Scipio Twp. mowing the cemeteries. She was a 1947 graduate of Scipio-Republic High School and later Bowling Green State University. She was a member and church organist at St. Jacob’s UCC Church in Republic, a former Grange member, and sang and played in the New Gospel Tones, and in the Gospel Heirs, which played at many of the local nursing homes. She also was a member of the Scipio-Republic Historical Society.
There will be a celebration of Richard and Mardelle's life at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022 at St. Jacob's United Church of Christ with Pastor Darla Metz officiating. Betty was born in Lorain, on July 8, 1935 to the late Nevin and Esther (Renninger) Haudenshild. She married Louis Thomas Brown in Flat Rock, on March 28, 1953 and he preceded her in death on April 24, 1990.
Survivors include her children, Nancy Higginbtham of Sycamore, Christine Burton of Tenn., Louis (Tammi) Brown of Bloomville, Sara (Travis) Cotsamire of Sycamore, eleven grandchildren, several great and great-great-grandchildren, a brother, Howard Haudenshild of Oregon, two sisters, Cindy Diodato of Oregon and Bonnie Schuck of Tiffin.
Betty worked at C.E. White Company in New Washington and was a member of the New Washington United Methodist Church where she was active in their quilting club.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Brenda Bocook, seven brothers, Robert, Ronnie, Richard, James, Larry, Roger and Philip Haudenshild, five sisters, Mary Kirkwood, her twin sister, Doris Hennsinger, Shirley Wertz, Beverly Taylor and Loretta Brown.
Funeral services for Betty will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville. Paul E. Bridgford - January 16, 1940 - January 13, 2022

Obituary Preview: Paul Edward Bridgford peacefully went home to be with The Lord on January 13, 2022.  For those of you that knew Paul this was his greatest desire.  He loved The Lord and shared His abundant grace with everyone he could.
Paul was born January 16, 1940, to Ivan and Arvilla Bridgford in Sycamore. After graduating High School, Paul served his country by enlisting in the United States Navy from 1958 until 1962. Upon coming home he soon met the love of his life, Sandra Shellhammer. He informed her very early on he was going to marry her and he did just that on July 16, 1966.
Paul and Sandra were blessed with three children, Shelley (Tom) Smith, Steve (Renee) Bridgford and Stephanie (Tom Rickard) Bridgford. The blessings further continued with grandchildren, Bryan (Miranda) Stacklin, Kristin Watson, Megan Watson, Emmeline Hiler, Ally Bridgford and Turner Bridgford, then great-grandchildren, Ivan, Penelope, Ellison, Ocean and Theodore.
Paul always an avid learner attended Tiffin University and Terra Tech. He retired as an electrician from Armstrong Air in 2005. He loved The Word of God, golf, spending time with his family and friends.
Funeral services for Paul will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, from 4-7 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Wednesday, at Attica-Venice cemetery with military rites being rendered by the Attica American Legion Post 260.

Barbara was born May 3, 1958, in Tiffin, to Richard A. and Carolyn J. (Valentine) Sharpe. Barb married Gene Kuhn on July 29, 1977, in Tiffin and he survives in Tiffin.
Survivors include her father, Richard A. Sharpe of Tiffin, a son, Randy (Penny) Kuhn of Tiffin, a daughter, Nicki (Derrick) Schreiner of New Riegel, seven grandchildren, a brother, Steven (Debbie) Sharpe of Bellevue and a sister, Louann (Larry Smelser) of Fostoria.
Barb was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn on January 7, 2016 and an infant son, Matthew Allen Kuhn on January 15, 1981.
Barb worked for twenty-nine years at the Tiffin Developmental Center as an aide. She was a 1975 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. Barb enjoyed camping, traveling, especially traveling to Jamaica many times on vacation and loved being with her grandchildren.
Services for Barbara will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19 Bloomville, with Rev. Gary Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Tiffin.
Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, January 14, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville.

He was born May 8, 1933 in Willard, to Leo A. and Viola A. (Featheringill) Stockmaster. He married Janet Betts on September 27, 1954 and she passed away on July 13, 1979. He later married Shirley A. Reed on October 10, 1980 and she survives in Attica.
Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda (John) Crunkilton of Butler, two sons, Donald S. Stockmaster of Marblehead, Eric E. (Antonia) Stockmaster of Ogden, UT., a step-daughter, Debra (John) Martin of Attica, a step-son, Scott Bordner of Attica, twelve grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren and a sister, Margaret Trauger of Dayton.
Don was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet and a sister, Mary Lou Schank and a step-daughter, Colleen Kirkpatrick.
Don had worked for Slessman Excavating as a construction Equipment operator. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict with the 101st Airborne and was discharged as corporal. Don attended Willard City Schools, and was a member of the Attica American Legion Post #260.
Don enjoyed hunting and fishing, and in his earlier years he was involved in open wheel street stock car racing, and watching rodeos on TV. He also rode bulls and saddle broncs, and was a rodeo judge. Don enjoyed watching girl’s softball games.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday January 17, 2022, at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19 Bloomville, with Pastor Mark Boedeker officiating. Burial will follow in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Willard. The Attica American Legion Post #260 will conduct military graveside services.
Visitation will be Monday, January 17, 2022, from 10:00 am. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

David Howard Powell - April 28, 1953 - January 07, 2022

Obituary Preview: David Howard Powell, 68, of Republic, passed away January 7, 2022, at Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin, due to complications from Vascular Dementia.
He was born April 28, 1953, in Tiffin, to Leonard H. and Geneivee J. (Yambert) Powell. He married Mary Martin on November 9, 1974, at the Republic United Church of Christ. Mary survives in Republic.
Survivors include two daughters, Niccole (Tom) Avalon of Medina, Natalie (Rob) Siston of Dublin, four grandchildren, Andrew and Elliott Avalon, and Mary Beth and Katie Siston, a sister, Sharon Nedolast of Tiffin, and many nieces and nephews.
David was a 1971 graduate of Seneca East High School. He received his mechanic certification from Vanguard Tech in 1972. He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Tiffin, and a former member of Seneca Lodge #790 F&AM and was a past master, and a former member of Cornelia Chapter #93OES.
While Dave worked a long career that included National Machinery, NAPA, and ICP, what mattered most to him was his life outside of work. He was an avid cross-stitcher, winning numerous awards at the Seneca County Fair. He played baritone in the North Coast Concert Band and sang in the community and church choir. He was a Civil War buff and visited numerous battle sites. His favorite memory was playing his baritone at Gettysburg National Cemetery. He loved to travel and visited almost every state in the United States by van. He loved the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians, NASCAR, and John Deere tractors. He was an ardent supporter of veterans, and ensured all had a proper flag at their gravesite. He was a constant “tinkerer”, lawn mower, wood maker, photographer and hat collector. He loved animals and provided a home to many shelter dogs during his lifetime. He was very active in his community and church, and local school activities. He never missed one of his daughters' marching band shows, volleyball games or musical performances.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on January 11, 2022, at St. John’s United Church of Christ, on 10 Main Street in Tiffin, with Rev. Audra Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Farewell Retreat Cemetery in Republic.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday January 10, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19 Bloomville. The family requests that everyone in attendance please wear a facial covering.
The family would like to thank all of his caregivers at Autumnwood Care Center, ProMedica/Heartland Hospice, and Dr. Amin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca County Humane Society or Honor Flight Network.

Obituary Preview: Jeanette M. Detrich, 82, of Attica, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Valley View Health Campus in Fremont.
Jeanette was born October 27, 1939, in Oakland, Maryland, to the late James and Ethel (Lantz) Hinebaugh. Her family moved to Willard when she was a child. Jeanette graduated from Willard High School in 1957. She married the love of her life Dale E. Detrich on May 14, 1960.
After working as a payroll clerk for RR Donnelley in Willard, Jan worked at Aukland Flower & Gift Shoppe in Attica. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jan never met a “stranger” and thanked every veteran she passed for their service. She loved to take pictures and was passionate about preserving history, serving as an active member of the Attica Historical Society. Jan enjoyed her flowerbeds, cooking for friends and family and watching the Cleveland Indians.
Survivors include sons, Allan (Mary) Detrich of Fremont and Matt (Tammy) Detrich of Fishers, IN, grandchildren, Alissa (Joe) Taylor of Tiffin, Katrina (Fred) Betz of Chelsea, MI, Noah Detrich of Fremont, Lauren Detrich of Indianapolis, IN, Lindsay Detrich of Greenwood, IN and five great-grandchildren.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dale Detrich, daughter, Becky Detrich and brother, James Hinebaugh.
Funeral services for Jeanette will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19, Bloomville. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Obituary Preview: Dale E. Detrich, 82, of Attica, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at The Willows of Bellevue following complications of Parkinson’s Disease.
Dale was born March 29, 1939, in Whipple, to the late Roy and Alice (Hostetler) Detrich of Republic. He was a 1957 graduate of Scipio-Republic High School and married the love of his life, Jeanette M. (Hinebaugh) on May 14, 1960.
After working for more than forty years as an electrical engineer, Dale retired from RR Donnelley in Willard. He loved spending time with family and friends. Dale also enjoyed machining small internal combustion engines and miniature spark plugs, then displaying his craftsmanship at area engine shows. He was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and even attended spring training with his wife. Dale was also a Cleveland Browns and OSU Football fan.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, sons, Allan (Mary) Detrich of Fremont, and Matt (Tammy) Detrich of Fishers, IN, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a sister, Dorothy Wolfe of Cutler.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Becky Detrich.
Funeral services for Dale will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19 Bloomville. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Wednesday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. There will be no burial held at this time.

Obituary Preview: Robert George Gabel, 84 of Bloomville, passed away comfortably into his heavenly father’s home at 5:52 p.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at St. Vincent’s Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. Bob was a Christmas baby, born December 25, 1936. He, like most other Christmas babies, always kidded about getting "short changed" on gifts, but his family always had a special birthday gift and cake for him!
Bob’s parents were Leonard and Ida (Hammer) Gabel and he was born in the Fremont home. He and his wife, Beverly (Seitz) of Bloomville who survives, were married October 11, 1975. They are so proud of their son, Michael Robert Dale, his wife, Ila Marie and grandchildren, Jenna Marie Anne, Kiana Jaide, LeeAnna Starr, Malachi Charles Robert, Nashton William and Oakley Matthew and bonus grandchildren, Sophia Abigail and Madison Paige. Bob is also survived by his sister, Shirley Rose (Jerry) Miller of Fremont, nieces and nephews, Richard "Rick" Joseph Miller of Dublin, Lynn Marie (Richard) Baranowski of Perrysburg, Lawrence James (Joyce) Miller of Tallmadge, Randal Lee (Kathy) Miller of Cleveland, Holly Kay Miller of Irving, Texas, Stephen Michael (Virginia) Gabel of Fremont, Sharon (Michael) Hatlay of Clyde and Mark Gabel of Fremont, several great-nieces and nephews and Spade, his cat companion.
Bob's parents, four brothers, Kenneth Lewis, Clement William, Lawrence James and Cletus Joseph preceded him in death as well as his favorite and lovable cat companion, Pumpkin. Bob was not a "joiner" but he did enjoy football, auto races and especially going to fairs. His favorite vacation was when the entire Michael’s family went to Myrtle Beach a year ago and he was ready to go back anytime!
Bob attended Jackson-Burgoon School in Sandusky County. He farmed the family farm until he got a factory job and worked at various area nurseries, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Green Springs Nursery until it closed and he later retired from the Pioneer Mill Restaurant. He enjoyed working in his vegetable and flower gardens and taking care of his lawn. He was the family Christmas decorator as he enjoyed doing this and was good at it! His decorating will be truly missed!
Bob was a member of the St. Joseph’s Church in Fremont, attended the St. Joseph’s Church in Tiffin and the Melmore United Methodist Church.
Funeral services for Bob will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, December 27, 2021 at the Melmore United Methodist Church on SR 67 in Melmore with Pastor Amy Vittorio officiating. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m., on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, SR 19, Bloomville and one-hour prior to the service on Monday, at the church. Burial will follow the services on Monday, at Pleasant View Cemetery.
The family is asking that memorials be made to the Melmore United Methodist Church, the Bloomville EMS or to the Seneca County Humane Society.

Obituary Preview: Cindy P. Oberholtzer 63, of Tiffin, passed away Friday December 17, 2021, at her home in Tiffin.
She was born June 15, 1958 in Tecumseh, Michigan to Frank A. Strang and Ruby Carol (Dunn) Hammond. Cindy married Jamie Oberholtzer on June 18, 1983, and they later divorced.
She is survived by a brother, Larry (Julie Peck)  Strang of Toledo, two sisters, Lelia (David) Garcia of Bloomville, Megan (Joe) Tabor of Las Vegas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cindy had lived in many places, Fostoria, Tiffin, Alma, Colorado, Friendship, Wisconsin, and Bloomville. She was a 1976 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, and later study business management, marketing, and hospitality business management, at Terra State Community College.
She had worked as a bartender, and at the Family Services, a manager for Hi-Miler Gas Station, a cook at the Bloomville Nursing Home, and also as a vendor at the Tiffin Flea Market, as well as Jam’s monthly market. Cindy’s passion was entering baked goods for the Seneca and Sandusky County Fairs and the Attica Independent Fair. She was a award winning baker.
A Celebration of Cindy's life will be held from 1-3 p.m., on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the Jesus Way of Life Ministry Church at 26 East New Haven Street in Bloomville. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19 Bloomville is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Gilbert was born December 2, 1935 in Tiffin, to the late Joseph and Marcella (Buchman) Wurm. He married Leila (Brickner ) at St. Andrews Catholic Church on October 15, 1960 and she survives in Tiffin.
Survivors include his five sons, Tony (Janette) Wurm of Attica, Jim (Linda) Wurm of Republic, Don (Lisa Rombach) Wurm of Tiffin, David (Dee) Wurm of Charlestown, IN, Dale Wurm of Lima, daughter, Diane (Glen) Wise of Attica, seven grandchildren, Derek (Nicole) Wurm, Jarrod Wurm, Blake Wurm, Lauren Wurm, Dalton Wise, Alexis Wise, and Haylee Wurm, two great-grandchildren, Caden and Spencer Wurm, a brother, Harold (Rose) Wurm of Willard and a sister, Barbara Vogel of Republic.
Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Janet Ann Wurm, two brothers, Ronald Wurm and Marvin Wurm.
Gilbert worked in Sales for Valeron in Detroit for 30 years, and also worked part-time at ICP in Tiffin, retiring in 2016. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Attica, Tiffin Moose Lodge and Tiffin Eagles club. Gilbert was in the National Guard from 1954 until 1963 and was a 1954 graduate of Attica High School. Mass of Christian Burial for Gilbert will be held at  10:30  a.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with The Rev. Nathan Bockrath and The Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating, and burial will follow at Seneca Memory Gardens Tiffin. Military graveside services will be conducted by the United Veteran Council of Seneca County. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021from, 4- 7 p.m., at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19, Bloomville. Obituary Preview: Jacqueline Dunn went to be home with the Lord at 3:05 a.m., Sunday, December 12, 2021. Jackie was the fourth child born to Marcus and Gertrude Howard on February 21, 1937 at Big Branch Hallow, Helton, Kentucky in Leslie County.
Jackie lived a rugged, adventurous childhood filled with stories of walking home from school, pets and playing on the mountain with her sister and best friend, LaVonne.
She graduated from high school in Pennsylvania. She met the love of her life Ernest E. Dunn on a blind date in Washington D. C. They married August 31, 1959 and settled in Tiffin, Ohio where they raised their four children, Thomas, Deborah, David and Stephen.
Jackie’s pride and joy was her family. Visits from family, was a source of constant giggling. She loved her gardening, canning, cooking and especially her nightly golf cart rides. She looked forward to her weekly movie and dinner date night with Ernie and spending time at their snowbird home in Florida, with new-found friends.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus and Gertrude Howard, siblings Evelyn (Underwood) Wilson, Herb (Fern) Howard, Lavonne (Daniel) Hendrickson, husband, Ernest and a son, Thomas.
Jackie is survived by daughter, Deborah of Lexington, KY, sons, David, Stephen (Donna Kaye) both of Republic. Siblings Jennifer Nance, Marcus (Robin) Howard, Kim Ballenger, Todd (Marina) Howard and Cindy Howard.
Funeral services for Jackie will be at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville with Pastor Stephanie Little officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Saturday, at Pleasant Ridge cemetery.

She was born November 30, 1947 in Tiffin, to James and Viola (Weber) Walter. Diane married George T. Boyd February 25, 1967, in England, and he preceded her in death on September 16, 2016.
Survivors include a son, Thomas (Anita) Boyd of Tiffin, and daughter, Deborah (Stephen) Wise of Republic, a special granddaughter, Deanna Boyd of Tiffin, a step-granddaughter, Amanda (Cory) Menke, of  Wisconsin, three step-great-grandchildren, her best four leg companion Trixie, a brother, Chuck (Roberta) Walter of Republic, two sisters, Pamela (Norb) Mossing of Swanton, Ohio, Nancy (John ) Park of Astatula, Florida, a half- sister, Laurie Couch of New Jersey, two brother in-laws, Ted Boyd of Tiffin, and Chuck Boyd of Forest, three sister in-laws, Mary Jane Daughenbaugh of Troy, Leona (Tom ) Carlin of Tiffin, and Phyllis Boyd of Florida, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and step-father, Ray Gibson, her husband, a brother Jimmy Walter, a brother in–law, Nick Daughenbaugh, and a sister in-law, Margaret Ann Biller.
Diane attended Tiffin Columbian High School, and she moved to England and married her husband, and upon her return to Tiffin, she earned her GED, and she was very proud of that. She worked at the Virginia Lee Nursing Home in Tiffin, and also the manager at Speedway in Tiffin. She later became the manager of Hy-Miler Gas Station in Tiffin, retiring in 2004.
Diane’s summers were spent at her cottage along the Sandusky River, near Fremont. She also enjoyed reading, watching the Hallmark channel, and spending time with her granddaughter.
Services will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19 Bloomville, with Rev. Rex King officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Tiffin.
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 11-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Seneca County, or to the United Veteran Council of Seneca County.

Connie graduated from Columbia High School in May of 1947, where she participated in sports and music and held many fond memories of her school years and her classmates, with whom she continued to have contact.
On August 29, 1948 at the Columbia Baptist Church she married Harold Meyers who preceded her in death on April 2, 1990.
Survivors include a son, David (Judy) Meyers of Salinas, CA, a daughter, Wendy (Gary) Agin of North Robinson, five grandchildren, Lisa, John (Rachel), Michael Meyers all of CA, and Maranda (Jim) Miller of Bucyrus and Matt Agin of North Robinson, eight great-grandchildren, Madison, Ethan and Sydney Furr of Bucyrus, Hunter, Jamison and Sage Meyers of Idaho and Benjamin and Wells Meyers of CA, two step grandchildren, Joshua and Brittany Miller of Bucyrus, and a step-great-great grandson, Elliott Miller of Bucyrus.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and their wives, Wilbur (Velma) and Wayne (Alice) Stinchcomb.
Connie was a member of Bloomville United Church of Christ, a past member of the Bloom Community Grange, State and National Grange, Mother Hour Club, Farm Women's Club of Bloomville, a ten year employee of Bloomville School Cafeteria and a thirty-four year employee as a cook and dietary manager at the Ruffing Family Care Center in Bloomville, retiring in 2005.
Connie enjoyed her yard and garden work, taking trips to the Amish country and to California. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, county and state fairs where she received many awards for her baking. She also enjoyed delivering mobile meals for the nursing home.
Funeral services for Connie will be at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville with Pastor Tom Kagy officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Saturday, at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Peg (Phillip) Benner of Tiffin, two sons, Steven (Viola) Weiker of Colfax, Wisconsin, and Jay (Mary) Weiker of Middleton, Wisconsin, nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren, a sister, Dorothy Thompson of Bradenton, Florida. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Phyllis had worked for 25 years as a school bus driver for the Seneca East Public Schools, and also worked on the Weiker family farm. She was a 1954 graduate of Scipio-Republic High School, a member of the Republic United Church of Christ, a member and past Worthy Matron of Cornelia Chapter #93 OES in Republic. She was a member of the Seneca County Farm Bureau and the Grange, a former 4-H advisor for the Scipio Squaws, and she also gave accordion lessons, and worked with ceramics.
Services will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., at the Republic United Church of Christ 312 S. Madison Street in Republic, with Rev. Darla Metz officiating. Burial will follow at St. Jacob’s Cemetery Republic.
Visitation for family and friends will be Friday,  November 26, 2021, from 4-7:00 p.m. at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19 Bloomville. Cornelia Chapter #93 OES will conduct Eastern Stars Service Friday at 6:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

Anthony was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Raymond "Buzz" and Evelyn Cooley, paternal grandparents, Opal "Faye" and Lamoyne Sims, uncle, Scott Sims and a nephew, Alijah Paul McCallister.
Anthony was a 2009 graduate of Pleasant Grove High School, Texarkana, TX, where he played baseball and football. His love of baseball and football continued throughout his life. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye's fan. Early in life, Anthony played for different baseball teams, from t-ball through high school, starting at Tiffin Columbian, transferring to Pleasant Grove during his junior year. After graduating, he played semi-Pro for Tiffin Travelers plus others. He loved being on the field, either playing first base or pitching. Anthony loved being an uncle to all his nieces and nephews and spending time with them.
There will be a Celebration of Anthony's Life held from 6-8 p.m., on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19, Bloomville. There will be no burial held at this time.
