Sherry had been an administrative assistant for Aldi Foods for over 26 years and was also a member of the local Garden Club of Paducah. Sherry is survived by her husband of over 53 years, Richard Dorris of Paducah; one son, Wesley Dorris of St. Charles, IL.; one daughter, Stacy Dorris of Nashville, TN.; three grandchildren, Ally Dorris of St. Charles, IL., Andy and Henry Proctor of Nashville, TN.; one brother, Rod helm of St. Charles, IL.; and one sister, Bonnie Helm of St. Charles, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Helm and Betty Mathilda Ann Diederich Helm. No services will be held at this time per the family's request. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Sue Edmonds of Ledbetter.  One daughter, Pam Baker and one son, Jeff Edmonds, both of Ledbetter.  Three sisters; Nancy Cooper of Ledbetter, Carolyn Jones of Springfield, TN, and Betty Babb of Kevil, KY.
Mr. Edmonds was preceded in death by his parents; Everett and Hannah Edmonds and one sister, Susie Boone.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday April 27, 2022 at Lindsey Funeral Home.  With the Rev. Terry Mitchenson officiating.  Interment to follow at Edmonds Cemetery, with military rites.

Agripina is survived by two brothers; two sisters; eight children, Teresa Ocampo, Joey (Boyet) Dabu, Pannie Orange, Maria (Magda) Quiambao, Cora Stolper, Josie Underwood, Jimmy Dabu, and Marcy Dabu; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Dabu Jr.; one daughter, Veronica McDaniel; her parents, Hermogenes Meneses and Maria Mandap Meneses; and seven brothers and sisters.
Friends may visit the family on Sunday, April 24th, 2022, from 2 to 4pm at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah. Funeral services will begin immediately following visitation at 4pm with Chaplain Tom Salivino officiating. Cremation will follow services per family wishes.

Larry graduated from Reidland High School where he was an athlete. Larry and his brother, Barry, both played basketball and were known as the “twin towers”. After high school, he worked hard in the coal mines for many years and recently retired from Calvert City Metals and Alloys.
In his free time, Larry was an avid outdoorsman. He could be found hunting, fishing, camping or spending time on Lake Barkley with his family and friends. Larry enjoyed watching Nascar and UK basketball. He loved his family, was a sports dad of two daughters and a proud grandpappy. Larry was a loyal friend to many.
Larry is survived by his daughters, Tiffany Snow and Shelby (Jordan) Snow-Smith; his mother, Wilma Snow; one sister, Rhonda (Mike) Harris; a twin brother, Barry (Diane) Snow; two grandchildren, Cora Smith and Fischer Smith; one aunt, Debbie Pinson; one uncle, Tommy (Mary Ann) Snow; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceding Larry in death is his father, Charles Snow, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Albert retired from Beltline Electric Company and a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 816. He was a 1961 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. Albert was honorably discharged from the Army National Guard of Kentucky and as a reserve of the Army.
Albert is survived by his wife, Carolyn Armstrong Marshall; one daughter, Sandra Lynn Harper; and one grandson, James Christian Stephenson.
Preceding Albert in death were his parents, Albert Marshall Sr. and Buford “Boots” Wallace, and one brother, Michael Marshall.

Marianne was born Jan 13th, 1957 in Mount Prospect, Illinois. She was the daughter of Margaret (Dougherty) and Thomas Hennegan. She graduated from South Windsor High School in South Windsor, Connecticut class of 1975. Marianne married Edward Lorenz on August 5th, 1985.
She worked in the restaurant industry as a waitress and later on with people who had developmental disabilities and was of the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her dogs and watching her shows.
She is survived by her husband, Edward; a daughter Jennifer (Tim Marley); and a son, Michael both of Sterling, Illinois; 7 grandchildren; a brother, Michael of Oregon; 4 nephews and several cousins. Also, her grandson's mother Rai who was like a daughter to her.
Marianne is preceded in death by both of her parents and her brother Tim. Also, her 3 beloved dogs Bailey, Jasmine, and Snickers whom she loved so very much. If you knew Marianne you would know how much she loved animals.
She was a shy person. She did not want a funeral or any other services.
At Marianne’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.

Paul Edwin Solomon - March 11, 1948 - April 10, 2022

Obituary Preview: Paul “Huggy” Edwin Solomon, 74, of Paducah, passed away unexpectedly at his home Sunday, April 10, 2022.
He was born in Alton, Illinois on March 11, 1948. He was an avid Eagle Scout and achieved perfect attendance throughout school before graduating form Reidland High School. Paul was very intense and passionate during all his years on this earth and never met a stranger. At 19, he began an apprenticeship as a pipefitter with Local 184 and became a skilled, lifelong pipefitter/welder. He valued hard work and took pride in his work ethic. He had a tremendous heart and would help family fix cars and in any other way he could. Paul was very competitive and enjoyed playing tennis and racquetball and if you asked him, he never lost a game. Once he had children, he turned to coaching and helped teach them in multiple sports. He also enjoyed playing Rook, but if he ever lost it would be all his partner’s fault. One saying of his that will stick with his family forever is “if you’re gonna be a bear, be a grizzly”.
Paul is survived by his wife of almost 43 years, Debbie; two daughters, Marcey Simmons and Melissa Bobbitt of Paducah, Kentucky; two sons, Matthew (Denise) Solomon and Michael (Tabatha) Solomon of Paducah, Kentucky; grandchildren, Taylor, Mikayla, Karsyn, Mia, and Malana; and two sisters.
Preceding Paul in death were his parents, one son, two brothers, and a sister.
A visitation for Paul will be held Friday, April 15, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Lindsey Funeral Home. Funeral services for Paul will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 11:00 am at Lindsey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Kenton Cemetery.

Peter F. Kurlas - Unknown - April 05, 2022

Obituary Preview: Peter F. Kurlas, 84, of Paducah, KY passed away peacefully on April 5, 2022, surrounded by family.
In 1937 Northern KY, Pete was born to John and Frances Kurlas.  Kentucky was always HOME.  This was where his uncles sparked his bass fishing passion, where he sang Doo Wop in The Taboos and The Craters with High School friends, and danced to “that Devil’s Music” Rock and Roll. He helped his mom with raising his sister Sandy and brother Ken and was a proud loving father of 4 daughters.  Pete cofounded Goldenrod BassMasters Northern Kentucky Fishing Club and had lifelong friends who fished annually on Lake St. Clair in Canada and at Kentucky Lake, KY.  Pete was a maintenance mechanic at Monsanto Port Plastics when he met his wife of 35 years, Cynthia.   Together, they attended and hosted family outings, went to SEC Conference Basketball Tournaments and went to UK Football tailgates/games.  He created special memories with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren - each had at least one ride on Papa/Grandpa’s knee while he whistled his version of William Tell Overture, a few chats while talking like Donald Duck, and at least one ice-cream cone.  After retiring, he had more time to make and use his Reel Thing Lures fishing lures, fish at his favorite locations in Kentucky Lake, and develop a passion for bluegrass music.  Pete will be dearly missed and always remembered for a full-loved life.
Pete was predeceased by his parents.  He is survived by his wife, brother Ken (Cheri), sister Sandy (Rick), daughters Micki (Mike), Christy (Todd), Sherri (Andy), Toni (Jeff) and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
