Torres Lopez and wife Cathy, Ardalio Torres Lopez and wife Gudelia, Rogelio Torres Lopez, Vicky Torres Lopez and husband Andres, Alfredo Torres Lopez and wife Valencia, Alma Karina Torres Lopez and husband Cayetano, and Tania Torres Lopez and husband Mauro; grandchildren: Fernando, Angelica, Jose Jr., Jose Gordito, Richard, Charly, Tony, Cynthia, Brayan, Gaby, Izzy, Violeta, Emmanuel, Reina, Luis, Saulo, Lauren, Maddison, Leonardito, JJ, and Moctezuma; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, May 30th, 2024 at the Lescher-Millsap Funeral Chapel with Rene Sandoval and Israel Serrano officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee OK under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
Pallbearers for the service are Jose Torres, David Salgado, Cayetano Lopez, Andres Chavero, Alfredo Torres, and Mauro Villeda.

Anthony Olzawski - April 11, 1959 - May 22, 2024

Obituary Preview: Anthony (Tony) Vincent Olzawski passed away May 22, 2024, after a long fight with Parkinson disease. Tony was born April 11, 1959 in McAlester, OK. Parkinson and all its compounding effects dramatically changed his life with the most significant and heartbreaking change being his inability to travel and visit with his daughters and grandchildren.
Tony was a proud Muskogee Rougher, excelling in football and baseball. He also played baseball at Bacone College. Tony was an avid fisherman and hunter. Striper fishing below Eufaula Dam along with Turkey and duck hunting were his favorites. Tony’s early working career started with M.K.T. (Katy) railroad working out of the Pryor area. He was transferred to the St Louis area after the Union Pacific bought out the Katy. Tony moved back to Muskogee after retirement and took a job with Griffin Foods where he worked until his illness prevented him from working.
Tony is survived by daughters Carly Olzawski, Nicole Lundak, husband Brock and children Brock III, Addison, Violet, Beau, and Brody; Danielle Kitcher, husband Alex and children Ronan, Connor, Clare and Riley; three brothers Rick, wife Dolly, Steve, wife Mary and Charles Olzawski and numerous nephews and nieces.
Tony is preceded in death by our parents Gene Olzawski and Janice (Quinton) Olzawski and sister Carolyn Ketcham.

Obituary Preview: The Lord called Ruth Wilma (Hensley) McDaniel home on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. She was born on October 20, 1924 in Webbers Falls, Ok to William and Lizzie (Crane) Hensley.
Ruth attended Webbers Falls High School and received her degree from Connors State College. On December 11, 1948, Ruth married Manon Melvin McDaniel in Muskogee, OK. After Manon’s retirement from the Armed Services they made their home in the Oklahoma City and Edmond areas. Ruth worked and retired from the Social Security Administration in the early 90’s. After the death of her husband, Manon, she moved to Porum, OK where she became an active member of her Assembly of God Church family.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents William and Lizzie (Crane) Hensley, brothers: Bill, Lee, Paul, Ray, Ellis and Dale Hensley. Her sisters Della Ray, Mae Hensley, Amy Poole, Cooie Haney, Grace DeVoe and Nell O’Dell.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews and numerous great & great-great nieces and nephews.

Obituary Preview: William Robert “Bob” Crigger, Muskogee resident, passed from this life on May 19, 2024 at the age of 79.
Bob was born February 10, 1945 in Kansas City, KS, the son of Joseph and Bettie (House) Crigger. The family lived in Independence, KS until Bob was 8 years old, at which time the family moved to Rodeo, CA. He grew up in Rodeo and became a family friend of the Cartwright “clan,” not knowing that one of them, Rita Cartwright, would become his future wife. Bob and Rita were married February 21, 1965 in Reno, NV.
Bob was a long time carpenter working mostly commercial construction in the Bay Area. He was a soft spoken man of few words, but as it was said by one of his nephews, “he doesn’t say much, but when he does speak, you should listen.” He was wise, witty, and loved telling life stories to his grandsons. He was a loving, caring Dad to his children, “Pop” to his grandchildren, and a favorite uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
Bob is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rita, of the home, son Ty Crigger of Vacaville, CA and daughter Tracy Guthrie and husband Rick of McAlester, OK; two brothers Melvin Crigger and wife Paula of Seligman, MO and Larry Crigger of Independence, KS; three sisters Sue Hornsby of Rodeo, CA, Kay Freeman and husband John of Rodeo, CA and Gloria Hunt and husband David of El Sobrante, CA; four grandsons Trevor Kennedy and wife Kamra of Indianola, OK, Chase Kennedy and wife Ashtyn of Crowder, OK, Jesse Crigger and wife Cassandra of Cypress, TX, and Jake Crigger of Vacaville, CA; one granddaughter Jaclyn Millet of Moscow, ID; six great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Obituary Preview: Mildred Maxine Luke of Muskogee Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Saturday May 11, 2024 at the age of 83. She was born October 17, 1940 to William and Florence (Franklin) Mickels in Warner, OK. Mildred grew up in and around Checotah. She married her one and only love, Cecil Luke, in 1956. In their early years they travelled and lived in Texas, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho before settling in Muskogee.
Mildred quickly adapted from being one of eight sisters to living with a husband and her three boys. She encouraged and taught her boys to be involved in many sports and activities always attending and supporting their endeavors. Meanwhile she still managed to be a wonderful wife and business partner to her husband.
She spent countless hours raising her boys to be strong men who value family, honor and service. She loved to hear updates on her family, especially her boys adventures from all over the world. She was a strong woman who was always ready to protect her family. She had a keen sense of humor and laughed everyday.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren who at times lived in town. She fostered a love of reading in her grandchildren. Her grandchildren will miss her encouragement and unwavering support of following their dreams.
She was a passionate golfer and loved traveling to tournaments with her friends and playing in “Scotch Foursome” events with her husband.
She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; 6 sisters Nellie Suddarth, Kathy Russell, Edith Foster, Ann Walker, Joyce Thornton and Judy Fish; 3 brothers Henry, Claude and Herbert Mickels.
She is survived by her sons Rick Luke (Jody), Tom Luke (Stacey) and Danny Luke (Christy); grandsons Alex, Adam, Andy, and Parker; granddaughters Autumn, Ashley, Alyssa, Abby, Madeline, Amanda, and Emma as well as numerous great grand children and a great great grand child; brother Jody Mickels and sister Lois Hilger.

Lindsey was born in Muskogee, OK on September 13, 1999 to Liza Sims & Jerry Workman. She graduated from Warner High School in 2018. She got engaged to her fiancé on September 13, 2022. They were then blessed with their cat Misty in November, 2022.
Lindsey was a devoted fiancé, daughter, sister, aunt & best friend. She adored her nieces Olivia & Elizabeth Hart. She loved everyone with all she could. She was outgoing yet loved to be at home, spending time with her fiancé & playing video games. She enjoyed being outside in the summer time. Swimming, floating and camping were activities she enjoyed since she was little. She loved crystals, plants, cats and anything out of the ordinary. She was a spiritual woman who had faith and trust in the lord. She was a unique soul that nobody could compare to. She will be terribly missed by family, friends and all who knew her.

Rachel Austin - December 10, 1932 - May 01, 2024

Obituary Preview: Rachel Marie Austin was born December 10, 1932 in Claremore, Oklahoma, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Sanders and Lucille (Lyman) Sanders. She grew up with five bothers: Shelby (Scud) Sanders, Herman (Nosky) Thornton-Sanders, Sequoyah (Yumsky) Sanders, Louis (Tick) Sanders and Thomas (Tater) Sanders, and four sisters: Viola (Sis) Sanders-Conrad, Margaret (Dood) Redmon, Ruby (Deeky) Jordan and Delilah (Yah-Tee) Kelley. She attended grade school at Wyandotte Indian School and later graduated from Gore High School.
After high school she moved to Tulsa and worked in Borden’s Cafeteria, then relocated to Oklahoma City to work at Luby’s to become a cake baker. Saved up her money and bought her first piece of real estate (an apartment house) in Oklahoma City. She left Luby’s and moved to Bunte Candy company and become the favorite candy lady to all the kids of the family which did include Tater and Troy.
Rachel was an avid church-goer and attended Christ Gospel Church in Midwest City, OK, where she met her husband, Jerry Austin. Rachel and Jerry loved travelling and spent many days driving to various scenic places where they sometimes camped or stayed in a hotel. They were married until his death in December, 1999. She continued to live in their home in Moore until she became ill with Botulism poisoning, which almost killed her. She made medical records and was the subject of a New England Journal of Medicine article as the oldest person ever to survive Botulism poisoning.
After her illness she moved to an assisted living facility in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, then to Muskogee, and finally to Fort Gibson Nursing Home.
She is survived by her sister, Delilah Kelley and her husband, Sherman and many nieces and nephews and an array hundreds of other relatives. Rachel will be missed by all.

Timothy loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and camping. He loved spending time with his wife Erica and his many friends and family.
He also loved doing his job as a lawn crew supervisor. Timothy loved working cars and helping people in need. He enjoyed working with the guys on the lawn crew and showing them new things everyday.
He was preceded in death by father Richard Allen Metcalf, his sister Stephanie McGill and his grandparents Pete and Betty Ellis.
Surviving are his wife Erica Metcalf of Muskogee, OK; his mother Debora Kemp of Eufaula, OK; one brother Richard Metcalf of Muskogee; his stepmother Robin Metcalf of Idaho; stepbrother Charles Standley of California; a step sister Constance Standley of California; and many aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Vaught Cemetery in Webbers Falls.

Justin attended schools in Wolf, OK, Billings, MO, Irving Elementary in Muskogee, OK & A.R. in Muskogee. He graduated from Warner H.S. in 1975. He also attended ICTC specializing in automotive A.C. He operated numerous service stations. He worked for Tommy Sellers Body Shop in Muskogee. He was in business as a custom hay baler & rancher. He recently retired from Muskogee County District 2.
Hobbies: Justin loved his cattle & his new Hereford bulls. He was an outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting and hay baling. He loved to travel & see the world. One of his favorite things was to take his nieces & friends to concerts.
Leaving behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife Patsy, brother, Richard W. Glover Jr. & wife Karen of Warner, sisters, Susan Brison & husband Terry of Checotah, Tama Davis & husband Glenn of Warner. Sister-in-law Lorestia Buford & husband Phil of Hulbert, brother-in-law, David Lawson & wife Beth of Newcastle, OK. She was preceded in death by her father Eddie, her mother Lola, her brother Bernie, and her sister Donna. Judy did many things in life and retired as an RN after 20 plus years in the nursing field. She was actively involved in church and played the piano for many years in multiple churches. She volunteered in many civic organizations such as the VFW, DAV, and local civic groups. Judy will be missed by many and those who knew her best, knew it was her love of family that kept her going.

David Sherman Dickerson - November 13, 1946 - April 19, 2024

David was born in Muskogee where he attended school and played multiple sports. His friends recall his skills on the pitcher’s mound and his great basketball shot. After high school he entered the Army, serving in Germany in 1965. After the service he attended Northeastern State University where he earned a degree in History. He went to work for the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk, working first in Muskogee and then in Tulsa where he resided for 30 years and retired from the Post Office after 40 years. He moved back to Muskogee in 2008. He loved to spend time with family and friends. He loved watching college and high school softball and basketball. His favorite thing was watching his nephews play the sports he loved as a kid. He was known for his ability to talk and make friends everywhere he went. He loved the Lord, his church and was a proud US Army Veteran.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Porter & Jewell Dickerson and one brother, Richard “Dickie” Dickerson. He is survived by his brother Mike Dickerson and sister Cathy Hamilton of Muskogee; niece Carie Singleton & her husband Patrick of Muskogee; niece Casie Hamilton & her husband Nick of Owasso, OK; and great nieces & nephews Brylie Mead & Eli Singleton of Muskogee and Landrie & Garrett Hamilton of Owasso, OK.
David’s favorite Bible verse was John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life”. He wanted everyone to know that verse and experience the peace and promise of eternal life that he had.
Services for David will be Friday, April 26th at 8:30am at Immanuel Baptist Church in Muskogee followed by graveside service at the National Cemetery in Ft Gibson, OK at 10am.

Obituary Preview: Della Pauline Lindley was born in Drumright, Oklahoma on October 12,1931 to John Henry White and Gertie Minnie Maine Cook, and died Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Eastgate Village Retirement Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Pauline grew up in Drumright, Oklahoma with her three sisters Joyce, Twila and Viola. Pauline married John Walter Lindley Sr in Drumright, Oklahoma on April 4, 1949. They had two sons and three daughters.
Mom and Dad met over several slices of pecan pie and fell in love. A pecan pie was always included in all of our family holiday dinners along with dinner conversation of how Mom and Dad met.
Pauline was an artist; a great cook and loved making treats too. She loved her children, grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Pauline was loved by all who met her. She had a kind generous spirit and was a loving soul.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband John Walter Lindley Sr, parents John Henry White and Gertie Minnie Maine Cook, son David Woodrow Lindley, two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include son John Walter Lindley Jr and wife Barbara; three daughters, Paula Imhoff and husband Steven, Loretta Bowers and husband Kirk, Deborah Dolph and husband Dorian; and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mom was also deeply religious and wrote this entry in her journal: Thank you Lord for a life time of blessings.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday, April 19, 2024 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home in Muskogee. Interment will follow at Flynn Cemetery in Cushing under the care and direction of Lescher- Millsap Funeral Home.

John Hughart - September 11, 1956 - April 09, 2024

Obituary Preview: John I. Hughart was born September 11, 1956 in Muskogee, OK the son of Silas and Shirleen Hughart. He passed from this life on April 9, 2024 in Muskogee. He was 67 years old.
John grew up in Webbers Falls and graduated from Webbers Falls High School. He was married to Pamela Burris on January 9, 1981 in Wagoner. He worked for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority for 15 years before opening Homestead Feed Store out of his home. He operated the feed store for several years and loved selling feed to the local FFA kids and their families. After he retired he joined his wife in California.
John loved hunting, fishing, following his grandchildren’s sports and activities and showing pigs with his daughter. He enjoyed watching his grandson play football, weightlifting and talking to him about school. Also watching his granddaughter playing soccer, playing her electric guitar and looking at the paintings she had done.
Some of his best memories were taking road trips across the country looking for show pigs and seeing the landmarks along the west coast. He and Pamela enjoyed visiting Tahoe and riding the Skunk Train in Fort Bragg.
John served as the president of the Webbers Falls School Board and was Swine Superintendent for Muskogee County.

Kat lived her young life in Muskogee, Pauls Valley and Sand Springs. At the age of 18 she was moved to Muskogee to Tower Hill Nursing Home for several years where she helped Gene Brock (her brother-in-law) run the place. Then moved to a group home with her childhood best friend where she resided until her passing.
Kat worked at Incore Recycling Materials, where she eventually retired from. However, we are sure she spent most of her time socializing.
Kat lived a very full and happy life. She loved competing and won many medals and ribbons in Special Olympics. She competed in the wheel chair race, softball throw and basketball. She also loved a good game of dirty Santa and was not afraid to steal your gift. Kat loved all things Disney, traveling, shopping, gifts, holidays and her food. She loved a good prank and if you fell or were hurt in front of her you got zero sympathy because she was most definitely laughing at you. She loved her family and all the times they had together most. Her life was full of happiness and adventure. Kat was pure joy to everyone around her and always faced life with a smile. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

LaJuana loved her family and friends more than anything, except maybe bowling. You could find her bowling at Muskogee Bowling Center or Fast Lanes in Checotah most days of the week. She loved bowling in leagues and tournaments with her friends and her husband Jerry Jenkins Sr. She and Jerry married on October 11, 2003, and built their life together in Porter, OK.
LaJuana was proceeded in death by her parents Leo Morrison, Patricia and Bob Cason, brothers Marvin and Eldon “Buddy” Morrison, sister Sharlita Morrison, and brother and sister-in-law Bobby and Jackie Jenkins.
She is survived by husband Jerry Jenkins Sr. of Porter, OK. Daughters, Sherri Day of Midland, TX, Christi Wagnon and husband Jesse of Muskogee, OK, Melissa Short of Muskogee, OK, Tammy Jenkins of Tulsa, OK and bonus daughter Bridgette Morrison of Muskogee. Sons, Jason Adelman of St. Louis, MO, Jerry Jenkins Jr and wife Vanessa of Porter, OK, Timmy Jenkins and wife Laura of Depew, OK and Tommy Jenkins of Locust Grove, OK. LaJuana had 24 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren whom she loved very much. She also leaves behind her sister Lynette Haynes and husband Bill of Okay, OK and Vernon Morrison and wife Ann of Okay, OK. Sister-in-laws Julia Morrison of Tulsa, OK, Catherine Reust of Haskell, OK and Ann Franklin of Porter, OK. Numerous nieces and nephews including special niece Sabrina Walker.
