Margaret was born on January 21, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late William and Patricia Evans. She was a loving wife, mom, grandma and sister. After retirement, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Danny Leftwitch; two children, Patricia Mitchell; Buddy Farmer; a step-daughter, Misty Dawn Leftwitch; two siblings, Gayle Morrison and Richard Evans.

Jill was born on May 22, 1962 in Jeffersonville, IN. She was a graduate of New Washington High School and went on to serve as a florist at both Ray Herdt Florist of Jeffersonville and Ivy Vine Florist of Madison, IN. Jill was known by many as a free spirit or nature child. She also had a nurturing spirit and was passionate about caring for animals.
Jill is preceded in death by her mother, Anna Lee Ross; and her beloved dog and faithful companion, Zane.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Warren Whitlatch (Amelia McDonald); father, Dillis Ross; grandson, Ross Whitlatch; brother, Jeff Ross; nieces, Ashley Ross and Abby Flaget; nephew, Andrew Ross; special uncle, Don Ross; and a host of extended family members and friends.

She passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
Lucy was born on October 14, 1947 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Lora Evans Tapp and Lloyt Elizabeth (Markert) Tapp. Lucy retired from South Central Bell after 30 years and 4 days, but she didn’t stop working! She went on to be a caretaker for many family and friends that needed her help for the next 19 years until cancer jumped up and bit her. Cancer may have won the battle, but Lucy won the war and received her wings.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Steve Schiller; a son, Sam Schiller (Nicole Berzins); the light of her eyes, a granddaughter, Hazel; a brother, Larry Tapp (Hilda); and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a sister-in-law and a brother-in-law.

Michael was born on September 26, 1953 in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Donald L. and Mary L. Deason. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Air Force. Michael worked as a computer analyst until retirement. He was an avid baseball and football fan. He enjoyed working in the garden and was extremely talented with the use of his hands. He was a good wood worker and enjoyed remodeling projects at his home.
He is survived by four children, Justin Sowder (Stephen); Julie Morrow; Christopher Deason; Danielle Lawrence (Mike); three siblings, Carla Dover (Bob); Mark Deason (Bonnie); Scott Deason (Roxanne Mathieu); and three grandchildren, Jack Deason, Dustin Deason, and Micah Lawrence.

Walter was born on July 1, 1938 to the late Charles Hanley and Goldie Eva Cartwright. Walter was raised in Oldtown, MD, and following his schooling, he served his country honorably in the US Army. Throughout his life, Walter had an unsurpassed work ethic, holding a job for Marriott Sodexo for 30 years. In his free time, he could be found on the golf course or cheering on the Detroit Tigers or Jeff Gordon. Most importantly, Walter loved his family, and always looked forward to time spent together.
Along with his parents, Walter is preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Harley Cartwright and James Robert Cartwright.
Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Gerda Cartwright; children, Debra Reny (Randal), Walter Cartwright, Jr., and Laurie Gover (Gary); grandchildren, Matthew Tompkins (Niki), Thomas Gover (Amber), Travis Gover, Daniel Gover (Erica), Michael Tompkins (Torri), and Cody Gover; and great-grandchildren, Charles Tompkins, Bradley Gover, Peyton Tompkins, Vincent Tompkins, and Francesca Tompkins.

In his free time, Bill also enjoyed riding motorcycles, woodworking, and spending time with his beloved pets.

Warren is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Ruthann, his parents Mick and Carmen, brothers Keith and Gene “Mickey”.

Elsie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Msgt. Ret. George R. Trembly; Joseph and Rae Boyle; and brothers, Edwin and Donald Boyle.
She is survived by her children Lonnie Trembly, Jeffrey Trembly, Carol Simpson, and Jodie Crick; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Nannette was born on July 24, 1958 in San Diego, CA. Following graduation from Oral Roberts University, she moved to Jeffersonville, IN, where she joined Christ Gospel Church. Since then, Nannette had been a devoted and faithful member, and she took great joy in catering to the young people of the church. Nan always had a nurturing and kind spirit, and was known by many as a second mom. From keeping her pantry well stocked with the young people’s favorite snacks to proofing their college papers; Nannette was always available to help those around her. She has received numerous awards for her outstanding performance as a librarian for the Louisville Free Public Library. She went above and beyond both at church and in her career.
Nannette is preceded in death by her father, Dr. James Ellis Thomas.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Paul Curnutt; children, Jocelyn Martin (Creston) and Alexander Curnutt (Keren); mother, Jane Thomas; grandchildren, Naomi Martin, Lily Martin, and little Harper Curnutt, who is on the way; brother, Peter Thomas (Cheryl), and a host of extended family members and friends.

Ronald Alvin Collins, 75 of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019 while resting at home. Ronald was born in Jeffersonville, IN on June 5, 1944 to the late Fred and Orleeta Collins. He was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School. He grew up in Wesley United Methodist Church and became a member at an early age and up until his death. He was a devoted and active member.
He served his country in the Army Reserve. Afterwards he began working at General Electric and left to join the Jeffersonville Fire Department where he served the city of Jeffersonville for over 25 years and also became the first african american fire chief. During his time on the Fire Department he also worked as a school bus driver. After retirement he continued to work at Community Action of Southern Indiana, Ceasar’s Casino, Dillard’s and Jeffersonville High School as a Cafeteria Manager up until the time he became ill.
He loved visiting Walt Disney World and had just recently visited two weeks ago.
Ronald is survived by his wife, JoAnn Collins; children, Michael Collins (Terri), Eric Collins (Melissa) Danielle Collins; Jennifer "Jenny" Loehr (Tyler), Jacob Chapman (Ashley), and John Chapman; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be at 12 PM on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 1201 Thomas V. Bryant Dr. Jeffersonville, IN with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation for Ronnie will be at Wesley United Methodist both on Tuesday, October 1, from 4 PM - 8 PM and on Wednesday, from 10 AM - 12 PM.

Dianna was born on April 18, 1943 in Corydon, Indiana, to the late Jake Allen and Lilly White. She had a love for crafts, especially ceramics and sewing. Dianna was a faithful member of Carr Township Baptist Church and she will be deeply missed by her loving family.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Allen; and a granddaughter, Amanda Himebaugh.
Dianna is survived by her loving children, Thomas Himebaugh; Michael Himebaugh (Rhonda) “Shanaynay”; Melissa Grether (Allen); Tina Leach (Dano); Suzie Pickerill (Michael Deutsch); seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Jerris was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacy Horton, father, Melvin Bryant, Sr. and brothers, Melvin Bryant, Jr. and Marty Bryant.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Smith; father, Clarence Cherry; and the father of her children, James E. Tincher, Sr.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, James E. Tincher, Jr., Brian D. Tincher (Niki), and Christopher G. Tincher (Rhonda); mother, Bertha Cherry; and siblings, Clifton Douglas (Sherry); Ricky Cherry (Dana); Debbie Voyles, and Joyce Dwyer (Paul).

Beverly entered this world on May 24, 1951, in Shelbyville, IN. Her parents were the late Gloria Jean (Landrum/Murphy) Dempsey and the late Richard Edgar Bell. Beverly was educated at Shelbyville's St. Joseph Parochial School and graduated from Shelbyville High School. She later attended Ivy Tech Community School and Indiana University Southeast.
Her education, accumulated experience, talents and personal presence allowed Beverly to enjoy a rich business career. She was employed with Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation for 24 years. Her position there provided for enjoying her love of travel as she visited much of America. Though Beverly retired from B&W, she later returned to the workforce and learned new skills at Kindred Healthcare, Passport Healthcare, Hosparus, American Printing House for the Blind. Her desire to serve her community even resulted in her acting as a substitute teacher in the Clark County school system (a short-lived endeavor).
Beverly was a sincere, passionate, calm, deliberate and determined person. Blessed with natural beauty, her inner-essence was just as obviously beautiful. She had a deep curiosity about life and was always in pursuit of discovery. She wanted to always grow. Also, she loved to travel. In addition to her business travels, she and her son, Anthony, visited Europe and Mexico. She and her husband, Larry, (41 years together), were particularly fond of cruising the Caribbean Sea and visiting its many beautiful islands. Their last trip was to Cuba in 2018. Beverly was very well­ read and particularly enjoyed studying the Bible and attending Bible studies, until her illness prevented such.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents: Gloria Jean (Landrum/Murphy) Dempsey and Richard Edgar Bell; her step-fathers, Richard Lee Murphy and Robert (Bobby); and. her sister. Deborah Marquita Weems.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Larry, and her sons; Anthony C. Goins (Leah) and Sean D. Scott; her mother-in-law, Louella Goins; aunts, Joanne Bradley, Melba Bradley, Pearle Bradley; a brother, Robert Dempsey; 9 grandchildren (including her travel companion, nine-year old Jacob); sisters-in-laws including JoEila Goins, Doris McDougai,Kim Goins, Sovanna Goins, Lorna Goins, Desiree Goins; brothers-in-law including Ernest Weems, William (Billy Ray). Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Calautti.
