Vicki attended the First Christian Church in Murfreesboro. She loved her grandchildren, cooking and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Terri Martin.
Survivors include her husband, Rick Cook; son Jonathan Turner and wife Kara; daughter Stephanie Lockhart and husband William; two stepsons Timothy Cook and Richard Cook, Jr.; brothers Dennis Kuykendall and wife Vannessa and Randy Kuykendall and wife Michelle; sister Beverly Posey and husband Randy; six grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.

Obituary Preview: Grady “Rocky” Leon Stone Jr. , age 66, of Delight, Arkansas died on Sunday, March 20, 2022 in Nashville, Arkansas.  He was born May 25, 1955 in South Texas the son of Melba Jean Hill Stone and the late Grady Stone Sr.
Grady loved being outdoors and working with his hands. He learned carpentry from his father at a very young age.  He was a hard working Contractor and Master Electrician and Plumber. In retirement he found his passion for woodworking.  Mr. Stone was a member of the First Baptist Church in Delight.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his son Derick Clark Stone, and one brother Victor Stone.
Survivors include two sons Shawn Stone and wife Pearl of Hot Springs, AR, Shea Stone and wife Constance of Arkadelphia, AR; one daughter Neeley Vance and husband Ben of Warren, AR; three sisters Jeanene DiMarzio of Hot Springs Village AR, Scarlett Henderson of Hot Springs, AR,  and Nona Woodall of Delight, AR; eight grandchildren Will, Luke, Logan, McKenzie, Declan, Parker, Cale, and Alley; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 25, at Delight Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband O.C. Cox, two sisters Melba Allen, Billie Angle, and one brother Charles Gatling.
Survivors include three sons Larry Joe Cox and wife Kay of Murfreesboro, Garry Wayne Cox and wife Bonnie of Murfreesboro, and Johnny Ray Cox of Ashdown;  one brother Muriel Gatling of New Mexico; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Obituary Preview: Carleton “Buddy” Edgar Denny, Jr., age 84 of Delight, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at his home. He was born on September 25, 1937 in Delight to the late Carleton Edgar Denny, Sr. and Vahnita McKinney Denny.
Mr. Denny was a member of the Delight United Methodist Church. He was retired from the United States Navy after 26 years of service. He also retired from the public school system as a teacher. Buddy enjoyed woodworking, the outdoors and riding his four-wheeler through the woods. He was also a marathon runner. Buddy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, helping others and being active in his hometown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Denny and a son-in-law Jimmy Rather.
Those who survive his passing include his wife Shirley Huffman Denny; two daughters Vickey Rather and Brenda Eatmon and husband Ace; two sisters Kathryn Broussard and husband Rogers and Doris Denny; one sister-in-law Barbara Denny; six grandchildren Kristian Sorensen, Tamara Carpenter, Peter Oakley, Jesse Eatmon, Maria Eatmon and Kent Eatmon; fourteen great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the Delight United Methodist Church, with Rev. Jim Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Delight Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Murfreesboro.

Carolyn proceeded to work in multiple fields throughout her life including managing a Holiday Inn in McAlester, Oklahoma; working for Dr. Frank Daniel in DeQueen, and eventually running her own business. She married Earnest Manry in the summer of 1984.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband: Earnest Manry; her parents: Ruby Mae and Tannie Folsom; Father: Earnest Lee Blakely; Brothers Larry O’Neal and Roland O’Neal.
She is survived by her son: Michael Robert Cortez; two brothers: Jim Blakely and wife Barbara, Robert O’Neal and wife Wanda; one sister Laurah Orr; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Obituary Preview: Bervin Laurent, a loving husband, faithful son, peacemaker, gentle soul and friend to all passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021.  Bervin was born on June 24, 1932, in Centerpoint, Arkansas to Obie Laurent and Nola Gregory Laurent. He served in the Air Force, and retired from Lockheed Martin and spent the last 30 years in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. He loved bowling, roller derby, golf, softball, hunting, baking his famous coconut cakes, spending time playing dominoes and canasta with family and friends.
Bervin is survived and remembered by two brothers, Herman and Arnold. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia, 4 brothers; Eugene, Harold, Howard and a baby boy; and a sister; Laverne Davis. Cliff Melton Womack - April 19, 1939 - September 12, 2021

Obituary Preview: Cliff Melton Womack, age 82, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas died on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Howard Memorial Hospital in Nashville.  He was born April 19, 1939 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas the son of the late Herman and Inez Willett Womack.
Mr. Womack was a member of the Pleasant Home Church of Christ.  He was drafted in the United States Army in 1962 and drove a bus and was honorably discharged after six years, then reenlisted with the Air Force Reserves  and was the Chief Loadmaster for the C-130 cargo planes from 1980 and retired as Master Sargent in 1999.  During his career Cliff served as an EMT for Howard Memorial Hospital.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson, Daniel Stone.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years Janice Self Womack; two daughters Selina Russell and Starla Womack; one grandson Dusty Stone, one granddaughter Courtney Rather; two great grandchildren Layne and Addie Cox all of Murfreesboro; one sister Sonia Gonzales of Irving, TX; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Mr. Hinds retired from the United States Army Reserves 95th Div., (IT) after twenty-seven years of service as a Sgt. 1st Class.  He enjoyed hunting and was a lover of everything outdoors. He looked forward to his retirement and bought himself a Harley.  He attended the Old Austin United Methodist Church.  Kelly believed in telling how much he loved you and if you knew him you knew how hard he loved.
He is preceded in death by his father George Paul Hinds and one sister Paula Hinds.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-seven years Tina Hinds of Austin, AR; one son Blake Hinds and fiancé Alexis of Murfreesboro, AR; one daughter Katelin White and husband Kent of Russellville, AR; Pops as he was affectionally known by is also survived by his two grandchildren Worthy White and Fisher Hinds; his mother Tommye Hinds of Murfreesboro, AR; as well as three brothers John, Ted, and Brian Hinds.

Survivors include two daughters Sandra VanCamp and husband Lonny of Antoine, AR; Rebecca Stokes and husband Ryan of Donaldson, AR; one daughter in law Debbie Morris of Delight, AR; seven grandchildren Adam (Melissa) Morris, Eli (Lena) VanCamp, Greg Morris, Levi VanCamp, Jeffery (Katie) Morris, Ricky (Laci) Stokes, and Railyn Stokes; six great grandchildren Harper Morris, Anniston and Cole Morris, Avery and Cooper Stokes, and Thomas Morris, and many other immediate family members.

He especially loved spending time with his grandson, Ian. He was a former baseball umpire and had the privilege to call the Little League World Series with his brother, Bill. He also assisted his dad, Freeman Henderson, with stats from the pressbox at Rattler Stadium for Murfreesboro Rattler Football.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his daughter Kayla Thompson and husband Aaron, one grandson Ian Luke Thompson; two brothers Bill Henderson and wife Dian, Jim Henderson and wife Susan; his sister Christy Coccarelli; six nieces and nephews including Todd Henderson and wife Mariel, Amy Lott and husband David, Jade Wolfe, Matt Taylor, Zach Taylor, and Cory Coccarelli; four great nieces and nephews including Adam Lott, Valorie Lott, Evan Henderson and Aiden Henderson; his faithful cat Bubba; as well as a host of other family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Joseph (Joey) Moody Jr. , his wife Lucy (Aly) and their 5 month old daughter, Marley.  All of Dallas, TX., Sister, Lisa Moody-Sanders of Arlington, TX; Niece, Courtney Sanders Cline and her husband, Ray Cline, of Carrollton, TX;  Nephew, Matt Sanders and his wife, Kelli Kader, of Dallas, TX. A step-sister, Suzanna (Johnson) Williams and her husband, Jim, of Springdale, AR. Maternal aunt, Elizabeth J. (Grizzard) Griffin of Alexandria, LA., first cousin, Skip Moody and his wife, Karen, of Houston, TX., along with a small number of other cousins throughout AR, TX, LA and CA.
Mr. Moody was a proud graduate of the Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, GA, and served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS John F. Kennedy.
In his later years, Mr. Moody had become physically disabled.  Yet, he still managed to retain his quick wit and mischievous sense of humor.  He remained a lifelong fan of his Arkansas Razorbacks and The Dallas Cowboys – and continued to share these passions with his son, Joey.
A private graveside service is being held for the family at Murfreesboro Cemetery.

Patsy is survived by three daughters, Sharon Copeland and husband Wayne of Nashville AR, Patty Smith and husband James of Hope, AR, and Kathy Powell of Murfreesboro, AR, son Mike Williamson and wife Benita of Murfreesboro, AR, stepson Mike Deal and wife Heather of Murfreesboro, AR, a sister Judy Magness of Hot Springs, AR and brother Johnny Hale and wife Anita of Delight, AR. 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Patsy and Dub spent many years as owner and operators of D&P Antiques, they loved to travel and spending time with family and friends. Patsy truly loved her hometown of Murfreesboro and was involved in many civic activities. Patsy was on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors 6yrs, President of Murfreesboro Chamber of Commerce, City Council Alderman 10yrs, Vice President Pike County Fair Association 3yrs, Special Events Chairman for Pike Co. Unit of American Cancer Society, Pike Co. Ambulance Board, Pike Co. Coroner, Local Arkansas Literacy Council Tutor Program Director, President of Diamond City Art Club 10yrs, Art Instructor 14yrs, Owner of Mother Goose Play School and started the “Headstart” program with C.A.D.C. in Murfreesboro.
Special recognitions included Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year 1988, Citizen of the Decade 1989, and Ms. Diamond City 1991.
Patsy was a dedicated and loving mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and loved every moment she spent with them. She also enjoyed the time spent with her many close friends over the years. She always saw the good in all those she met. Her life was a living example of Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ”.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.

She opened her heart and home to her deceased cousin’s 3 children, Vicki Lee Fields Brannen, Steve Fields and Ella Fields for three years.
Survivors include two daughters Dianna Drake and husband Clarence of Virginia City, NV; Lou Anne Laurent of Nashville, AR; seven grandchildren Jack Brian Drake, Amber Dawn Gratz, Crystal Ann Pickett, Adrianna Mae Laurent, Brittany Anne Laurent, Sky Cassady, and Shaun Marquez; one sister in law Margaret Allen of Thatcher, AZ; five great grandchildren and a number friends and other relatives.

William was a Veteran of both the Navy and Army, serving in Vietnam in 1965 on the USS Pyro as electrician. He also served on the USS Shasta and the USS Tappahannock in 1966-67. In 1974, he enlisted in the US Army as a combat engineer at Fort Lenardwood, MO. He achieved the rank of specialist 5, skilled in explosives. In Connecticut he worked for PeterTillou, Fine Arts, and Mrs. Virginia Risley. Upon retiring to Murfreesboro in 2005, he owned and operated Diamond Gun for 10 years.
