Barbara was born March 8, 1932 in Cherokee, Oklahoma. She was the second of three daughters born to Howard and Lydia Davis. Growing up on a small northern Oklahoma family farm during the 1930's Barbara learned the traits of hard work and thrift that stayed with her for the rest of her life. Barbara and her sisters all became wonderful cooks by watching and helping their mother prepare large meals for family and harvest crews. Sam Houston in Texas. It was here that Barbara gave birth to a son, Larry. Upon being discharged from the army, Barbara and David moved to Alva, Oklahoma and Barbara took care of her home and family while David attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Can I write an obituary for someone who has been deceased for many years?

Many online obituary platforms archive their content permanently. If you're concerned about longevity, look for platforms that guarantee permanent archiving or consider printing out a hard copy for safekeeping.

What if I want to write multiple versions of an obituary?

You can write different versions of an obituary tailored to specific audiences or purposes. For example, you might write one version for publication in a local newspaper and another for sharing on social media.
