A visitation will be held in his honor on Friday, June 28, 2024 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville from 9:00 AM until funeral time.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 PM at the church.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Charlene Daigle; mother, Grace Daigle; son, Job Daigle (Sarah); daughters, Abby Daigle; Hannah Richard (Austin); grandsons, Bryce Daigle, Austin Blake, Micah Richard; granddaughters, Ella Daigle, Alice Richard, Adele Daigle; sisters, Darlene “Tootie” Fangue (Nathan), Leigh Prejean (Rudy), Kim Chiasson (Bob); and lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Daigle, and grandparents, Dewey Daigle, Evelyn Daigle, Cynthia Leblanc, and Antoine Leblanc.
Neil was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather. He was affectionately called by his children and grandchildren “Papa” and his friends “Fluff.” Neil loved traveling, spending time on Lake Verret, watching tennis, and spending time with his grandchildren.
“Papa” was a man who never met a stranger! He also enjoyed learning about history whether it was his genealogy or the history of his hometown. He is loved by many and will be missed by all.
