Jacqueline grew up in the West End community where she was loved by many. friends. Most people knew her as Tish Mack, or Big Tish. She attended Taft High School. In 1994
Jacqueline married Rodney L. Gooch. Jacqueline later remarried Marcque Cunningham. She worked in the healthcare field as a CNA, before sustaining a back injury in 1998. Jacqueline loved going to bingo and playing cards. She frequently hosted card parties, and attended card parties hosted by
friends, or relatives. Jacqueline enjoyed quality time with friends and family where she grew up. Specifically, “Dukes Place” was one of her favorite places to hang out in the West End she was, always the life of the party. She enjoyed attending parties such as Lincoln Courts and Laurel Homes Annual Reunion with her sisters. She frequently attended Macy’s Music Festival in Cincinnati also, known as Jazz Festival. When Jacqueline was not partying with her close friends “The Ice cream Bunch” she would be talking on the phone with her good friend Cora Stone who she would talk to for
hours. Jacqueline is survived by her husband Marque Cunningham, her three children, Kenneth Baldwin, Laron Mack, and Jalisa Harris, seven grandchildren, Kaniyah, Lariyah, Benjamin, Jamauri, Antonio Jr., Dior, and Zaire, two sisters, Robin Carol Mack-Mills and Rosaland Mack-Campbell, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. His life would seem too short to many but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
His loving kindness, gentle soul and sense of humor brought so much joy to his family and friends.
Brian is survived by his parents; Tim and Melissa (Duke) Vogel, brothers; Jonathan Vogel and Keeth McKinney, one loving sister; Cassie Vogel, grandmother; Sandra Landis, grandfathers; Thomas Vogel and George McKinney and a host of numerous loving cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; George McKinney, II., grandfather; Ted Landis, grandmothers; Kathleen Vogel and Lavonna Weinel and aunt; Karen Smith.

Brenda Y. Denton-Smith - January 02, 1953 - April 08, 2024

Obituary Preview: Brenda Yvonne Denton-Smith was born on January 2, 1953, to her parents Henry and Louise Brantley in Birmingham Alabama. Brenda was one of 11 children. The family moved from Birmingham to Cincinnati in the late 1950’s; to the Madisonville community. Brenda was a clever child often avoiding discipline by hiding or telling her mother she could not walk, this always ended with laughter. Brenda attended Madisonville Elementary, Lyons Jr. High, and Courter Technical High School; where she excelled in her studies and graduated ahead of her class. After high school, Brenda attended nursing school where she obtained her Nursing license. Brenda owned and operated New Era Personnel Care service, she loved her clients
and her team. Brenda studied the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses, Brenda made her declaration to Jehovah public on July 8th, 1989. Brenda served Jehovah to the best of her ability, even when her health was failing, Brenda made sure to use her strength to do early morning witnessing with her friends. She loved The Madisonville Congratulations. Since her passing several of the friends have given experiences of visiting Brenda with the intent to encourage her, and leaving encouraged themselves. Brenda loved Jehovah and looked forward to being a resident in his new kingdom; where there would be no more sickness and dying. Brenda talked vividly with her sisters about what they would be eating in the new world, and how they would laugh
together. Brenda married Larry Smith and three children were gained from this union. Brenda was a hard worker, she worked diligently to care for her family. She was always willing to help her adult children in any way. Brenda cared for Larry until his passing. Brenda was exceptionally fond of her grandchildren, her oldest grandchild Kayle was her daily companion, whenever she needed anything, no matter the time of day Kayle was the person she would call. Kayle would drop
whatever he was doing and go take care of his Nana. Preceding her in death was her husband Larry L. Smith Sr. Parents Henrey Donnell And Louise
Brantley. Grandparents: Percy and Mattie Brantley, Lester Yarbrough, and Birtha Smith. Siblings: Curtis R. Denton, Reginald C. Denton, Michael A. Denton, Linda K. Franklin, Tashika

Obituary Preview: Edward Louis Woods Jr., affectionately known as Ed, E, or Junior Flip to his father, Ed was Born on April 17th, 1970, in Canton, Ohio, he was the beloved son of Edward Louis Woods Sr. and Sarah Louise Woods.
Ed's journey through life was marked by his diverse talents and infectious humor. He attended Winton Place Elementary, Cape Academy, and Aiken High School, where he cultivated his skills and made lifelong connections. Ed was a man of many trades, known for his passion for automobiles and craftsmanship led him to excel in his work.
A loving and cherished presence in the lives of many, Ed brightened every room he entered with his quick wit and humor. He was known for saying "Let Me Learn You Something" it became his famous catchphrase.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, cherished by his children April Woods, Sarah Woods, Edward Woods III, Tyrik Woods, and Darius Woods, as well as his grandchildren Marlo Smith, Zyla Woods, Edward Chauncey Lee Louis Woods, Elauna Woods, Darius Woods Jr., and My'Rhon Eaton. His sisters Marietha Woods (Massillon, Ohio), Melanie Woods, Melissa Coston, brother William Coston, brother/cousin Erick Snell Williams (Canton, Ohio), and brothers-in-love and honor: Montez Bryant, Omar Muhammad, Jessie “JD” Daugherty, Stanley “Stan” Daugherty, Kenny “Hutch” Hutchinson, William “Chill” Reynolds, and Tony Shaw. Additionally, he leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends, all of whom will continue to cherish his memory and the joy he brought into their lives.

Obituary Preview: Tracy Maria Hopson was born into this world to the late Henry and Vertis Hopson on July 5, 1964, in Cincinnati Ohio. Yahweh called her home on March 2, 2024.
Tracy attended and joined Bethlehem Baptist Church and accepted Yahshua as her savior at an early age in life.
She graduated from Withrow High School in June of 1982. After high school, she was employed as a Medical Assistant at the Lincoln Heights Health Center for a while. After leaving there, she held various other jobs.
Tracy was full of life, she was loving and tender-hearted, but she could be a bruiser too! She was funny and could always make us laugh. She was a big scary cat too; she was afraid of any bugs that crawled on the ground especially spiders and ants. She loved her West Highland White Terrier dog named Chancellor (Chance), who became part of the family. He preceded her in death around the year 2000.
Tracy was a private person, but she never met a stranger. She would meet someone for the first time and would talk to them as if she had known them for years. One thing for sure, Tracy loved to talk. She also loved watching scary movies, hanging out with her cousins and being around her family, especially during the holidays. She fondly called her family members by nicknames that she gave them. Just to name a few, she called her daughter Tarah "Butters", her niece Kristin "Ladybug", her nephew Stephen "Weebis", her niece Mallory "Auntie's Tank", her late cousin Larry "Wop" and her sister Margaret she called "Sister.
Tracy was a loving mother, a sister, an aunt and a grandmother. She was so proud of her daughter and grandson, whom she talked about all the time.

James L. Eberhardt - December 20, 1944 - March 01, 2024

Obituary Preview: The honorable, James Lee Eberhardt, Jr. went home to be with our Lord,
on Friday March 1, 2024. He was born at Catherine Booth Hospital [Cincinnati, OH], on Wednesday December 20, 1944, to parents James Lee Eberhardt, Sr. and Ruby Eberhardt. James was a kind, gentle man, who enjoyed cooking, sports, and listening to Blues & Jazz music. In August of 1963, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, and served during the Vietnam
War. He received an honorable discharge in August of 1967.
He also worked for the Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan Sewer Department (MSD) for 30 years. During that time, James met Linda Gayle Gordon. He embraced her daughter Catherine “Kitty”, as his own. James and Linda married on August 30, 1975. They later had a daughter, Lynette, in 1977. James loved and doted on his two daughters, and later, four grandsons. He was even blessed with the chance to meet two great-granddaughters. Affectionately known as “Jimmy” and “Uncle Jimmy”, he loved and supported all of his family. James was a loving husband to his
wife Linda Eberhardt, until she passed.
As time went by, James met Claren Lasley Jones. They married on September 21, 2007. While dating, he had decided to join her Church, Harvest Time for Christ - New Life Temple Church. James was a dedicated member ever since. He exercised his membership in a variety of ways: supporting the Share & Care Ministry (helped prepare and distribute food boxes to the community), being a Care Group Leader (Evangelism and fellowship), participating in the
Welcome Committee (Welcoming new Church members), involvement with the Church's.
Beautification Committee (helped clean the facility, plant flowers, etc.), and more.
Aside from his rewarding commitment to the Church, James had gained two additional. daughters, Brittany and Dana, and a granddaughter, Layla. All who he also embraced, as his own. He soon became a noble Father figure in their lives. James was a devoted husband to his
wife Claren. Even when her health began to fail, he graciously cared for her, until she passed. Though he endured great trials and tribulations both in his life, and with his own health, he continued to be a kind, easy-going, selfless Man. He will be greatly missed, but his loved ones
find comfort in knowing that his suffering is no more. He’s been promoted. James was preceded in death by parents James Lee Eberhardt, Sr. and Ruby Eberhardt;

Obituary Preview: Jerry Spencer was born on September 21, 1981. He was the oldest child of Jerome and Vickie Spencer.
Jerry was nurtured and raised in a Christian faith-based loving home. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized in the name of The Lord Jesus Christ under the leadership of his father, Bishop Jerome Spencer.
Jerry attended Zion Christian Academy and Colerain High School. He was always a student who excelled with good grades. He was an excellent carpenter without having any formal training, repairing, painting, and remodeling his parent's attic.
In addition, he was skilled in auto mechanics - repairing tires. He had a wonderful personality, talking to anyone/everyone who would listen to him. When he got disciplined, he would just stand there and smile. Jerry never held a grunge. His attitude was, "OK, let's move past this and keep it moving." He could make humor out of any situation by the things he did and said. Before long, he would have you laughing and forgetting about whatever happened. He loved his family and his father so much. On several occasions, he said, "I need to help my dad more. I don't feel like I'm doing enough for him. He needs me."
Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, First Lady Vickie Spencer, grandparents, Bishop Sterling and First Lady Beatrice Spencer, and Matthew Williams.
Jerry departed this life on Monday, February 26, 2024. Leaving to cherish his memory: his father, Bishop Jerome Spencer, grandmother, Johnnie Mae Barlow aka, Nae-Nae, siblings Mayla Rubenbauer, Desmond Spencer (Tashia), Amari Spencer, and Kevin Lawrence, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Darryl G. Lambert, Sr. - January 24, 1949 - February 05, 2024

Obituary Preview: Darryl Gene Lambert, Sr., was born on January 24, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Herschel William Lambert and Ruth Lambert.
In 1967, Darryl graduated from Lincoln Heights High School, earning his high school diploma and he also attended Ohio State University. In 1970 Darryl joined the United States Air Force where he served his country for 24 years, retiring in 1994.
Darryl met Brenda Crittenton in 1967 while attending Ohio State University and they were married a few years later on March 7, 1970, for 42 wonderful years. Darryl was a faithful, committed husband to Brenda until her passing on April 14, 2012.
Darryl was filled with the Holy Ghost and was a dedicated servant of the Lord until his last breath. Darryl was a true servant and man of Yahweh living what he taught and learned. He became a scholar in the Word spending countless hours studying throughout his life and rightly dividing the Word of Truth. He was able to quote any Scripture and recall the Scriptures by chapter and verse, which is a testament to his knowledge of the Word.
Darryl attended and became a member of Bethlehem Temple Apostolic Church in 1972 under the pastorate of the late Bishop Elzie W. Young. Upon relocating to Washington, DC in 1974, he was under the pastorate of Bishop John T. Leslie, Jr. at the Church of Jesus Christ until 1984. From 1984-1986 in Crete, Greece, Darryl held church in his home in fellowship with the Greek Pentecostal Nationals, where he baptized in the Sea of Crete, discipled new converts, and began counseling. Darryl served as a Deacon on the Deacon Board, a Sunday School Superintendent, an ambassador on the Tarrying Committee, and an instructor for the Marriage Enhancement Class. Darryl continued his counseling ministry to young and old regarding marriage and family life issues. He and his late wife, Brenda, launched the Couples Committed to Christ Marriage Ministry at Bethlehem Temple and continued the ministry at Hope for You Family Life and Worship Center under the pastorship of Bishop Larry Dempsey.
Darryl was a hardworking man at times working three jobs to provide a good life for his wife and children. He spent quality time with his family and friends skating, playing table tennis, and playing board games like chess, and Scrabble and would show off his competitive nature by dominating his opponents in every sport and game he played kids, teens, and adults, he had no respect of persons! Darryl worked hard to enjoy the finer things in life, dressing to a “T” whenever he stepped out, dining at the finest of restaurants, vacationing around the world, and keeping his home on the hill in impeccable shape inside and out. He prided himself on having the best lawn in Springdale and would work for hours in the hot sun to preserve that title.
In 2013, Darryl met Vivian Dukes at a church they were both attending and shortly thereafter were married in holy matrimony on July 21, 2014. Darryl & Vivian were married for 9 1/2 lovely years , and they attended IDMR the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research in Northside where they were taught under the tutelage of Dr. Henry Clifford Kinley. Darryl also conducted Bible Study in their home teaching the Word of Yahweh and continued to be a faithful ambassador teaching and preaching the Gospel.

Obituary Preview: Ruby Mae McCoy Allen, 92, was born on May 30, 1931, to the late George Walter, Sr. and Ardelia McCoy in Birmingham, Alabama.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Decatur, Alabama. She served under the leadership of Pastor Michael Jones. She was a faithful member up until her illness and her Brother Johnny McCoy had to move her to Cincinnati to care for her. She would watch her church services online once it became available.
Ruby was educated in the Decatur Public School system. She worked several jobs throughout her lifetime. One of those jobs entailed caring for the Cox Family’s children. The youngest daughter Alesha did not hesitate to let you know (Ruby Mae is my momma). Ruby retired from Parkway Medical Hospital after working for over thirty years as a dessert and pastry cook. She was a great cook! The hospital staff and patients would request her to cook for them, especially her delicious turnip greens. Her family would often come to her house for a home cooked meal.
When her mother and brother became ill, she was their caregiver up until their passing. Ruby was married to the late James Allen. There were no children born into this union. She was preceded in death by one sister Gertrude McIntosh and four brothers: L.C., Charles, Buster and George Walter, Sr.

Obituary Preview: Reginald Carl Denton (67) of Cincinnati, Ohio, son of Henry and Louise (Denton) Brantley and grandson of Percy and Mattie Brantley Sr., and Bertha Kelly and Lester Yarbrough was born in Birmingham, Alabama on July 27, 1956. His family left Alabama when he was 4 and relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the seventh child of eleven.
Reginald attended Madisonville Elementary, Lyons Junior High and Withrow High School. While attending Withrow, he met his beloved wife Clara of 48 years. He then enlisted into the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged. Their union bore two children Johnnell Denton and Angel Denton. Reginald cared deeply for his family. He helped to care for his mother throughout her life. He would make sure that she had her daily cup of coffee. He proudly raised his grandchildren Jayla and Jayden after the passing of his daughter Angel in 2015. He was the brother that his siblings went to when they needed something, and he was always there. He was especially fond of his brother Michael and cared for him until his passing. Not only was he there for his wife, children, mother and siblings, he was there for each of his 30 plus nieces and nephews. To the family he was Uncle Reginald but to others he was known as “Reg,” “Reggie,” and “Mr. Madisonville.”
He loved Madisonville. He had such love for Madisonville that he helped form the Madisonville 55 and Older Club. By means of this club, he would facilitate events for the past and present residents of Madisonville. He believed in ‘Community’. He believed in having integrity and taking care of where you came from. He believed in giving back to the community and others. Behind the quiet demeanor, was a kind and tenderhearted man.
Reginald passed away on December 21, 2023 at home with his loving wife, Clara and son, Johnell. He was a very private man. Reginald found out that he had cancer in July of 2023 He was very private and many did not know he was sick or how sick he truly was. He did not want to spend his time with others worrying about him. He was a fighter, and wanted to be remembered as one, so he fought his illness until the end with dignity.
Reginald leaves to cherish his loving wife Clara Denton(Bennett), son Johnnell Denton, and grandchildren Kahlil Denton, Jayla Denton, Clara Denton, Jayden Denton, Jahnasia and great grandchildren Areion, Izaiah, Icelynn, Johnnell G., and Arleigh. He also leaves his sisters Charlotte (Gregory) Allen, Phyllis Lewis, Brenda Denton-Smith, Verneica Denton, Tonia Denton and in-laws Cheryl Denton, Frank Harris, Stanley Franklin and a host of nieces, nephews and other friends and family.

Danny graduated from Hughes High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. After high school he started working in the construction industry. He later joined Laborers’ Local 265 Union where he was a member for over 32 years until his death.
At an early age he gave his life to Christ.
Danny aka “Chuck” was known for his affectionate laughter and his skilled trade of mason-tending.
He enjoyed spending time with family especially his grandchildren.
He's survived by four sons: Daniel Terrell Sr (Jade) of Cincinnati, OH; Derrick Ruff of Cincinnati, OH; Dwan Batchelor of Cincinnati, OH; Danny Terrell of Detroit, MI.
