Angel is celebrated by her devoted husband, Wes Dias of Gibsonia, Pa, and her father, Harold Martin of Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late (Alice) Suzy Martin of Allison Park, Pa and granddaughter of the late Francis and John Karcis also of Allison Park, Pa. Angel was a devoted friend and will be missed by numerous friends many of whom she had since childhood.
Angel was an amateur member of the Equestrian world focusing on Eventing. She was well known and popular and was a staple in that world as well as a mentor and competitor. If she wasn't competing she could often be seen volunteering at events in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Her love for the sport started early in life and continued to her last day.

He was born October 6, 1960 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Shirley (Oberc) McCall and Perry James McCall Sr.
Perry was an amazing husband and father. He was a tireless worker. He loved fiercely, and there was no limit to what he would do for those he loved.
He is survived by wife, Misty Marie (Boring) McCall, of Verona, with whom he shared a son, Jensen Jett McCall; son, Perry James (Casey) McCall III of Pittsburgh; daughters, Christie Lee (Aaron) McCall Osche, McKenzie McCall; stepchildren Ethan Luke Murphy of Verona, Emily Lynn (Matthew Brumbaugh) Murphy, of Altman, PA, Hailie Marie Murphy, Michael Thomas Murphy, Connor Scott Murphy, Morgan Michelle Murphy, Riley Jane Murphy, all of Verona; grandchildren, Elena McCall, Colin Osche, Elliana Brumbaugh, Amira Brumbaugh; sister, Mary Beth McCall (Gary) Fosnaught, four nephews and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley "Pat" McCall in 2005, his father, Perry James McCall Sr. in 2008, his brother, Robert McCall in 2016, and sister, Bonita “Bonnie” McCall.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 6 PM at King Funeral Home 2341 Woodland Circle, Allison Park PA. Interment will be private.

Obituary Preview: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley D. (Herzer) Hammel of Middlesex Township on February 26, 2024. A gracious and beautiful woman, Shirley was born October 2, 1935, in Pittsburgh. She is the daughter of the late Clarence and Amelia Herzer.
Shirley was a retired cosmetician, working almost her entire career at Thrift Drug and Eckert Drug. Shirley has been a member of St Mark Evangelist Parish, Holy Sepulcher, for more than 60 years.
Shirley is survived by her four children, Sandy (Doug) Parker of Marysville, OH, Julie (Paul) Ivancik, Butler, PA, Steven Schweizer, Tarentum PA, and Karl Schweizer, Valencia, PA; grandchildren, Lauren Mange, Shannon Long, Theresa Ivancik, Sarah Paserba, Ryan Ivancik, Jennifer Schweizer, Catherine Schweizer, and Stefanie Elder, and 7 great grandchildren.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, John A. Hammel and wonderful companion Thomas Veltri and her 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Shirley loved her family more than anything in life and enjoyed the outdoors, reading, cooking, baking and traveling.
Friends will be received Wednesday, February 28, from 2 - 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at King Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2841 Woodland Circle in Allison Park.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 29, at 10 am at St. Mark Evangelical Parish, Holy Sepulcher Church, 1304 Cruikshank Road in Butler.
Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens in Cheswick.

She was surrounded by her loving husband of 33 years, Darko Jurkovic, her two sons Vaughn and Evan Jurkovic, and her mother, Vera Marelli. Her father, Jerome Marelli, preceded her in death.
A graduate of Greater Works Academy and Bradford Business School, Traci later established herself as an esthetician after graduating from South Hills Beauty Academy and worked 17 years at Salon Vivace, Treesdale.
Traci was diagnosed with breast cancer and she and Darko successfully battled the disease for 6 years holistically using an integrative approach. Throughout these years, she never questioning why but instead mentored many others facing the same diagnosis.
Traci will be remembered for her deep love of the Lord, her kindness to others, her sense of style, her beauty inside and out, her sweet personality, and her keen sense of humor.

She is survived by her son, Ken (Lois) Shirk; daughter in law, Deloris Shirk; grandsons, Sean (Valerie), Kevin (Patience), Christopher, and Stephen Shirk; great grandchildren, Miles, Chelsea, and Drew Shirk; Sister, Mary (Robert) Fox; and many nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Emmett C. Shirk and George Anderson; son, Robert E. Michele dedicated her life to being a wife, a sister, a mother, and grandmother. She worked as the Office Manager/Accountant for Treesdale Golf & Country Club. Michele spent her diagnosis with the "it is what it is" mindset. Her strength and determination will be carried on through her family.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Joseph Robert Hoffmann; sister, Cecilia "Cele" (Paul Stellitano) Herbig; daughter, Caitlin (Jonathan) Baird; son, Joseph (Taylor Solomon) Hoffmann; grandchildren, Bentley, Landon, and Jolene Baird; doggie grandma to Scooby and Spike.

Kevin started his career with Pinkerton EMS as an EMT. He was a volunteer at Richland EMS, Hampton Township EMS, and West Deer Volunteer Fire Dept #3. Kevin Moved onto being an Emergency Dispatcher for Norcom and Statcom and most recently retired as Outreach Coordinator for Stat Medevac. In addition to loving his job with Stat Medevac, he loved fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends at his camp in Benezette, PA.
He is survived by his brother, Keith (Maureen) Laskovich, his extended family Brian Hanna, Scott (Callie) Hanna. He was the beloved PopPop to Juniper Hanna. He was Godfather to Tori Campbell and Cora Kirchner. He was preceded in death by his beloved Rebel Dog. Additionally, he was a mentor and friend to many. Cathy graduated in 1968 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, where she was one of the few women engineering majors at the time. She worked for Elliot Group until she left to raise her children full time. She is survived by her husband, John Flaherty, of Gibsonia, PA; son, Michael (Nicole) Flaherty; daughter, Lynn (Patrick Kibler) Flaherty; daughter, Bridget (Maximilian Jameson-Lee) Flaherty; grandchildren, Lucas Kibler, Audrey Kibler, Juliet Kibler, Ella Flaherty, Finneas Jameson-Lee, Ignatius Jameson-Lee, and her sister, Colleen Murray

His family was the most important thing in his life. Jerry will be deeply missed by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, relatives, and friends, who will forever hold him close in their hearts. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will live on through the memories he created and the love he shared.

Adored husband for 6 years of Kristin (Foreman) Riley; beloved son of Susan and William Hood; devoted father of Joseph Tyler-“JT” and Nathan Michael Riley; treasured brother of Cynthia (Riley) Moffat (Ralph); brother-in law of Kim and Bob Bittner; Uncle to Sean, Brian (Julia), Jake and Dan Bittner and Great Uncle to Arthur M. Bittner.
Joe graduated from Richland High School in 1991. He also held accounting and business management degrees from CCAC. He coached his sons and many others with Pine Richland Baseball for several years. He was currently employed at Pittsburgh Fire Sprinkler.
Joe lived his life to the fullest. He treasured being with his family and friends, loved golfing with his sons and Bill. He also enjoyed going to concerts, sitting by the ocean, and traveling with his wife. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, and hosted many Steelers parties with family and friends. His passion for life and his generous spirit will be remembered by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 6th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at King Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park, PA 15101.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, boating on the three rivers, working on cars, or anything else with a motor. He was also an avid Steeler fan.
Surviving are his son, Neal Jr. (Vanessa) of Houston Texas; daughter, Maria (fiancée Brian); granddaughter, Destiny of Butler PA; father, Samuel Galore from Allison Park; brother Timothy (Linda) of Verona PA; sister Marcia from Allison Park; sister, Wendy Barnard from Centennial CO; niece, Ashley Galore; Nephews, Ethan Barnard and Jeremy Barnard.
He also leaves behind his best friends Leonard Scott Thomas and his wife Tina, who graciously took him in and were his caregivers.
He was preceded in death by his wife Debra and his mother Doris J. Galore.

Audrey was a Telephone Operator with Bell Telephone Company and was a Christian Mother of St. Ursula Church.
She is survived by her son, Charles H. Meyer; son, Ronald J. Meyer; daughter, Marcia J. (Meyer) Schnauffer; son Russell A. Meyer and son Brian H. Meyer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Meyer, son, John R. Meyer, brother, Robert A. Hofmannn, Jr., sister, Jeanne L. Natale, sister, Dorothy V. Dunker, sister, Edith G. Armstrong and brother John G. Hofmann.

Norman Lloyd Kimes, Jr. - July 17, 1931 - January 20, 2024

Obituary Preview: Norman L. Kimes, Jr., age 92, of Tarentum, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024.
Born July 17, 1931 in Oil City, he was the son of the late Norman L. and Alma (Anderson) Kimes Sr.
He was a graduate of the Oil City High School Class of 1949. He attended Slippery Rock College for two years and then enlisted in the Army. Before leaving for his station in Germany, he married his Oil City High School sweetheart, Lois Elaine Toy and she accompanied him, working herself for Radio Free Europe. They were stationed in Munich.
On returning to the States so that their first child, Don, would be born here, Norm began working in sales for Wolf’s Head Refining Company in Oil City, Pennsylvania. Later he worked for Pennzoil Refining and he eventually started his own business in the petro-chemical field, Kimes Technologies International. Both his younger son, David and his daughter Julia also worked for KTI. In the late 1960’s, he and Lois bought a small farm so that his children could live part of their lives in a rural area. His work led him to a great deal of travel, throughout North America, Europe and Asia. On Norman’s retirement, Julia took over the company as President, and his grand-daughter Adalie Ecker runs the business today.
An avid golfer, Norman became a member of Oakmont Country Club. He loved his family deeply and his life was rooted in his faith. He served in many capacities ranging from singing in the Choir and teaching Sunday School to serving as a Deacon and Elder in his home church, Parkwood Presbyterian, in Hampton.
He is survived by his son, Donald M. (Lois Jubeck) Kimes, of Washington, D.C.; son, David (Deana) Kimes of Slippery Rock, PA; son in law, Julius Ecker, of Indiana Township, PA; seven grandchildren, Jesse Kimes, Elaina Kimes, Todd Kimes, Julius Ecker, Jr., Adalie Ecker, Nathan Ecker, Jacob Ecker; and eight great grandchildren; brother, John A. Kimes and sister, Barbara Rose Myers. He will be missed by them all.

Sandra was a Laboratory Technician with Presbyterian Hospital and she worked as a glass etcher at Etched in Glass. She was a Master Gardner. She started her career in her younger days as a lab tech. After starting a family she earned a “Master Gardner” certificate from Penn State. She had a passion for plants and worked for plantscape and was a long time member of the Pittsburgh Garden Center. She also was an amazing artist in all mediums from oil to ceramics. She enjoyed working with her creative gifts for various employers throughout her life until her retirement.
She is survived by her beloved husband, William "Bill" C. Snider, Jr., of Allison Park, PA; daughter, Lisa Marie (Nick) Bergquist of Verona, PA.; grandchildren, Cole Bergquist, Laura Huggins, Milena Bergquist.
A Funeral Service will be held at Friday, January 26, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park, PA with Rev. Don Scandrol officiating.

Born November 17, 1936 in Liverpool, England, he was the son of the late John Alfred and Ethelwin (Harrison) McCormick. He was a veteran of the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom.
John earned his Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. He was a chemist and a member of the American Chemical Society. He worked for US Steel, USS Chemicals and Aristech.
John was a voracious reader. He enjoyed listening to jazz and watching birds outside his back window.
John is survived by his wife, Diane (Bargiel) McCormick, whom he married on December 21, 1974; their daughter, Megan Burns and her husband, Adam and their twin children, Lewis Rex and Stella Annemarie Burns, all of Chicago, Illinois; his daughter, MaryAnn McCormick of Ossining, New York; son, Thomas McCormick and his wife, Shelley and their children, Rory and Lily McCormick, all of Waterford, Connecticut; sister, Pauline Reynolds and her husband, Roger of Shapleigh, Maine; sister in law, Kathleen McCormick of Monroe, New York; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Michael McCormick and his brother, Peter Vincent McCormick.
John’s family will welcome friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Saturday, February, 10, 2024 at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 2841 Woodland Circle in Allison Park.
A Blessing Service will immediately follow at 12:00 noon at the King Funeral Home.
He will be privately laid to rest at Hampton Cemetery in Allison Park.

Born May 8, 1937 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Waldo and Hazel (Hoburg) Anderson.
Jim was raised in Hampton Twp. where he attended high school and earned a spot on the Hampton High School Football Hall of Fame. He lived the rest of his life in Hampton, as a business owner, most notably of Anderson Sales & Service.
Jim enjoyed many hobbies including car racing as a car owner, driver and fan, travel, hunting, motorcycle riding, boating, snow skiing, water skiing, snowmobiling, and avid gardening. He even enjoyed square dancing and loved those Steelers.
Jim’s nearly 70 years as a fixture at Anderson Sales & Service, repairing, selling, heavy-duty towing, and turnpike service will provide his family and friends with many more years of stories and memories.
Jim is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, June, sons Ken and Jon (Gwen), step-children , Debbie (Bill) Newcomer, Cathy (Rick) Speicher, and Bob (Mary) Thompson, ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at King’s Funeral Home, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park, PA 15101 on Thursday, January 18th, 2-4 and 6-8. Funeral Service begins at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, January 19th at Hampton Presbyterian Church, 2942 E. Hardies Road, Gibsonia.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce F. Best, son, Jeffrey and his wife, Darlene Best; son, Earl Best and infant son Frederick Best.

Born May 26, 1931 in Pittsburgh (Oakland), he was the son of the late John L. and Theresa (Ingold) Mabold. He married Dorothy Morrow on February 8, 1958.
Paul worked for 43 years at Nabisco before retiring in 1993.
As a member of Hampton Presbyterian Church since 1957, Paul also served as an usher and sang in the choir and played on the church softball team. He enjoyed bowling, playing piano and gardening. He liked travelling with his family and especially enjoying going to Florida in the winter.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Dorothy (Morrow) Mabold; three sons, Paul R. (Paula) Mabold of Valencia, Thomas J.(late Kristine) Mabold, of West Sunbury and Joseph B.(late Nancy) Mabold of Harrison City; brother, Raymond Mabold; grandchildren, Amanda (Steve) Miller, Christopher (Shannon), John, Kassandra (Evan) Byrnes, Sara (Joseph) Ludwig, William (Cheyenne) Mabold; great grandchildren; Ava, Katie, Mitchell, Nora, Waelynn, Gannon, Joseph, Daniel, Rori, and Emma Lee and also nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three daughters in law, Nancy J., Kristine, and Nancy L. Mabold; brothers, John W. Harold, And William Mabold; sister, Jean Federspiel and grandson, Samuel Mabold.

Miglioretti I in 1978 and was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Lou Openbrier (Bell), father William Openbrier Sr., and brother William Openbrier Jr.
Sheryl is survived by her husband Severo Miglioretti, son Severo Miglioretti II (Jessica); step-daughters Maria Miglioretti (Lucky) and Diana Miglioretti (Jaysun); grandchildren Julianna and Gianluca; sisters Linda Allese (Pat) and Peggy Chichester; niece Kimberly Pennine; nephew Joshua Chichester, and many other family members and friends.

Born in Joella-do, South Korea. Sun Im is preceded in death by her late husband Malsuk Kim and daughter Chong (Clarence) Floyd of Coraopolis, PA. She is survived by four children, Yong Su (Seung Hee) Kim of Gibsonia, PA, AeYoung Kim of Seoul, Korea, Aeran (Geumsok) Ko of Pittsburgh, PA, and Hungsu (Haejung) Kim of Spotsylvania, VA. She was a Grandmother to nine grandchildren: Henry Floyd, Symeon (Sara) Floyd, Andrew (Seung Ah) Kim, Joanne (Joseph) Malone, Caroline (Steven) Dotterer, Brian (Reshma) Ko, Hannah (Damien) Blaker, Eli Kim, and Minah Kim. She was also a Great Grandmother to ten great grandchildren: David and Jason Floyd, Lilah and Livy Floyd, Shilo and Avianna Kim, Noah and Rose Malone, Luna Dotterer, Malia Ko and Minsu Kim.
Sun Im was a devout Catholic and was a member of the Korean Catholic community for over 43 years. Saint Pope John Paul ll said, “Not all are called to be artists in the specific sense of the term. Yet as Genesis has it, all men and women are entrusted with the task of crafting their own life; in a certain sense, they are to make of it a work of art, a masterpiece.” Sun Im was known in the community to have many skills, talents, and a passion to create. She was an avid knitter, loved gardening, enjoyed creating paper vases and was known well for her delicious meals. She endured many hardships in life and went forth always with fortitude, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of gratitude and love.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Sun Im’s life on Monday January 8th from 4pm - 8pm at King Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park, PA 15101.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 9th at 11am at St. John Cantius Church, 623 High St. Pittsburgh, PA 15215.
She will be laid to rest at St. Augustine Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
