Ronald was a Sergeant First Class in the National Guard from 1956-1964 and retired from Ingersoll Rand in 1993 after 36 years of service there in the purchasing department. He married Joann M. (King) on September 2, 1978. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending summers at their cottage on Seneca Lake. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0730 in Addison, NY and a life member of the North American Club. He is survived by his wife, Joann; daughter, Joy Mitchell and her husband, Rich Kesterke of Lawrenceville; granddaughter, Alyse Mitchell and her fiancé, Brandon Hickerson; special grandson, Garrett Mitchell; brother, Richard Naylor and sister in law, Maureen Naylor and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Naylor and sister in law, Patricia Naylor. There will be no services held at this time. Born January 9, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Sylvester and Dorothy (Schlenner) Gibney. Richie worked for the Brooklyn Navy shipyard and retired from the Long Island USPS as a mail handler. He married Eleanor Eliane on  August 9, 1959 and they shared 62 years together. He loved fishing and putting puzzles together but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Richie was a loving and wonderful husband and loving and protective father, who was loved by many. He is survived by his beloved wife, Eleanor; his children, Todd R. Gibney of Tucson, AZ, Corinne (Jeffrey) Wood of Tioga, PA and Jennifer Gibney of Buffalo, NY; grandchildren, Alexandria, Nicholas, Megan, Anthony, Vincent and Victor; seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Obituary Preview: Deborah Sue Draper, age 61 of Millerton, PA passed away at her home surrounded by family on Saturday, March 19, 2022. Born on February 23, 1961, in Wellsboro, PA, she was the daughter to Ross E. and Shirley M. (Davis) Kenyon.
On March 4, 1995, Richard E. Draper married Deborah, although only married for 27 years; they actually shared their lives together for about 42 loving years. In that time shared together they had two daughters, Carrie Draper Perry and Sarah Draper.
Deb enjoyed baking, taking care of animals, camping and being outdoors. She also loved gardening and floral design. That love for flowers carried over into her career; by owning a floral shop known as Deb’s Flowers. Deb also donated when she could to groups like Heart to Heart, Animal Care Sanctuary, the Millerton Food Pantry, Girl and Boy Scouts, and she even donated flowers to Williamson Sr./Jr. High School’s Proms for many years.
Unfortunately, she had an unexpected second fight with cancer this year after overcoming her first battle of breast cancer in 2006. Her memory should be remembered for her love of life and most people, per Deb’s wishes.
Deborah is survived by her loving spouse, Richard E. Draper; daughters, Carrie Draper (Scott) Perry and Sarah K. Draper; mother, Shirley M. Kenyon; sisters, Carol A. Bissinger, Bobbi J. Brown and Joy L. Kenyon; grandchildren, Aiden and Keira Cannon and Addison Perry; and great grandchild, Ronan Knowlton. She was preceded by her father, Ross E. Kenyon and brother, Bill Kenyon.

Mortimer on October 16, 1953 and they shared 69 years together.  She worked at the Electri-Cord in Westfield and retired from the Knoxville Library, where she was the Librarian, member of the book club and served on the Library board for many years.  She was a member of the Knoxville Yoked Church, liked to bake, loved gardening and her flowers and was an avid reader.  Viola is survived by her loving husband, Robert; her children, John and Colleen Mortimer of Knoxville, PA,  Michele and Tom Anderson of Pottstown, PA and Katrina and Peter Croke of Coudersport; grandchildren, Christina Colegrove, Stephanie Katch, Megan Colegrove, Ashleigh Styer, McKayla Bodine and Bowen Croke; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Betty McConnell of South Hadley, MA; a niece, Vickie Wilson of Huntington, MA and several step siblings.  A private family service will be held at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to the Knoxville Public Library, 112 E. Born on March 2, 1965, in Blossburg, PA he was the son of the late Robert Glenn and Barbara (Moon) Peet. Robert grew up in Cocoa Beach, Florida, and Westfield, PA. From 1984 to 1992, Robert was a Sergeant in the United States Army. As a member of the 4th infantry division, Robert was an Army Engineer and saw service at the Berlin Wall. Additionally, Robert was a member of the Army National Colour Guard. Following his honorable discharge from the service, Robert returned to Westfield, PA, and played Bass Guitar in various rock groups including Quiet Thunder (1988-1989, 1992-1995) and Hired Guns (1990-1991). Following his retirement from music in 1995, Robert married the love of his life and best friend, Tonya L. Tilton. They were married for over 27 years. Robert enjoyed camping, hiking, playing music, tending to his garden, being an Herbalist, winemaking, collecting stamps/coins, and spending time with his family. Robert is survived by his spouse, Tonya Peet of Knoxville, PA; children Jessica (Bret) Askins and their daughters, Leyton and Wayland of Texas, Nathaneil R. (Allison) Peet, of Knoxville, PA and Joshua Peet (Joeleen) of Knoxville, PA, Genie (Ben) Reagle of Belmont, New York, Pacer Bruce (Brenda) of Hazleton, PA, Chanse (Brianna) Miles of Knoxville, PA, Mariah (Charles) Bisel of Osceola, PA, Talon (Marisa) Miles and their son, Oakley of Ithaca, NY, Trace Miles of Idaho, and Mary Symonds/Aaron Marsiglio of Woodhull, NY; siblings Timothy (Denise) Peet of Phoenixville, Terry Peet of Telford, PA and Jeff Peet of Knoxville, PA; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Obituary Preview: Helen Elizabeth Foster (known as Daisy to her close family) of Tioga, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 9, 2022, after a brief stay at Broad Acres Nursing Center in Wellsboro. She was born July 9, 1937 in Wellsville, NY, daughter of the late Raymond and E. Marjorie (Thompson) Burkett. Helen was married to Richard Foster for 63 years. Helen had a giving heart and a strong faith in God from a small child and loved being a wife, mother and “MamMam”. She loved history and poetry and could still recite the Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address. She was employed by Commonwealth Bank for many years and after retirement, she accepted a position at Dunham’s Department store where she was still employed full-time until her sudden illness four weeks ago. She so enjoyed her employers, her co-workers and her customers, many of whom she considered close friends. Helen is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter, Kimberly (Dennis) Johns of Wellsboro; five grandchildren, Christian, Brandon, Emily, Ashley and Elizabeth; five great-grandhchildren, Skye, Riah, Tyco, Teller and Tristan; her sister, Donna McGinnis of Wellsville, NY and a very special friend, Kevin Johns. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy John Foster and a brother, Thomas Burkett. Helen would want us all to remember the words from Isaiah 40…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
