Charles L. “Lou” Mussi, 87, of Monongahela, died Wednesday April 6, 2022 at home.
He was born March 11, 1935 in Wampum, a son of the late Joseph and Maimee Freed Mussi.
Lou was retired as an over the road truck driver.  He was a member of Crossroads Ministries and had a lifelong love for horses.
Surviving are his wife Diane Costa Mussi, three sons; Joseph (Petra) Mussi, Charles (Lisa) Mussi Jr. and Paul Mussi, three daughters; Palmeria (Frank) Graziani,   Cindy (Tony) Corrado and Ramonia Aites, one sister; Joanne Brown, step son David Wysochanski, step daughter Faith (Chet) Noll, ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, nine step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are his first wife Mary Louise, second wife Edith, step daughter Deborah Daquila, twin sister Louise Fanelli and numerous other immediate family members.
Friends will be received from 1-4 and 6-8pm Sunday in Kegel Funeral home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Ave Finleyville.  Funeral services will be held 11am Monday in Crossroads Ministries 81 Walter Long Rd Finleyville.  Everyone please meet at the church. Private interment will be held in Grandview Cemetery, Beaver Falls.  Memorial donations can be made to the church.

Joanne M. Barcala, 84, of Finleyville, died Thursday March 31, 2022 in Jefferson Hospital.
She was born March 30, 1938 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Davis Berckmiller.
Joanne was retired as a real estate agent with the former Century 21 in Finleyville.  She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi church and enjoyed vacations with her cousins to Lake Erie and traveling group; Sisters of the Sea.
Surviving are her husband; John Barcala, a son; John (Dawn) Barcala of Monongahela, two daughters; Laura Burgess of South Park and Maria (David) Rapp of Monongahela, four grandchildren; Nina, David, Natalia and Victoria, great granddaughter Scarlette and several cousins.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8pm Monday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Ave Finleyville.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Tuesday in St. Francis of Assisi Church of St. John XXIII Parish 3609 Washington Ave Finleyville.  Interment will follow in Finleyville Cemetery.

She was born March 4, 1932 in Elrama, a daughter of the late Michael and Agnes Cindrich Uremovich.
Goldie was a homemaker, member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Croatian Club and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are her son, Ronald (Margaret) Suty of Finleyville; daughter, Joann (Mark) Bellis of Finleyville; five grandchildren, Joshua Suty, Jenica (Jared) Lowe, Nicole (Russell) Shimek and Ashley and Garrett Bellis; eight great grandchildren, Caden and Addison Suty, Demetri, Gavyn, Kaleb, Makenzee and Elliana Lowe and Cora Shimek; a brother, Joseph Uremovich of Finleyville; sister, Clara DiNofrio of New Eagle and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband Frank Suty, a brother George Uremovich and sister Anna Urban.

Ronald L. Gambirasi, 77, of Finleyville, died Tuesday February 22, 2022 after a lengthy illness.
He was born May 20, 1944 in New Eagle, a son of the late Lewis and Margaret Foster Gambirasi.
Ron worked for 45 years as a Civil Engineer and retired as a Senior Designer of Structures in 2010 from SAI Consulting Engineers.  One of the local bridges he worked on was the Joe Montana Bridge in the Mon Valley.  He loved sports, playing baseball in high school and had a tryout with the Pittsburgh Pirates.  He enjoyed golf, bowling, playing cards and casino trips for slots and blackjack.  He coached his daughter’s softball teams for several years and never missed his granddaughter’s soccer games.  Ron was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and Steelers season ticket holder for many years.  He attended Super Bowl X in 1976 in Miami where the Steelers defeated the Cowboys.  Ron loved traveling, especially to Vegas. He also took his family on a three week vacation to California and back and on a once in a lifetime trip to Hawaii.
Ron will be remembered as a family man, putting his family first.  His granddaughter was his pride and joy.  He will be greatly missed by his family.
Surviving are two daughters; Sue (Patrick) Riley of Bethel Park and Amy (Gary) Vollmer of Finleyville, brother; Gerald (Edie) Gambirasi of The Colony, Tx and granddaughter Brooke Vollmer.
Deceased in addition to his parents are his wife of 33 years, his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Twyla Craig Gambirasi.

Surviving are his wife, Cindy Stell Holsopple; three sons, Darrin (Michelle) Holsopple of Eighty-Four, Troy (Claudia) Holsopple of Monongahela and Brent (Kristen) Holsopple of McMurray and four grandchildren, Gunnar, Shelby, Lukas and Sydney.
Deceased in addition to his parents is his brother Rolland Holsopple.

Leanna was a homemaker and was a dealer for Tupperware for 35 years. . She was a member of Thomas Presbyterian Church, Nottingham Farm Women, 80 year member of North Strabane Grange and served as Nottingham Township Judge of Elections for 50 years She enjoyed baking buns, embroidery and spending time with her family.
Surviving are three sons; Phillip (Sarah) Schafer of Eighty Four, Lee (Laura) Schafer of Eighty Four, and Thomas (Temmy) Schafer of Amity, two daughters; Cheryle (Tom) Walton and Teralyn “Terri” Schmidt (Barry Ford)  both of Eighty-Four, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, two great-great grandsons on the way and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband; H. Arthur Schafer, three sisters; Eleanor, Virginia and Freda, grandson Andrew and great-great grandson Jackson.

She enjoyed cruises, spending time with family and friends especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren at pool parties, and was a passionate donator to Christian missions.
Surviving are her husband; Robert Magiske, son; Robert (Lynn) Magiske of Monongahela, two daughters; Donna (Kimbel) Clackson of McMurray and Carol Marie ( Joseph Clark) Territo of West Mifflin, five grandchildren; Nicole (Daniel), Matthew(Grace), Michael(Chelsey), Christopher(Jaclyn) and Amy(Zachary), ten great-grandchildren; Gabriel, Alexia, Savannah, Francesca, Mackenzie, Natalie, Mia, Hayston, Hunter and Arthur, a sister; Carol (John) Walker and nephew  John Eric.

On January 11, 2022, James passed away peacefully at the age of 87. Jim was born in the house he grew up in the tiny village of Hackett, PA, on a street later named “Mervin Drive”. He graduated from Peters Township High School in 1952, where he played baseball and was a star basketball player.
Jim dedicated over 40 years to Chapman Corporation and was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local #12, retiring in 1996. He was an avid gun collector and gardener who enjoyed trap shooting and created many fond memories hunting out west in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, South Dakota and Utah with his sons. Jim was very generous and always willing to help his friends in need. He was sharp and always had a joke up his sleeve, even in his final days. He was loved and will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Anna (Fefolt) Mervin, wife Beverly (Crouch), 4 sisters and 2 brothers. He is survived by sons, Jeffrey (Ann), Richard (Maria), Scott (Tracy) and Michael (Kathy), 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family wants to thank Jim’s caregiver, Agnes Oino, for taking good care of him over the past 5 years.

He was born October 2, 1930 in Brownsville, a son of the late John Blaze and Anna Charnovich.
John was retired as a Roll Builder with the former LTV Steel in Hazelwood.  After retirement, he worked for 15 years at Fort Cherry Golf Club, his favorite job. He served in the US Army during the Korean War, was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, L.O.O.M #172 and was an avid golfer and Steelers fan.  He will be fondly remembered as a jokester.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 70 years; Nancy Piel Charnovich, son; John (Jane) Charnovich Jr. of Longmont Co, two daughters; Deborah (Wynn) Stevenson of Canonsburg and Jan (Mike) Kotula of Jefferson, NC, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers; Joseph and Henry Blaze and two sisters; Mary Steele and Barbara Ferry.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Andrew E. Slavonic, 104, of Cecil Twp., formerly of McMurray, died with his family by his side Monday, December 27, 2021 in the VA Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born December 1, 1917 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Charles and Anna Stempo Slavonic. Andrew was retired as a stainless steel salesman with Allegheny Ludlum in Washington.   He enlisted in the Army Air Corps during World War II with dreams of being a pilot.  He spent the majority of his time in the service as a nose gunner on the B-24 Liberator, flying with crews training pilots switching from 2 to 4 engine aircraft before moving to the top turret gunner position on the B-17 Flying Fortress.  He was a member of St John XXIII Parish , American Legion Post 613 in Finleyville and was a 1958 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.  His daily joy was his 4pm Coors Light beer, which he attributed to his longevity
Surviving are his son, Robert Slavonic of Cecil Twp.; daughter, Susan Melzer of Bethel Park; two grandchildren, Jason (Ashley) Melzer of Finleyville and Jamie Melzer (Ryan Compton)  of Bridgeport WV, a great-grandchild on the way and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are his wife, Patricia Slavonic and twelve siblings

​Rich was retired as a claims adjuster.  He was also previously employed as a body man with the former Vicker’sChevrolet in Finleyville, Tomsic Motors and Yenko Chevrolet.  After retirement, Rich worked as a mechanic for the former Vaccari Enterprises in Venetia.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 613, life member of the Finleyville Vol. Fire Department, Mingo Rod and Gun Club, and Mon Valley Honor Guard.  He taught hunter/trapper education courses for over 25 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing and his dog Toby.
​Surviving are his wife, Patricia Metrovich Corbin; two brothers, Roger (Dorothy) Corbin of Bentleyville and Thomas Corbin of Eighty Four; a sister, Linda Corbin of Eighty Four and many nieces and nephews.
​Deceased are three brothers; Phillip, Joseph and Kenneth Corbin. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville.  A blessing service will be held 11am Monday in the Funeral Home.  Interment with full military honors will follow in Finleyville Cemetery.
