Obituary Preview: Lorraine (Lepine) Robidoux, 86, of Smithfield, RI, formerly of Uxbridge, MA, and Burrillville, RI, passed away on April 2, 2022. She was the wife of the late Ronald Robidoux.
She was born in Mapleville, the daughter of the late Raymond Lepine and Therese (Garceau) Lepine. She was a graduate of Saint Clare High School and Hill College.
She was employed in various occupations over her life, and volunteered for several agencies, including most recently the Uxbridge Food Pantry. However, her longest and the most significant role was as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.
She is survived by her five sons, Timothy, Mark, Philip, Peter, and David, their spouses, six wonderful grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter, as well as by her sister Pauline Friedrichs.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd. North Smithfield, RI. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 9th from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home immediately following calling hours at 3:00 PM. Burial at St. Patrick Cemetery will be held privately at a later date. At the request of the family we respectfully ask masks be worn during services.

Aaron Thomas Young - June 03, 2000 - March 18, 2022

Obituary Preview: Aaron T. Young 21, of Connecticut, passed away on March 18, 2022, due to injuries sustained in a tragic motor vehicle accident. He is the son of Jeffery and Victoria Young of Burrillville, RI.
Aaron was a student intern for the Defense Contract Audit Agency. He Graduated from Bacon Academy and received a bachelor’s degree from Franklin Pierce University. He was presently working on his master’s degree in Forensic Accounting.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his only sister, Erika Young, and her partner Zach Forsberg-Lary, and his partner of two years, Nicholas Yapoujian.
He was the maternal grandson of Joyce Lee and Robert Anthony Cerroni, the paternal grandson of the late Raymond Young and Ann Ducharme “Amma”. He also leaves behind his aunts and uncles; Beth Cabana, Susan Garceau, Raymond Young, Amy Bove, Nathan Wilcox, Erika Castergini, Aimee Rupp, and many cousins.
He was a talented athlete beginning in childhood through his adulthood, from the Colchester Cougars to Bacon Academy to D II Track & Field at Franklin Pierce University. He was the Connecticut State Champ in pole vaulting. He was a valued teammate who always had the back of those around him.
He loved football, pole vaulting, animals, and children.
Aaron was born with a smile that never left his face. He will be remembered by everyone as a bright light who touched everyone he knew. He was wise beyond his years. His heart was pure, and his friendship was everlasting to those that were blessed to know him.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, RI. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 23, from 5 - 8:00 PM. A Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home on March 24 at 11:00 a.m with lunch immediately following.

Obituary Preview: Thomas A. Cipollone, 65, of North Providence, Rhode Island passed away on March 18, 2022. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giulio and Marie (Pezzulo) Cipollone. He was the husband of Darlene Cipollone.
Thomas was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He worked for the Providence VA Medical Center as a custodian, at the Providence Rescue Mission, and volunteered much of his free time at the VA. He served as a Deacon and sang in the choir and was very involved in ministry. Every morning he would message his family and friends a religious quote for the day. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Charlene and Caitlin Cipollone, his siblings, Michael and Linda, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Cipollone.
He loved playing cards, fishing, the New England Patriots, and nature. The eagle was his favorite animal. He enjoyed dressing up and going out dancing with his love. Thomas always wanted to be a "Rockstar.” In his prime, he played drums in his father’s country and western band. Thomas loved his family more than words could say.

Obituary Preview: Joyce M. (Barrette) Savini, 73, of North Smithfield passed away on February 22, 2022, at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Yvonne (Denault) Barrette. She was the loving wife of Antonio “Tony” Savini.
Joyce worked as a clerk for the Town of North Smithfield Tax Assessors Office.
She enjoyed playing games on her computer, camping, bingo, and her greatest joy of all was spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed the time she got to spend with her grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her.
Besides her husband Tony, she is survived by her two children, Greg and Gordon Jackson, II. Joyce was preceded in death by her sons, Garen and Glen Jackson.
She also leaves behind her only sibling, her brother, Paul Barrette.
She was an amazing grandmother to her five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Joyce will also be missed by her fur baby Molly.

Tom was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He loved golfing, gardening, watching sports, traveling, and reading on his deck.
He was the loving father of his 3 children, Mark, Scott, and Christine Perry.
He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Dawn, Mark, Amanda, Jordan, Erin, and Steven, and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was the brother of Patricia O’Brien and the late Paul Perry and Doreen Lefebvre.

Born in El Paso, TX he was the son of Paul and Phyllis (Pratt) Haenel and brother of Lance and Linda Haenel. He was a loving and devoted husband of Margaret (Fortune) Haenel for 30 years.
He is survived by his mother ,Phyllis Davis, stepfather, Bruce Davis, wife, Margaret Haenel, brother, Lance Haenel and children, Dylan and Felicia Haenel, Colleen Williams and Kayla Shewchuk. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Steven was an award-winning dog trainer for Charter, Kerry Hills, and E.P. Kennels. He won over a dozen awards for his dog training, including his recognition in the Who’s Who (2005-2006) Edition.
He also worked many years as a bus driver for Laidlaw Bus Co. and as a tour bus driver for Academy Bus prior to his retirement.
Steven was not only considered to be a hero to his family but also performed the Heimlich Maneuver saving the lives of two fellow diners.
He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, boating, hiking, and camping with his family.

She is also survived by her brother, Edgar Turcotte.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Turcotte.

He worked for Balise Auto for 6 years prior to working for and retiring from Fed Ex where he was a driver for 25 years.
He loved fishing and hunting.
Besides his wife Cheryl, he was survived by his children, Christopher Lynch (Ashley), John (Brittney) Lynch, and Michael McKnight.
He was the loving grandfather of William, Ronan, Mackenzie, Zoe, and Julius, and Jason to whom he was also Godfather.
He was preceded in death by his brother Michael Ross.
James will be missed by everyone including his dog Kobe and cat Smokey.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Peggy Taschereau,  Clarice “Candy” Phaneuf, Robert Courtemanche and Muriel Dearman.
Besides her children, she leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Jason Lavoie, Mathew Bishop and Nicholas Libucha and his wife Jessica, and her 4 great-grandchildren.

Robert worked for Our Lady of Fatima Hospital for 35 years as an IT Manager. He was a Vietnam Veteran.  He was active with the Boy Scouts Troop 2 in Harrisville. In his free time, he and his wife enjoyed traveling around the world. He was an easy fun-loving and quick-witted guy with a great sense of humor. His family will always remember his beautiful voice bellowing out Christmas Carols on Christmas Eve. He was proud of being in Intelligence and to his final day, he kept his secrets to himself.
Besides his loving wife, he leaves behind his two children Ulrike “Rike” Murphy and Robert E. Ethier.
He was the proud grandfather of Ryan and Sean Murphy and Selah and Jamarie Ethier. He will be greatly missed.

She was the sister of the late Theresa Godin. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Cory, Stacy, Robert, Randall, Regina, Holly, Laura, Jeremy, and Christina,
18 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by his Paternal Grandmother, Barbara Blondin, a brother, Nicholas Soullier and his wife Crystal, his uncles, Norman and Paul Soullier and a handful of cousins.

She was the sister of Christopher Churchill, Joseph Churchill, Suzanne Rockel, and the late Spencer Churchill, Jr.
Besides her children, she leaves behind her 8 grandchildren, Kailey, Jackson, Valorie, Jazlynn, Jacqueline, Za’Dayah, Lillie, and Jianna, and her Goddaughter, Crystal Desaulniers and many nieces and nephews.
Georgette was a loving mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was an avid New England Patriots fan and she loved cooking. Georgetts passion for it was obvious with every delicious meal she made.

Kenneth leaves behind his loving fiancé, Mary Jane Morgan.
Kenneth served his country proudly as a member of the United States Air Force and in the Army Reserves.. He worked in the transportation field as a truck driver most of his life.
Besides his fiancé, Kenneth is survived by his siblings, Ruth Ellott, Judith Henault, Carole Boutilier, Joan Bissonnette and Brian Sherman and his nieces and nephews who he loved so much. He was preceded in death by his brother Russell Sherman.
Kenneth enjoyed camping, hiking and spending time in the White Mountains, NH.

She is survived by her children, Stephen Pratt of Boston, Donna Maurice of Cumberland, John Maurice of Myrtle Beach, David and James Maurice both of Woonsocket.
She was the proud grandmother of her six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings, Muriel Portman, Linda Blackburn, Donald Gagnon and preceded in death by her siblings Marcel Gagnon, Madeline Wheeler, Raymond Gagnon, Lillian Pratt, Anita Provencal, Norman Gagnon, Rudolph Gagnon, and Roger Gagnon.

He was the brother of Leona Pace and the late Edward and Eugene Leduc.
He also leaves behind his best friends of 60 years Kenny and Carol Lewin.
Raymond worked for over 35 Years at Pratt & Whitney Company in Hartford, CT.
Raymond’s greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed a good golf game and traveling with friends across the country and abroad.

Richard was born in Woonsocket, RI, a son of the late John B. St. Sauveur and the late Violet (Boucher) St. Sauveur.
He was employed by the Town of Burrillville for 16 years as the Superintendent of the Department of Public Works and retired in 2004. Richard was a member of the Rhode Island Public Works Association. He was a member of the Nasonville Volunteer Fire Department for 50 years. He also served as an Auxiliary Patrolman for the Burrillville Police Department from 1969-1975 and served in the Rhode Island Army National Guard from 1961-1967 and received his honorable discharge at the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Along with his loving wife of 57 years, he is survived by his daughter, Lynn (St. Sauveur) Wagner and her husband Joseph of Tolland, CT., his son, Smithfield Chief of Police Richard P. St. Sauveur, Jr. and his wife Gina of Smithfield, RI. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren, Phillip Wagner and his wife Ashley, Cameron Wagner and his wife Emily, 1st Lt. Darin St. Sauveur USAF and Kacie St. Sauveur, and great-granddaughter, Lillian Wagner.  He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Victor St. Sauveur and Rachelle (St. Sauveur) Calkins.
Richard was an avid fan of NASCAR, New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. He also enjoyed wood working, painting and golf.
Funeral will be Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at 9:30 AM at the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Road, North Smithfield with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St.Theresa’s Church, 35 Dion Drive, Nasonville, RI. Calling Hours will be Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 4-7 PM. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Parish Cemetery. .

Heaven gained an incredibly strong and handsome Angel on August 24, 2021 when Timothy L. Brien, 62, of Lakewood Ranch, FL passed away.
Formally from Woonsocket, RI, Timothy is the son of late Robert A. and Julia J. (Lavallee) Brien. Tim leaves behind his loving wife and best friend of 43 years Diane E. (Lussier) Brien.
Tim served in the U.S. Navy from 1977-1981, then moved on to his career of being a Fire Fighter and EMS Director for the City of Woonsocket from 1984-2007. Tim received his Master of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island and pursued his passion of being an Athletic Trainer at Brown University, then becoming the first Strength and Conditioning Coach for both Bryant University and Franklin Pierce University. Upon his retirement from his Coaching, he and his family relocated to Florida to keep his amazing tan going.
Tim had an incredible passion for weightlifting and powerlifting his entire life, holding one of the current records for being The Strongest Man in New England. Tim loved sharing his knowledge and passion with others and was an incredible mentor to all the athletes he coached and trained throughout his life.
Tim was a man of service in just about everything he did, family man, military, coaching, teaching, fireman and medic, so caring of everyone who crossed his path. He did everything with a gentle heart, true dedication, and compassion. He held an admiration by many and was often in the background observing. He always cherished his friends of longevity, their support that has been with him throughout his entire life. For those that were blessed to know him and feel how special a guy he truly was, they will always hold his presence in their hearts.
Tim is survived by his two daughters, Tarah Castiglioni and her husband Brian of Jaffrey, NH, Jamie Germain and her husband Jeffrey of Lakewood Ranch, FL, his three beautiful grandchildren Scarlett, Dax and Gia who will always remember having the most amazing Pep in the world. Tim’s grandchildren were his world, and he adored and loved them to no end. Also survived by his brother, Tommy Brien and his wife Cathy, his sister, Julie Brien, sister-in-law Debbie Brien and several nieces and nephews who will cherish his memories of camping, coaching, and hiking. Tim was predeceased in death by his brother Robert G. “Bobby” Brien. Tony served his country proudly in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked at Sears as an electronic technician for many years and was a former police officer for the Warwick Police Department. Upon retiring he was a clerk at Warehouse Liquors and a car transporter in the Northeast, working for Anchor Subaru, His fellow co-workers gave him the nickname “The Pope” because they thought he looked like Pope John Paul II.
Tony enjoyed his family, his grandchildren, his home and traveling. He was a quiet man. But he loved to laugh and always had a good time.
Tony was the cherished stepfather to Barbara Mandeville (Lucien) of North Smithfield, Beverly Langelier (Mark) of Harrisville, Bruce Carlton of St. Petersburg, FL., and Brenda Carlton of Mapleville.
Tony was the devoted Grandfather to Jocelyn, Zachary and Megan Mandeville, Erin, Kerri, and Kara Langelier, Ashley and Karissa Carlton, Jacob Carlton and T.J. Beausoleil. Also, a Great Grandfather to Natalie Dumas.

She is survived by her son Marc and his wife Louise of Pascoag, RI, her daughter, Celeste Bedigian, and her husband Peter, of Northbridge, MA, and three grandchildren, Katherine Stapp, Angela Bedigian and Matthew Bedigian. She is also survived by her sister, Gloria Arsenault, her brother-in-law, Gilbert Taschereau and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Normand, Clarice was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Courtemanche and her sisters, Marguerite Taschereau and Muriel Dearman.
