Tad E. Baldwin - March 19, 1968 - July 29, 2020

Departed: 07/29/2020 (Wynantskill)
Obituary Preview: A celebration of the life of Tad Baldwin (52), will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2020. Those who really knew Tad, respect that he took life cues from no one. Tad lived his life…. doing what he wanted, which was usually being stubborn and raising hell most of the time. However, if you know Tad, you also know the things he loved most in life were his girlfriend Nicky and her son Preston, his Harley-calling it their “wind therapy”, his mom and dad, and his life-time friend Pony. Of course, we cannot forget his special
uniqueness in loving and bonding with dogs. Tad was born March 19 th , 1968, in Troy, to Ted and Jean Baldwin. He is known as saying he was a
graduate of and teacher for “the school of hard knocks” and that “pain made him stronger every day”. He will be remembered for the numerous selfies he posted and for his sometimes questionable “FB” posts that often-times had to be deleted. Although no buildings were named after him and no monuments erected in his honor, he DID have the chance to know and love uncountable friends and
family members. Much more than most of us ever really experience. Tad was preceded in death by his mom, Jean Baldwin and survived by his dad, Ted Baldwin (Muriel Oswald- One of his favorites); girlfriend Nicky Gervais and her son Preston; Brothers: Ted Baldwin and Todd Baldwin; Sisters: Deb Reilly (Jeff) and Patty Dobkins (Kurt); numerous nieces and nephews; and
many, many friends who accepted Tad for Tad. Tad would want you to celebrate his life in your own way, most appropriately by raising a glass of your favorite drink, in his memory. Most likely, he would want you all to stop by and re-tell the stories he can no longer tell. As the Celebration will most likely contain the Adult material, that Tad loved and was
famous for, we would recommend that no children under the age 18 attend (Just saying).
