Obituary Preview: Joan M. (Primo) Powers Suman
Joan Suman, 82, of New Brighton, our beloved mother received her Angel wings, Friday, April 22, 2022, at PAM Health Specialty at Heritage Valley, Beaver.
Born December 27, 1939, in Rochester, Pa., she is the daughter of the late Anthony and Clara (Heyman) Primo.  Joan enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, cross stitch, and crafting with plastic canvas.  She spent many years singing in the St. Pudentiana and Holy Family church choirs.  She worked in banking, catering, and at Altmeyers Home Store in the Northern Lights shopping plaza.  She was very generous and contributed to several charities.  We enjoyed all her storytelling over the years, and she will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, John R. Powers, Sr., 2nd Husband, Anthony J. “Tony” Suman; daughter, Elizabeth A. “Beth” Blackburn; and sister, Cathy Primo Kinlock.
Surviving are her children, Tina (David) Gill, Daugherty Twp., John R. (Lydia) Powers, Jr., Morgantown, WV, Joanna (Bud) Cloughley, Spotsylvania, VA; eleven grandchildren, David Gill and Leanne (Ryan) Burger, Samuel (Kaila), Ashley, Paige, and Chloe Powers, Robert, Ryan, and Rory Cloughley, Adam and Andrew Blackburn; two great grandchildren, Peyton Powers and Everleigh Burger; brother, Frank (Janet) Primo, Monaca, sister, Antoinette (Richard) Primo Fabyanic, New Brighton; and son-in-law, David Blackburn, New Brighton.  Joan is also survived by her step-daughter, Melanie Suman, Rochester, and two step-sons, Richard (Tammy) Suman, Monaca, and Kelly Suman, King of Prussia; three grandchildren and three great-grandsons.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 p.m. until time of Blessing Service at 6:00 p.m. in the J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave, New Brighton.
Joan will be interred in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery beside her first husband, John R. Powers, Sr.

Obituary Preview: Kevin W. Cindric,55, of New Brighton, passed away Friday April 22, 2022 at his home, peacefully.
Born July 5, 1966 in New Brighton a son of Robert and Barbara (Minehart) Cindric of Midland. Kevin was an active member of the Living Water Family Church of Center Twp. Some of his passions were his dogs Blue, Baelee and Bella, antiquing, wood working and car cruises. He was a homebuilder for NVR and a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy.
In addition to his mother and father he is survived by his loving wife Vera Jane Cindric, who he married September 25, 2004, children Amanda (Howard) Childers, New Brighton, Arya (Allison) Parvizi, Cincinnati, OH, brother Jason (Joylyn) Cindric, Ohioville, nephews Landon, Zachery and Evan, brother-in-law Evan Tommy Snyder and his family, sister-in-law Darlene, special friends Doug and Nathalie Dragan, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded I death by his maternal grandparents Charles Wm. And Dorothy Marie (Crevar) Minehart, paternal grandmother Irene (Bidzilya) Cindric. Special friend George Frech and aunt Carole Jackson.
Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton and Thursday from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am with his friend Pastor Doug Dragan officiating.
Private interment will take place in Highland Cemetery.

He was a peacetime veteran serving with the U.S. Army and retired from Col-Fin Specialty Steel. He was a member of the Rev Masters Car Club, loved going to the drag races and working on cars. He always looked forward to Saturday breakfast with his hot rod buddies. He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Holy Family Church and enjoyed golfing (sometimes.)
Survived by his wife of sixty years Kathryn (Debo) Vukich, two sons Craig (Barb) Vukich, Beaver Falls, Chris Vukich, New Brighton, two grandsons A.J. Vukich, Tuttle, OK, Mitchell  Vukich, New Brighton, one granddaughter Shalyn Vukich, Beaver Falls, two sisters Clara (Arlen) Davis , Pasa Robela, CA, Rosemary Vukich, Scotts Valley, CA, sister-in-law Bon Vukich, Beaver Falls, several nieces, nephews and their families.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Edwin Vukich.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave, New Brighton.  Prayers will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley, Holy Family Parish, New Brighton.
Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Twp.
The family would like to thank Concordia and Gallagher Hospice for the compassionate care they provided for James.

Born October 23, 1931 in New Brighton the last of eleven children born to Charles and Sophia (Blahut) Kralic. She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Holy Family Church, New Brighton.
In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by six brothers John and Rudolph Sloboda, Charles, Joseph, Michael and Stephen Kralic and four sisters Matilda Johnson, Mary Moldovan, Rose Jack and Margaret Zivitz.
Survived by many nieces, nephews and their families.
Family and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian burial at 10:00am on Thursday at Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Holy Family Church, 521 7th Avenue, New Brighton.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Obituary Preview: At the age of 90, our much-loved mother, Kate Scanlon, wife of the late John R (Jack) Scanlon, went to heaven on Easter Sunday carried by the love of her children.  First in her life was always her strong Catholic faith and devotion to the saints.  She was widely respected and loved for her commitment to and unending support of her children, her “9 Ks”.  She was also known for her love of adventures/traveling, good restaurants, fashion and fun. She was the consummate mother who together with our father, provided us each with a magical, loving and privileged childhood. Our mom was a model of dignity, strength, encouragement and by example, taught us to treat everyone with respect and individual attention.
Left to marvel at her life and miss her forever are the 9 K’s: Kerry, Beaver Falls; Dr. Kim Lieb (late Vince), Moon Township; Kevin (Vicki), Little Rock Arkansas; Kathy Dailey (Scott), Mesa Arizona; Karol Williams (Dan), Westfield Center Ohio; Kerwin (Jenifer), Brooklyn Michigan, Kelly Pecora (Paul), Santa Fe New Mexico; Kieran (Claudia), Sewickley and Kristopher (Beaver Falls).  She is also the much-loved Grams/Grandma/GaGa to 17 grandchildren: Jack Lieb, Vincent Lieb, Bryan Scanlon, Leigh Scanlon Keener, Laura Scanlon Hum, Colin Dailey, Kirsten Dailey Lopez, Katie Scanlon, Klaire Scanlon, Sara Pecora, King Pecora, Jessica Pecora, Nick Pecora, Connor Scanlon, Kiera Scanlon, Brenden Scanlon, Vanessa Scanlon and step-grandmother to Brandon Williams.  Her legacy includes 11 great grandchildren: Jackson, Beckett, Bryce, Holland, Laura Beth, Harrison, Luke, Anne Elizabeth, Jackson, John Ryan and Hayes.
In addition to her husband Jack and son-in-law Vince, she was preceded in death by her parents, Sebastian and Anna Medaglia, 5 sisters (Minnie, Mary, Angie, Carm and Fran) and 5 brothers (Westie, Tommy, Joe, Jimmy and Johnny).
Following a private viewing, friends will be received by the family Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. in the J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave, New Brighton. Rosary will be recited Thursday at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.  Prayers will be held Friday at 9:20 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Monica’s Roman Catholic Church, Beaver Falls.
Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Beaver Falls.
The 9 K’s would like to especially express their gratitude to Franciscan Manor, Beaver Falls.  The Administration, Dr. Timothy Jackson, Nurses, Nurse’s aides and every staff member that provided mom such a kind, supportive and loving home over the past 6 months.  We would also like to acknowledge Advanced Hospice for their compassionate support that they gave to our mom over the last few difficult weeks.
Mom really hated to wear the color black.  She refused to wear it to Dad’s funeral.  Her favorite color was pink.  If you feel so inclined, you are invited to wear some shade of something pink in her memory.

Ina M. Weber - April 21, 1933 - April 13, 2022

Obituary Preview: Ina (Reich) Weber, 88, of New Brighton, passed away on April 13, 2022 at Lakeview Nursing.
Born on April 21, 1933 in Rochester Hospital to the late Clyde and Jean (Welsh) Reich. A graduate of Rochester High School. From a young age, she worked many jobs including Montgomery Wards, Pulaski Township Secretary and Supervisor, and Century National Bank. She was a devout member of the Marion Hill Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
She ways always on the go with various organizations and clubs including Eastern Star, Rainbow Girls, Junior Women’s, New Brighton Lions Club, parking cars at the Big Knob Fair with her Mickey Hands, and a canasta card club for over fifty years. In her retirement years, she wintered in Florida, travelled the world, and enjoyed car rides.
In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by her husband Ed Weber, 1994, sister Jean Robinson, Lois Ellinwood, Ruth Howe and brother Charlie Reich.
She was an inspiration to all, a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her children, Jeffrey (Karen) Weber, Tacie Ciccone, Lisa (Brett) McFadden, grandchildren Sarah (Nick) Nickells, Josh (Kim) Weber, Ashley (Justin) Ciccone, Rachel Ciccone, Baylee (Nick) Schwab, Tara McFadden and great grandchildren Livia and Declan Nickells, sister and brother-in-law Sally (Jim) Regney, sister-in-law Donna Reich, many nieces, nephews and their families.
Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 &6-8 in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton.  Saturday friends will be received at the Marion Hill Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am.
Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
The family sends special thanks to Lakeview Nursing Home for her excellent care these last three months.

Born June 5, 1944 a son of the late Emerson “Dink” Mooney and Shirley (Ziegle) Pritchard. He was a retired 5th Grade school teacher for the New Brighton Area School District. Pat was a football coach for the New Brighton Lions for many years and worked as a real estate agent for Howard Hanna.  Pat was also involved in many family enterprises during his life. He was a member of Pathway Church of Chippewa.
Pat is survived by his wife Patsy (Hindes) Mooney two sons Chuckie and Shawn Mooney, two daughters Colleen (Dale) Powell and Tracy (Sean) Kiggans, Patsy’s daughters Kim (George) Aukerman, Pam (Dan) McArddle, eight loving grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, two brothers Emy (Donna) Mooney and Denny (Patty) Mooney, one sister Sherryl Mooney, in-laws Bobby Hindes, Jim (Marilyn) Hindes, Donna (Dave) Whitmyre numerous nieces, nephews, their families and many extended loving family members and friends.
In addition to mother and father he was preceded in death by his sister Susie Mooney.
Friends will be received Monday from 4:00pm till 8:00pm in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton and Tuesday from 9:30am until time of funeral service at 10:30am in the funeral home.
Cremation will take place after the service.

Obituary Preview: Veto L. Colao, 85, of Beaver Falls, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April, 3, 2022, at his residence.
Veto was a son of the late Lawrence O. and Rose (DiTommaso) Colao, born September 10, 1936.  He graduated in 1954 from Lincoln High School.  After graduation he enlisted in the US Airforce serving in the Philippines.  Veto was employed by the Townsend Plant in New Brighton, and retired from Big Beaver Falls Area School District.  He was a volunteer firefighter for the city of Beaver Falls, and a member of the Beaver Falls Owl’s Club.  He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish (Holy Family Church).
Veto will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 56 years, Anna Marie (Cantelmi) Colao, Beaver Falls, children, Christine and Christopher “Goo” Swick, Ellwood City, Antoinette “Toni” and Gregory Krut, New Brighton, and Victoria and Mark Salansky, Beaver Falls, grandchildren, Alicia Swick, and Bethany Krut, step-grandchildren and spouses, Shannon (Justin) Geisse, Shane (Abby) Griffith, Shawna (Kevin) Shanahan, step-great-grandchildren, Savannah, Justin Jr., Temperance, and Allison; brother, Nick and Rosetta Colao, Ellwood City, brother-in-law, James “Jocko” Recce, sister-in-law, Frances Cantelmi, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jo Recce, 2 sisters-in-law, Ingrid Colao and Susan Cantelmi, 2 brothers-in-law, Ralph and Anthony Cantelmi.

Elsie is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Keith and Pamela Richter, North Sewickly Twp., Kenneth and Michele Richter, Aliquippa, one daughter Melissa Richter, Zelienople, nine grandchildren Marie (Jeff) Jones, Eric (Melanie) Richter, Andrew Richter, Angela (Chris) Harper, Matthew (Shena Phung)Richter, Michael Richter, Jennifer Richter(Dan Heagerty), Danielle (Adam) Logan Shana Richter and 14 great grandchildren, A special thanks to her neighbors Michele and Rick Costanza, and nieces Renee Senock and Tina Bruno for all the special attention given to Elsie over the years.

Born November 3, 1951, he is the son of the late George J. and Marie (Hagg) Sullivan.  Joseph enjoyed 20 years in Erie, Pa with his wife enjoying sunsets, the beach, camp fires and good friends.  He was a proud member of the New Brighton Eagles where he held various positions, prepared many dinners, and was an elf with his wife for Santa.  He was also a member of Post 19, American Legion, New Brighton and was retired from New Brighton School District where he was a custodian.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George “Skip” Sullivan.
Surviving is his loving wife, Patricia (Shirey) Sullivan, a son, Brian J. Sullivan, Butler; daughter, Amy Marie (Ian) Greene, and his wonderful grandson Brody Greene; two step daughters, Leigh Anne Householder and her husband Craig Dieckhoner, Columbus, OH; Laura Beth Householder and her partner Jake Wentland, Dunmore, PA; sisters, Sandra (John) Black, OH; Rose Marie (Jeff) Circle, Indiana, many nieces, nephews and their families.
Joseph wanted a hell of a wake at the New Brighton Eagles, so join the family and raise a glass and share memories on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the New Brighton Eagles, 900 8th Ave, New Brighton, Pa.

Obituary Preview: Angelo J. Greco Sr., 75 of New Brighton, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022, in Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab.
Born April 7, 1946, in New Brighton, he is the son of the late Bruno (Bertha) Greco.  Angelo was retired from Horsehead where he worked in the sinter plant.  He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.  Angelo loved college basketball and watching his granddaughter playing softball.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Greco and a sister, Patty Black, brother, Ron Greco.
Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Cheryl (Sadler) Greco; son, Angelo (Shelley) Greco Jr., New Brighton; thirteen grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Precious Greco.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Monday, April 18, 2022, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lighthouse for the Blind, 720 3rd Ave, New Brighton.

Born June 7, 1930 in Harmony the daughter of Roy O. Blackburn and Ethel (Nesbit) Stock. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had worked several years as a floral designer for the former Spratt Flower Shop and McNutt’s Abbey Flower Shop. She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Holy Family Church, where she put many hours in the kitchen at their bingo nights.
In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by her loving husband James P. Spratt, November 16, 1995, one grandson Jay Dylan Spratt, December 29, 2016 and her brother Ronald R. Blackburn, July 24, 2019.
Survived by her six children J. Michael (Karen) Spratt, Center Twp, Margaret (Kim) Eichenlaub, Statham, GA, Jay Daniel Spratt, New Brighton, Jeffrey (Kelly) Spratt, Cartersville, GA, J. Obituary Preview: Emmett Bryant Baker, Sr., 77, of Rochester, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, March 24, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was surrounded by his loving family.
Born in August 1944 in Glen Dale, WV, he was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served honorably in the Vietnam War.  He was an avid Steelers fan and golfer.  He thoroughly enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his fellow golf enthusiasts of the Blackhawk GC Champions League and Eaton Electrical League at Rolling Acres, his second homes.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emmett Delmond Baker (KIA July 10, 1944 WWII), Geraldine (Moore) Schultz, and his step-father, Robert Schultz.
Surviving is his adoring wife, Linda (Edmunds); his four sons and daughters-in-law, Emmett, Jr. and Jenn Baker, Robert and Apryl Baker, Michael and Kylee Baker, Scott and Izumi Baker; ten grandchildren, Bryant, Alicia, Miranda, Emily, Samuel, Gavin, Evan, Ruby, Annsley, and Amelia; sister Sandy (Pat) Napolitan; brother Lee Schultz.  Also surviving are his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Carol Edmunds, Bob (Dee) Edmunds, Bill (Kristy) Edmunds, Terry (Gary) Miller, Diane Verrico, Ron (Kris) Edmunds, Pam (Frank) Dodson, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.
He will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know him. He was the best son, husband, father, grandfather and uncle.  A caring and thoughtful man, his boyish, larger-than-life grin would light up any room.
Friends will be received Monday, March 28th from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton, PA 15066, where a service will be held Tuesday at 11am, with Pastor Bill Anzevino officiating.
Private burial will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.

He was a very active member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Holy Family Church, where he was a Eucharistic Minister and had taught CCD for many years. He was the property manager for the Patterson Arms Condominiums in Patterson Twp. Mike was also an avid woodworker and a supporter of Five Rivers Bobbin and Lace Makers.
Survived by his wife of 52 years Mary (Wilcox) Hrotic, one son Steven M. Hrotic, Phd, and his wife Christine Hrotic, and one grandson Dmitri M. Hrotic, Burlington, Vermont, one sister Donna (Carl) Hertzler, Suffolk, VA, sister-in-law Donna Wilcox, brothers-in-law Tom Wilcox, John (Michelle) Wilcox, David Wilcox, numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
In addition to his mother and father he was preceded in death by two sisters Rose Marie Bittner and Martha Presecan, one brother-in-law Don Wilcox.
There will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to share in his Mass of Christian burial Friday at 1:00pm in Our Lady of the Valley, Holy Family Church, 521 7th Avenue, New Brighton.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Gerald Amistade; her parents, Elsa Mae and Carl Henry Philipp; her siblings, David, Roger, Frieda and Bertha.
Shirley is survived by her brothers and sisters, Cora (Bill) Hilberg, Lillian (twin) Mittner, Luther (Leatha) Philipp, Richard Philipp, Lois Philipp, Ernest (Donna) Philipp, and Brenda Philipp.  She was employed for 45 years at Columbia Gas of PA and after retirement, she and Gerry traveled extensively.  She enjoyed trying out new recipes and baking for family and friends, especially at Christmas time.  Playing organ music was a soothing pastime that she had taught herself.  We all enjoyed her mini recitals.  Shirley also had a passion for writing poetry of every day blessings and was a member and was a member and acknowledged by the International Post Society.  Her life was full and Shirley is now in the heavenly arms of her Master and Savior.
Friends will be received Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. in J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave, New Brighton.  Pastor Gary Hilton, celebrant.

She is survived by her children, Tawnya (Jon Leksell) Lake, Terry and Tiffany Lake, grandchildren, Griffin and Kelly Lake, Trevor Lake, Nate Lake, Max Lake, Chloe Lake, Legion Lake, Jason Lake and Amber Lake, and two great-grandchildren, also numerous friends.
Along with her mother, Vina was preceded in death by two sons, Daniel Eugene Lake and Edwin “Pete” Lake Jr., and her first husband, Edwin Merle Lake Sr.
Per Vina’s wishes there will be no services.

John "Jake" McMahon - January 11, 1941 - March 15, 2022

Obituary Preview: I have been tasked to write this obituary and am sorry to say there is no way to do it justice. But I will do my best. There is so much to say about a life well lived. Jake's life was too BIG to put into print. He was the proud owner with his brother Bill of McMahon's cycle, Beaver Falls. From humble beginnings he with his brother Bill and sister Maureen built a business celebrating 50 years. Jake was born in Pittsburgh, January 11, 1941, the third son, to Patrick McMahon and Anna Mae (Newham) McMahon. Jake spent the early part of his life in McKees Rocks, forging many lasting friendships. He was drafted into the U.S. Army and served his country proudly. Jake's enthusiasm for motorcycling prompted his relocation to Beaver Falls at the age of 31, where he lived the rest of his life. His 1969 Harley Sportster is displayed at the shop, Through the years many new friendships were made who will mourn his loss, kindness, compassion, generosity, hard work, family and friends and lots of good times.  Jake was all this and so much more. Jake was an avid animal lover having had several dogs and horses through the years. He leaves behind his faithful companion Paddy. He was a member of the B.V. Valley Country Club and also the Beaver Falls Elks.
Even till the end Jake was touching lives like only he could. The staff at Providence health care will testify to that Jake was truly loved by them all. Our family would like to thank them all for their kind and compassionate care and for their kindness towards us at this difficult time. A special thanks to Debbie Sheets for her care and love for Jake, you truly went above and beyond. Jake could be like a box of chocolates; you never knew what you might get. Thanks for loving him, you are all angels.
Jake was preceded in death by brothers Tommy and Jimmy and many good friends, most recently, Nick Crivelli. You are all together again maybe enjoying a vodka soda and probably a whiskey shot if Nick has a say. Jake will be greatly missed by his brother Bill (Val)and sister Maureen who not only lost her brother but her best friend. His presence is missed but not forgotten by the gang at McMahon’s, Brian, Ted, Kurt, Robin, Greg, Anthony, and Mike He leaves to remember him his loyal friend Bruce Reed.  Jake will live on in the memories of his many cousins, nieces, and nephews We know there are people we aren't even aware of who will mourn him. A true testament to a life well lived. May you rest in peace.

Carrie was born on August 29, 1974, in New Brighton, PA. and is the daughter of the late Anthony Mangano and Colleen Burkett.  Carrie loved spending time with her daughters, family, and friends.  She loved fiercely, deeply and although at times she could be strong-willed her heart was always in the right place.  She loved trips to Disney, taking her daughters to the zoo, and walking her dog Bronx. Carrie always looked forward to and enjoyed cookouts, football games, and holidays with the family.  We take comfort in knowing that Carrie is now at peace surrounded by light.
In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather William H. Nye, paternal grandparents Louis and Kathleen Mangano; father-in-law, John Mendenhall; stepfather, Terry Burkett; uncle, Louis Mangano, Jr.

Sondra graduated from Beaver Falls Sr high school in 1966 and received her LPN/RN degrees from the Community College of Beaver County.
Sondra worked as a Nursing professional (RN) and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. She was an active Christian who loved helping people. She truly loved her family and her work in the nursing field.
A celebration of life event is being planned for this summer. As Sondra was an active contributor to the American Cancer Society, PBS and the USO, the family requests donations in Sondra's name in lieu of flowers, if you feel inspired to do so.
