In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Samantha Christian Lemmons, two sons, Cayden Jace Lemmons and Christian Bryce Lemmons all of the home; one sister, Katilyn Lemmons of Whiteville, NC., Maternal Grandmother, Deborah Smith of Cerro Gordo, NC., Paternal Grandparents, Thrisia Egeland of San Diego, CA., Randall Lemmons Sr. of Ok. Three nieces; Kyliegh, Summer, and Aleena, two nephews, Dayton, Devon.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by Maternal Grandfather, Harrell Smith.
Visitation will be held Monday April 25th 2022 from the hours of 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 1:00pm in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with entombment to follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.

Richard Malcolm Fowler, 74, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 20, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born November 28, 1947, in Horry County, SC, a son of the late Malcolm Mace Fowler and Essie Emeline Fowler.
Richard gave his heart to Jesus at Mt. Beulah Church in 1973 and has been a faithful servant of the Lord since that time. An active member of Mission Valley Original Freewill Baptist Church, he has faithfully served as church superintendent since 2005, as well as song director for many years.
Richard was a US Army veteran who proudly and willingly served in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his faithful, loving wife of 50 years, Vicky Ward Fowler of the home; one daughter, Alissa Shonta’ Fowler of Bladenboro, NC; one son, Richard “Ashley” Fowler and his wife, Tiffany, of Tabor City; grandsons, William Levie Simmons (Spring) and Alden James Simmons; one granddaughter, Kambri Faith Fowler; one great-granddaughter, Annabelle Marie Simmons; and a loving brother, Michael Hester Fowler of Mollie, NC.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by one brother, Donnie Mace Fowler and one sister, Nellie Fowler Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Mission Valley Original Freewill Baptist Church, with burial following in Snowhill-Ward Cemetery in Tabor City. Visitation will be in the church from 1:00-2:00 PM.

Lynda Prince Shannon Chipps, age 77, of Tabor City, NC died Sunday, March 6, 2022, in the McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River, SC.  Born June 26, 1944 in Horry County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Carl Prince and Cora Lee Harrelson Prince.
Lynda was known for her beautiful smile and her angelic singing.  In 1954 in a cornfield right beside her little country home that sat on a hill on Wright Road in Tabor City, Lynda gave her heart to Jesus and she served him until she took her last breath.  Lynda was a member of Forest Lawn Baptist Church and a former member of New Home #1 Baptist Church where she loved singing in the choir.  She also sang in the Quartet Spiritual Echos and Children of the King with her children.
She is survived by one daughter, Lora Harper and husband Royce of Tabor City; one son, Jerry Wayne Shannon and fiancée Sherry of Tabor City; one brother, Joseph Mitchell Prince and wife Harrie of Tabor City; two sisters, Verlyn Stevens of Tabor City and Carolyn O’Quinn of Tabor City; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and special friend, George Barnhill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Wayne Shannon and William “Billy” Chipps, Jr; and one brother, William Carlyle Prince.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.

Tonie Ann “Tonya” Scott, wife of Ronald “Ron” Scott, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at MUSC in Charleston, SC. Born December 25, 1974, she was a daughter of the late Tommy Lee Walters, Sr. and Linda Britt Walters.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Scott of the home; her mother, Linda Walters of Chadbourn; step father, Ben Walters of Chadbourn; her daughter, Jackalynn Fowler, and her husband, Austin, of Whiteville, NC; her sister, Linda Gail Ward and her husband, Keith, of Chadbourn; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Khloee; two aunts, Louise Hodge and Eva Daniels; a cousin, Jackie Marariegos; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Lee Walters, Sr., her brother, Tommy Lee Walters, Jr., and a grandchild, Jacob.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 4, 2022 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Tabor City, NC, with burial following in Bass Cemetery in Fairmont, NC. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday in the chapel of Inman Ward Funeral Home, Tabor City.

Luke Simmons, age 39, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 25, 2022.  He is survived by his children, Ainsley, Raegan and Wyatt; mother, Tammy Winkler Tarkington (Wayne); father, Frankie Simmons (Sara); brother, Jesse Simmons; half-sister, Brooke Simmons; step sister, Diane Godwin; nephews, Tanner and Connor Simmons; niece, Rileigh Simmons; grandfather, Roger Richardson, Sr..
Luke was predeceased by his grandparents, Hazel and Dewey Simmons; and grandmother, Joann Richardson.
Luke served honorably in the Unites States Marines, achieving the rank of sergeant.  He graduated the Marine Corps boot camp at Paris Island, SC as a platoon guide honor graduate.  He was top six out of seven hundred recruits.  He obtained the elite duty of serving with the HMX-1 Presidential Security detail as a Military Police Officer on the Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA.
Luke loved God, his children, family and Corp.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the McPherson Cemetery.

Robert Junior Hinson age 84, of Beaverdam Rd., died Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in his home. Born in Robeson County, NC, he was the son of Earl Hinson and Dora Long Hinson.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred S. Hinson of the home. Two sons, Jeff Hinson and wife Jerrie of Clarendon, NC, Joey Hinson and wife Alicia of Clarendon, NC, two grandchildren, Thomas Blake Hinson and wife Dannelle, Katelyn Regina Hinson, two great-grandchildren, Wyatt Hinson and Trenton Little.
In addition to his parents, his was preceded in death by his daughter, Regina Ann Hinson, one brother, Steve Hinson, two sisters, Kathleen Hinson Bradford, Agnes Hinson Bost, twin sister, Pearl Eure.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
