On April 11, 2022 Linda departed this life to go home and be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Linda did not enter this world alone. She entered with a lifelong companion, best friend her twin the late Ms. Brenda “Smith” Lewis, of Sparta, Ga. For those that knew them they were affectionately called “The Smith Twins”. Linda grew up in several parts of the city of Sparta, Ga. At a young age Linda joined Hickory Grove Baptist Church. She worked as a compassionate Healthcare professional at Providence Healthcare and Sparta Healthcare of Sparta until her health declined.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons; Vito and Kenneth Satcher, 4 sisters; Her Twin Brenda Lewis, Bernice Harris, Gladys (Charles) Webb, and Carolyn Davis all of Sparta, Ga. 2 brothers; Alvin Smith and David Lee Dixon both of Sparta, Ga. 1 sister in law Claudette Williams of Milledgeville, Ga. and 1 brother in law; Elijah “ Pigwheel” Williams. Linda was a very fruitful tree whom leaves behind 7 devoted children; Rico (Sandrica) Smith of Atlanta, Ga., Damien (Drashunda) Smith of Mayfield, Ga. Lashonda Satcher of Lithonia, Ga., Kimberly (Eric) Martin of Sandersville, Ga. Bruce Satcher of Mayfield, Ga., and Arsenio Satcher whom has never parted her side, and lastly a baby girl Latresia Satcher of Atlanta, Ga. 3 devoted sisters; Whillene Tucker of Sparta, Ga., Mary Alice Morris of Sandersville, Ga and Jeanette Smith of Sparta, Ga. 2 brothers Carl (Tammy) Dixon of Sparta, Ga., George “Bip” Dixon, Sparta, Ga., and Evelyna (Jesse) Cummings, Milledgeville, Ga. She also leaves behind a devoted companion for life Mr. Freddie Culver whom she affectionately called her “Sugar Baby”. Linda’s legacy will live on through generations to come, leaving behind 24 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
To those that knew Linda, knew without a doubt that she was and always have been “tough as a box of nails” and sometimes “stubborn as a bull”, but we all loved and cherished her dearly.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022 / 12PM at Second Mineral Spring.

Phil is proceeded in death by her beloved brother, Adrian Smith and Sister, Gloria Smith.
She’s a graduate of Hancock Central High School, class of 1985. Phil enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, working in her flower garden, shopping, and vacationing. Phil was a dedicated hard-worker, which she served 23 years at Mohawk in Milledgeville, GA.
She was one of the most caring and helpful people you would want to meet.
Those left to cherish her glorious memories include her husband, Carl Jones; three sons:    Dontarius (Sameika) Smith, Jamarius (April) Smith, of Sparta, Ga, and Donnivan (Monique) Hunt of Milledgeville, GA. Five grandchildren: Demeikius Smith, Dontarius Smith Jr.,   Tykedrick Taylor, Heaven Smith, and River Hunt. One brother, Alvin Harper, of Jacksonville, FL. Four sisters: Barbara Barksdale, Gladys Jones, Leisa Redd, and Yvonne Rocker, all of   Sparta, GA. Four aunts: Lizzie Hunt of Milledgeville, GA, Gloria Merriweather, and Juanita Youngblood of Sparta, GA, and Catherine Barnes of Atlanta, GA. Seven uncles: Nathaniel Smith, Emmanuel Watkins, Marvin Smith, J.B. Smith of Milledgeville, GA, Marion Smith of Haddock, GA, L.C. Smith of Philadelphia, PA, and Leroy Smith of Atlanta, GA.
