Sisters, Margie Williams of Amarillo and Freida Byram and her husband Les of Amarillo, TX and a special sister-in-law Carolyn Bolllman of Milton, IL and numerous Nieces and Nephews.Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.Charley was born December 23, 1935 to Walter and Mabel (Murray) Baker in Hartley, TX.He attended school and graduated from Hartley High School in 1954. He served in the US Army in Stuttgart, Germany. Later, he attended Texas Tech University. He then worked for Rock Island, Southern Pacific, and Union Pacific Railroads. After 38 years of service he retired in 1998. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Hartley. He had a love for sports, especially the Dalhart Wolves, Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. He also enjoyed working with cattle and horses.
